Alrighty, so this is something I have been wondering a really long time, but now am actually making a thread for. I have been noticing that whenever someone gets bored of Heaven due to inactivity or to RP with someone they want to, or whatever other reason, they decide to make the jump to Hell. Now I want to know, is that an actual function? It isn't written down or anything, and frankly I don't see why it would even be allowed.
Firstly, I believe that Heaven players going down into Hell is one of the reasons that Heaven isn't as active as Hell in the first place, and it is a cycle that shows. Basically someone in Heaven believes that the place is inactive, so they jump down, then the next person that shows up in Heaven thinks the exact same thing and jumps down. There can't be activity if no one lets the activity build up before they go elsewhere entirely.
Secondly, this would be really unfair to Ogres and Ghosts, who are restricted regarding AL travel. They have to buy an item to go from Heaven to Hell, and even from Hell to Heaven. If not even AL's defenders and regular residents can just jump down, then why is someone who just died able to do so?
Finally, it undermines the judgement of Heaven or Hell. Yemma just judged a person and sent them to Heaven, so why is it that said person can waltz down to somewhere they weren't sent too? Sure they can use the "I slipped" reasoning, but wouldn't there be Ogres hovering around the area that separate the two places? They surely wouldn't let anyone end up going somewhere they aren't supposed to be.
In conclusion, I personally don't like this Heaven Jumping idea. Members can voice their opinions on the matter below and staff can tell us if this is even allowed in the first place below as well. If not, there should be some action against those that attempt to do so. I would say grandfather clause to those that have, but hey, Yemma ICly sending the dead back to where they belong isn't far fetched either, so staff's choice on that one.
