 i dare for you to tell me “please don't cry” @tagged As her fist connected with the Arcosian's head a sharp snap could be heard in the middle of her forearm, the two bones that crossed over each other having been split straight up the center of each. It happened rather quickly in truth, but for Kaile it felt a lot longer. Collapsing to her knee as her other arm quickly reached over, grasping at her forearm gently to try and hold it up. She couldn't move much of that arm for the immediate future, whilst she could it caused her a great deal of pain to do so. Staring up at the Arcosian as he dared to make his own 'offer', it was sickening. She couldn't run from this fight could she? She'd already ran from two fights against an Arcosian... And against Polara she wasn't even trying to fight, very un-saiyan like. If she ran here, again, then what would she accomplish? But perhaps Bing was right... Was there anything truly left here for her? Zucceta was gone so why bother chasing after a shadow? That's all she was doing... That's all she was, a Shadow... She wouldn't compare to her Sister, not in terms of power anyway, but what of cowardice? If she ran now... She couldn't run. If she ran then she'd never hear the end of it from herself, she'd already ran too many times for a Saiyan. "Sorry, Arcosian, A true Saiyan doesn't run... Even amidst things they cannot fight." Slowly she rose back to her feet, her arm hanging limp next to her as she looked up at him with a smirk "I'd almost say this fight was fun. Unfortunately I can't stand your kind."Rising to her full height she really wasn't that tall, just over five feet. It was at that point her aura once more began to spiral around her and flared up again, Kaile clearly wasn't backing down... Despite the clear difference in power. Her mouth slowly morphed into a twisted facial grin as she looked upwards at the Arcosian's eyes, memorizing their every single detail right down to the exact hue of the white in his eyes. "Do whatever it is you're going to do to me, Arcosian, because no matter what you do. It won't change a thing. "Its not that you're useless, Jax. You're a lot stronger than you might realize." Defrosch held up a hand to signal or a moment of patience from Jax, rummaging around his pockets, looking for something; after which he brought out a small capsule device. "I'd honestly just prefer that you and other innocent people were safe. The safety of the innocent is not a joke." He clicked the button on the capsule while tossing it forward, the trademark BOM sound effect and puff of smoke came from the activation. "However, if you really really want to indulge that fighting spirit for a moment; at least put some clothes on." The smoke dissipated, revealing a neatly folded, rather trendy business suit outfit complete with a neato gold tie! Now, the suit wasn't Jax Purple, but it was snazzy in its own right. "You can keep it, by the way. I have a bunch of 'em. Odd jobs have their perks."The Arcosian groaned as Kaile got back up again, quite adamant in sticking around. "Are you ever going to think about people as more than what they are? Or am I being a bit too optimistic?" He shook his head in disappointment. Stubbornness was an ugly thing, and Kaile was a prime example of its most grotesque form; unflinching ignorance in the face of something that questioned her views on life just by existing. "So. Acting out and getting your ass handed to you is your idea of something potentially fun? Wow. Take up a better hobby. Like fishing! Maybe you'll be a liiiiiittle better at it that Zucceta." Defrosch poured on the emphasis by making a shrinking gesture with one of his hands. "Hm? I've already done exactly what I wanted to do. I said that I would be judgement, and you have been judged." Holding his hands out to his sides, as if to encompass the whole scenario, Defrosch continued speaking. "You are pathetic. You, yourself; Kaile... You are weak and choose not to grow beyond what you believe is a 'True Saiyan', denying yourself as a person. There is much more to the universe than you think. You view it through a tinted lens much like the scouter you wear; locking onto a single thing as you miss out on the bigger picture."
Defrosch straightened out, hands behind his back. "Even she figured it out... I mean, yeah, It took a long while, but she did it. That is why she is stronger than you. Not because of a legendary golden form, nor her rule over an empire. Not because she is a Saiyan; but because she is her own person."

This new look wasn't exactly what Jax was used to. It was a bit too standard for his tastes, too subtle with it's standard black fabric. The gold tie stood out however, and something about it helped the former-purple wonder feel like a new man. Stretching in his gifted clothes to break them in, doing so by leaning over and pretending to bicycle in the air, he started to get the sense that he really could take on the monkey threat. Flipping into the air and landing on in a kneed position, he gave the Arcosian a peace sign and a smile. Jax started to feel as though he had been wrong about the scalie. Sure, he had a habit of boasting himself too much and coming off as a jerk, and his sense of justice seemed to be different from his, but he seemed to have his heart in the same place. He even recognized Jax's contributions to the fight, unlike the monkey lady who had simply ignored the dirt thrown at her and continued to threaten the scaled one, and the Arcosian also decent enough to give him proper outer-wear so that he wouldn't have to keep being focused on covering himself up.
Once again Jax's finger found itself pointing at Kalie, this time with a newfound energy behind it as it's owner put himself in a "heroic pose" with one hand on his hip and legs sturdily placed in the ground.
"I'm done giving you chances, villain!" Jax put his finger back, it now resting on his hip along with his other hand. "If you give up, this can still all be over. But so far, this doesn't seem like a simple couple's dispute. You seem to be acting as a threat to the planet, and thus you are a dispute to justice itself. You don't have to be like your sister, but seem you seem to want so badly to be her, I'll show you what happens to people like her. With MAH FISTS!"
Done with keeping his distance in the fight, the gold-colored glittery "hero" using his abilty of flight to rush down to the Saiyan's position and prepared his fist in such a way that if it landed it would hit her on the top of the head and send her toward the ground. The speed at which he found himself doing so, however, was unlike anything he had before. It was in these few second Jax began to notice his own surge of energy throughout himself, yet he was not sure to what extent his power had reached. If his attack was successful, he would follow up with an attempt to wrap his arms around the extraterrestrial woman so that he could grapple her, allowing for the Arcosian to get more proper blows in on her to put her down. In the few seconds he had started to properly fight, Jax could only smile to himself, not being able to even attempt to hide his excitement.
"I am that hero...I have become that hero..."

i dare for you to tell me “please don't cry” @tagged Kaile chuckled at the Arcosian as Jax himself stood back up and began to speak, her head tilted downwards towards the ground as she let her chuckle die off and merely stood there in silence. He allowed this 'hero' to finish his speech, the one courtesy she'd allow. It was then that he rushed her, in an attempt to probably knock her unconscious or the like. Whilst Kaile could likely easily block or dodge out of the attack, she would instead give this 'hero' exactly what he wanted. As he launched himself forward Kaile's hands rose together, a spherical red ball of Ki appearing between her hands "Final Ki Flash Bang" She said softly, Looking upwards towards Jax as he descended upon her and firing off a large beam directly towards the male. His Power Level might've been higher than hers, but even he couldn't simply tank one of her strongest attacks like it was nothing. Though Jax might not see it, or notice it, Defrosch likely could... There was a difference in how she unleashed her attack this time, it was more of a deterrent than an actual attack despite it being one of her most powerful ones. Her head then turned back to Defrosch, listening to his finishing statement and only speaking up once he was finished "So what you're implying, Arcosian, is that every single thing that I've lived for, bled for, fought for, is a complete lie? Every single thing?" Her eyes narrowed at the Arcosian, but there was a different look about her now... Kaile, while still clearly furious with this Arcosian's presence, was at least for the time being willing to listen. "Then how about this, Arcosian, I will do as Bing said. I will leave Earth, as he said there is nothing more for me here correct? Then I shall take my leave. I will return, in time, and I will seek you out, though I cannot say if this will be as an enemy or something else entirely. But for the time being I shall think on your words, perhaps you are right... But I doubt it. And because I doubt your words are correct I am willing to do this one thing, it isn't much but it's a start... Right, Arcosian?" Her eyes took on a more venomous tone to them as she finished her statement "After all, new look should mean a new outlook right?" In truth she really didn't believe anything this Arcosian said, but hey if it's all a lie like she suspected then this would merely prove her right. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out a small device, aiming to press 4 buttons on the device that seemed like coordinates. "My pod will be here momentarily, Assuming you are actually allowing me to leave, then I will do so." She never once actually looked to see if Jax was still trying to attack her, but she assumed once he realized she had, at the very least, stopped to listen instead of fighting that he'd back off himself. It took, as she said, only a few moments before her pod arrived and landed, once it opened Kaile began to step inside and seat herself. Looking back towards the Arcosian "And what I meant was that I would've had fun fighting someone who wasn't my enemy." And with that, her pod would close and Kaile's signature would vanish along with it as the pod itself vanished from sight to who knows where. Techniques Used:

"Sorry Jax, change of plan!" Fortunately; Defrosch was a sharp as ever; and was able to get between the descending Jax and Kaile's attack quickly once again. To him, the feeling of it's impact was barely any more significant than light rope burn on his outstretched hand. With a small kiai he dispersed the remainder of the blast. "It is a lie if you deny the existence of any other possible truth in your life.""Much like how there is nothing here for you on this planet if you do not allow something to be here for you." With a swipe of his arm, he cast away the dust that had once again been agitated by the flow of energy. Defrosch noticed Kaile's change in mood immediately. Perhaps she wasn't as dense as he anticipated. She saw some form of reason, go so far as to reference the encounter with Bing at his dojo. If she had done as the Serpent Master had said back then... Well, a great many things would certainly be different. "A potentially new outlook on life, hm?" Defrosch let Kaile speak her part. She was starting to make some sense, albeit hesitantly. She would have doubts, of course; Defrosch expected that much in the end. Truth be told he didn't really expect her to back off 'peacefully' at any point either. "Yeah. More or less." Patiently awaiting the arrival of Kaile's pod; Defrosch made himself ready to restrict Jax's movements if he made any to impede the Saiyan's departure. With a quick look to the human he spoke. "We did it. You can relax now."Watching as Kaile prepped her pod, and just before she went on her merry way... "Oi, 'princess'!" Defrosch had one last thing to say as he put on a smirk. "Do me a favor and don't get die then. I might hate your guts right now, but who knows! Maybe we can have an actual proper fun match sometime!"

i dare for you to tell me “please don't cry” @tagged And just like that, Her space pod vanished along with her signature. Where it had gone was a mystery, as it did not reappear. Perhaps she went into space, perhaps she went to another area on earth... Time may only be able to tell, Perhaps she would remain here on earth... still seeking her revenge, perhaps she would leave and think on the words Bing and Defrosch both said. Though her intentions were unknown, one thing was for certain... She was going to return one day, and only on that day would Defrosch, or anyone else for that matter, know whether she had changed or not. Techniques Used:

A well deserved sigh of relief left Defrosch as any remaining tension in his body no longer existed. 'You did good, Defrosch. You did good.' He thought to himself, simply remaining in his moment of peace; eyes closed, listening to the silence of the night. If Kaile remained on Earth and began to cause cause problems for people, he would be there to get in her way. Though his preference in general was for her to leave the planet and get her shit together, if she remained on Earth and decided to chill out; that was fine by him too. After a while, Defrosch slowly walked back towards Ginger town with a short wave to Jax. As the Arcosian hero went on his way, he looked up at the stars; near enough seeing a vision. It was vision of his mother; Polara Thermia , smiling, proud of her boy and the decision he made despite the pain it could've caused him. "I hope I made you proud, Ma."Something about what he saw felt... Oddly real, and it gave him peace. Whatever realm his mother resided in now, she was safe.
I have been given permission to use Polara as an NPC once again, as their player wishes to archive them. THREAD EXIT... Nobody remains to stop me, as they have been skipped. I'd like Zeni please~ |
