Purika walked to the entrance of his home, unlocking the door and entering. He shut and locked the door behind him. Then, he proceeded to walk down the hall to his room, entering and gripping the bottom of his heavy armor. He lowered it to the floor after he slipped it above him, taking off his arm guards in the process. After it was rested on the floor, he exited his room and walked across the hall into the bathroom. He needed a shower from all that training he did. He took his clothes off, stepping into the shower. After he was in the shower, he turned the water on, washing himself.
After a dozen minutes passed and he couldn't smell himself anymore, he stepped out of the shower, turning the water off. He picked up a towel off his towel rack, drying himself off and putting his jumpsuit and boots back on. Now he needed a meal since he didn't eat anything before he left to train with Shemha. He exited the bathroom, continuing down the main hall, entering the dining room. Walking over to the fridge, he opened it. He looked around at the contents that were held inside the refrigerator, catching eye of some lizard meat.
He grabbed the container it was held in, shutting the refrigerator. Opening the container, he grabbed the meat out. His hands were clean, so he could warm the food with his hands with the use of ki. He redirected some ki to his hand, before warming it up, flipping it occasionally. It only took a minute or so to warm, holding his head back and lowering the meat into his mouth, chomping down on it as he lowered it. After he was done, he let out a belch, dusting his hands off. He walked over to the sofa in the living room, laying down on it with his leg perched up on the arm rest.
He was a tall one, that was for sure. But, not as tall as Shukaku. He grabbed the remote to the television which rested in front of him, flicking it on with the press of a button. Now, he watched television. After minutes went by, he started to get pretty bored, frowning. Nothing good was on television. He grunted, flicking the television off. He rose from where he laid, walking back into the hall. "What the hell do I do now?" Purika only had a few options, a few of them being doing a mission or train. Yeah, he could go and train in Shemha's dojo.
He had nothing else to do anyways. Maybe Shemha was still there, and they could do a higher setting of gravity. She most likely had it on low last time because it may have been the others first time training. It wouldn't hurt to ask her what her maximum was. Purika settled on it, entering his room after a bit of walking. He looked to his two pairs of weighted armor, and one regular one. "So which will it be..." He thought, trying to decide. "I'm going to be using gravity anyways, so regular armor it is." Purika thought, deciding.
He picked up his regular armor quite easily, stretching it over him and wrapping his tail around his waist. He sprinted out of his room and down the hall, unlocking the door to exit and locking it back. "No time to waste." Purika thought. His white aura flared around him, before he shot from the ground, heading to the already visible dojo. After a few moments passed, he slowed down and hovered to the wooden entrance. He barely had been gone any time at all! He knew Shemha was in the dojo, he sensed her power. He approached the doors, grabbing the handle and opening it.
He looked over to Shemha, closing the door behind him. "I'm back again. I got bored so I wish to train again." Purika said, pausing stated, walking closer to her as he spoke, stopping far enough to give her some personal space. "May we train?" Purika asked. Right now he was at his maximum power while not transformed.

Thread/Current PL - 3,681,885/4,663,721
The first training session in her dojo went well. Although only four warriors answered the initial call, those that arrived possessed potential. Beyond brute strength, that is what the Empire needed. There was no telling what Xylo and his minions might attempt next and considering a number of Namekians remained on Namek after they fled with the Guru, those ranks of minions were likely to grow. The best thing the SSE could do was bolster their own forces to match whatever might come their way. If Shemha was able to accomplish what she desired, the Saiyan military would be ready.
In the dojo with her sole companion, Shemha took the chance to watch the demon at work. Old friends, the two got along well even after so many years spent apart and with ease Meridia fell into line now that the Majin possessed greater strength. In no way did she feel the girl was part of her property like they once were to others, but associates. Luckily the raven haired female was easy going and gave no issue with Shemha calling the shots. As long as Meridia got her own free time to shop as she pleased, the girl seemed happy.
Right now she was at work, using her strange otherworldly powers to mend the training facility. Despite the previous combatants being on the lower end of the spectrum, when compared to those like Habana and Shemha, they were by no means weak. Across the dojo cracks and chunks of debris were reminders of the power they possessed. Luckily, the demon could fix it all with time as the only cost. Similar to Shemha’s own magic materialization abilities, Meridia was able to repair the damage done. In no time, the dojo was back to its pristine condition. It was a good thing to for right as the girl finished, a familiar signature strolled through the front door.
As she heard the voice, Shemha turned, arms crossed over her chest.
”Purika.” She began with a slight nod of her head. ”Ready for another round so soon are you? I respect your drive.” Shemha responded with no hint of sarcasm in her voice. This sort of gusto was likely why he claimed to have mastered gravity levels even higher than what she was capable of.
”I am ready for more if you wish to engage again. Perhaps we should try something a little more intense? Before you said you could handle levels of gravity upwards near one hundred and twenty times what is normal. While I have no progress quite that far just yet I feel comfortable tackling ten shy of that. What do you say?” She questioned as a small smirk formed on her lips. Un-phased by the fact he surpassed her in this department, all she wanted to do was get closer to that level. If she was able to push another as well, all the better.
Off to the side Meridia’s shoulders slumped as a groan escaped her full lips. ”Come on, really? I just spent the better part of the last hour fixing the place up. You guys are going to make a mess of it again.” The demon’s protest valid, but an empty one. Although often flighty, Meridia possessed enough intelligence to read the two warriors before her. With the halfhearted complaint shared she was already on her way towards the console, prepared to set the gravity levels when Purika inevitably agreed to the suggestion.

Purika listened as Shemha acknowledged him, stating she respected his drive to train. Purika also respected himself for it, nodding. After a few moments, Shemha began to speak again, listening to the long speech and question of Shemha. Purika heard Shemha say that she'd not went up to the amount of gravity he's had, but that didn't matter to him. Quite a few people never had gravity training that high, him being one of the lucky people to actually go that high. Purika was grateful to train with Shemha either way. Training was training, and it was an honor especially with Shemha's role.
A smirk crawled to Purika's lips. "Definitely." Purika would reply, eager to train. He trained under 120G, so 10G lower than that wouldn't be that much of a hassle for him. Like anyone else, there'd still be pressure, but Purika had developed more of a resistance to it. Purika' heard Meridia's statement. Well, it was up to Shemha if they were to not train since it was her chamber after all. Meridia started to move towards the console where she turned the gravity on last time and Shemha had yet to bear a reply, so that meant everything was going to continue as planned.
Now Purika waited, channeling ki for the defense of multiple sections of his body which usually were exposed. His tail wasn't a problem in this situation like most since he trained himself out of that horrid weakness a while back. He never managed to get grabbed by the tail by the enemy while it wasn't trained since most of the time it was wrapped around him and the enemy thought nothing of it like the idiots they were. It was lucky for him, though, or he would've been in some serious trouble. He was glad he made it where he was now.
Purika remembered his glimpse of the super saiyan for, but he had yet to reach the power to attain the form. He was sure this training would help him get that far or at least close. Now, his eyes concentrated on Shemha. Now he had to think about what he'd do since she was way more powerful than him at the moment. Maybe she could lower her power to have a suitable fight where Purika would not get blown away instantly. Even if she didn't, Purika still intended on giving her a fairly decent fight, giving it his best.

As the gravity kicked on Shemha felt her body strain. Unlike the normal flesh and bone many races possessed, the rubbery substance that made up her kind sagged under the pressure. Or it would have if she let it. Such a scene was hardly becoming of a warrior or a lady and she would be damned if she let it happen in front of others. Jaw clenched as the intense force attempted to introduce her to the floor, her legs bent, but then steadily straightened. Energy flowed through her to combat the setting and after only a few moments she was able to stand unhindered. Adjusting to the increase was not the real challenge though, that came when one tried to maneuver through combat.
Glad to hear that Purika was up for a second, one on one round, she noted his capability to handle the gravity with little effort. His words were true, the Saiyan already past this level of training. He definitely had potential. Now, if only he could achieve the forms similar to those Habana possessed, that of a Super Saiyan. Then his strength could truly be brought to defend the Empire. Unaware of any others beyond the Queen and dead General Mayze, the SSE lacked golden warriors. If Purika was able to reach that level it would immediately propel him to the top of the ranks.
”It is impressive that you handle this so well, despite your lack of outright power. I do not mean to offend, but I assume you realize the gap between you and me.” Shemha started before a small chuckle escaped her lips. ”However, despite that difference in strength, it appears I need a moment for my body to adjust completely. Meridia, why not show him what you are capable of while I get used to this.” Shemha said with a glance to the demon. For whatever reason, no matter how high the gravity chamber was set; Meridia never appeared to be bothered by it.
In truth Shemha felt ready to fight, the time requested to adjust a small lie simply so she could see how he handled the powerful demon. For her part, the raven haired female didn’t complain. Floating towards the two of them, she ultimately positioned herself between the Majin and Saiyan. Meridia met Purika with a flirtatious smile.
”The pleasure is mine, Purika.” Meridia said with a curtsey, dipping lower to be respectful. That is what it looked like at least. From the respectful position she vanished, enacting her zanzoken technique to appear at his side. Power unsuppressed for the moment, she swing with her left fist for the side of Purika’s jaw. ”Ladies first, right?!” The playful demon exclaimed as the combat began, Meridia not at all above using whatever tricks to gain the advantage.
Shemha looks to “adjust” to the gravity and instead it is Meridia that Purika will be up against first!
Did you want to use KP for this or just go at it for fun without it?

Purika only stood when the gravity levels started to go up, not showing signs of much strain. 110G wasn't much of a challenge for him anymore, but it still put some pressure on him, which hindered his speed by a small amount. He used his ki to help him hold his position, much like if he was flying, except he was not moving. Purika stood while looking over to Shemha before she started speaking. Purika gave her his full attention, nodding in acknowledgment to the power gap between him and her. Purika was stuck where he was now without his Oozaru form.
With the super saiyan form, though, he was sure that others who achieved it at least once could activate it at will, which was a plus. Shemha then invited Meridia to come and train with him because she had to adjust to the gravity before they started to fight. Meridia was way weaker than Shemha right now, which was a plus for him. Afterward, she floated over in between them. She spoke and it looked like she was bowing, but then she disappeared. Purika's senses started to kick in, but they would have to adjust to someone moving at such speeds. She was fast.
Purika's senses didn't work fast enough, her finally becoming visible at his side. As he started to turn, he wasn't fast enough, and the strike hit his jaw, stating 'ladies first', and boy did it hurt his jaw, causing it to ache in pain. If he hadn't been using his ki for defensive measures, he'd have a bruise there or possibly have had his jaw broken. Purika stumbled to the side a bit before re-adjusting himself as a grin came to his face, causing a bit more pain in his jaw, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. Purika quickly dipped lower and extended his right arm towards Meridia, his palm facing her.
Then, ki shot through his arm, before exploding out of his palm. A wide crimson wave of ki would fire out of his hand at supersonic speeds. As soon as that one started to die down, his arm still was raised, so he decided to fire another one to add to the fry. As it left his hand, he hovered back a meter or so, him keeping his senses up to detect Meridia. He turned his head and looked over to Shemha, she was starting to get the hang of it. Whenever he got to a new setting of gravity, he had a hard time adjusting to it. But, Shemha was stronger than him, so it most likely wouldn't take her as long as him.
He turned his head back towards the blast that died down, focusing on the spar.

A light laugh left the demon as he stumbled from the force of the blow. Capable of enhancing her strikes with Ki, that wasn't even close to her hardest punch. Unlike Shemha, Meridia cared little for “fair” training sessions and often tilted things in her favor whenever possible. With the majority of her recent time training spent with her vastly stronger Majin friend, it was fun to be in the delivering wide for once. She would never cause serious injury to another under such a situation, but she wasn't afraid of breaking a bone or two. With the technology the Empire possessed and Shemha’s own personal store of senzu beans, moderate damage was easy to fix, not to mention Shemha knew how to heal. Quite enjoying herself already, the raven haired female smiled as Purika recovered from the strike.
Not only did he recover, but he fought back! Personally, Meridia loved the spunk the Saiyan warriors emitted. Hand raised in her direction, he let loose a wave of Ki. Early effortlessly, the demon threw up a wall of Ki, both of his attacks smashing into it like waves breaking against a rock they could not hope to overcome. Through the flash of the explosions she laughed, confidence soaring thanks to her clear advantage in power. With a display of that strength her aura flared and the dust cloud from his attacks disperses. Clad in pristine, untouched white, Meridia launched herself towards him.
”Meridia!” Shemha shouted from a short distance away, the use of her name causing the demon to halt her advance mid stride. ”Why not restrain your energy just a little so that you pose and adequate challenge for Purika? Saiyans do grow stronger when they take a thrashing, but I assume that is not what he envisioned when he decided to come and train today.” She suggested.
Shoulders slumped a little at the realization she shouldn't abuse her advantage, Meridia held the stance of defeat for only a moment. ”Good thinking!” She exclaimed as her normal, high energy self returned. ”One moment please.” The demon requested as she hopped back to reset the distance between them. With a steadying breath she began to shove her energy levels down, balancing out at roughly the 100,000 mark.
”There, that should be enough. Now let's go!” Her voice full of excitement once more as her arms spread out to the side, a crackle of energy visible between the two small horns atop her head. The spark of black energy began to grow, forming into an expanding sphere. Grinning wide as she jumped right back into combat, Meridia took the initiative to charge her Black Sun technique.
Off to the side Shemha slowly shook her head. Meridia was at heart, a decent person, she just got carried away at times. Perfectly fine with the gravity setting now, the Majin made no comment about it. Letting the two engage for a bit longer, she wanted to see if the Saiyan could best the girl. Then, she would engage him. Purika came to the dojo to be tested, he would be.

Purika sensed that his wave of ki had been halted by a wall of ki that Meridia put up which caused Purika to frown a bit. He was sort of at a disadvantage here. He listened to her laugh, but he was concentrating on getting his attack to push through. But, it was not meant to be, as his attack started to die down and disappear. As dust surrounded the area, her aura appeared, pushing the floating dust aside. Purika would have to defend himself to the best of his ability. She was untouched, he already knew this from what he sensed.
Was he going to die? He certainly thought this as she charged at him. He watched carefully as the female launched herself at him, preparing himself for anything that happened. But, halfway through, Shemha would call her name, which caused her to stop. Good, a little time for him to prepare. He turned his head to look at Shemha also, giving her his full attention. Then, Shemha spoke to her. What he heard from her made him confident again, even glad. He would get a decent fight. She also mentioned zenkai boosts, which he usually got from near death situations.
But like Shemha said, he didn't plan on having any of those here. Good, Meridia acknowledged Shemha. He watched as she jumped back, before lowering her strength to near his level. He would have been absolutely thrashed if she didn't do so, which was something he didn't want happening. A smirk came to his face, he was still excited, though. His tail waved about, already being trained out of its weakness so he wouldn't be paralyzed when someone grabbed it. He wondered why all saiyans didn't grow out of that damned weakness already.
Evolution should have played its part. Purika listened as she spoke, replying. "Gotcha." He would reply eagerly. A sort of excited tone could also be heard in his voice as well. Purika watched as she started charging an attack between her horns. He planned on retaliating himself with something around the same level, but what he was about to do was meant for close quartered combat. Purika threw his right arm to the side before his white aura started to flare. He would pour some of his ki into his forearm before it started to spark out!
A blob of crimson ki would encompass his forearm, standing out from his aura. It was a significantly weaker attack that didn't have much behind it, but it could still show some use to him. It would sharpen like a blade as he lowered it to his side, his own aura starting to fade. Purika got into his own custom fighting stance, his right arm positioned perfectly to match the ki blade. Now he would strike. He darted from his location, appearing in front of Meridia. He would pull his right arm over his chest as he floated in front of her not even for a second, before slicing it forward at Meridia.

Energy gathered between the demon’s horns. Hands spread to the side, fingers splayed she felt the energy course through her as it flowed up towards the growing sphere. One of her signature attacks, Black Sun allowed her the power to obliterate most her foes while also offering the flexibility to adapt to any defensive maneuver they might take. The best way to counter a charged version of the blast was to get close and go after her and that was exactly what Purika did. The Saiyan soldier possessed the keen instincts of a warrior.
At first she expected the stance to be some sort of precursor to a blast of his own, one aiming to counter whatever she might produce. Confident that her charge technique could outmatch anything he might create, she saw no reason to alter her tactic. Then, in a blink, he was on top of her. The arm positioned across his chest snapped forward to catch her solidly in the upper chest. With a grunt she shot backwards from the force of the impact, but simultaneously released the sphere of black energy that pulsed between her horns. He struck her, but likely at the expense of taking her Black Sun at point blank range.
Initially unaware of if her attack connected and to what degree, she sailed backwards. Meridia hit the ground on her back and bounced across the tiled floor of the dojo. Several skips drew groans from her before she was able to adjust and flip up to her feet. Chest rising and falling faster than it had before, the girl’s white dress was no longer so pristine. Streaked with dirt, the garment lost some of its luster. With her feet back under her, she looked for her opponent.
To the side Shemha refused to hide her smirk. Meridia was her friend, but it was amusing to see her take a hit like that considering how cocky she was a moment before. Perhaps in the future she would not be so judgmental of her opponent before seeing the extent of his skill. If the demon hadn’t been trying her hardest a moment ago, she sure would be now.
Regardless of who won this little spar, the Majin would be pleased with the outcome. Through this training the empire grew stronger on two fronts. Again she found herself questioning if Purika contained the potential to reach heights similar to those of Habana. The Queens golden forms provided her incredibly power and speed unlike anything Shemha had witness saved Walker. The thought of the defeated bio android caused her to glance down to her own hand.
That power was now hers, a clench fist extenuating that strength as red arcs of energy crackled over it. Despite the risk, she was hungry for more power and if others enemies met their end for her to gain it…so be it. With every foe the Empire defeated, she would grow stronger.

Purika chuckled lowly as his attack collided with the female, probably leaving a scar of some sort. Of course, she could have prevented such a scar by using her ki to protect from it. Purika would do the same after all, watching as she was sent back from the force of the impact that came while striking her. While she was sent back her own attack was launched, which Purika could tell was decently strong, even stronger than the ki blade he just used, which remained on his arm for future use. He knew it was stronger just by observing it, she even took the time to charge it.
Now Purika had to do something about this attack. He performed backflips to gain some distance from the ball, but it was fast. At least it gave him some reaction time to defend against the attack, even if it didn't work it would at least soften the attack. Purika quickly threw his right arm out. He used some of the leftover ki from his blade to form a shield of ki, using other ki that wasn't put into the attack to strengthen the shield. Purika watched as the attack hurled towards him, all of this happening in split seconds. When you were this powerful, you most likely were fast as hell.
The black ball came rushing towards him before it collided with his shield. Purika grunted, trying to maintain his shield. He was struggling against it. The shield was almost broken, cracks in it were visible. Damn, his shield was going to break. Like he thought, the ball pushed right through his shield using brute force. Purika frowned as the attack was right in his fast, time going slightly slower in his vision. He tried to jump backward to try to defend again, but it didn't work. While he attempted to escape the power ball, it charged straight into his abdomen.
Purika had a look on his face. No, not a shocked one, he was grinning. Even while he was in pain, he did so. This would help him grow stronger either way it went. Then, it exploded in a ball of flames. It tore away at his reinforced armor, being coated with his own ki, damaging it. He flew backward with his arms wide out from the force of the explosion. In almost a split second, the gravity started to do its work. The dojo was so large he didn't have time to hit a wall. He hit the ground, rolling backward before finally coming to a halt.
He laid on the ground for a few brief seconds, gaining his strength back. He was still able to fight, he wouldn't let this put him down. If that took him down whose to say the Mazoku wouldn't be able to? He started off crouching, catching him some air as he pushed himself up from the ground. As he stood proud and tall, he wiped off the dust caused by the explosion that was on his armor, as well as small pieces of it. He looked back to Meridia, she had recovered also. His armor was damaged, but it still looked good on him.
He thought it looked sort of cool too. He had other sets of armor he could wear if he were to attend something important. Now, he was going to get back to the battle. He dashed forward, headed straight for Meridia. He tossed his right arm out, his palm facing the woman. Ki channeled from the center of his body all the way to his arms, shooting out of it in a rapid succession of multiple crimson beams. Some beams were in the center and some spread out, swerving around towards her. They all had the intent on exploding upon contact.
Now he watched, halting himself as the beams fired from his palm, hovering a few inches above the floor. He planned on putting up a decent fight, even if he did loose. He had to break his limits.

Meridia located the Saiyan as he tumbled through the dirt. It was immediately clear her own attack connected and as a result, the armored warrior was sent rolling. She doubted it would be enough to finish him, but at the very least it would alert him to the power she possessed, just like she was now aware of his.
Without a glance down she knew his last strike pierced her flesh. Although not a grievous wound, her body far more durable than that of some weakling, the blade had broken the skin. She felt the warmth of blood as it began to stain the bodice of her dress. Thankfully, like with the dirt that now streaked it, magic would clean the garment or produce another one entirely. Un-phased by the injury she cocked her head to the side as Purika rose from the ground.
”Well done, but it is going to take much more than that to keep me down. Despite my looks I have spent centuries toughening my body as well as honing my techniques.” The demon gloated as a finger ran across her upper chest, eyes shifting to inspect her now red fingertip before her tongue licked it clean. Blood didn’t bother her, not in the slightest and although she liked to consider herself well kept, she wasn’t afraid to get down and dirty.
Glad to see him come at her, Meridia rushed forward as well. A few footsteps had her in the air as she charged for the array of red beams he fired in her direction. Always one to bend the rules, she didn’t even attempt to dodge his blasts. Instead she released her full strength. The sudden surge of power coupled with her magical materialization as dark armor took shape around her entire figure. Decked out from head to toe, the only part of her that remained uncovered where her two horns. Nearly ten times stronger than she was a minute ago, his blasts slammed into the magical armor with little effect.
Not to outright cheat, even if the sudden increase in her strength was close, she suppressed her energy after the attacks were weathered; quickly back on even footing with Purika. Still, the transformation allowed her to push through his beams with little loss of momentum and now she was on top of him. Right arm raised as she drew within striking distance, an axe identical in shade to her armor took shape before her arm dropped. Edge aglow with Ki, the weapon promised to strike hard and cut deep should it connect.
”Let’s see how you handle me in my Nocturna form!” Merida shouted as her weapon dropped for his left shoulder. The blow could very well cause serious injury if he didn’t protect himself against it. Whether she expected him to dodge or she just didn’t care about hurting him, one could not be sure. What was for sure was that she was giving him everything she had no, armored transformation and all.

Purika watched as his beams hurled towards Meridia. Purika could sense her charging straight into the blasts. So she was going to take them head on? A grin formed on Purika's face as he watched where he could sense her coming from, floating back a bit. He also lowered his arm as he had no further use for it at the moment as he was satisfied with how many ki beams he already launched. More would just be an unnecessary drain of ki which he would need right now. Getting exhausted in a fight was a living hell for yourself and heaven for your opponent.
Then, when she got close to the beams, her power increased by ten times from what he could sense! He frowned because he knew he was screwed, and he knew it. He couldn't do shit about it, either. He could not boost his own power at will. To his knowledge, super saiyans could do that whenever they wanted. He would just have to achieve the super saiyan form if that was the case, which he planned on getting it soon. He didn't plan on always being insignificant, he wanted his name known. He wanted people to respect him too.
Once she charged through a significant amount of beams, he could see that her appearance changed. Full body armor. After she charged through the attacks, she finally lowered her power level right back to where it was before. Purika's smirk returned to his face, he wasn't so screwed after all. Still, he would have to do his best. He had a great chance he would lose, especially when she was only restricting her power. If he threw out a strong attack she could simply raise her power at will to combat or defend against it. Well, it was still training for him either way it went.
Purika watched as she formed an axe in her hands. Magic, something which demons could do. He could have guessed she was a demon, too. Other races could also use magic, but it was commoner with majins and demons, and she was most certainly no majin. He could tell this was no ordinary attack, he could visibly see the ki on the tip of the blade. Purika chuckled at her comment. In a split second, he would shift himself to the side to avoid the axe. Now that he avoided the axe, he turned himself and reeled his arm back.
He was getting ready to strike. Then, he shot his arm forward into the side of her armor. He followed up by swinging his leg around to strike her back. Whether she dodged or not, Purika would jump back so he could give himself some space from her. It mostly seemed this fight would be close range now since she formed an axe. Purika was having a lot of fun training and he had yet to train with Shemha which had been watching from the sidelines. He wanted to impress his new commander.

So far, Shemha was impressed. Still off to the side, arms casually crossed over her chest, she followed the action with honest interest. Meridia was rather strong, a fact Shemha was well aware of and the reason the demon needed to suppress her power to make this fair. That being said, when on even ground with the woman, Purika showcased his skill. Apparently incapable of achieving the Super Saiyan form, he was far from weak. Additionally he exhibited skills of a seasoned fighter, exactly what the Empire needed. Perhaps in the near future she would pass his name onto Habana. Beyond being Queen, the woman was half-saiyan and likely understood what was needed to achieve that golden aura better than the Majin commander. Maybe, if the Queen had time, she could help him achieve it.
While Shemha observed, Meridia didn't hold back. Down the axe came with the full intent of biting deep into his torso. The demon knew Shemha could heal such wounds, a technique that most others were likely unaware the Commander possessed, and that even if she brought Purika close to death, loss of life could be avoided. Unfortunately for her, her opponent read the attack for what it was and wisely moved aside. Instead of parting flesh with the powerful downward stroke, her blade bit into the tiled floor of the dojo. Overextended thanks to the power behind the back, Meridia was open to a counter attack.
Her competent opponent didn't hesitate. First came the thud into her side, dark metal not bending much but with how tight to her form the suit was she sure felt it. A grunt came from her helmet only to be followed by another as his foot slammed into her back. Sent forward in an awkward stumble, Meridia was off balance and vulnerable to more follow up...or so it seemed. As she staggered under the power of his strikes, her right arm swung back, axe leading the way in a backswing. Whether it was luck or anticipation, Purika was already out of the way and she cleaved nothing but air.
”You're quicker than you look!” Meridia shouted as she turned to face the Saiyan, half insulting him and half complimenting him. As she faced him it almost looked like she would pause for a moment to carry on conversation, but that was far from within her character.
”Try dodging this!” The demon clearly an aggressive fighter as her right arm snapped out and that axe was sent tumbling end over end in his direction, edge aglow with energy once more. While deadly in its own right, the real strength behind this particular technique was Meridia’s ability to manipulate the magical axe as it sailed through the air. Should get dodge it the first time, a pull of her will would bring the weapon back towards him for a second attempt at connecting and then regardless of when it hit, the weapon would continue back to her hand. (It's a homing attack.) Of course Purika was soon to learn this as the weapon sailed towards him.

Purika watched as his attacks impacted, causing her to grunt. Purika was glad to see he was making some progress, causing him to the chuckle as he watched her stumble forward a bit. He quickly floated back to the ground in case she tried to go a quick counter attack, that way he wouldn't be exposed and he could prepare efficiently. Purika looked over at her, confidence in his eyes, hoping to achieve victory in this match which he knew he couldn't achieve unless he played things smart. No, it would be helpless either way, she could raise her power at any given moment and absolutely decimate him.
Her power was also lower than Shemha's own by quite a bit. He looked over to Shemha with a smirk on his face. Whatever didn't kill him would make him stronger, just how the saying went, especially with saiyans this was true. While she was still hunched over, he figured he could get one last strike in. As he prepared for one, he watched as she swung her axe back into the air. She must've thought he was there? He wouldn't remain in the same place after he just performed an attack, that would only make him look like he was a poor planner.
He didn't have time to pull out any major plans, but he could think of something smart, that was for sure. Purika listened as Meridia spoke, partly complementing and insulting him. "I'm going to take that as a compliment, thanks." Purika would respond. He didn't care for insults either way, if he did so it would only lead to his eentual downfall. Then, he watched as she swung her arm back out for a second time, shouting something out. Quickly, her hand would release the axe and it would hurl straight towards him. He had to think fast, or he would be cut in half.
Purika's eyes widened as the axe got closer, his instincts telling him to duck. With no hesitation, he would do so. The axe barely touched him, it cutting off a few hairs from the top of his head. That was close. Purika would stand again, not particularly thinking about the axe anymore. But, from what he could see she wasn't going to go and get it? Was she planning something? No, she still didn't move. His sensed kicked in, the axe was still in motion! It was still heading for him again, and it was close! He didn't have any time to prepare, was he going to die?
No. He quickly redirected some ki to his back for defence as the axe started to slice its way towards him, making a cut in his skin. It wasn't anything that would kill him, and it didn't dig deep enough. He would've died if he didn't sense that, making him grateful he'd learned how to do so. Purika would chuckle while in pain. "You're going to have to do better than that." Purika would say while throwing his arm to his back, grabbing the handle of the axe and removing it from his back. His back was bleeding, and his armor was pierced, but that was no problem.
He threw the axe to the side, before rushing at Meridia, preparing for a full on combo. "I want to see how good you are at hand to hand combat!" Purika would state as he got closer, preparing to start the barrage.

Meridia expected him to dodge the weapon on its first pass. A forward attack it was no wonder that he was able to duck below it even if several strands of hair were sacrificed in the process. The confidence he showed in having avoided the attack indicated he had no idea about what was to come and he couldn’t be blamed, all those she used it against seemed to underestimate the weighted projectile.
This day and age few warriors fought with melee weapons on a regular basis. With fists able to destroy building and sunder continents, who needed them? Meridia, despite her looks, was much older than most that walked the mortal realm. In her early days the blade and staff were far more common, tools of the trade for many. Slowly though, over the years, species as a whole crept up the power scale. These days even lowly humans were born with credible power, although few still rose to properly wield it.
Weapons being dedicated to history books in many cultures, the demon felt her expertise still provided her with an advantage. If she were able to ask Purika how many weapon masters he fought in his day, she would be shocked if the number sat higher than zero. In all reality, like with many others she came across, she was his first. That so commonly the case, her ability to wield her axe with deadly precision often granted her a tactical advantage. Rarely did the military’s of this day and age teach their soldiers to handle a bladed weapon like hers. Purika was about to learn a valuable lesson.
From her point of view, Meridia only saw the weapon slam into his back, disappearing behind his figure as it did. The fact he didn’t drop into a pool of blood hinted that he hadn’t taken the hit full on yet, neither did the axe clatter to the floor. Eyes on him, she watched as he withdrew the weapon from where it wedged into his breastplate, the obsidian blade glistening with red. Slowly a grin spread across her lips. He wasn’t down and out, but her attack connected. Impressively enough he tossed it aside with only a minor grimace of pain.
The extent of his injury unknown to her, it wasn’t enough to end the match. His challenge to engage in close combat heard loud and clear, Meridia spread her legs slightly to widen her stance as he rushed in. Prepared to meet him at close range, wide grin still hidden her helmet, she would wait till he began to strike.
When he did, her hands moved with speed equal to his. Some slapped his strikes away while others met them knuckle to knuckle in order to cancel them out. Unafraid to get physical like this, she would take to the air as they continued to exchange blows. To his credit, Purika blocked her counter strikes with the same speed and precision, neither of them landing a precise blow on the other.
Shemha continued her silent observation. Heightened senses allowed her to follow each movement of the pair with relative ease. In unison the two warriors moved with a speed undetectable to those weaker than them, but the powerful Majin was perfectly equipped to catch it all. The more she watched, the more she liked what she saw. If this gusto could be spread to the other warriors of the Empire there was no telling what sort of military strength they might be able to develop.

The combo began, Purika watching as Meridia only blocked his attacks. Purika still held a confident grin on his face, he was not hindered by the fact that his attacks were not going through, in his eyes he only had to try harder and then he might have some success. Now their fight started to extend from the area where they were originally fighting, ascending into the air and darting throughout the large dojo. This wouldn't be possible unless they were outside or the dojo was big, which it was. Shemha must've considered quite a bit while designing this.
When their knuckles collided occasionally, a shockwave could be seen pulse out before disappearing. If you weren't strong, you wouldn't be able to see this fight. "This is getting repetitive, and it is not giving me any progress." Purika would think, concentrating on Meridia to block some of her attacks and send some forward, which were most obviously blocked. Now, Purika thought what to do to shake her off. A blade seemed to do the trick last time. Purika grinned, would his blade pierce her armor or not? It certainly gave her a cut last time and stained her clothes.
Purika now began thinking quick. Once she threw her fist forward again to meet his, he would open his hand, revealing his palm as her fist crashed into it. Quickly, Purika would grip her fist, holding on tightly. Purika could think of some smart things to do quickly. Purika channeled more than average ki into his leg, giving it a red hue. Then in a flash, ki would burst from his leg forming a blade of ki. It sharpened, meant to cut deep into her armor. Purika swung his leg back before swinging it around at hers, still holding onto her if she hadn't escaped from his grip already.
While that was going on, he decided he should use his free arm which was his left arm. He reeled his arm back before channeling ki through his arms to his fingertips. Almost instantly, pellets of crimson ki would shoot from his fingertips in rapid succession intended to send Meridia back. With the armor she had on, he knew he'd have to use a constant barrage to put some force on her and also had to put some force behind it so they wouldn't be completely useless. Purika chuckled as this all went down, this was fun for him.
Now a thought came to his mind, would he ever get a chance to train with the queen? It would certainly be an honor to do so and it would be a rare opportunity. If he was training with Shemha and her friend, he figured he would fight with Habana sometime in the future. Whether or not the blade pierced her armor, he would react it before floating back, still firing the barrage of ki bullets at her. Only after a dozen or so seconds had passed would he started to let up, eventually getting back in a fighting stance.
