( Verst, Hiem-L, for this thread, even after we land in the next few hours, the thread taking place will be in mid transit! Hiem-l, for you in particular since you're an Arcosian Android or Arcosoid, you'll have been given assistance by a Brenchian cyborg named F3R0US-9, or Ferris, if you wish to nickname him.) (Thread and Current PL: 68,729) (Voca Thread PL: 51,546.75) (Using Level 3 shop. Gravity Chamber Accessible and permitted usage.) Several hours passed since the Frostar launched off from Earth and entered free space. Koldar had ordered the ship to exit hyper speed after a few hours, to signify wake up call for him and the crew. Voca, Koldar's 2nd in Command, showed Verst and Hiem-l where they'd be sleeping until wake up call was given. Hiem-l, being an Arcosoid and a new type of Android, was left in the hands of Ferris, so they could be comfortable and be able to also sink up their databases with the Frostar's in mid hyper-transit. Koldar awoke in his personal Quarters, and with a stretch coupled with a yawn, got himself ready. He took a shower in 10 minutes, dried up and dressed in spandex shorts and standard AE chest plate armor. He walked out of his room to the bridge, seeing his soldiers already at work! They all stood up, and with smiles all around, greeted the Commander! "Good Morning, Commander sir!" Koldar returned the salute and smile, responding to them, "Good morning. As you were!"The soldiers returned to their business, manning their stations as they kept the ship moving forward. Koldar looked out the open display, seeing several planetoids rush by with a bountiful amount stars glistening in white dots. Voca entered the bridge, adorned in a similar outfit to Koldar, but with long spandex and footwear, specifically boots, upon his person. "Mornin' Commander," Voca greeted Koldar, a salute given to him. Koldar did the saluted him back and Voca eased up. Koldar asked him, "Have you checked on our fellows down in the barracks yet?"Voca shook his head, which simply earned Koldar stating, "Alright, let's go visit them and get to know them."(Alright, to give a small detail on the ship, the Frostar is a massive ship, as seen here. It's got a several dozen decks, with the barracks being located near the front in between where you see the ship bay there.... A bit of other information, about the bay, that is sealed tight with large metal doors on both sides of the ship. So, in order to reach the bridge, medical bay, or even the training deck, you'll need to go up a few decks before you can get there! Welcome to the Frostar. )

Thread PL:21,782 Verst wasn't quite used to the more generic bedding of crew quarters, he was used to the captain's refined bedding. The bed was comfortable enough to rest in, but not for a true slumber. So he once again spent the night planning. His plans were usually fairly complex. But this one was on a whim. He'd heard that a new faction was forming on Konats and wanted to join it. The AE seemed fairly well organised but Verst despised the thought of serving someone out of fear not respect. Of course people serving Verst could do so out of either and he wouldn't mind.
So as he tossed and turned he planned to save money on Arcose to buy a ship to get to Konats and join the group. Soon enough the crew were out of bed awoken by loud alarms, When Voca and Koldar showed up. Verst remained resting in bed.
"Ah Koldar, it's a pleasure. Why have you come to my humble abode?" Verst gestured to the cramped bed area and his general lack of personal items. "I assume we can train shortly? I also assume that Hiem-L shall join us." Verst continued.

“You’ve got a very heavily encrypted frequency, Hiem-L,” said the Brenchian Cyborg – a figure named F3R0US-9 whom the Commander had authorised to interact with the Arcosian Android. Synchronising with the Frostar’s private network was no easy task and, lacking the sufficient equipment and capability to hack in of his own accord, Hiem-L-01 had ended up relying upon ‘Ferris’ to step him through a lot of what was necessary. A fast learner, nothing the stern-eyed cyborg said needed to be repeated, but interfacing was still proving to be a difficult task.
“Encryption is necessary given my purpose,” 01 replied: “No blunder on my part can be allowed while I am in service.”
“Understandable.” “I am afraid I cannot directly reformat the encryptions of my own accord,” the synthetic sentinel stated after a few seconds of silence. His best attempts at adjusting source data packets were met with what was essentially an immovable object – a safety net installed during the development of his protocols, likely in order to prevent intruders from tapping into his code and altering his very purpose of being to suit their needs. What better form of assassin was there than the Emperor’s trusted bodyguard? Such scenarios had most definitely crossed the Arcosoid’s mind on a whim, not to mention having been conditioned to accommodate for such things. Any ally could become an enemy at any given moment.
“It doesn’t matter,” Ferris commented dismissively, “I’ve already synced up. I’ll have to do some digging, but for now you’ll at least have basic access to the Frostar’s databases. That map you made has already been uploaded – a lot of valuable data there that we never had before. I’m surprised you walked across the ocean floor, though.”
“I will probably not be doing that again,” Hiem-L nodded: “I quickly discovered that it was an inefficient means of travel…”
“Commander on deck!” The morning hustle and bustle of the barracks came to a brief halt, many an arm raised in salute at the presence of none other than Commander Frost himself. Dressed in typical imperial armour and generally looking quite clean and fresh despite his previous look of ill health, the Arcosoid could not deny that this man’s presence had changed drastically from their first encounter. According to Ferris’ information, Koldar had been in a critical state for a while, but had recovered thanks to the aid of some sort of Terrestrial drug. Really, he had paid such facts no mind – medicine was not his thing unless it involved the Emperor’s emergency treatment.
Hiem-L saluted alongside F3R0US-9, perfectly synced.
From where Koldar stood, the two were quite a ways away, but nonetheless in the same area as Verst. The sleeping Arcosian had shown little in the way of hard activity since boarding the ship proper, much to the Arcosoid’s partial disappointment. It was not his place to scold or discipline others, however; least of all those of Arcosian descent. Indeed, he was but forged in the image of the proud race. What was in store for the remainder of their journey, he wondered…
I’ll probably be using this thread to have Hiem-L-01 unlock his new techniques and technology!

Koldar and Voca took several minutes to get down to the deck where Hiem-l and Verst were. Their feet were quick, but they took time to greet the soldiers and crew in the hall, saluting and greeting each. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits today, but still, they didn't see their guests! They reached the door, with Voca going into the room first, announcing their arrival. Everyone in the room stopped what they were doing, Verst and Ferris saluting in sync with each other! Verst, however, remained in bed, looking as though he'd been having difficulty sleeping. His tone, however, was undisciplined and demanding. Voca went around, inspecting the other soldiers there, including Hiem-l and Ferris. Koldar, however, stomped over to Verst, shouting out, "So, you think this is a private getaway, do you?! Is that right, ya damn nancy?!"Koldar got right next to him, grabbing him by the scruff of his armor and yanked him up out of the bunk! "You forget the ship and the presence you're greeted with boy! Ain't that right men," Koldar shouted out to the men in the barracks. "Sir, yessir!" "You are upon my ship and for the duration of this trip, you follow MY RULES! That means getting up like we do, eating like we do, cleaning like we do, and training the hell like we do! If you do not comprehend like we do, I will personally drill your ass until it becomes your favorite past time! Do I make myself clear, maggot," Koldar shouted, tightening his grip! ( Verst )

"SIR YES SIR! I WAS UNAWARE OF THE RULES SIR!" Verst did a salute imitating the rest of the barracks "What're your orders sir?" Verst asked to the commander locking eyes with him.
Koldar reminded him of when he was a commander of a ship. Harsh but following the rules created rewards. He could play along until they reached Arcose at least. Verst had however become quite disturbed that the sensation of being held up was continued. Verst looked at the commander again. "Can i be let down sir?"

(Moving this along.) "You're within barracks full of an entire troop of people and you don't bother asking how we do things around here," Koldar badgered, "You must think highly of yourself, maggot!"Verst asked if could be let down, to which the Commander bellowed, "Yes you can!"Koldar didn't let him down though. He continued, "You are also speaking out of line, maggot! Did I give you permission to speak? Did I give him permission to speak, Voca?""No you didn't, Commander.""Damn right I didn't! Upon me letting you down, you are to run all the way up and down this deck of this ship you're in, cleaning every single inch in 30 seconds for this infraction. The size of this deck, for your information, is about 3 foot ball fields, that sport originating on Earth where they only use their feet! You'll also be doing this with only one bottle of cleaning agent and your bare hand, in clockwise formation. Do this in a timely fashion and maybe you get breakfast and lunch," Koldar ordered, shaking him in the process, "You don't and you'll be losing not just those privileges, but you'll then be having to clean the bathrooms. Voca here will be making sure you do both of that and he doesn't like having to watch over a maggot like yourself while eating breakfast! Isn't that right Voca?"Koldar released Verst, as Voca looked awestruck and spoke to the Arcosian, "Verst, let's go! He's not joking!"The commander, meanwhile, made his way over to Hiem-L and Ferris, arms behind his back as he told them to ease themselves. He asked, "How have preparations been to settle you in, Hiem-L?"( Verst, Hiem-L)

Well, this was an interesting scene to witness. A Commander of the Imperial Fleet, Koldar Frost had seemed quite a calm and cheery individual at one moment, but that had been completely replaced by military regime. Strict, abrasive, powerful in presence – these were the marks of a veteran who had seen it all, if not been through it personally. Silent as he witnessed this display of vicious leadership, Hiem-L-01 simply took to opportunity to clean up some of his databases; there was a lot of unnecessary titbits he had been holding onto while wandering across the planet Earth, and compressing larger files on Terrestrial reactions to his presence had left quite a hefty amount of free space scattered about his storage.
At the Commander’s gesture, he dropped his salute.
“With the assistance of F3R0US-9 I have been able to synchronise successfully with the Frostar’s computer systems, Commander,” the Arcosoid explained, his glassy façade displaying an arrangement of statistical readings being taken directly from the vessel in transit – average velocity, engine status, fuel cycles, the works! “Unfortunately, due to certain encryptions implemented in my design, certain avenues of data exchange are prohibited. I am under the impression that I may need direct approval from Emperor Retsu in order for such things to become available, but that is not important at present.”
Virtual visage returning to normal, 01 looked to ‘Ferris’, and then back to Commander Frost. Many questions popped into the Android’s mind, for he wanted to make the more efficient use out of his time on the Battlecruiser as possible, but he also had some queries for Koldar that might have seemed rather odd. How much, exactly, did the Frostar’s charge know about the Arcosoid Project? Surely a man of military standing would have heard of the idea, or perhaps even be a part of it?
“Commander, I must ask,” he began: “What knowledge do you possess regarding what I am?”
Beep! “Sorry to interrupt, Hiem-L, but I think I just unlocked something of yours,” Ferris interjected. Indeed, the Cyborg had managed to cause something as of yet unknown to spark to life within the Arcosoid’s display – a series of symbols which seemed to fluctuate drastically with every turn of the head. Finally, his unusual gaze settled back upon the Commander, the values stabilising as he did so. The units 68,729 blinked. Instinctively he knew what that meant and both was impressed and taken aback by the numerical values being recorded in his network.
“This is Scouter technology, am I correct?” asked Hiem-L.
“It was locked out for some reason,” Ferris answered: “I’m surprised you didn’t know you had it built in…”
I’m sorry for the delays, I’ve been a little museless and busy.

(Sorry for the skip, Verst ! Just trying to keep this moving!) "Ah, that is myself to blame," Koldar admitted to Hiem-l, "I've not had the proper time to have all of our systems be brought up to date. When we first arrived at Planet Earth about an Earth year ago, the ship was in dangerous shape. When we got there, the ship needed to undergo some very substantial cleaning, alone, before it could be brought to the condition you see now. However, with Ferris's assistance, as well as our computation and mechanical engineering sector, I am sure you'll be able to convert the data to your much more advanced systems. It may actually be of good use that you help them do that in mid transit, Hiem-l!"The android asked about if Koldar had any knowledge about what he was. A white plated eyebrow raised up, retorting, "I'm afraid I don't-"Koldar stopped, as Ferris interrupted by managing to switch something on and verbalizing this discovery too! Numbers flickered across Hiem-l's faceplate, before coming to read Koldar's power level. Its gaze returned to normal soon after, turning to Ferris and asking about it being a built-in scouter. Ferris acknowledged it, as well as surprise about it being unknown. Koldar scratched his chin, bluntly stating, "It seems that this may be more important for you to head to that sector, Hiem-L. Ferris will direct you there..."Koldar's face turned red, as he grinded his teeth! Voca had already been on the move, getting the cleaning job done in his Battle Form! Verst? Verst had yet to even move from his spot! "Are you deaf and stupid, maggot?! Voca doing your job isn't going to get you a free pass! Disregard my orders one more time and I'll be tossing you in the brig for the duration of this trip! Now you gotta clean not just this deck, but the next 3 decks above AND below us! You've five parsecs before then and if I see you still in here, you'll be in the brig dosed on so much drugs with your arms, leg, tail, and chest smashed, your bones like dust! And you also won't get any food. Am I fucking clear or do you want to end up there, right now, like a broken ragdoll?!"( Hiem-L your go!)
