PL: 250,000 Set: 100 Durian The last few days had been testing upon the Saiyan, he lounged as the occurrences of the world swept beyond him and with regard to the wooden ceiling of his abode; Levlidian furrowed his brow. Beyond the walls, evening had settled in and the crickets sounded much to the displeasure of him. He hated crickets, such an oddly symphonic way to the ridges of a migraine, however something more bothered him today and a slow close of his eyes soon saw him tilt his head to the Kagami rested against him. Such beautiful hair, he betrayed a short smile finally able to blanket the noise of twilight with her presence alone. They rested about their sofa, staring into the dance and entwine of the flames whilst he reflected on a time past, that man from the BBA had only arisen to elaborate facts and the Saiyan's response had been to threaten to crack open his skull. true enough, the Saiyan way was hardly a surprise for him to begin with; but hadn't he promised to get better at that? Opening his free palm and peering to it he'd then encircle his fingers and betray a crack from the forge boulder of bone and sinew, this power he had, it was making him careless and arrogant thus undoing everything he'd done in the last few months, everything Hinawa had managed to begin. Releasing the ample sized fist and drawing down into a slope, Levlidian soon bound that limb about his 'Wife' and pressed his nose unto the crook of her throat to place a kiss. "I think I need to train with you more," he mused playfully, "After all who else can I use as a punching bag?". Their mockery of one another was common place and a strong part of who they were, Durian, his Kagami, the free slave she was a wise creature and Levlidian wasn't sure if it was the God inside or her own experiences that taught her such things. However, it hardly mattered on an evening like this. Her bastion courted her jaw a moment, fingertips drifting across her and the knitted brow lessened if only to see those rubies- eyes he could place himself in without much issue to the latter of his mind. "We leave for Namek in a few days, I'm not sure whether to bring Takeshii with us or not. I know I've been working with her a lot but-," he nodded a moment, "In truth I feel guilty, guilty that I left her behind and alone. I want to make up for everything I did. She and I were great friends once, we grew up together and played in the same trees-," his grin elaborated, a joke on his own behalf. "-I talk far too much, I know but a lot of the pain she has suffered was due to my own inability to use my foresight, I should have known her family would seek mine. Now she's trapped here like I was, Keshii came to find me to discover what had become of me and- well it seems she carries a bit of resentment for me,". Adjusting again he'd simply allow his cheek to settle against Durian's mane, taking in her scent and closing his eyes to simply bask in her beauty for a moment. Those memories that were all his own. "So about that training, I want to learn what makes you so calm, see if you can help me change just that little bit more. Are you up for a bit of gravity training my dear?". It had been a few days since he'd committed to any form of training with the woman; it was always fun and their banter only excited it further. If anything, as it stood, there was no one else Levlidian would need more than she if they faced an enemy on the battlefield. Such it was that he scalded himself inwardly and nuzzled the mane, he had to stop holding himself accountable, the past was where it would forever lay and onwards was the design but he awaited to hear what his mate had to say. "Maybe you'll win this time," his joyous grin bled about the Saiyan's lips and flexed against her hair.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Thoughts normally roamed the two beings’ minds within their home. Levlidian could be anywhere from a child-like happiness to an old man’s disappointment. What her mate muddled over now wasn’t of much concern to the Kagami. Not unless he voiced it. They had been growing as a pair. Being able to communicate and relay what they needed to get across to the other. The crickets weren’t something that bothered Durian. They also didn’t really ease her. They just existed. They were there and she would notice them if she needed to, or she’d drown them out because she didn’t. If they were silenced, she would notice. But if they would drone on, it was simply a sound. One that faded into the background. What brought her more peace and comfort was the one she was with. He had settled her mind and heart a small while ago, and being with him now was no less of a comfort.
It didn’t seem fitting for a Saiyan to have such a house. To have built it. To have a little fire in the middle of nowhere cuddled up with his mate. Yet, this was her Saiyan. And this is where the former slave found herself. Relaxed and at ease with the beast she had once hated. There was little on her mind that stressed her in the moment. Not that it was blank, but it was all miniscule. She was with Levlidian. They were in their home. Things were good. One didn’t get many times in life that things were just good.
The Kagami took note of him stretching and cracking his hand. Glancing to it with her reddened eyes. But she’d not comment. Not until he’d speak. If there was something on his mind he’d reveal it. The Kagami found herself chuckling instead of worrying. Her child of a man nestling himself into her neck, kissing her, and saying they had to train. Of course they did. How else might he get his aggressive energy out if not training with her or destroying the landscape?
“You could be a little harder on your Saiyan friend~”
The Kagami would return. She had no harsh feelings for Takeshii at this time, but it didn’t mean she wouldn’t mock both Saiyans in one blow. If Durian was a punching back, Takeshii could be one as well~ His touch was gentle and soothing, the darkness of his eye keeping her comforted as he stayed near. What he’d bring up next wasn’t one of the fondest thoughts she’d want to discuss, but she’d be lying if she said she hadn’t seen it coming. Takeshii coming with them to Namek. Selfishly, she wanted her to go nowhere near. It had been something they were going to do. Yet... Durian wouldn’t tell him no. Wouldn’t tell Takeshii no. She knew how important it was to both of them to get the female Saiyan settled. Durian couldn’t abandon the other female, not when the scars of being abandoned by others still stung from time to time.
“I think she really needs you. Ask her to come. If she agrees, we’ll all go together.”
It wasn’t overly happy, that would be plain to see. But she didn’t look distraught or aggravated either. Setting a hand upon his chest, she’d listen as he’d speak. Commenting on how he talked too much, yet not stopping. It brought a grin to her lips, but she’d wait and listen. It was important to him. She knew it was.
“I can’t say I want to take her. Or share your time with her. But I know you both need this. She needs something to cling to. You need to find peace with your past by settling the present. I won’t deny you that for a minute.”
Trying to be calming and soothing, the Kagami spoke. She was honest in her words, but she wanted him to know that her heart was there to help, as well as the rest of her. The topic would switch to training, which was fine by her. While she wasn’t a fighter at heart, Levlidian was a good one to pair with. His childish antics, yet aggressive and dangerous tactics kept her amused, at ease, and terrified. All within the same moments. At the very least, she could trust him. While she may be bruised or battered, he’d never end her. He further nuzzled himself into her, causing her to barely chuckle. It was like he didn’t even want to move. He wanted to train, but then he’d nestle closer to her. Daring her to ignore his offer to train.
“If I win, you should be disappointed in yourself~”
She’d tease, lightly tapping to his chest to let him know she’d get to her feet. Unraveling from him and their sofa, she’d sit up and then get herself standing. It wasn’t colder in the house, but it was without him close to her.
“I’ll tell you exactly how I can be so calm. And you’ll hate every bit of it.”
Flashing a grin, she’d beckon him towards his own ship. It had been ages since she’d been in a gravity chamber. Back then... Back with Hinawa and Emer.

As they'd rise from their poise together, Levlidian couldn't help but feel that bite of regret for asking yet he didn't desire to drop any further surprises upon her and their relationship. Whilst yes it bothered him that he'd been so callous before, careless with the emotions of his friend, the young Saiyan still didn't wish to cause a rift. Such a beautiful woman, kind hearted and gentle and yet here he was worrying about his problems when he'd scarcely asked hers. "I know you'd prefer it was just us, I'm working on that and Kesh wants her own place.
So it'll just be us again soon,". A comfort he knew his mate would thoroughly enjoy the notion of. Spending time with her, alluring one another with their open natures. This is what it was to have the relationship everyone conversed about. Constant communication, sharing, she'd never said a bad word against the female Saiyan. "I'll be harder on her," nodded to this and adjusted his jaw. The notion of such was hindered by him flaring a smile of encouragement, that her words hadn't missed their mark and the goof had agreed on more than respect, he agreed, with that his smile burst into one of complete amusement and towards her he'd come, after those lips for a lovers kiss. Even as they'd step into the crickets, a look of distaste appearing between the two of them, mirrors in some ways opposites in otehrs, in kind yet into the ship they'd hurry- traversing the halls again with him at his side though dressed this time; a childish grin appearing about her mates lips.
To the door he'd wander and part the steel from it's barrier, a short hiss sounded and he'd step inside and up to the panel that sequenced the beginning of their training. It was a spherical room, large and well designed to house any form of punishment- at least in theory. It was said that Capsule Corp. had some of the best steels for withstanding a Saiyan's wrath. Turning to the terminal whilst he awaited Durian, Levlidian began to enter the coding. Swift fingers danced about the board and denounced the belief he had ever been as short witted as he'd portrayed not as hard headed. As per the training he'd remembered her mentioning the exact amount she'd trained to, yet he turned with a knotted brow of curiosity. "to what amount did you train to with Emer?" he asked bluntly. Honestly he held no real issue with the man, he'd never met him but Hin' had sung his praises day in, day out. One might call it obsession, yet he did not; mostly out of respect for a former Master and the other because it involved a member of his beloved's race; "twenty wasn't it?". the glance back was also one of measure, the singular orb of obsidian studying her as he always did and every time he did another wicked grin emerged with a sunrise of adoration within his eye.
He thought on it a little more, the prospect of him spreading his time out, the concern he had only peppered him with further guilt, he showed this with a slightly deflated figure and he'd choose not to utter about it just yet. The pair were about to share in a little bonding and she'd already stated he elaborated far too much. yet, this was Lev', "I'll see how i feel about her coming before I ask," he added as an aversion to face the controller came about. This wasn't to evade a meeting of eyes but at the same time he couldn't deny it bothered him to leave teh Saiyan alone; paranoia gripped him at the thought of harm coming to his friend but perhaps he was over protective. Just as he did with Durian, but on an entirely different level, he'd just have to learn to trust the idiot to stay out of trouble. "If she did, I'll make sure she brings her own home when she gets it, give us space after the flight,".
These were small negotiations and ones she'd not requested. In the end and truth of things was that he'd bonded with this woman and now he was entering code to aid with their training as a team. already they knew each other so well, Lev' could name her abilities by heart and no doubt she could to and he'd even gained a care for the goddess within her. The soul had come to be an important part to him, a family member and he treasued that Durian had a noble entity such as she to guide her; he'd also find himself praying for that very entity before he slept. He had no idea if it worked, but, if it stood a chance of garnering a smile from the Kagami- it was worth the idiocy.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
I know, Lev.
The mental words would come to his short explanation about Kesh being a short term thing with them. Maybe not in the way that she wouldn’t be friends with Levlidian, but she wouldn’t be a permanent house guest. Durian understood. For both of them. Takeshii was struggling. Levlidian felt at fault. Both of them needed time to reconnect and heal. While Durian would much rather have the Saiyan man all to herself, she wasn’t about to be that selfish. He was hers. She was his. But as he had let her try to make amends with Kazar and anyone else who may have listened, she was going to let him deal with his shadows.
Levlidian said he’d be harder upon the Saiyan woman, to which Durian would crack a smile. Share the abuse with the Saiyan woman! It was more of a joke than anything. There were positives to the other Saiyan tiring Lev out. There were also negatives. Sharing him was a trying thing. But essential. He knew too many people and they constantly were popping up. Still, she took these moments when she could. Just him and her, even if they were going to train. It was still time spent with him. So with a brief kiss followed by being welcomed reluctantly into the evening of the world. They’d head to the ship. To his gravity chamber. It had been a small while since she trained in one, as said before. She wondered how much different it might feel after all these months.
Following him in, the swishing and moving of metal never something she welcomed. Into the room, she’d watch him meddle with his controls. He was much more at ease with things than she was. Pressing about and knowing his codes. Not an ounce of stress for technology or anything of the like. He was so odd. And refreshing. He asked how she could be so calm, yet here she was eyeing up his keyboard like it was a new terror or enemy. When he’d ask his question of her level, she’d give a brief nod.
“Didn’t surpass 20. That should have been our next step.”
Confirming the setting to him, she’d catch the glimpse of her mate. She rolled her eyes at him, though a smile would come to her lips. She loved him. Him and that stupid grin and all of his looks. He’d continue on with Takeshii, though she assumed the matter to be dropped. Durian was fine with her coming if she needed to. There was likely still parts of her that needed him. That would just be how it was. Durian wasn’t threatened and didn’t feel she should be. “Think it over. Maybe talk to her about it. I’ll be fine. I might covet your time a bit more~ But it won’t be the worst thing.” A grin upon her own face, she’d try to comfort him. It wasn’t all that bad of a thing. Takeshii coming or not would be fine. It just hadn’t been what she envisioned.
Keeping an eye upon her Saiyan, she’d await further instruction. But he was merely grinning like an idiot. She’d await weight to fall upon her shoulders in the form of gravity. Something she hadn’t felt altered much in her time on earth. Vegeta was ‘heavier.’ But she hadn’t been there in years. Emer had provided her with some, but that was long ago as well.
“So you wish to know what keeps me from lashing out as much as you do, love? What makes you think I’m calm?”
She spoke with a light grin, preparing herself and him for the bonding and training that was to come. Lowering her body slightly, flexing muscles gingerly and smally as to test to make sure she was in condition to fight her mate, she'd prepare. Wait. Gravity would befall her and she imagined hit her like a brick.

There had been no way that Durian could have been any more than understanding towards her mate, he wasn't sure why he had been so very nervous of the fact that he'd intend to ask his student to come with them, however it was a relief to hear his Kagami stand strong with her intentions to accept things. "Why don't you lash out? You at least seem calm" he was curious, more than that, he -had- to know as maybe it could help him with his fits of bursting rage. Levlidian was a Saiyan, rage was their calling card but in the wake of the last few months; Levlidian wanted to be better and less like his blood race. more like Durian.
Nodding, a sly smile looming still about his scarred features, he'd begin finishing the code. "After this, our next date night'll have to consist of that wine, the stars and a bit of a picnic," Lev' glanced about his shoulder. Though the eye that met her was for all intensive purposes dead, he could still feel Durian through her energy alone. "-in fact after this I'll give you a massage," and he'd press the button activating his machine.
The deep thrum of the machines interlaced in his spherical training center soon drew to life, from the ventricles about them to the tip of it everything seemed to grow in weight. Levlidian himself looked uneffected and even turned to wander closer to his mate as she herself prepared. "relax, take your self out of stance and breathe, we're adding more weight to everything about you and you'll need to regain your breathing first. Once your breathing normalises we'll start warming up, alright? I'm not sure how Emer trained you with Hinawa- but before we train under these conditions you need to be prepared,"
With the deep power of his Gravity chamber settling into fruition, Levlidian peered up and closed his eyes, his body seemed to grow heavier. The very biceps, his heart, the sinew interlocking his frame to create his lean figure, all of it flexed against the power of the room. Snarling he'd spread about his boots and he flexed against the ending of the cycle which sounded with a subtle boom. The machine aside them bleeped toward completion.
Exhaling loudly, the young Saiyan was already boasting a line of sweat from the effort of re-obtaining himself under the strength of the increased gravity. Flexing his fingers, writhing his legs and jogging on the spot- Levlidian soon fell into his stretches and began couching on one foot whilst full extending the other lower limb. "Warm up first, once you can tell me you're moving normally we'll start small, short exchanges then back off before we do one long one- see if we can't get you ready for wandering around on other planets,". he'd rise with his sudden eruption of energy and tuck his legs up to his backside then placed his heels to the steel as he came back down with a boom and a goofy grin.
Durian had always been a beautiful creature, he'd have to admit to an admirance of her once he'd stopped admiring her fighting style for the youthful creature was as naive as it came to women. The first thing he'd take note of, truly, was their stature. It was an important feature to him as a fighter; stature told you a lot about a persons basic technique. However this wasn't what he saw when he admired Durian, every niche of her form, the unblemished skin, her adorable little grin when she was being mischievous, no with Durian, Lev' was as well verse din her and attentive both visually and physically as he had ever been with anyone beyond the space whores.
A chuckle sounded and pulling his feet together, the beast fell about his palms from a standing position and began his usual pressups. It wasn't difficult for him, the expanse of his chest and back carrying his weight as if he himself was on Earth. Sure enough the resistance was there but he'd begun training at eighty times gravity not too long ago- a quarter of that was no trouble at all but it still boasted some significance to him. a silence fell about him and counting underwent as he'd motion in the same up and down sweep for a minute, maybe two. Then without pause he'd begin jumping and touching his knuckles before capturing his weight upon the steel with said palms opening flat again.
Eyeing his mate, he wasn't expectant of her to imitate him as she had her own methods, however, he did grant her a smile till he'd suddenly flip himself over into a somersault and adorn his back with the floor. Steadily, deliberately slowly ahe'd begin his sit ups. cross training the elbows of his hands that sat neatly behind his head and angling his legs as though he rode a bicycle, he'd negin touching his elbows about his knees and continued on preparing. A film of sweat had begun to develop gesturing a shine to his sun kissed flesh and yet he seemed focused on the execution. It had to be flawless, flawless or his muscle mass would distort over time as he'd be using some muscles more than others- he wasn't vain but no one wanted to see a man with one huge arm and one skinny one.
With the completion of his warm up, Lev' would rise and suddenly sprint on the spot for a few moments before lowering himself into his fighting stance, squatting, one fist tightened to his frame and the other extended like talons; he was prepared. "You remember what I was teaching you before sweet heart? To look beyond what you see, let that flow of energy flow from them and guide your natural ability to find it. The limbs themselves react better if your focus remains with energy rather than physical action. faster too,"

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
“There are two main reasons I lash out more minimally than you. And certainly less physically so.”
The Kagami smirked, shaking her head once again as she was preparing. Her last bout in a gravity chamber had cost her burns across her face. They healed well, barely a mark left, but it didn’t heal the memory. Meeting Hinawa and getting a blast to the face. A lessened blast... but one none the less. Her mate was far more jovial than how she knew Hinawa. At least... he was now. And she knew him better. It wasn’t a first meeting toe to toe. This was another day of precious time with one she cared for.
He'd look to her with a glassy eye, the Kagami still ready and waiting though happy to let him mess with the controls and spare her. When he spoke of their next date, she couldn’t help but smile and let a small laugh escape her lips. That would be nice. Just them. Not fighting. Relaxing and getting closer to one another in any way possible. The only goal, them.
“I’ll hold you to that, Saiyan.”
She spoke in return, almost mocking while also locking him into the deal. The date was a must, but mostly she was referring to the massage. After he would likely do her in, she’d at least get a brief reprieve. His hands on her without attempting to attack or block. Merely heal.
The sounds of the machine coming to work made Durian tense a bit. Regardless of it being safe and merely a training tool, she had a faint dislike of machinery. A distrust. When he would calmly walk to her, a confused eye would watch the approaching Saiyan. Was he planning on cheap shotting her or sneak attacking? That really wasn’t her mate’s style. So then what was he up to? The weight upon her body would take her gaze from him. Glancing down as she could feel the strain upon her muscles to merely stay as she had been building. It would all become clear once he talked. He wanted her to relax and get used to it
The confusion hadn’t left her expression. He just wanted to breathe and be calm? Not that she disagreed, but it was nowhere what she had expected. Attempting to shift her posture into a more normal and upright position for herself, she’d grunt against the weight that pressed against her. “Hinawa tried to burn my face off almost immediately.” Durian would state, no real irritation in the words but not a fond memory either. Hinawa had ditched her. Twice. Emer had vanished into nothing. And her greeting upon the useless fox would be fire to the face. Her eyes remained on her mate. He embraced the gravity around him. While it still didn’t amount to Vegeta, it seemed she had lost her ability to be used to the planet. Weakness coming back to her at every turn.
Mentally she’d give a sigh and shrug it off. She wasn’t as used to the machine as her partner was either. He knew when it was done. When it reached its peak. Her flexed and snarled along with the sounds of machine. A tad bit unsettling for her, but overall taken fine. It was Levlidian. He was her calm.
He’d stretch about and tell her to warm up as well. This allowed the woman to take her eyes off of him. Not that he was less interesting, but to focus upon her own movements. Flexing her fingers, opening and closing them into fists. Then moving into a more serene set of movements. One leg straightened and then brought up in front of her at a near ninety degrees, she’d stay balanced and poised upon her other foot. Slowly stretching down her arms over the length of her leg to touch at her toes. Holding, then resuming a straight posture. Pulling at the back of her thigh, leg still straightened, as she attempted to point her toes towards the ceiling. Moments of pause held where she stretched, she’d let her leg fall slowly and controlled back to the ground before switching limbs. Repeating the process with the other.
Making a ‘v’ with her legs at that completion, starting with her hips and spreading between the wide stance between her feet, she’d lean her body to one side. Touching her fingers to her toes from over her head. Then shift to the other after going in a wide half circle towards the ceiling and ending at the other foot. Moving through each movement, feeling the light pull in her muscles, testing her balance as she would switch from motion to motion. She had originally taken her eyes off of him, but in her movements closed them. She heard him chuckle. The light booms of him smacking about the floor with his boots. Skin hitting the floor when he’d begin his pressups. Durian could feel her body getting used to the weight. A vague reminder of where she was brought up. Her senses and body adjusting even as her partner worked himself to adjust.
The padding of his boots against the floor quickly would interrupt her mindset. A solace she had found behind closed eyes and movements locked onto herself and her goddess. Mitra remained silent, but the presence was felt. Her lover was a reminder of the Earth, but she paid him less mind. Until he spoke. The Kagami’s eyes snapping to him with fierce red gaze. Not angry, but pinpointed. He was ready and waiting. She must shift too.
Tall, but bent somewhat at the knees, she could easily shift her weight in a light bounce. Her left hip faced more forward, left arm in front of said hip and more down in comparison to its partner. Her right shoulder was back, though with her arm up, curved at ninety, and her hand just below her face in height. The Saiyan spoke to her. Reminded her of what he had been teaching.
“I’ve been following your energy since the North, love. I’ll just have to fine tune it.”
The pet name was stressed as if to point fun at him. A small grin upon her lips as she focused upon him. She would answer what he said about being calm. But first. The short exchanges he had spoken of.

"I hope you will," he chimed as she'd note her wish for him to keep his end of said bargain, it was a pleasent thought, her and he sharing a meal beneath the stars. Perhaps it would be here, perhaps Namek, Levlidian himself didn't care he only knew that he and his partner deserved some time that wasn't catered to his desire to prepare her and not only that- just to fight in general. It had hit him lately that even as they'd arranged the ship and rested at home taking part in measurably fun deposits of time together; he'd never actually treated her to something romantic. Within the depth os the spherical sphere, that twang of guilt resurfaced and he reflected it with a bowed brow, adjusting his jaw in kind to the doubled realisation. What kind of Husband was he to do only what he desired? Selfish but it was easily rectified and Durian had always been so willing to please him. Not to say she was a slave, especially not now but that state of mind when it surfaced, it bothered him because as a Saiyan he'd taken advantage and fought with her each time; did that make him no better than her former masters? Of course he was better but did she think that?
"Fine tuning it will be simple, we'll do a few rounds, simple exchanges and then I'm going to come at you far slower, you need to close your eyes at this point and we'll work on your sensing skills when in combat. I'll speed this up as time goes on until you learn to match my signature with yours- gain better control. It'll be fun I promise, I may even teach you one of my long range techniques," that toothy, broad smile of a child returned flanked with the sparkle of his deep, obsidian orb. She was beautiful, even in this stance, prepared to fight with a ferocity he could only describe as perfection to him in combat; Durian really was his woman made in heaven- or Hell depending on her temperament and by the gods did she own a temper. If Levlidian was entirely sure he'd receive a beating and not the fun kind for saying it, he'd assume a tad bit of Saiyan blood ran through her. Still, Mietra wouldn't much like the assumption nor the jest, Lev' had grown quite fond of the figurative angel upon his beloved's shoulder, he respected her and the culture the two shared- he'd even asked to know more of it not that Durian had obliged. This he didn't blame her for as she'd shared the most vital parts including the rights of bondage which, he'd taken to as soon as he knew that this Kagami was his Kagami.
"Take in what you're looking at and not physically, look deeper, beneath the Gi, the flesh, look at my core and familiarise yourself with my energy. When i coem at you try to focus on it. You can even go as far as predicting my moves with memory and muscle memory alone without having to think," he'd chuckle, "This is exciting, my Wife is going to be the most powerful Kagami in the Universe when I'm done with you," it wasn't what mattered. Durian was his dream, dreams had a funny way of being snuffed out by their nightmares and so here he was. Emer and Hinawa may have failed to give them what she needed, even if they had come close, but Levlidian and Durian were not going to make the same mistake on one another. The most powerful tag team was Lev's goal, he wasn't going to leave his Wife at home if trouble started, he wanted her beside him as a warrior, with his Pride and her cunning- they'd be untouchable from Vegeta to Konats. Other Takeshii's, they might not be so easily won over, they might not be so kind or forgiving even if the forgiving part was taking some time- next time they may go right for the bonded Kagami he analysed and her Saiyan wasn't going to let her suffer for his mistakes.
With an affectionate gaze fixed about his Wife, the young Saiyan took in what she was saying, it had been a while since they'd fallen into stance, instead of answering her questions directly, he had devised that perhaps a short conversation between exchanges would be more so worth their time. A service, in part, to the focus he was trying to help her achieve. In honesty, for the most part he didn't even have that level of focus. A lot of the energy following was born from the necessity of it, being blind in one eye truly served that and now he could manage it at least in part, some attacks now failed to catch him off guard. Awaiting the end of her words, he'd look mildly shocked for the moment and raise his eyebrows to reflect this; "Hinawa- attacked you you out right?". This was a new feeling, never had he doubted his first Master but hearing those words spilling from his partner's mouth, it irritated him and he wasn't afraid to show it. With a dip of his lips, the frown evolving quickly and his knitted brow descending into one of anger; the frown itself split into a scowl to reveal the ivory beneath.
"Bitch," he muttered. During training, things would always get rough even as he'd fought the Fox, both of them had given it their all to a point that Levlidian had, more than once, had to carry her either home or allow her to slumber upon him for lack of energy. Now he finds out that Emer didn't just teach these women, he pitted them against each other and when Durian herself was still developing <Asshole> he found himself growling internally. Flexing his fingers a moment, allowing this notion to flood through him and empty into his burning flames of combat- ironic with who had taught him such. "I'm coming," and he suddenly grinned. Leaning into his heel, his toes rocked back until he leaned forwards peaking onto his tip toes and tearing through the sky he came. Lev's thighs flexed before hand and propelled him like a spring board into the Kagami. They'd share and exchange for a time, fists swept for her abdomen, three in total and in quick succession before he'd twist the right inwards and seek deliver an elbow to her shoulder, from that he 'd draw a knee to strike at her waist and hip. He was fast, training himself to become as lean and swift as possible for it was they he had struggled with, power was never an issue and although he held back the vast majority of his strength- he still struck as though made of Iron. from the knee he'd pivot and leap swinging his ankle about her upper bicep then as he'd fall swing the opposite leg from under him to tackle her ankles.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
The Kagami’s eyes would soften for a moment. He may or may not catch it, and it didn’t overly matter. But even in teasing her mate, she found simple comfort in him. He protect her physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Their relationship was a shared endeavor. They were equal. And he wanted her a part of it as much as he wanted. There was no real control of one over the other. They shared. There was still that bit of guilt that surfaced when she first met Takeshii. That she took much from her mate. They shared, but most of the sharing was his. His home, his food, his ship, his power. The life he himself had built, while Durian brought nothing with her. The Kagami decided to try and find something to share with her mate either before Namek or when they’d get there.
But that would be forgotten for now. The powerful Saiyan before her was instructing. His child-like grin and energy for life coaxing her into security. He’d help her hone her abilities. They were both at the ready and he spoke she’d need to close her eyes. At any other point, she’d flat out refuse. With anyone else, she’d insult and berate such stupidity to befall her. But with Levlidian, she trust him with her life. He was her life. The red would fall behind eyelids, the woman settling into her blind state.
She listened to him as he spoke. Her vision was gone, but everything else remained in place. She could sense energy. She could hear him. She could feel. Smell her mate not too far from her. Taste the air. Durian had often focused upon his energy. She knew how to find him. She traced him over the Earth many times and even found him when she hadn’t expected to. But never had she looked for his energy as a map of his movements. Never to the point where she could sense and figuratively see him through his own ki. When he’d make his comment upon her being the strongest Kagami in the universe, she’d smirk. Eyes still closed but listening to her other half.
“What if I already am?”
She’d tease him. She had come a long way, but it was unlikely she was the strongest in the universe. She had lived a short life in comparison to what their race could accomplish. There were some decades and decades older than her. Surely someone must be stronger. She assumed there always would be. But to be beside her Saiyan, she’d train as hard as she could. Maybe some day she could be by him in equal measure. Maybe. Whatever may come, she wished to be near him though. Not left aside to leave him fight by himself. They were equals and shared life. She must share in his fight as she hoped he shared in hers.
It was taking longer to start than she expected, the two conversing smally as she gained a better idea of his energy. Picturing her mate in both ki and vision. The fire and beast that were equally a part of her playful mate. All which she wanted to take part in, feed the fire, tame the beast, play with the Saiyan. His visual cues would be lost, but the way his words rung in shock would make the Kagami shift her head slightly. Confused, she didn’t expect that to be horribly surprising. Hinawa had been a small bit different training up in her mansion, but overall she was hardheaded and worked hard. It seemed the same as normal. Maybe it hadn’t been what she expressed to her mate, she made the mental note to show him if he so desired. Something stirred in her mate that she wished to extinguish. There was no reason for this unsettled nature now. Not when they were together.
“I can show you later, Lev.”
But it would come almost at the same time as a comment. Bitch. It caused the Kagami to smirk. Reaching out to him, she’d try to settle his mind. It didn’t matter now. The mention of her name is what brought me closer to you, remember? You told me to seek her and that’s how I’d come to be at your side. It wasn’t quite so simple as that, but yes. While Hinawa wasn’t someone Durian particularly cared for positively or negatively, the mention of training with Hinawa is what sent her North. It’s where her relationship with Levlidian had really begun. A rocky and hate filled one, but that’s how she’d come to know him.
I’m coming
She heard him speak. To which she’d nod once and smirk. Settling back into him and her. Ready and waiting, she’d focus upon his signature. That was the goal. Learn to see and feel by way of his energy. It was all fuzzy... She knew he was coming. All of her senses screamed that, but she didn’t know exactly what he would do. She knew how he fought, she had seen him, but how first? How was he positioned? She’d hear his feet land just in time for her to receive swift blows to her abdomen. A grunt came from his mate as she’d tense her abs for further strikes, taking them with a bit less pain and agony. She was locking into his form... slowly. Somewhat. With his speed he still was out of her range. He was there. He was so obviously there. But... not clear.
With the feeling of his twisting hand, she’d raise a hand and block his elbow to her shoulder. Concentration obvious on her face as she’d push forward with her feet on the ground, attempting to shove him back minimally. Knee came for her next, grazing her from her push. But the other movements were lost to her. Too fast and too many appendages. She had the hands now, but not the feet... which would be her downfall. Literally. His leg sweeping out her ankles, taking her balance and form, one foot knocking into the other before toppling.
Landing on back and side with another irritable grunt. Her anger was minimal. Frustration still set in on the small amount she had accomplished, but still a peace that it had been with Levlidian. Not with anyone else. Lifting partially to sit up, her palms to the floor, the Kagami’s eyes remained closed. “Part of my ability to not act rashly is fear. When you aren’t present, I still hold that same fear of my life past. Ingrained on Vegeta and likely to forever live with me. Powerful or not, life is dangerous. So many wish to take it away. I can’t afford to act rashly or my life is forfeit.”
Taking a breath in and stretching her ribs and stomach, a bit of soreness settling into her abs where he had struck her. The Kagami would move to find her feet again. Finding her balance and trying to once again focus upon her mate.

Levlidian stood over after the combat and would tilt his head in the moment, a slight of a smile decorating his complexion, she'd done well even kept up with him to a degree but; even knowledge couldn't guide her in those moment. "You think too much- let your body do the work just focus on where your feet are- knowing there is a threat is all in here," he'd place his forefinger to his head and seemingly examine the Kagami for a moment. She'd come quite the way in their time together, even now he could feel the bleeding power from her frame and exerted breath- now Durian exceeded him when he'd become a Super Saiyan and it was impressive beyond measure. With shared explanation to the placement of her fear, this quirked his lips into a toothy grin and a placement of either hand on his hips as he'd say; "Fear is good, so long as it doesn't cripple you- some of the bravest things ever conducted were because fear was involved," drawing his boots back, the beast soon found himself a good few feet away. "I was scared, when I had to fight my brother- scared of what it would mean when I killed him. I'm terrified of what would happen if the Solar Empire came for me to make me pay for what I've done- but I use that and bury it under the flames of my confidence.
Those sorts of emotions are built to fuel us not cripple us Durian. So it's good you're afraid, now use it,". Lowering himself into that familiar squat, poise up taken. "Instincts are all you need, not your logic in a fight. Logic only plays a part when things go south,". However he'd stop and reflect back on what his mate had uttered about Hinawa, though he held a grudge, and boy could he hold a grudge, it was correct; without her these two would have never happened upon one another and for that he was grateful. "Enough talking, now we train again, remember, feel me don't try and focus on me, the air, the ground, my very body are betrayers of my intentions; try and just- trust yourself. Fighting isnt about how hard you hit, it's not about out doing the other. The entire thing should be mutual, respectful and honourable- sure enough a head on collision with some foes tend to get personal-," he'd scowl a moment as he explained. Fights, fighting, it carried such a wrap for it for it's outcomes and poorly guarded emotions during. However, Levlidian himself had been guilty of such transgressions himself thus he too had something to learn of this logic he knew so well.
"Mutual respect between fighters is an important thing, even if you don't like them you must respect and keep your awareness about their ability. Over confidence and lack of breathing will end a fight sooner than it started. I'm fairly sure I've explained this before- but it's more like guideline than an actual rule," again the beast chuckled taking in the slender frame of his mate- not the time Levlidian! came his sterner self thus the beast sighed; his sultry glance watered down to one of playful mocking. "When you know I'm coming, just know, ignore what your brain tells you what you should do- listen to the instinct inside which will tell you what it -will- do. Taking a blow however, sometimes the strategy requires sacrifice to execute- if you feel you can survive a blow and put you in a better position, for position is paramount, take it- don't be too arrogant in your self to assume you can evade everything that comes your way," he'd motion to his eye and grin as ever the idiot; thus he prepared again.
This time, when the beast rose onto his tiptoes, drew back his frame and used it like a spring- he leaped straight and cleared the distance with ease in a single bound bringing his fist- majoritively slower, down on Durian's chest. The strength of his strike though solid was reduced also seeking to not go soft on her but to grant that bit extra stamina for he'd flare for a longer moment. From his first fist came a second, twisting the joint of his wrist to snare her ribs with a jab, he'd motion this three times in succession. Pivoting on the width of the heel supporting him he'd then bend his knee and leap mid way to deliver a rounded kick then fall continuing the rotation to sweep her feet again.
Rising and bounding back a foot, granting his Wife a moment to recover, breathe and process the movements before sweeping in again, this time he thrust several snap jabs at her breast bone, switching the last into a swift bludgeon of his elbow to her jaw. Drawing the same elbow back he'd then step into a thrust for her diaphragm and and in turn intend to eject the fold. Both hands sought the Kagami's wrist attempting to wrap their frames about her wrist, pivot, jut his hip into hers and seek twist using the leverage of his momentum to toss her over his body and rendered prone about the foot of the ship.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Durian couldn’t roll her eyes at the comment. She thought to much. Her eyes would still remain closed upon getting to her feet. While she wasn’t exactly sure what he was pointing to, she assumed his head. She tried to sense it. To feel his energies moving. But it was so much more difficult than seeing... At least to her. Sensing had come more naturally those few years back, but not to this level. More or less it was a radar to her. A warning. What Lev wanted her to do was so precise. Fighting was so precise. Inwardly sighing, she’d merely nod to her mate. She loved him. Wanted to be equal and to fight at his side. But heaven and hell this was all annoying.
“I didn’t say it was crippling. I said it’s the reason I don’t become a rambunctious Saiyan like my wolf.”
The Kagami grinned in return, amusement upon her features even if her red eyes were lost to his vision. It was likely that more of her fear was controlled now. From crippling upon Vegeta, to slowly waning upon the Earth. Losing that crippling fear took time. And it still held her back from many things. But Durian liked to think that it was more about caution and thought than it was about being bluntly afraid. And with a smirk, Durian further realized how different they were. Levlidian buried his fear into his confidence, blazing onward with the fire of his breed. She was one to meld the fear into her thoughts. Rationalize and weigh options.
“My fear makes me think too much.”
The Kagami would joke. They did somewhat go hand in hand. Her mind flowing through words spoken, retorts to be handed back, sides to choose, and whether action should be taken at all. There were times that confidence could merely mean heartache and destruction.
The slight change in the air was felt and Levlidian would drop back into a stance. Durian would do the same, poised in what she found comfortable and familiar. Soon her mate would cme at her again. She’d have to know his position and movements. React accordingly. And he wanted her not to think logically. This did make her sigh. She wasn’t sure she could accomplish that. Her instinct was not to be a fighter. Her instincts did not warn her as his did. And from the back of her mind, she’d hear a whisper. Mitra calling to her and offering aide. Durian wouldn’t speak a retort, but there was a part of her that agreed. Lev could possibly notice a shift in the Kagami’s energies. Not overall changed, it was still Durian, but something slightly different.
The kagami waited. Hearing the words of her mate. He clung so closely to fights being something worthy of respect. It was possible he didn’t know his mate’s thoughts. She may have never expressed them. But... She imagined if she respected those she fought, she wouldn’t be fighting all that often. And those that didn’t have her respect... well... She’d take them down as she had her master. However it was possible to accomplish it. She was not beyond sneaking in unnoticed. Taking life before her presence was known. That could be logical. And avoid this whole need for extra time and effort to fight head on. A well placed blow as efficient as any power struggle could ever be.
Levlidian would be done explaining and he would move. Springing forward and leapt for his mate. The arm before her would thrust out sideways, a solid ‘crack’ resounding against his forearm to shove it out of the direction of her chest. In this partial spin of her upper body, the opposite arm would also move up for his form. The second fist he aimed for her would land, attempting to repeat into her body as she made her own move. Aiming to slam her own forearm into his neck. Immediately taking her body and throwing her weight to the side, moving forearm along his neck until hand would meet with the sensitive skin, nails digging in as she’d try to almost throw him from this one holding position.
In all this, even if she didn’t succeed in all of her movements, the Kagami would tackle her mate to the ground. His kicks should be somewhat interrupted, but if he still continued with his sweeps, or attempted, she’d throw herself atop him in whatever momentum he tried to use. Breathing a bit deeper after a moment’s hesitation, holding herself atop him, she’d open the red to gaze upon her mate. A tad brighter than normal, a spark to them, then fading into a more ‘normal’ piercing red. Her energy would return back to normal, that he would know of his other half having settled.
We aren’t a Saiyan. Generations of warriors don’t flow through our blood.
The words were not Durian’s, but that of her goddess. Speaking to Levlidian through Durian’s thoughts. She spoke honestly, but with a twinge of amusement. Levlidian did have a way of relying on his instincts he knew so well. Durian... Would have to alter his approach a small bit. Utilize her mind and her goddess to accomplish what he knew as instinct. What he was taught from the moment he could move and understand.
The Kagami would lean forward, aiming to capture her teacher’s lips with her own for a brief moment. Smilling faintly, she’d move to get off of him. “This time without Mitra. I’ll do better.” Her goddess had taken over her form. A better idea of sensing the specificities of Lev. She had to do it more often, or near all the time, afterall. The Kagami held out her hand to Levlidian as she stood, aiming to at least offer in helping him to his feet. There was a faint smile to her face, her eyes scanning his features almost as if she had been gone too long.
When he was on his feet, she’d move back into her poised position. Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes once again. He’d come for her. She’d have to sense him. Live this through Mitra’s eyes. Combine feeling and thought, her instinct being her goddess and reliance upon sensing him. She could do this.

Awaiting the responses of his mate, Levlidian nodded to the conclusion and even managed a laugh at a few of her playful jests, hopping from one boot to the other after their combat, he could feel that Saiyan blood truly pumping. It was interesting, not too long ago now this Kagami had despised him, hated him and now the adoration in her eyes was unmistakable. However, he hadn't missed the odd dark hue that enveloped her upon certain subjects of conversation, the dips in mood, the wonderment; even when they spoke with Mammon, the Demon; there her darkness rose again. Had she truly considered that deal he'd proposed out in that wasteland? Honestly Lev' was curious to find out, concerned by the veiled darkness she carried- but curious to see how far she would go. The idea of a veiled anything wasn't new to him, even now he hid that typical Saiyan hunger, it wasn't so much of a secret mind you. All Saiyan's craved combat, they craved the stark choices of an instinctual nature; fist on fist.
True to form there lay the mock and Levlidian took it on, Durian was notorious for it but never was it meant to dent his ego- not anymore, most days the pair went hand in hand. natural reflections of the other. One aggressive, hardheaded and the other calm and calculating; it made for a deadly team. The only thing that was lacking was the sheer match of power they could both share. He didn't despise it, the method to which Durian utilised her power was one that had 'kept the young Saiyan sharp. Though in reflection, perhaps the confidence she was gaining was attributing to the sudden flux in her darkness. Gaining on her mate, able to access all measures of speed so she can keep up with him even now; wa sit something to be concerned of? Shaking his head and snapping back into the moment, Levlidian eyed the Kagami whilst she'd recuperate from his influx of attacks. Sturdy, and his eye travelled back for the HUD he'd activated.
Durian proposed some half decent arguments as to why she was struggling with his style, filtering the concern from his gaze, the Saiyan adjusted his jaw and folded his arms a moment even as she prepared. Then again, she'd held up fairly well and the subtle shift in her aura hadn't gone unnoticed. A grin bloomed about her mans lips and with a sweep of a heel and fall of his stance; preparation for another attack soon came full circle. Adversing his fingers to form their talons, he'd await for her to truly sink into the moment, mind interlocking with his breathing, those beautiful red eyes trailing his limbs awaiting a shift in stance- truly a distraction and his grin bore ivory in a goofy sense. "When you're done observing," he'd muse leaning into his frame and digging that heel into the preparation to strike- "Here I come," the steel bowed beneath his eruption and a fist drew in at a straight angle aimed for her chest, knuckles baring down soon swept back and the second followed as he'd move at a slower pace; he was granting her a chance to get used to the suggestions he'd made.
That shift had something to do with the sudden change in speed, the derived skill was definitely something he found impressive- that she could flip a switch somewhere and gain access to a second wave of intellect made for defence. The second fist lead into the same arm folding into a fore arm he'd lunge at her shoulder before placing a boot back and throwing up a knee to position and feign a strike. pausing, the leg switched to the next at a hop curling the limb across in an arching kick that lead him about only for him to leap, fling his left and send the left leg like a counter balance leading on the attacking lower limb to sweep harder for her head. The move carried him like a spinning top lowering his stance and seeking her feet again with the very same leg. The shift soon had him up on his palms still spinning , legs rotating with him and aiding the beast to his feet again followed by backwards somersault to which he'd land.
The end was not here, landing, the Sayan shook his head and grinned, a little flashy but the obvious was needed. Big moves, loud ones, allow the female to grant herself the ability to recognise the difference in shifts of his frame with energy alone. "Sorry, got a bitc carried away," he'd chuckle and raise his guard. Levlidian waited, he waited for her to collect herself. This Kagami, she was tough, it was something he'd come to adore. Quiet, well spoken and always serious. Always thinking, it was a problem at times for a soul who spent so much time calculating in her head lost the sense of true battle. Though, again those points rang home and a feeling of irritation filled the man. he was always looking from a Saiyan perspective and this was what ruined his judgement- made him over evaluate and miss time his attacks; apparently he too had a lot to work on. "Now, come at me," he asked, politely and with a dastardly wink.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Not much was said between the two about his Saiyan blood versus her Kagami. The Kagami could certainly be strong, but they didn’t the same history that Saiyans did. Generations upon generations of Saiyans had fought. Craved fighting. Found energy and fighting. The Kagami were peaceful and then overcome. Their adaptability allowing them to survive. To take after their masters. But overall, they were not the same as Saiyans. Combat did not come easily, at least not for Durian. And while this sensing might become one of her strengths, it did not come as simply to her as Levlidian made it seem it should. Thankfully, Mitra had a greater understanding. Her movements and vision giving Durian something to hold onto. The Kagami’s view of the world that Levlidian wanted to shower her.
Her study of her mate’s form was interrupted by his words. He was teasing her lightly and it brought a grin to her lips. Would she ever be done observing him? Or could she keep him for eternity and forever watch him grow and be. Her Levlidian, the Golden Warrior. But he would soon follow up with ‘here I come.’ She needed to be ready. Closing hereyes and breathing deeply, she’d try to focus and relax as her goddess did. Feel the energies and recognize her mate.
The metal gave beneath his push. He was coming towards her and his energy washed over her. The vaguest sense of his fist would come to her ‘vision.’ Her chest already partially turned from him in her stance, the higher hand would grip for his fist, meaning to grab onto the incoming aggressor and pull him forward. Possibly throw him off minimally. Though her hand fumbled. The grip not centered and her strength failing most of the pull. Levlidian continuing forward in an onslaught of strikes. While he was slower, the number made it hard to keep up once she had made a failure. Fist. Forearm. Legs. Each coming one after the other. His feet colliding with her legs and taking them out from beneath her.
But rather than let him totally down her, she’d partially recover in the fall. Her hand smacking hard against the floor to catch herself as she forced her legs below her and landed upon her feet in a low crouch. She felt him leave. His body farther from hers. And the female pushed off the metal. He wouldn’t be waiting long for the Kagami to throw herself towards him. The words of getting carried away barely having left his mouth before she was upon him. A strike from her right fist before shifting her forward momentum in a spin. Bringing her leg up and keeping it bent somewhat close to her as she’d jump as well, meaning to slam her knee into his face yet carry through past him with her twist. Granting her non-offensive foot hitting the floor again, she’d wrench that leg that went to hit him forward. Extending it. Driving her foot to dig into his face or neck as her upper body would lean back to accommodate the reach.

Watched on as she'd prepared, from the beauty of her crimson gaze to the paleness of her skin, the young man was once again subject to his own inner thoughts and a goofy grin drew across his lips. This Kagami was his, how he adored that fact and mulled over the way she moved and prepared for combat, that slender physique slipping into her stance in the wake of his own assault; how on Earth had be been lucky enough to convince her otherwise about himself? Of course, his defenses lowered mentally, no longer was he a man in the thick of a sparring match but a man subject to his own heart. He'd fought many in his time, some more serious than others and others as playful as a child- he wondered for a brief moment after Tomoyo and his ample naivety in the face of being a Saiyan. Both of them despised the way they had been built, bred, though the boy was only a half breed it would seem he too had no intention of following the Warmonger half and instead basked in the calm demeanour of a human being- Levlidian envied that though these thoughts were quickly rectified with a sudden burst in energy before him.
Was she coming at him? Shit she was- caught with his figurative pants down at his ankles; Levlidian threw up his defenses far too late. Though he managed to prepare for the first attack, her extending limb to feed her joint into his jaw. However, the experience she'd gained, whether with her partner or not soon saw the adjustments of the slender frame he knew so well and drive the crevice of her heel hard into his head. More so the coil between jaw and throat but still he was struck hard and sent reeling, damn, she hit hard and he'd allowed his wonderment over his beloved to guide not only his mind into the nefarious depth of day dreaming but away from combat entirely. Like the thick heel of her boot had knocked pain into his now kneeling frame- she'd knocked sense into her husband; she was the key to his calmer demeanour. However what did that mean, that when she wasn't around he'd descend back into his old habits? He certainly hoped not, he loved to spar but to actually fight to the death, how he wished he hated it.
"Damnit, that was good," he'd admit and rise adjusting his jaw and placing a palm against the crevice of his throat to massage it. Truly, Durian hit really hard and Lev' couldn't help but acknowledge that, however, she did also summon more of his bloodlines enjoyment and a wee bit of pride; she'd figured him out. However he'd grant no real time for reflection and come at the Kagami within moments of his readjustment. The heel of his boot folded with the bending knee and with a grunt, the Saiyan was upon her once again. He'd brazenly lead with a flourish of his knee aiming for her abdomen, a soaring knee strike that whether strike or block would vent his frame back to which he'd hop one more time and rotate, twisting to press both palms flat upon the steel of their chamber and invest both boots into a mule kick- as though supporting himself with the front, pillar like limbs before turning to roll and rise to face her once more- preparing for the return on this wife of his and with vengeance.
Durian had never been one for fighting, he knew this the moment they'd met as he'd arrive, traditionally of course with plumes of smoke and a rush of air whilst she hesitated to strike at a few creatures. However, second guessing herself, he'd never have guessed she'd do so as often as she did. Unable to read the mind of the Kagami and with her stark sense of discipline, Lev' had pressed the thoughts of her hesitancy in battle to perhaps the lack of experiences. However, he'd also noted she almost always seemed to be thinking, red, beautifully crimson eyes were windows into that fact as they moved far too much for her focus to truly be upon the moment. Then again, when they did focus upon their target it was a chilling experience for he then knew the usually wandering mind; drifting about thoughts he'd never see had chosen in that moment to focus. A thought that excited the Saiyan blood in him and drew pride of the lover he'd become- for she truly saw him and always had.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Durian would lose most of Lev’s appearance. She was tracking him, sure. But she wouldn’t know he was grinning at her. Nor admiring her. The charm of her mate was lost to the woman as a drive to do better pushed her onwards. He was skilled and expected things of her. Mitra so easily sensed and reacted to him. The Kagami needed to work hard to match to her goddess and husband. This would be why she refused to take a breather that time. He attacked and pretty much put her to the ground, she needed him to know that she wouldn’t just be dead weight.
Her surprise came with him reacting too late. Had he closed his eyes too? She couldn’t imagine. For he certainly wouldn’t be handicapped by it like she was. Her foot would collide with the flesh beneath his skull, part of her plans playing through what she desired. The force behind the attack sent him flying away from her. Gaining her feet back beneath her within that moment, the Kagami would rush after him. Lev was more than capable of getting her to stop if he wanted her to. If he wanted her to take a break or he wanted to take a break. For now, she wanted to follow up. Keeping him in her ‘sights’ and pushing onwards. She loved him and wanted to do him proud.
Coming upon his rising form, him coming up from his kneeling, the Kagami had taken a moment to the air to bring a crushing elbow down upon him. But he rose too soon and was too quick. He met her forward advance with life and energy. The Kagami could feel it bubbling inside him. He had even complimented her, even if she hadn’t answered. His knee met with her stomach, forcing the air from her lungs in a partial grunt. Her one hand back for the strike she had prepared, but the free one would grasp the pants of his gi. Hoping to keep some of his momentum he tried to drive through. Yet she was still flung a bit back by his quick recovery and attack. The Kagami’s feet meeting the ground and her taking a few stumbling steps back. Her hand releasing his gi before she’d tear fabric away with her.
She tried to keep up with his body. And with most of it staying near and in sync, it helped. He sent his legs out, keeping balance upon his arms. Bringing her arms to her front to take most of the blow, she’d take advantage of his recovery from his attack. Rushing again, reverting once again to her elbow. Left in front of her, aimed as an arrow to his own abdomen as she rushed him once more. The Kagami meant to run him through like a train meeting a beast on the tracks. Her opposite hand holding to her other forearm to steady her blow if it met with its target.
The other part of my calm... is you.
The Kagami would mentally relay to him. Partially to continue the conversation, and partially to give him a slight moment's of hesitation. Try to catch him off guard once again if she could.

He'd risen to vent himself back at the Kagami, this fight was becoming heated but not so much as there was anything severe, the sudden evolution in Durian's skill had summoned the Saiyan in him. There was no starts and stops anymore, it was to become integral that the pairing could keep going and testing each other. True enough he'd been quite insistent on making the young woman stronger, faster, fear had driven her lover to seek better not only himself but those about him he'd need to defend. Seemingly in this on going story she'd done it on her own and Levlidian couldn't feel prouder in the very moment he noted his mistake. Darting back into the fray had been precisely what Durian had counted on. The over eager Saiyan spied the sudden vent of the Kagami back in his direction- elbow poised and reinforced with a grasp of her forearm- there was no time to block.
A savage boom filled the sphere, pain ruptured Levlidian like a travelling plague through him, a blade tainted with that familiar dull ache he was so well accustomed to. Though this wasn't a strike from any of the foes he'd fought before, the training he'd undergone finding and seeking challengers on Earth. This was processioned, planned and it hurt like hell- even through such a simple aversion of limbs he could feel all that power in her. When they'd met on that mountain top, she'd had not even a quarter of what was boasting from her frame at this very moment, this was without any form of ascension, did a Kagami even have anything like that of a Saiyan? Maybe it was something like a Super Ultra Kagami- his midns eye fell deadpan even as her strike seemed to fill him with a slowly darkening sight, Saiyan's were crap at naming things he deduced, was he passing out? "No," he muttered and snapped back to the fight.
Folded around her blow and scowled to the notion of it, his fingers tightening around the limb and his jaw slacking to expel saliva to the sudden tenacity she'd shared with him, again she'd hit him and with a bow of his head- the beast staggered away. He barely heard her words as the excitement in his bolstered a thousand strong, they'd grown together, however Durian was showing real promise in this session alone, when had she become so powerful? Peering to her, the barely heard words creeping into his minds eye via the Kagami's latent ability, he kept her calm? Digging in his heel, flexing the length of his over eager jaw, the young Saiyan hadn't cottoned on to her notion of distraction, instead he assumed it was because of his refusal to give up and recently- that had begun to wane. Drawing his ki down into the heel of the black boot, upon her again he soon was, a left fist bearing down to offer a palm to the side of her ribs as his elbow coiled like a viper, striking out.
from that blow came his right fist flat palmed and aiming to bludgeon her shoulder when finally the left returned as a straight thrust delving to bludgeon her sternum intending to knock her back. He wouldn't let her down, if this was what inspired her, inspired anyone he'd fight on like he always had done. bending those knees, flexing them like a spring soon after he'd leap and intend coil a heel around to strike at the crook of her neck- completely forgoing his defence and going on the offensive."-and you're mine," he thought.
