How long had he been in this place? Greeve had long since lost track of the time. Then again, time never seemed to move in this place, and the disembodied demon never really bothered to keep track of the time anyway. But after all this time of wandering around, exploring the afterlife, Greeve knew he had to get out. But how? The demon had yet to even recover his own body. To be honest, seeing people recovering their own physical forms, and then disappearing (most likely returning to the land of the living), irritated the spirit. He made a mental note to hunt them down once he was back in the land of the living, and send them back to hell.
However, it seemed like things had changed. Greeve had been wandering around in the lowermost depths of Hell when he came across it. A sort of tear in the fabric of reality. The air around it distorted, as the bright light emitting from it made it difficult for Greeve to see just what was beyond it. Was it a way back to the land of the living, or to some alternate dimension entirely? Wherever it went, no doubt there was life on the other side. Life for the demon to extinguish. But should he go through? He still did not have a body, and what would happen if he left Hell without one? Would he cease to exist?
If I fade away, then I've failed in my purpose. If I don't go through, then I've also failed.
Without a word, Greeve began to push his way through the crack. Thankfully, lacking a physical form, he was able to slide through the gap in reality easily enough. The bright light made it almost impossible to see.
And then Greeve opened his eyes, finding himself standing in the middle of a wasteland. He looked up at the blue sky, he could feel the wind blowing through him. This had to be the land of the living. Where else could it be? Greeve looked down to see his own body. He had somehow regained a physical form? Was gaining it in the afterlife only some way to distract spirits from escaping sooner? Looking at himself though, he began to notice something. His body was completely solid. It had a slightly transluscent quality to it.
I'm...still dead? I guess I did need that body to regain my life...But I'm still here...
He reached out to a nearby rock, managing to scoop it up in his hand. He could still interact with the world around him. It just meant that he was still dead. A sort of spirit. A small smile appeared on Greeve's pale face. This was an ideal state for him. Not alive, and able to walk amongst the living. The perfect form for him to carry out his work.
Without another word, he took off into the sky. He didn't have a particular destination in mind. He just knew he had to make up for lost time.

Greeve has been revived.
As he has left the AL without gaining a body, Greeve's race has been changed to GHOST.
