Cloud was annoyed he had to make up more lies, but he considered what was happening. The arcosian was on to him. The arcosian even knew Cloud was hiding something. Cloud barely knew anything about Ginger Town besides it's name so if he kept lying he'd be bound to tell misinformation and get caught. Now, Cloud wasn't the smartest person in the universe so it took a long time for him to say a lie that wouldn't be suspicious or misinformation about Ginger Town. "Not really sure, my friends just told me to come there today, maybe they want me....to....uhhh....train them?" Cloud said to both the girl and arcosian.
Cloud, possibly the most arrogant person on the Earth, even knew HE was suspicious. But he knew the two in front of him were too innocent to kill him and will possibly let him go. But then, a thought came into his head. Why was he lying to the arcosian and girl to be on their good side? Why was he even afraid of the arcosian? Then, Cloud's arrogance came into play... He won lots of fights in the past, heck, even most of them! Who says he couldn't beat the arcosian as well? The things he heard from people about how strong arcosians are must be exaggerated. He had to find out if he was stronger than the arcosian. But, he KNEW he was stronger, at least his big head told him so..
"But, before I leave...You mind fighting me? Trust me I'm quite strong..Even just a little." Cloud was quite excited to know he was possibly stronger than an arcosian. He intends to defeat the arcosian, and he WILL.

Gira nodded along as Verst explained his plans. Some well-placed ki blasts would do well to make the cavern larger. Gira could handle that well enough. As for the "advertising" part... the half-Saiyan wasn't the best person for that job if she was being perfectly honest with herself. Gira was pretty passive for the most part, so public relations wasn't in the cards for her as a career choice. The teen half-Saiyan raised an eyebrow as Cloud continued with his lie. Now something seemed off to her. The second part of the lie seemed a little half-assed. Even Gira was catching on. None of that mattered, however, when Cloud mentioned fighting. That activity was the hybrid's favorite. It seemed he was challenging the Arcosian, but Gira couldn't let a fight go on without trying to butt into it.
"Hey, if you guys are gonna fight, mind if I join in? No offense, Cloud, but you're gonna need someone to help even the odds. I don't know if you can feel this guy's power, but it's quite a bit bigger than yours. Not to say you're weak or anything like that. He's just stronger." Gira grinned awkwardly and scratched the back of her head. "He's stronger than me too while I have this weighted gi on." She tugged at her collar as she mentioned this. Gira hoped she could get in on some action. It had been far too long since she got to let loose and have a good, fun fight. She never faced an Arcosian in battle before and the very thought simply thrilled her.

"You two against me. If I win Cloud helps for at least clearing out the cave phase, If I lose I owe you two a favor. Seem fair?" Verst said confidently, he started to crack his knuckles, he rolled his head around admiring his own neck clicks. He started to channel his ki, a pale blue aura started appearing around him, blue electricity shot between his joints. "Gira let Cloud have a go first, he wants to learn so let him." He smirked towards Cloud. "You get one hit free, It's only fair seeing as though she says your weaker than me." Verst was trying to get in his head, he knew what it was like to be in his position so clueless thinking your the best, but humility cures that quickly.
Verst stood, arms folded and locked eyes with Cloud, issuing him the challenge.

Cloud wasn't surprised that the girl told him the arcosian was stronger.. He's got that many times but always won, except for certain incidents.. But he was sure this was not one of them. He honestly didn't mind the girl helping him even if she was human or saiyan as he was sure he'd do most of the work. Cloud also responded, "No, i can't sense energy but I'm sure I can take him on. Just watch me."
"The challenge seems fair to me." Cloud began smirking at how the arcosian was leaving himself open. And people call him cocky. The arcosian was underestimating him big time and that was a big mistake, Cloud didn't know if that was true or just his head speaking but he was gonna believe it. He dashed fowards the arcosian, swiftly moving to the left, crouching, then unleashing an upward punch. The move may seem cliche but the arcosian seemed to be open so Cloud was hoping it could work.

"Yes!"
Gira pumped her fist in the air as Verst agreed to let her in on their spar. It seemed she would have to wait a second, though. He was going to give Cloud a free shot. The boy seemed more than a little confident. Gira could respect confidence, but the amount of power that the Arcosian possessed was insurmountable. Even Gira knew when she was outmatched... most of the time. While Cloud prepared to give Verst his first shot, the hybrid decided to expand their battleground. This cavern was quite large, but it wasn't large enough for her taste. Gira preferred a wide open space for her battles. Walking further towards the back of the cave, gira put both of her arms out to the side. A mass of yellow ki formed in each of her hands before the teen launched them at the left and right sides of the cavern wall.
A series of explosions were punctuated by loud rumbles as Gira fired blast after blast at the walls, bringing her arms to the front slowly as her attacks shaped the cavern into a more suitable battleground. She doubled the size of the cavern in seconds. Gira turned back to her two new acquaintances just in time to see Cloud go for his first attack. It was a predictable move. The Arcosian was going to give him a free shot, though, so it would probably work well enough.

Back in his early days Verst would have done the same thing. However Verst had learned over the years that cliche's never work, and it's time to pass on that lesson.
Cloud's hit connected with nothing but air, as a blur was left behind in the shape of Verst, from behind Cloud he could hear Verst whisper "Nice try..." in a mocking and knowing tone, Verst was mildly distracted by the blasting behind him as Gira expanded the cave. "Gira thanks for the work, but I think He might need some help"
His attention snapped back to Cloud as he attempted to strike him with a push kick to his kidneys. [SU] Afterimage used, KP 2/3

"W-What?" Cloud was too shocked to dodge Verst's attack and got punched in the kidney. Cloud felt the knuckles and, course, extreme pain. It burned inside and felt sore but he quickly dashed back and retreated at the end of the cave. Ever since he'd been exploring, Cloud had multiple fights all of which ended up with him being predictable and beaten. He had to think of something else to do, something....something... That's it!
Before he could put his plan in action he looked back at the girl expanding the cave, "Don't try helping me! I'm taking him on myself!" Cloud dashed towards the arcosian seemingly trying to punch him, but jumped and laid his hands on the arcosian, bouncing off it, turning around, then made an attempt to grab the tail. So, this was Cloud's "glorious" plan. Cloud wasn't sure if he was using his head or just using another cliche move but he was still gonna carry out his plan since he had confidence in it.
That and his brain was too small to think of anything else...

Gira nodded when Verst suggested she assist the young hybrid. She stood at the ready, prepared to jump in and help. Then, Cloud told her not to bother. That Verst was his opponent. Gira blinked and thought for a moment. Normally, she would just ignore the comment and rush in, but this presented an opportunity. Cloud could have his battle. For now, anyway. In the meantime, the half-Saiyan decided that she would charge up her Dragon Barrage and attempt to get the upper hand. Hopefully, Cloud would be able to provide a distraction. "Okay, Cloud! I'll give you... "
She thought about how long it would take her to charge up the energy required to put a dent in their opponent. "...a minute. After that, though, i'm gonna join in." She smirked. "Can't let you have all the fun, after all." Gira took a deep breath, planting her feet firmly in the cold stone. The teen began to gather energy. She was going to go all out in this fight. She'd keep her weights on, though. She wanted to get the most out of this spar. As her energy began to spike, Gira brought her hands to her chest, holding her palms so that they were facing each other.
Blue wisps of energy came from her form, lapping at the air around her. "Hmmm..." Gira closed her eyes, increasing her focus while keeping her sixth sense active to feel out the two powers that were duking it out. Gira felt the excitement rising in her gut, but focused on charging her attack. She'd get her turn. For now, Cloud needed to experience for himself how powerful Verst was. Gira learned very quickly that pain was the greatest teacher when it came to fighting.

Verst admired the bravado of Cloud as he came at him again whilst bragging, he launched himself over Verst and attempted to grab his tail, he mentally sighed. People forget the tail is very controllable, as Cloud reached for it the tail snatched itself away and aimed to make a swipe at his face.
Verst hadn't forgotten Gira however, she had begun charging an attack, this might hurt him so he turns and launches an attack of dark purple, a Death Beam from the tip of his finger

As the arcosian's tail grew closer to hitting Cloud's cheek, he managed to duck just in time. And by duck, he meant his hand slipped on the ice causing him to trip over, pure luck. Convenient thought Cloud. He was tempted to grab at the tail but it would just dodge again, he also noticed the girl was charging an attack. Great, she still ended up fighting spite what I said! thought Cloud.
Though he saw an opportunity since the arcosian was launching his beam attack towards the girl, he could launch an attack at the arcosian's back as he was focusing on the girl. Cloud began launching his attack with all his hidden potential, there wasn't enough time to charge so he had to do it immediately.
He soon launched the attack right beneath the arcosian's back, he was incredibly close to the arcosian so he hoped he wouldn't dodge. "Lightning Cannon!"

(PL: 46,673. Heavy Weights on: 11668) ---------- The cold. The cold had never been friendly in the past to Chikara and he had shared the same sentiment towards it. And so with that being said, the Frozen North had never really been a place that the Heran liked to visit, indeed it was instead one which he wholly avoided whenever he could. Today was meant to be an ordinarily boring day, however for the warrior things would be different as he was so rudely disturbed by a noise off in the distance. His ship had moved around recently, looking for a more suitable spot and so now it was close enough to the Frozen North that he could hear this distraction.
“What the bloody Hell is going on? What kind of fool is making such a racket out if the middle of nowhere?” Chikara had tried his hardest to avoid venturing into the cold however he would never be able to live with himself if he were to pass up the opportunity to investigate something potentially worthwhile. With that in mind he decided to fly his whole ship over to the glacial mount as he would not dare step outside in the weather until he knew exactly that he needed to. He took off at a blazing speed and soon found what he was looking for.
Looking down he was able to see some sort of creature in the ice, however he was far too out in order to make out what it really was. He decided to store his ship off somewhere that it wouldn’t be found and flew off into a hidden spot to get a better look. He was now in a decent vantage point and was able to get his eyes on a creature he had never seen before. The species was a strange white and purple color mostly, with a tail as well. It was a decent size and rather intimidating; not that Chikara was scared though. It’s power was certainly something to take note of though.
He thought about going over and inquiring as to who this person was, however before he could another person decided to tag along and introduce themselves first. It was girl, named Gira. Chikara couldn’t quite tell what race she was, but what he did notice was that her power was another one which could pose a threat. They exchanged a few words and the creature, named Verst, told her that he was building his base in this region. A truly mad man to want to live out here though Chikara, but then again maybe that was just the way of his people. He was open in his threat of violence though, which was rather strange.
Once again before Chikara could find himself stepping in, the girl responded and a conversation began. He sat still and tried to listen on what they were saying. Then suddenly the creature spoke quickly, and it seemed to have noticed Chikara. But before he stepped out to reveal himself another walked forward. Another unknown species, claiming to be just a traveller. The girl walked over to him inquired as to what he was doing, and Chikara continued to stand back and listen. He walked a bit back however, and to try and hand himself from the all encompassing mind of the mysterious alien.
Strangely enough it seemed as if the alien was rather friendly towards the two, which is not what Chikara expected from the foul looking creature. He welcomed the traveller into his area and did not threaten him with a fight as he had expected. In fact all three of them seemed to be rather friendly with each other, with Gira taking up Verst on his offer of help. Cloud on the other hand was not on the same page, and tried to get out of the place, however Verst immediately started interrogating the poor boy. “Oh, this could get ugly, better be prepared.”
And with that, the plans to help each other out apparently faded away as Cloud and Gira were now trying to get into a fight with the alien. “What the Hell are these idiots doing? Are they friends or not? Make up your mind!” It wasn’t long until Verst gave his answer. He wins and Cloud has to help him, which seemed fair. The two engaged in a duel as Gira stood back and prepared to join herself. This was the opportunity that Chikara had been waiting for. He rushed out of the hiding spot and flew full speed towards Verst with knee aimed at his back. “Sneak attack!”

Gira continued to gather energy as the battle between Verst and Cloud continued. As her energy rose even further, eight points of light formed in a circle behind her. In mere seconds, they each formed to about the size of a softball. Gira had intended to spend the next fifteen seconds or so pouring more energy into her attack, but it seemed she would not get the chance. Gira felt a massive spike in Verst's power as he fired an attack of his own at the hybrid. This presented an opportunity though. Cloud's power suddenly rose exponentially, taking the hybrid by surprise.
In response to Verst's attack, he let out one of his own. Gira's Saiyan battle instincts tingled. It was finally the right moment. 'Now!' Gira's eyes flew open and she thrust her palms forward with a ferocious battle cry, aiming the attack directly at Verst. At her command, the eight tight bundles of ki flew at her opponent from all directions as Gira brought up her guard to defend against the rapidly approaching beam of violet energy. Normally, she might have been able to dodge or even shrug off such an attack, but her weights made fighting much more difficult. Her best bet was to try and tank the blow. The beam of energy collided with the girl's guard, the force of the blow knocking her off balance and sending her to the floor on her ass.
She had an incredibly painful scorch mark on her arm where she took the Death Beam, but she was otherwise okay. At that time, another challenger arrived on the scene to join their little impromptu training session. It was clear that he was on their side from his sneak attack on Verst. Gira reached out with her sixth sense and felt his power to discover it was near her own since she had her weights on. The Arcosian now had three opponents of respectable power to deal with. It appeared Verst might be in trouble. Gira considered the idea of switching sides to make things more fair, but she decided to see how the battle would go first. She was more than a little curious to see how this Changeling could handle himself when he was outnumbered.
Gira stood up and waited for the battle to continue, breathing heavily. That attack took a lot out of her.

Verst's blast: 15442 vs 9240 + 20932 = 14730 through to Verst
There was a moment of pure focus as 3 attacks came towards Verst, the new competitor jumping into a diving knee two ki attacks blasting towards him he closed his eyes, and slowly focused. He walked past a small gallery of his forms in his mind, glancing to his true form, he disregarded it for now he saw a tall brute with rippling muscles and horns the size of short swords, then he saw the last form in his collection, it was a true monster, and what he needed was a monster, this thing was 2ft taller than him, the tail a foot longer along with his cranium.
He smiled, he thought. Yes. NEW PL:185304
In the cave now he screamed "YESSSSS!" As the attacks all hit him, the wave of attacks were painful but they drove him to become stronger as his form expanded and contorted in the smoke. He began laughing loudly as his new form is revealed from behind the cloud. The Heran connects as a kick is sent her way in reaction and towards Cloud he sent his tail once again. Then he rushed towards Gira.

"Shit!" As the arcosian transformed, into...something..Cloud braced for impact but his tail still swept him away. Cloud knew arcosians could transform, but he never saw one actually do it! Just how much stronger was he? He looked on as the arcosian rushed for the girl. Cloud also noticed the new person here.
Great! Another random person to get in the way of MY FIGHT! thought Cloud. But, then again, if it wasn't for both of them the arcosian would've surely defeated him already. He owed them. As hard as it was, Cloud had to accept he needed them to defeat the monster that is the arcosian in front of him. "You! Distract the arcosian before he reaches the Gira!" His arrogance and confidence both were being crushed, he had to rely on a random girl and alien!
Cloud regained his balance and flew closer to the arcosian. He was weakened quite a bit and he was about to use a technique that would basically do nothing but annoy the arcosian. He was as good as a distraction...and that realization hit Cloud hard. Tch, whatever! I may not be strong enough or compare at all but I'm still going to fight! thought Cloud. Once he was close enough, Cloud began using another technique, causing wind to blow everywhere. "Lightning Canon!" The beam shot foward towards the arcosian, Cloud hoped the alien would do the same and shoot something at all.

Though the element of surprise was usually a strong asset, it seems that shouting about your arrival diminishes its usefulness. The knee of Chikara found it’s mark but it had little to no affect on the creature. While the Heran was flying through the air the alien had transformed it a new and far more hideous form. Chikara had seen this form before, which told Chikara that this creature was in fact an Arcosian, or Changeling as some would call them. Unfortunately this new form brought with it a great power increase which completely changed the tone of the battle. After his connect, the Arcosian launched his own strike back at him.
The kick connected into the gut of Chikara and pushed him back, flying into the icy wall behind him. He slowly slid down the wall and took a second to gather himself and examine the situation. The girl, Gira, had now joined in the fight as well, against the Arcosian, though he wasn’t sure how much help she would be now that the thing had transformed. Chikara predicted that with his weights on he was outmatched in power by more than ten to one, and that without his transformation he would be little more than a nuisance to the Changeling, but even with it he would still but far too weak to really pose a threat.
Was pulling out his transformation worth it right now? Chikara only joined in on the fight because… Well he didn’t really have much of a reason. He was bored and needed something to help entertain himself and so he choose this. But he had no idea that this creature had so much power hidden within himself. A fair fight was what he was after and so perhaps this was a mistake. But at the same time if he truly wanted to have his say in the universe then he would need experience when dealing with creatures of such magnitude, and getting one in this kind of safe environment was an opportunity he wasn’t ready to give up.
Chikara got into his battle pose, which his knees slightly bent and his arms towards his side. He slowly gathered his Ki and his power began to rise as the power of his battle spirit flowed through him. His hair stood up and his muscles puffed out a bit, but the important change in his power. Now four times the power he was before, perhaps he would pose a bit more of a threat to the Arcosian. But before he could actually launch such an attack, there was something very insulting that he would have to take care of first.
The boy, one he could crush without much trouble gave him an order. Chikara quickly turned his attention to the mere child and laughed when he heard what he had to say. “Me, you want me to distract him? I’m afraid I don’t take orders from people that need a babysitter, or that I could crush like a bug. And If you don’t believe me, how about I show you such power?” Chikara would turn his focus back to the Changeling once he had dealt with this insult. He cupped his hands behind his body and then an energy wave at the boy. ---------- Transformation Battle Spirit: New PL = 46673
