The ship travelled through space at speeds unbeknownst to Scargot, he was deep in his meditation and had no intention of doing anything until he felt as though he was close to earth. The ship was designed after the ships that the earlier generations of Namek’ used when they escaped the storms of the old Namek. The inside of the ship was no more than the size of a Namekian house as the Namekian’ it was small and had very little room to do anything except sit and wait for the ship to land. This didn't bother Scargot as all he needed to do was meditate in order to strengthen his body and his mind. Whilst meditating many things ran through his mind, would he be bale to take the position of Kami or would he have to prove himself again and become stronger. Scargot opened his eyes just in time to see the giant behemoth of a planet in front of him, he was here Planet Earth. His new home and planet he will learn to protect, he had been meditating for the whole trip so his mind was cleared and he was ready for any troubles he may come across on Earth.
This was it, Scargot had begun fulfilling his destiny the first steps were complete. He had passed the tests the elder Namekian’ had put upon him. He had split his body in two, banishing the evilness in his heart to make him pure. This was all well and good and he felt he was ready for the role as he heard of legends of a Nameless Namekian, also known as the Son of Katas who was once the Guardian of Earth and created the first ever Dragon Balls on Earth. The legends stated that in order for the Nameless Namekian to become guardian of earth he had to first split his body and expel the evil inside him in order to make himself pure and ready to take on the responsibility as Guardian of the Earth.
As he got closer and closer to Earth Scargot began to doubt his ability, could he be completely pure of heart? He may have undergone the Namekian ritual of expelling his evil half but was it enough, was he even strong enough to create a dragon and protect the earth? Scargot shook himself, of course he was ready, even if he wasn’t he would train and make himself ready as there was no other way of knowing unless he tried.
Sitting in the captain chair, he watched as the ship came in for landing on earth, unbeknownst to him the ship was not easily capable of landing itself. Once the ship hit the Earth’s atmosphere the control panel began to blink, Scargot began to hit as many buttons as he could but to no avail. The ship began to spin out of control and there was nothing Scargot could do but watch as the Earth got closer and closer. Without any warning, Scargot didn’t want to die today so he used his antenna beam blowing a hole in the roof of the ship. He quickly raised into the air and flew out the hole he made, once he left the ship the turbulence and atmosphere almost killed him but because of his will and strength it only knocked him out. Falling towards the Earth and completely out to it Scargot couldn’t do anything but wait stay free falling and having know sense of anything that was happening around him.
Hitting the ground with a loud crash, Scargot laid almost dead and by the time he had awoken the sun was rising again. He had been out to it all day and all night, he opened his eyes and looked at the stars Earth really was a beautiful planet. Scargot was alive and he couldn’t be happier, he looked around seeing many trees and wildlife around him, small creatures that came up to him and walked over his body. He was delighted that the planet he was destined to protect was so beautiful, that was until he tried to move. Scargot’ happiness quickly turned to dread when he moved his head so he could see his body. He seemed to only have his right leg and his left arm was hanging by a thread, using his right arm to prop himself up he saw that his leg was completely torn off and seemed to have landed a couple of feet away.
This wasn’t that big of a deal, luckily he had been taught the art of regeneration that all Namekian’ were born with. The only problem was it took a while and it hurt like hell, he decided that his leg was the most important so focusing on his leg he began to yell as loud as he could. This seemed to ease the pain as he was focusing on yelling, doing this for about a minute suddenly out of the hole in his leg grew the rest of his leg covered in green ooze. After this he fell back down and rested for a bit, it may be a good technique but it takes a lot out of him. After he rested he stood up, with his right hand gripped to his left arm he completely ripped it off. There was no point in having it if it wasn’t connected; he was better off just regenerating a new one. Scargot used this time to go for a walk around, maybe he will find someone who could help him find the Guardian of Earth’ residence so he could become the rightful protector he was born to be.
When he felt like he was at enough strength Scargot began to yell, focusing all his Ki into his left arm he finally regenerated a new one. The Green liquid that oozed out his arm covering his arm, it was disgusting to any none Namekian but to Scargot it was natural. The sun had now risen, it was a new day and the day that he would become the new guardian of Earth… But where should he go?
He decided that the best way to handle arriving on a new planet was to try and sense all the different power levels and then observing all the different sties and landmarks. Closing his eyes and raising into the air, Scargot began to try and sense any close power levels. The world was huge but that still didn’t explain why he couldn’t feel any significant power levels, could it be he wasn’t used to sensing so many small power levels that he couldn’t actually find the higher ones. Now that he was here, there had to be somewhere he could go in order to claim his role as Protector of the earth. Scargot took flight and began to travel around; maybe someone will be able to help him in a nearby town.
Flying over the top of a city, this city had many tall buildings and when he tried to sense the Ki of the inhabitants no one had a power level over fifty, could it be that in some areas of Earth there was no fighters much like the specific villages on Namek. Looking down at the city he saw a bunch of flying spaceships that didn’t seem to go into space, intrigued by this he was concerned as to whether or not the Earthlings could fly on their own. In order to not bring attention to himself, Scargot decided that maybe he should walk around the city and not fly. Finding the entrance of the city Scargot descended to the ground, Scargot then began to look around; surely there was someone here that could help him get to where he needed to be. Walking through the streets he noticed he towered over a lot of the Earthlings, maybe that was why a lot of them seemed to walk away from or around him in such ways. He continued to walk through this jungle of a town until suddenly a loud voice could be heard from behind him, turning around he noticed a bunch of these spaceships land and out of them a few earthlings jumped out and stood in front of him. “Stop right there, this is West City Police. Who are you and what are you doing here?” Scargot looked around, “They must be talking to me… Ok English.”
Scargot began to walk towards the Earthlings but got stopped after a few steps. “Just tell us who you are.” The same earthling said. Scargot stopped and took a step back. “My name is Scargot, I am from planet Namek.” The earthlings seemed to lower their guard after hearing this, “Namek? I have never heard of Namek. What are you doing here?” This man seemed to be the leader as he was the only one talking to Scargot. “I am here to find the Guardian of Earth, I want to take his position.” Suddenly a small explosion came from a weapon one of the men had Scargot watch and grabbed the small rock like thing that came out of it.
“What is this?” Scargot said holding up the bullet. The Earthlings seemed to raise their guard again and the leader began to speak again. “Sorry, please don’t hurt us! That is a bullet; he didn’t mean to shoot you. Please just be on your way and everything will be ok.” Scargot was now confused but didn’t want to be kept from his mission any longer. Turning around Scargot studied the bullet that he caught from the weapon. “To think that a place so beautiful could have such tools of destruction” Scargot figured that there was nothing left for him to do here and knowing was going to tell him where the Guardian of the Earth resides so he took off into their air again.
During his flight Scargot noticed many amazing landmarks and beautiful scenery; still he couldn’t sense any giant power levels yet. Feeling as though he had arrived at the perfect time, with power levels not being so big he can learn to protect the Earth and grow with the power levels. After flying around the Earth for a while he noticed something, a tall tower it seemed to be largely out of place and different to most the other landmarks so he took a chance. Flying up to the tower he then flew straight up until he reached the top, the tower was incredibly tall and seemed to have been built hundreds of years ago. The higher the tower went the more assured Scargot got that this was where the Guardian of Earth Lived.
Finally reaching the top of the tower he landed on the circle type lookout, looking off the platform Scargot could feel all the power levels from everyone in the world. Some of the power levels were horrifyingly high; Scargot began to walk up to the lone building that sat on top of the look out. “I wonder if anyone is here.” Scargot said walking up the two steps and peering into the door of the building.
