HIGH-OCTANE OCEANIC KNUCKLER BANNERBOT BATTLE JACKET OPERATED AND MAINTAINED BY BY CHAI SCHALA AND GUARDIA NAME: H.O.O.K ALIASES: - High-Octane Oceanic Knuckler (BBA) - Bannerbot Battlejacket Model 2.0.0 (BBA) - BBArracuda (Chai & Guardia) - Hooky, Hookmeiser, Hookster, etc (Chai) - Cheeky Asshole (Guardia) AGE: Active as of 7/26/AGE 2804 SPECIES: Augmented Battle Jacket - Android GENDER: None, but HOOK is a handsome boy FACTION: Blue Banner Army POWER LEVEL: 101,697 TECHNIQUE SLOTS: 19/19
APPEARANCE: HOOK is a massive, 70 foot-long robot that can either be automatically operated by his AI, or manually controlled from a cockpit accessible in his forehead. He sports a teal and blue color scheme, with sharpened jaws for tearing through even the hardiest of metals- or fellow fighters. His eyes sport a pair of metallic black sclera, along with two piercing yellow pupils.
White and gray highlights dot his stomach, back, and webbed fingers. Several white fins pop out of his head and long neck. Around his torso, the robot has a maximum diameter of about 20 feet- HOOK is longer than he is wide. Yet he's still a giant robot you don't want to cross.
HISTORY Shortly after the creation of the first agumented battle jacket, OXHEAD, whom battled alongside Premier Vi-Poi with flying colors, little plans for more of these "Bannerbots" for the members of KAOS began to pop up. It was a risk, though- OXHEAD was supposed to be a one-off thing that they could only trust the premier with. Yet Chai Schala, a recent recruit to KAOS, seemed quite promising. He was always around, responding to anything and everything he could. Dedicated and full of spunk and love for everyone, but with the willingness to defend and protect in any way he could, Chai seemed to be the perfect candidate to trust another giant death robot with.
Created by Dr. Slouch, HOOK was designed to be a swift and adaptable combatant that could think and plan, even on it's own. Wheras OXHEAD seems to be much more brawn than brains, it's the reverse for this robotic fishbrain. With the heafty cost of OXHEAD, HOOK hadn't received the same special treatment in the strength department- making another robot just like OXHEAD was simply too costly for the Blue Banner Army.
And then, one fateful day, Chai was mailed a strange glove of some sort... After tinkering with the POW glove for a short while, the zoanthrope summoned his personal giant robot buddy to his side! Shocked at first, Chai found several notes explaining the situation and guides to operate the robot, though HOOK seemed to have quite the personality and brains, even without a pilot. Guardia quickly sparked a rivalry with the robot, believing he was the superior partner for Chai. Nonetheless, the goat has graciously accepted HOOK's hand in battle.
TECHNIQUES (START SLOT 1) [UT1] Piranha Drone: A hatch on HOOK's back opens up, and a 12 foot long, piranha-esque drone flies out, sporting the same color scheme as the giant barracuda. HOOK deposits some of his own energy into the drone, which drains his own energy. The piranha gains 50% of HOOK's power level, whereas the robot himself keeps the other 50%. Much like a multiform, the two fight in unison with their own KP pools, though they both share the same attacks.
(START SLOT 2) [UT2] Dual Piranha Droids: The upgraded form of the Piranha Drone. A hatch on HOOK's back opens up, and two 12-foot long, piranha-esque drone flies out, sporting the same color scheme as the giant barracuda. HOOK deposits some of his own energy into the drone, which drains his own energy. Each piranha gains 33% of HOOK's power level, whereas the robot himself keeps the other 33%. Much like a multiform, the two fight in unison with their own KP pools, though they both share the same attacks.
(START SLOT 3) [UT3] Triple Piranha Automatons: The upgraded form of the Piranha Drone and Dual Piranha droids. A hatch on HOOK's back opens up, and three 12-foot long, piranha-esque drone flies out, sporting the same color scheme as the giant barracuda. HOOK deposits some of his own energy into the drone, which drains his own energy. Each of the three piranhas gain 25% of HOOK's power level, whereas the robot himself keeps the other 25%. Much like a multiform, the two fight in unison with their own KP pools, though they both share the same attacks.
(6k PL SLOT) [SU1] Salt Shaker: HOOK releases a cloud of salt, gathered from the salty ocean waters he swims in, from pores on his back, neck, and tail. This smokescreen irritates the eyes and nostrils of a single foe, which may cause them to loose focus on a charged attack. The salt cloud is fired at 100% of HOOK's active power level, and stuns if 80% of the opponent's attack is less than the stun's power. This costs 1 KP to use.
(12k PL SLOT) [SU2] Salt Spray: The upgraded form of Salt Shaker. HOOK releases an even thicker, larger cloud of salt particles to irritate the foe, gathered from the ocean waters he commonly swims in. This smokescreen irritates the eyes and nostrils of a single foe, which may cause them to loose focus on a charged attack. The salt cloud is fired at 200% of HOOK's active power level, and stuns if 80% of the opponent's attack is less than the stun's power. This costs 2 KP to use.
(18k PL SLOT) [SU3] Salt Spring: The upgraded form of Salt Shaker and Salt Spray. HOOK releases every bit of literal salt he's gathered in an attempt to stun the opponent. This smokescreen irritates the eyes and nostrils of a single foe, which may cause them to loose focus on a charged attack. The salt cloud is fired at 300% of HOOK's active power level, and stuns if 80% of the opponent's attack is less than the stun's power. This costs 3 KP to use.
(24k PL SLOT) [SU1] Aquatic Compression: Drawing in oxygen and water molecules from his surroundings to power his internal systems, HOOK begins to charge a small attack to strike a foe with, but this straightforward powerup technique allows the robot to fire any charged N1 attack in his arsenal. This costs 1 KP upon attack firing.
(30k PL SLOT) [SU2] Pressurized Moisture: The upgraded form of the Aquatic Compression. Sucking in even more oxygen and water might cause those around HOOK to feel a little dizzy from a lack of air. Nonetheless, as per usual, the BBArracuda bot can charge any UP2 or V2 attack without disclosing what it is exactly. Upon usage of the charged attack, 2 KP are drained.
(36k PL SLOT) [SU3] Ocean Drain: The upgraded form of Aquatic Compression and Pressurized Moisture Drawing in massive amounts of water and oxygen from the air and possible bodies of water nearby, HOOK begins to prepare a powerful attack, systems shifting into high gear. This technique allows HOOK to charge any chargeable attack that costs 3 KP- thus UV3s and MP3s are subject to use without disclosing the attack name. When fired, the attack drains 3 KP, as per usual.
(42k PL SLOT) [N1] Constrict: HOOK flies towards a foe, wrapping his body around them. The robot's massive, snake-like form constricts the opponent to deal a small amount of damage. This attack charges at 33% intervals up to five times, and costs 1 KP upon firing the attack.
(48k PL SLOT) [V2] Crackling Constriction: The upgraded form of Constrict. HOOK flies towards a foe, wrapping his body around them. The robot's massive, snake-like form constricts the opponent to deal a small amount of damage. This time around, his body courses with electricity, shocking and possibly disrupting his prey's charging attack. This fires a static stun at 100% of HOOK's Power level, which stuns if 80% of the opponent's attack is within his stun's PL. It also charges at a 33% rate up to five times, though the stun PL remains unchanged, regardless of charge. Costs 2 KP.
(54k PL SLOT) [UV3] Sparking Strangulation: The upgraded form of Constrict. It also charges at a 66% rate up to five times, though the stun PL remains unchanged, regardless of charge. Costs 3 KP.
(60k PL SLOT) [N1] Discharge: HOOK's body courses with electricity. Through an electrified tail-slap, bite, punch, or other melee attack, the robot shocks his opponent to deal damage, transferring his built-up electricity to the foe. This attack deals 33% of Hook's PL, and can be charged five times. Costs 1 KP.
(66k PL SLOT) [UP2] Power Surge: HOOK's body courses with electricity. Through an electrified tail-slap, bite, punch, or other melee attack, the robot shocks his opponent to deal damage, transferring his built-up electricity to the foe. Now, he can also used ranged attacks, though they are all electrical in nature. Spheres, beams, and a rapid-fire barrage of electrical bullets are all viable ways of using the Power Surge. This attack deals 66% of Hook's PL, and can be charged five times. It can also split to hit multiple foes! Costs 2 KP.
(72k PL SLOT) [MP3] Megavolt: HOOK's body courses with electricity. Through an electrified tail-slap, bite, punch, or other ranged/melee attack, the robot shocks his opponent to deal damage, transferring his built-up electricity to the foe. His entire body glows with blue electricity now, which fades after the attack is used. This deals 100% of Hook's PL, and can be charged five times. It can also split to hit more foes! Costs 3 KP.
(78k PL SLOT) [UT] Threat Detection HUD: A ki sensing system carried over from OXHEAD, HOOK's predeceasing battle jacket model, to HOOK himself. This display coats the giant drone's vision, giving him information on the opponent and their power level, or put a gauge on the power of another attack. Other androids cannot be sensed by HOOK- those cheeky robots do not emanate the ki needed for HOOK to pick up their energy in the first place!
(84k PL SLOT) [UT] Overclock: HOOK pushes his systems into overdrive. Heating up his internal workings, the battle jacket increases his attack power by +x1, but this overheat causes his defenses to drop by -x3. This only works when a transformed form with a modifier at or greater than x3 is active- so no using the Overclock in base form.
(90k PL SLOT) [UT] Propulsion: HOOK's body sports numerous oxygen propulsive jets that allow him to snake around in the air as if it were second nature. So long as he is conscious and has the energy, the robot can meander around in the skies to strike his foes, taking battles to new heights!
(96k PL SLOT) [UT] Oxygen-Pressure Protection: Even in the deepest waters, or the darkest voids of space, HOOK has little problems with the environment. He doesn't suffer from a loss of oxygen as an android, and has been built to withstand crushing pressure and keep fighting with grievous wounds any organic warrior would cripple from. Nothing a wrench and a hammer can't fix.
TRANSFORMATIONS (x3) Battlesuit Mode MK.I: HOOK's form compresses down to a suit of armor wearable and operable by a user. (x10) Battle Mode MK.II: HOOK in his giant glory. Operable by a POW Glove, internal command center, or AI. (x20) UNKNOWN (x30) UNKNOWN
