There would be no escaping the after life this time, it seemed. After his last drunken escapade in the living world, the ogres had kept a close eye on Jack. This was a time of great stress for the orges, as cosmic events were weakening the barrier between here and the mortal realm. Jack was caught poking around in caves in the outlands, looking for a tare in the fabric of the other world. He now found himself locked inside of a cage hanging several feet off of the ground and lifted by a gnarly iron pole. Like a canary, the ghost was helpless to escape his prison made of powerful oni steel.
Even the cosmic imbalance that caused a massive surge in Jack's power wasn't giving him enough strength to break his bonds, and with the mortal plane nearer than usual he felt an extreme desire to be free. Whenever he was in the mortal world, he felt the bliss of many a drink in his head... whenever he was here in hell he was in the constant state of a hangover. Driven to rage by his situation and the unstable energy that was flowing through his essence, Jack had resorted to the most furious of assaults...
Verbal assault...
"You know you are probably the worst ogre that i've ever seen. Do you even lift?" Jack yelled at a blue ogre bearing one of the 'HFIL' jumpsuits, who was resting up against the pole. The poor soul had been tasked with watching Jack's cage. "and that gut! I have a feeling I know why ensinji fruit are so rare, you chubby bastard,"
"K-Knock it off!" the ogre yelled with a smallest hint of depression in his voice. He had been putting up with Jack's ranting for several hours now. "I... I work a lot of long hours,"
"Doing what? Sitting on your bum watching cages?" Jack said. "Your mother must be so proud..."
The ogre didn't respond, lowering his head. He didn't want to admit it, but the ghost was beginning to really hurt his feelings.
"I thought so," Jack said angrily. "Maybe you should spend less time harassing good citizens and more time at the gym, you low ranking loser," 3,300pl. x12 trans. Heavy Weights. Group Bonus. LMB. No Afterlife bonus.

Tomoyo sighed a bored and melancholic sigh as he aimlessly floated along the ever spanning realms of Hell. He didn't know for how long he had been traveling around and, to be frankly honest, the child didn't really care. Tomo had been dead for quite some time and, ironically, he had learned to "live" with it. There was the fleeting promise in the back of his mind to help Tulip return to the land of the living, but as the days sprawled by with no sight of his female friend, the chances grew slimmer and grimmer.
His wispy, white tail lazily dragging along the ground as he floated foreward, Tomoyo's ethereal eyes were glazed over; not really even looking at the land around him... well, that is to say, until he saw a peculiar sight that he had not seen before.
Maybe you should spend less time harassing good citizens and more time at the gym, you low ranking loser,
The spirit's head snapped upwards, his previously unfocused gaze now squinted at the subject of the loud noises that were now plaguing his ears. "...what's...that?" Tomo wondered aloud, his faint voice barely traveling among the radius of his own being before dimming to a null. In all his time in hell, the hybrid child had never once witnessed such a strange spectacle... a person actually being imprisoned? Why would they even need to imprison people in what was essentially already a prison?! The preposterous of the sight sparked a small glint of curiosity in the boy's mind, urging him onward until he finally approached the strange ogre next to the cage.
"Excuse me?" Tomoyo's small voice rang out, his small hand softly tugging on the blue ogre's jumpsuit in an attempt to garner his attention. Slowly, he'd point a hand at the quite angry sounding ghost imprisoned in the cage... "What's that?" For some reason, its voice sounded eerily familiar. It was as if he had somehow heard one like it a long time ago... but if it did, the instance slipped Tomo's mind entirely at the moment.

“N-nothing!” the blue ogre replied to the incoming cloud, sniffling a bit. It was quite obvious by the frown on the creature’s face that he was upset at being heckled by the spectre behind him. It had after all been days, and Jack had showed no signs of stopping his harassment.
“Nothing huh?” Jack said, grabbing against the bars of the cage with his darkened claws. He grinned down at the spirit and the ogre, tough a look of annoyance was apparent in his eyes. Jack of course, could not see Tomoyo’s form, and he had very little memory of his past life. There was only the faintest familiarity with the voice of the spirit, though he showed no signs of recollection. “Hey there powder puff!” Jack said, he considered the spirits that he saw day to day as ‘normies’ and usually paid little attention to him. He doubted that the spirit could be of little help to him getting out without a body, but perhaps it was worth a try. “This blue buffooon has wrongfully imprisoned me,”
“That’s not true, he keeps finding ways to esca-” the orge began, stopping himself. Ghosts like Black Jack were rare, and the ogre’s tried to limit knowledge about them to regular spirits in hopes of keeping their population down. “He is a trouble maker! Don’t listen to anything he says…”
“Come on, poof, he’s got the wrong guy!” Jack pleaded. “He is a dumb idiot and he locked me up for no good reason!”
“Hey!” the ogre said, frowning. “I’m getting tired of your name calling!”
“I’m getting tired of your ugly face,” Jack snapped back.

N-nothing!
Tilting his head slightly in passive confusion, Tomoyo looked on at the bickering Ogre and Ghost in bored fascination. He had never seen a being quite like the black, mouthy figure before; so this was a relatively interesting interaction for the child when taking into account his previous few months spent in near solitude. "...how come your locking him up?" Tomo uttered, tugging once more on the Blue Ogre's pant leg while being his neck back slightly to look up at him. What was even the point of locking someone up in what was practically already a prison?
That’s not true, he keeps finding ways to esca-
At the ogre's self-interrupted words, Tomoyo's eyes widened slightly. His gaze whipped back to the overacting ghost with a newfound interest. "...he knows how to escape?" The hybrid spirit pondered in his quiet mind, his eyes focused intently on Jack. What if by "escape", the emotionally disturbed guard meant "escape hell!" The leg-less soul had already begun to suspect there being a way to get out of the afterlife after hearing news from Tulip of his si-...of Tekuma resurrecting to murder her. If this ghost guy knew how to do it, had done it before, then this might be the child's best chance to find out himself!
"Hrm." Clearing his throat quietly, Tomoyo put a little more emotion into his eyes before turning his gaze back up at the Ogre. "U-Um... Excuse me mister... I think you look kinda tired." He clasped his hands together, smiling innocently with a faint smile. "If you want, I can watch him for a while! It's not like he's gunna get out?" Smiling while trying to put a plan into motion to talk to this Black spirit, Tomoyo floated around in a circle before wriggling his tail a bit. "I can't really do anything too. I don't even have legs..." At this statement, the half-human soul cast his gaze wistfully back down towards his wriggling lower appendage; the child's expression falling at the self reminder of his own situation. Legs were one of the biggest things he missed about being alive... but if this Black Spirit guy could tell him how to go back, Tomo'd get that and more!

“Wow, that is really nice of you!” the ogre replied with a smile as the puff ball said he would watch the cage for him. He then frowned. “Hey, wait a minute! I can’t let you do that, i’d get in trouble!” the ogre said shaking his fist.
“Awe, poor little orge is going to get in twouble,” Jack said with a heckling laughter following behind it.
“Enough!” the ogre growled. “I’m so tired of this. I need a break…you, you’ll watch this ghost until I get back, if he gets away it is your fault!” the blue ogre said. “I’ll only be gone for a little bit, don’t mess it up!”
With that the blue ogre got up and quickly moved away from the caged spirit and Tomoyo. He moved so quickly that he was gone in a matter of moments, out of sight behind nearby crags.
“Hah, I thought he’d never leave,” Jack said mustering up a grin. “How’s it going powder puff?” Jack asked in an attempt to amuse himself. Tomoyo sorry about the delay.

At first, Tomoyo was worrying for a bit as the Ogre refused his initial offer. He was so sure that something like that would work, the deceptive hybrid had even put on his most innocent child old voice for the guy and the spineless blue guard barely budged for a second. Sighing inwardly, Tomo had just about given up, shrugging his shoulders and resolving to leave the ghost to his imprisoned doom when a stroke of luck seemed to occur on the part of Black Jack himself. Awe, poor little orge is going to get in twouble,Stifling a smile at the caged Ghost's incessant insulting, even though it was a bit mean, Tomoyo wavered patiently while the two of them went back and forth. " He's probably not gonna leave." The doubtful hybrid spirit chided himself mentally, still pretty pessimistic about the whole situation. " I mean, this place is like the world's best prison. There's no way a guard would just leave that easil-" I’ll only be gone for a little bit, don’t mess it up!" ...wow." The appalled child couldn't help but utter out loud as the "stalwart" guard ogre stormed off practically in tears from the constant emotional stress. Just looking at him made Tomoyo feel a little bad about tricking him like that; he knew from experience that being bullied wasn't very nice... but there were more important matters at hand than worrying about an Ogre's emotional state. Twisting his body in the air to the cage, Tomoyo raised an eyebrow while appraising Black Jack's mischievous expression. Puffing out his cheeks a bit at the jerk's demeaning insult, Tomo cleared his throat trying to work up a response. " Hi... Um... What did that guy mean by you keep trying to escape? Did he mean that cage?" Tilting his head in an inquisitorial gesture, the ephemeral voice of the half-human echoed into the now silent atmosphere. If this guy knew the way to get out of hell, he just had to find out! ...no matter what.
