Rolling around at the speed of sound, the lad had nowhere to go and nowhere to towards besides home, as he had circled the entirety of the forest for the nth time. Yet even as he looped back around to the borders of the city once more, his only stitched socket threatening to give out from the sheer speed of it all, Nabel could find no sign of the universe's strongest Earthling. He couldn't find the pot of gold at the end of that allegorical rainbow, no matter how hard he had tried. What lied ahead was obvious, but it was not the great dojo that he had remembered visiting those many months ago. With a gravelly groan, the demon crashed towards the forest clearing, cracking the grass and dirt beneath him as he landed. He was at his wit's end, as he forced himself to recall the details of his encounter. He hated this. He hated how his chemical dependences made him forget important details. Blast him and his alcohol addiction! He couldn't make heads or tails of the situation, and that frustrated him to no end. Holding up his only arm, and running a twisted finger around his hairless brows, the boy began to think. The memory began replaying through his mind once more, and a single, muddied tear dropped from the boy's remaining eye. There were trees in that forest, as opposed to oversized bamboo shoots. He was meant to find actual, fully sized threes. Nabel pricked his cheeks in realization, much like the child that he was, and purple blood oozed out of the wound. Not only was he in the wrong forest, he was on the god forsaken end of the planet. With a loud roar of anger, the evil essences that made up the teenager's very being flared in frustration. His power level shot up with a sudden jolt, as high-pitched wail echoed throughout his little subsection of the forest. That was pure malice shooting out of his system, and into the air around him. Yikes. "Screw this!"He stomped hard on the forest floor, chunks of the ground flying into the air as ground dust, as the boy stormed towards the thicket like an angry kindergartner. "I'm cooling off and selling lemonade!" Wait. What?
In a matter of minutes, a fully stocked lemonade stand stood in the center of the forest. Though the structure itself was cheaply made from excess bamboo, it still served its purpose without looking too out of place. At least, it wouldn't have looked out of plays had it been built outside of the forest. With a cold cooler beneath the counter, and disposable cups on top of it, the boy wondered why something felt wrong. "I should've gone back to the city first..." He sighed. Once again, the malevolent forces that made up the boy's being reared their ugly heads. Unlike earlier, however, Nabel was just tired. He wasn't even sure how he'd built a lemonade stand so fast yet, and he was already contemplating on giving it up. "At least I still have my stand." He grumbled, just as an excess surge of ki exited his tiny frame, and shot directly towards his stand. The bamboo caught on fire, quickly incinerating into a pile of soot and smoke. There was nothing left of it. So instead the boy let his power-up cool down, and sat on the ground, crying like a baby. And he definitely still looked and sounded like a baby. A hideously deformed mutant baby, but a baby nonetheless.

Jormungandr wandered through the bamboo forest, yawning. Nothing interesting was happening at the moment, so she'd decided to take a walk in a place she found relaxing. She frowned as the sound of crying suddenly came from the forest to her left. She looked in that direction, tilting her head curiously, for several moments before walking towards the sound. "Hello?" the serpent called, before she realized she could sense an energy signature ahead of her - one stronger than her, and decidedly demonic. "Oh, joy..." she muttered, still walking. She soon came into view of the boy, and the sight pulled her up short. That was the powerful demon she'd sensed? she stared briefly before shaking her head and approaching the child. "hello...?" she said quietly. "What's wrong?" The fiend was feeling unusually compassionate today - perhaps her recent good fortune had caused it, she mused. Whatever the case, there had been a time when she never would have showed kindness to any other being - she would've instead shown contempt for those who were weaker, grudging respect for those as strong as her, and fear towards those who were stronger.

Nabel's groveling cries were interrupted by the entrance of the surprisingly strong snake lady. Upon being greeted by the woman, the boy looked up at her, as he slowly ceased his whimpering. Wiping off the tainted ooze dripping down his cheeks, the child swallowed down the rest of his tears, and let go of the cooler that he had been clutching. "Hi." He said in the tiniest of voices, as he attempted to compose himself. With a little 'Oof!' of effort, the much younger demon pushed away the metal box, and pointed at it. "I accidentally set my lemonade stand on fire and it's gone now..." He frowned, crossing his single arm across his waist, as his right stump seemed to mimic the motion. One had to imagine that the gesture would be complete if the deformed child had a complete set of appendages. Though even in his stripped-down shape, with a figure seemingly only held together by the infected stitches scattered across his body, the boy was still clearly upset. "And- I got lost and ended up on the other side of the planet." He continued, though his sadness and frustration seemed to have been reduced as he spoke. It seemed like letting it all out in a calm and collected fashion improved his mood. Who would have guessed? "I was supposed to go to the Serpent School." He pouted, allowing his curious eye to wander towards the woman's direction. "I wanted to train-fight with Bing."For some reason, Nabel completely trusted her. Perhaps he just felt safer around a fellow demon. "Thanks for listening. I feel a little good-er now." He nodded gratefully, before tilting his head. "Are you from here?" Jormungandr It's alright! I got busy today anyways, so i don't mind. I apologize for the delay as welll

The demoness nodded slowly, not sure what to do - she wasn't exactly an expert when it came to childcare, in addition to being bad with people. Anything she did could just as easily make things worse as make the kid feel better, but she had to at least try. Luckily, just talking seemed to improve the child's mood. She sat down next to the boy, figuring it might help her seem more friendly, though the child had evidently already decided she was trustworthy.
The fiendish ophidian shook her head in response to Nabel's inquiry. "not really. I'm not really from anywhere at this point. I just wander around. What about you?"
After a few seconds, Jormungandr stood up, extending a hand to the younger demon to help them up. "I'm Jormungandr, by the way. What's your name?"

OOC Notes: Too late, Jormungandr will now always be snek mom in my eyes. Oh- OH- she's now Jor mumgandr
Nabel tilted his head a little at the woman's questions. Though he had expected to treat him kinder than most, as she was cut from the same corrupted cloth as the boy, he didn't expect her to humor him so much. That made him happy. "It's nice to meet you Jormungandr!" He beamed brightly. "I'm Nabel." And while the rest of his expressions ranged from uneasy to terrifying, the way his stitched lips curled into a rough approximation of a kitten's sly smile would be an oddly aesthetically pleasing gesture to most humans. Grotesquely cute might not have been what he was going for, but it was certainly what the child had delivered on occasions. Thankfully, he didn't seem to be too concerned about this, as he returned to wearing a face more fit for a demon, as he opened the ice chest beside him. "You want some?" He tilted his head, as he reached out two tiny cardboard boxes of orange juice from the cooler (which were no doubt what he planned to drink in between selling the large bottles of lemonade buried within the box.), holding the, between his single hand's fingers. With that being done, he returned to the woman's questions, as wave of malevolent energy surged into the area. The air became dense with tainted energy, one that Jormungandr would be very familiar with, as she most likely bore a similar Ki signature. An arm suddenly emerged from the ground, disconnected with no source in sight. The boy seemed to have summoned it for the sole purpose of pulling out a tiny tot of whiskey from his pants' pockets. (Though the canteen's fluids wouldn't be known until he opened it, which he didn't.) The arm disappeared, along with demonic aura, as the boy smiled once more. "Oh, I'm from Hell. I was born there." He said matter-of-factly, nodding along as he continued to hold out a juice box for the woman. "But I live in East Capitol with this Vampyre lady!" He nodded, as he thought of a way to extend the conversation. "Do you like fighting, Jormungandr? You seem pretty strong!"

Jormungandr smiled at the child's evident happiness. "It's nice to meet you too, Nabel." she said. He seemed like a good kid, she mused, which was really rather surprising considering his demonic nature.
"oh! yes, thank you" she replied to his offer, taking one of the juice-boxes and shivering slightly as she felt the fiendish child's energy surge.
"born in hell, you say..." she murmured to herself, before raising her voice so he could hear. "I hope this woman takes good care of you. And yes, I do enjoy fighting. Thank you."

OOC Notes: It's coool! I don't mind. | Jormungandr
The boy continued to smile sweetly, as he gingerly handled his fellow demon the box of juice. He appreciated the 'Thank you', as his line of work didn't generally allow him to interact with the modest and humble crowd. So it was a bit of a relief meeting someone like the snake lady. Though he didn't quite hear what woman the woman said after that, Nabel was sure that it was also something kind. After all, Jormungandr seemed to be super nice, and he liked her already. "Don't worry 'bout me. I wouldn't be around without her. She's really nice!" Nabel nodded, assuring her of his well-being. He didn't quite delve into the messy implications of his companionship with Amy, as those were details for a less happy time. So instead he kept up the cheery expression and moved on, not yet touching the flask of whiskey. That could wait. He didn't want to get drunk while in the middle of a nice conversation like this. "Like you!" The boy continued with a giggle, though his words were honest enough. "What's your home like, Jormungandr?" He asked with a curious look. "And yay! You like fighting- we could spar and stuff sometime!

The ophidian sipped idly from the juice box as she listened to the child. "that's good." she said, smiling again. She blinked as the child complimented her - she wasn't used to people having positive opinions of her.
She thought for a moment before answering his question. "My home... well, where I was born, was not a pleasant place. The city I spend the most time in now is nice enough, though I don't talk to people, generally, so I don't really know."
His next remark made the demoness chuckle - the thought of fighting this child seemed slightly ridiculous. But he was stronger than her... "that sounds like an excellent idea"

Jormungandr It's fine! I like it.
Nabel nodded empathetically at the woman's words, slowly taking a sip of his own juice. He could understand why Jormungandr wouldn't want to shed too much light on the situation, especially considering how she was essentially talking to a child. Nabel himself didn't like talking about his experiences in Hell much either. Doing so would bring back far too many unpleasant memories for him to count, and he just did not wish to deal with that kind of stress anymore. Wherever the snake lady was from, the boy was at least a little certain that she viewed the topic in the same light. They were both demons, after all. So how else could she have been treated? "I'm glad that you moved away then." He spoke with utter sincerity, before smiling sweetly. With a little shake of juice box, he paused for a moment, still looking up at her with the kind of exuberant curiosity that only a child could produce. It seemed like the boy wanted to ask more about the woman, but could not think of a subject for the life of him. After several key seconds, however, he giggled once more. "What city do you live in now?" He asked, eye twinkling with excitement. "We can hang out sometime! For juice and fighting and whatever else you like doing!"

The demoness decided that she'd have to talk to this kid more. They seemed nice. "Me too, Nabel. though it wasn't my decision - got yanked here against my will. Not that I mind, at this point." she told the boy. She saw no need to mention the fact that, when she arrived, she was a vile, cold-hearted killer.
"I live in West Capitol" she informed him. "It's a nice place. Warm too. It'd be great if you stopped by some time." she said, grinning. "If you don't mind, I'll be heading back there now. You wanna come?"
