Cipher sat quietly on a small cliff, overlooking the expansive plains of Namek. There was a peaceful beauty to this place that the pale android appreciated, but beneath it all he knew there was an underlying layer of fear and potential conflict. The Dragon Balls themselves proved to be an enticing target to anyone with dark desires, and after the catastrophe that was Realigner Red, fear seemed to have gripped the populace in case something like that happened again.
The Dragon Balls. They had been the reason Cipher had come here. After hearing about the death of Tekuma, the android had become determined to get stronger, to prevent anymore deaths. Sure, he knew that in regards to death, strong individuals like Tekuma could make their way back to the land of the living. He had seen it accomplished before. But the fact that Tekuma had to go through the experience of dying in the first place had really shaken Cipher to the core. He remembered almost losing Porsalynne some time ago, and had never wanted to lose another loved one after that. Losing Tekuma was like a personal failure to him.
After that, Cipher had planned to use the dragonballs to wish for strength. For the ability to properly defend those he cared about. To defend all life.
But after his meeting with the guru of Namek, as well as the majin Shemha, Cipher had begun rethinking his stance on it all. Was it really the proper way to go? Sure, it would make him stronger, but would it really make him a better defender? His reminder of Realigner Red showed that simply having incredible strength didn't make one a great defender. No, simply wishing for it wouldn't solve his issues.
But then, what was he to do? He didn't have the strength to deal with any real threats to the universe, and as he had learned in the past, diplomacy wasn't always an option. More often than not, most people resorted to violence. Cipher couldn't bring himself down to that level. He felt all life should be preserved, to be cherished.
Cipher let out a groan as his face fell into his hands. What was he to do?

Thread PL - 3,024,075/3,628,890
Shemha’s mind could not get past her encounter with the pale skinned android. His appearance was unexpected, unforeseeable and in general left her a little unnerved. Her uneasiness wasn’t because of the power the robot possessed, but his timing. The Dragon Balls, mystical spheres of power summoned on Namek and within days the robot arrived. Not to mention that his first known action was a run in with the current Guru in which his initial intent was to claim the 5 star ball. In the end he left on good terms, but what would have happened if Shemha did not arrive when she did? That extended hand could very well have found its way through the young Accordio’s chest.
The Guru asked that she trust this android, give him a chance to prove he wished to help and his words were not false. A chance would be given, she respected the Namekian enough to not act out against the machine, yet that did not mean she was prevented from investigating him further.
Normally one of his kind was hard to find, their lack of a signature making them rather proficient at remaining hidden…and perfect candidates for assassins. Thankfully, her SSE issued scouter was advanced enough to find even artificial sources of energy. With the simple press of a button it displayed the signatures within range, calibrated at the moment to search only for ones logged in its database. It wasn’t long before she located him. A decent distance away, the space between them meant little in terms of travel time to someone of her power.
Into the air the Majin went, power on full display so that she could access every ounce of it to travel. No malicious intent within her, she felt no need to approach with any semblance of stealth. In moments she was within visual range and seconds after that, she jolted to an abrupt halt several yards in front and above the mechanical humanoid.
”Hello again, android. Forgive me, but I never caught your name during our last…interaction.” Shemha began, the choice of her words deliberate. Her tone remained neutral to indicate she offered no threat nor did she come off as outright friendly. For now she chose to remain in the air, arms casually tucked behind the small of her back.

Cipher was drawn from his thoughts by a powerful, and familiar energy approaching him. The android's teal eyes turned upward as he saw the dark pink form of the majin Shemha approaching him, stopping not far off and addressing him. "Ah, greetings," Cipher replied, as he floated upwards until he was eye level with the majin, his four arms held behind his back, "Forgive my rudeness. I am Cipher 24," he replied, giving her a polite bow. Why was the majin here? Had the guru sent her here to check up on him? Did she come here to possibly eliminate an android threat? No, that couldn't be it. She would have attacked him by now, instead of dealing formalities. Her appearance here was quite perplexing. "I trust that the Guru and the Dragon Ball are safe?" Cipher spoke up, trying to think of anything to say until he learned why she was here, "I've yet to encounter any of the other Dragon Balls, but I will let you know once I do." He couldn't help but feel some apprehension for her sudden appearance, but kept it hidden under a calm demeanor. Shemha

(Hello hello..!) (Thread PL: 156,911) Alaistair had made his way out of the Loft today, the continued plan of scouting this planet being the plan today. He needed a better idea of what was on this planet. Should he and his partners start a attack to take the planet over and suddenly be attacked by the likes of someone around the Queen's strength, then they'd be 'Kapootz'! The devil had searched the area near the Loft, and from what he could tell, there were many substantial powers there. He'd have to search elsewhere, closer undoubtedly to the Moori Capital, where his last defeat was. The devil closed his eyes, lowering his energy to a substantially lower the power he was showing to being nothing more than that of a common animal on this planet. Alaistair's senses were directed towards the mainland, a presence similar in strength Xylo's lingering there! There was another part of its nature... Something Alaistair couldn't put his finger on that seemed to be bug him more than it should've. His nose flared, as he raised an eye brow. "It couldn't be on of those... Only one way to find out, of course," Alaistair huffed, leaping forward to a bunch of near by isles, making a beeline towards the impressive power grazing his senses! The power was a good distance off, but 5 minutes of island leaping like a frog allowed Alaistair to reach the individual...s? Alaistair immediately took cover in the rocks of a near by island, not nearly close enough for him to hear the conversation happening at the cliff! His eyes weren't deceiving him though... There were two people there, and one was a damned descendant of that... THING! Al was having some difficulty keeping his cool, thinking, "Great, another one of these damned pink... What's going on here? I need to get closer, but I need to make sure they didn't see me..!"For a moment, Alaistair's energy flared up to about five hundred, before dropping back down to ten in this moment. He had to make himself scarce! Without hesitation, Alaistair delved into the water, rather heavier than he intended. He proceeded to go even deeper into the water, searching for a spot that he could hide inside so he'd not so easily be tracked! ( Cipher 24, your go!) (Current PL: 10, then 500, and then back to 10. Cipher 24 was his name, a small nod of her head returned as he dipped into a bow. If she hadn’t been dealing with an android the name would have been strange. Instead it fit, just like the model of her ship. Silently she was unsure if the twenty four meant he was the 24th unit in a line or simply the 24th attempt at his build. Regardless, he looked to be the only one of his kind on Namek. Based on what she knew of these creatures, the less their numbers the better. Cipher 24 alone possessed the power to threaten the planet if he wished. Shemha understood the Guru’s unease.
”Accordio is fine as is the Dragon Ball.” She responded calmly, no reason to be outright rude towards the machine. Her goal here was information and perhaps further understanding of the creature and its presence here. Whether his concern for the Guru and his magical sphere was out of personal desire for them or genuine care, it didn’t matter at the moment. Nor did his intent to search for more of the spheres, what she wanted to know revolved around another issue.
”I haven’t come to question you about the Dragon Balls. My curiosity lies with something you said the last time we crossed paths.” Shemha stated as she chose to use the word curiosity instead of a less than savory term. He likely understood the bias view she had of him, but there was no reason to openly state it here.
”You mentioned that your daughter was no longer among the realm of the living. How did she die?” She asked. The Majin wanted to question how an android could even have a daughter, yet even though she didn’t trust Cipher, she would not cross the line with such a bluntly rude question. Instead she planned to decipher the riddle with a roundabout list of questions.
As she questioned him, Shemha remained unaware of the company the two had attracted. Though her scouter beeped once to display the spike in the creatures signature, it was only about five hundred, not enough to draw her eye when an android equal to her own strength stood before her.

Cipher gave a small nod. She was free to ask any questions she liked. Cipher wasn't planning on hiding anything. After all, diplomatic relations was about being open with your friends. When she asked about his daughter, Cipher's eyes fell, a wave of sadness running through him. "She...she was killed, by a bio android on Earth." Cipher explained, "Though Earth's defenders dealt with her, they had failed to save her. I...I didn't have the strength to defend her..." Cipher let out a sigh before looking back at Shemha. Why was she curious about her? Then a thought occured to Cipher, and a rueful smile appeared on his face. "She was adopted, just so you know. I figured you might be curious how an android could have a daughter. That was the case. Her family had been killed when a monster attacked one of our cities. She had no one for her, so I took her in." He looked down at one of his hands. "It's almost maddening you know, to have this strength, yet being unable to use it to protect anyone. Any time a major threat hits, I'm still too weak to deal with it. That was...that was why I came here...why I initially wanted the dragons balls. I...I didn't want to be another failure..."Cipher sighed as his hand fell to his side. "But...I'm not so sure anymore. If I have to harm others in order to be able to defend others, then what's the point? But at the same time, I simply cannot just do nothing either." Out of the corner of his mind, he noticed the small flare of energy, but gave it little notice. Right now, his attention was focused on the Majin before him. How would she respond to his answers? The presence of the Majin didn't seem to shift towards him... Alaistair couldn't say the same about the second person he saw, who was strangely without energy. The Devil wasn't able to get a good lay out of the island and the cliff they were on. It did, however, appear to hang out from the water below. "Have to keep calm and collected on this... No telling what's being discussed," Alaistair thought to himself, as he neared the shadowy form of the rockwall just below where the Majin was. At this point, he had to simply climb up! He first peeked out of the water, taking a moment just to hold his breath a bit longer and see if he couldn't hear what was going on above. The water was fairly tame, not much crashing against the rocks either! One of the voices, clearly masculine, had been speaking. It was still muffled though, due to the water in Alaistair's hair conforming to the shape of his ear. Alaistair brushed the black locks back, finally hearing the end of the man's statement! Whomever this person was, the voice was... Actually familiar? He knew heard that voice from somewhere before, but his memory was foggy. He thought to himself, "Who on that person up there with that Majin..?"(Post goes back to Shemha! )

Shemha understood what loss was. The only reason she joined the SSE was because she lost her former master. If it wasn’t for that fateful day, she wouldn’t even be here right now. When explained the power of the Dragon Balls, the thought had crossed her mind that she could bring Ront back, yet others wanted and desired so much more. How could she justify the life of one when Accordio wish to protect many? The idea of a wish for herself only faintly crossed the Majin’s mind, the female raised to be selfless.
Something else she understood was the feeling of failure he detailed in his answer. While she didn’t classify it exactly the same, she knew what it was like to feel useless in situations. A dedicated soldier and loyal friend, her time with the Empire revealed to her how much she lacked the strength to compete with so many. On multiple occasions those she knew surpassed her with what seemed ease, Shemha always attempting to catch up. Thanks to the Guru she finally felt somewhat equal to the others, yet after her recent run in with the creature known as Walker, she was painfully aware of how much stronger she needed to be. Even so, she still felt selfish anytime the idea of using the magical spheres crept into her head.
Regardless of the similarities between them, the circumstance they found themselves in made it impossible for Shemha to fully sympathize with him. Whatever his reasons, real or falsified, she simply didn’t know him beyond his own words. It was true he agreed to help, that gesture having won him some points, but true action was yet to be seen.
”I do not lust for power, but sometimes violence is the only solution.” Shemha attempted to clarify in regards to his final two sentences. She was polite and well mannered, but also a killer though few new to what extent. ”You must fo…” She was about to continue when the scouter over her right eye beeped again. A quick shift of her dark pools confirmed the signature that was now relatively close to her…only about fifty feet away.
It was low, non-threatening to someone like her, yet stronger than what most non sentient creatures were capable of. While Cipher’s words conveyed some of whom the android was and hinted that he might be honest in his desires on this planet, the unidentified signature armed numerous alarms. Was he not alone like he portrayed or was this simply too curious for its own good? With her past thought abandoned she looked back to the pale skinned machine, lips a thin line.
”Did you travel to this planet alone?” She questioned, as she allowed him a chance to come clean should this lurking signature belong to one of his allies.

The Majin seemed to take in his words, not simply discarding them as lies, like a part of the android feared she might. However, part way through her response, the scouter on her face beeped, getting her attention, causing Cipher to blink. Then came the natural response. "I came here with my fiance and my other daughter," Cipher replied honestly, "But neither of them are combatants in any way." Well, Charlene might, but she wasn't exactly a major threat to anyone. Just a handful. As he said this though, he took the time to scan his surroundings, finally picking up on what the Majin might be sensing. A low power, but stronger than normal. It seemed someone had been listening in on them. Cipher mentally scolded himself for not noticing the power sooner. He had allowed himself to be distracted by the Majin. Cipher slowly turned to the direction he was sensing the power from. Somewhere below them, in the water? "Whoever is down there, come on out?" Cipher spoke up, his voice loud enough for whoever was down there to clearly hear him, "I'm sure you've been told it's rude to spy on others."Alaistair

Alaistair looked above, bobbing his head out of the water and catching some of their conversation, before they suddenly looked down at the water, in the Devil's general area! He let himself sink back under the surface, breath held as he peered back up. He thought to himself, "I don't think I could've been spotted so easily... That one has to be some sort of Android! It would only explain why I can't sense him. Hmm... He seems fairly upgraded, yet he most certain- NO TIME FOR THAT! I have to hide myself..!"
The Devil looked around in the water, as he sunk down further. The depth he was at was making the light a bit scarcer than normal, but not to the point he couldn't see what was around. Much of the islands near seemed to be only about a couple meters deep, sometimes though being much deeper with their size. However, compared to the massive wall before him, they may as well have been pebbles.
Alaistair used his tail to help him move a bit faster in the water, as he looked for any gaps in the rocks. If the Majin felt as though she were moving, he'd dart into the first one near by. Hopefully, it'd give the ruse that he were just some marine-life on this planet!
(Al's sunk back underwater, about may be 30 ft, I want to say, if we were to talk spacing.)

Cipher’s family appeared to extend even farther. One dead “daughter” along with a fiance and second daughter. His mechanical nature considered, Shemha assumed that this other daughter shared no biological relation to the android, but another case of adoption. As for his fiance, she did not judge any on matters of love. Rather dense to such emotions and relationships, she rarely focused on them unless they carried a relevance to a specific task.
Whomever or whatever this strange signature she sensed behind her appeared to be no ally of Cipher 24. As the robot turned so did she, curiosity now in control as she moved closer to the ledge that over looked the body of water below. She saw nothing from her vantage point save faint ripples that ran across the waters surface. While such a small disturbance could have hinted at the presence of another within the green water, it could just as likely be the result of some aquatic animal breaching the surface. She saw no hint of either.
However, she could sense the signature beneath the surface. Now focused on her naturally ability to sense she felt the energy source differently. Her scouter on provided surface information, but ones natural ability could detect more than that, it could tie the signature to those already known and look for similarities. Having just met the demon Xanara a few days prior, she remembered clearly the sensation of this type of signature, a demon.
”I would head the androids words creature. We can both track your signature with you this close so there is no point in continuing to conceal yourself.” Shemha added as her voice grew louder to hopefully reach into the water below. Even if he didn’t hear her, she now stood on the edge of the ledge in clear few, the vantage point also offering her a clear few of the water below. Unless he could hold his breath for ever, he would eventually be noticed no matter where he rose from the depths.

Cipher remained quiet as he tried to track the power. It was small, small enough to make focusing on it difficult. However, once he had the signature, he was able to follow its movements. It signature was definitely something not of this world, and it didn't look like it was going to come out anytime soon. "It seems words aren't going to bring it out of hiding," Cipher murmured, sending a small glance over to Shemha. Then, without a word, he lifted off of the ground, moving until he was hovering over the water. He kept his eye on the power level beneath him, trying to pinpoint its location. After all, he didn't intend to hurt whoever was down there. Just scare them out of hiding. Giving Shemha a reassuring smile, energy began to charge up in his hands. He suddenly brought them together above his head, and in a flash of light, several white missiles of energy shot up, and then rained down into the water. He wasn't intending on hitting the power hiding beneath them, and the missiles woulde detonate in the water, not damaging the surrounding area, just splash up a lot of water. Hopefully this show of power would get their little spy to come on out of hiding. --- Used Star Fall [N1] PL 1,016,644. Divided into 30 missiles. Missile PL 33,888. "Damn it, I can't find a... Shit, wait! I remember now! It was Ciph...er..."
Alaistair felt the presence of the Android, feeling it around the same strength as the damn Majin above! Alaistair didn't have time to get get annoyed though, as the water soon became peppered by missiles. The Devil had to start moving quickly, having to delve deeper just so the attacks coming out didn't come near him! The water was getting colder, but the missiles were erupting all around him, creating shockwaves in the water that pushed him further away..!
"I have to get out of here," Alaistair thought rushed, as he nearly slammed into a rock, "Clearly I won't be able to spy on these people for further information... However, I think this is good enough to work with!"
Alaistair raised his power level up just enough to match a singular missile's power, exerting his energy just so he could speed away from the location! The shockwaves would help provide Alaistair some momentum to get out of there faster, and as soon as he was several hundred meters away, he'd lower his power as he breached the surface of the water, gasping for air before swimming to the closest island and crawling up it.
"Ahugh, ahugh! Ah damn it," Alaistair coughed, spewing up some water and feeling his body become fairly tight, "Gotta... Not do that again any time soon..! Ahugh! Now where am I a- OH DAMN IT! I went the opposite direction of the Loft!"
He wouldn't have been able to tell where he was, were he not able to recognize the feint presences of Arthus, Dorgia, and Eres! He cursed, as he soon begun hop scotching island to island again... He wasn't having the best of time gathering information for him and his allies to use. Yet, it should help them in the end..!
(I'll be taking a leave now! Things're getting too hairy for Alaistair's liking. So, I'll be taking Power Level here!)

Shemha agreed with Cipher’s comment, whatever this creature was it was intent on remaining hidden below the water’s surface. Rarely the aggressive type, her dark eyes shifted to follow the pale android as he took to the air. His smile offered some reassurance, but the neutrality of her expression remained. Always in control of her emotions, there was no reason to display acceptance or support of whatever it was he intended, the fact she hadn’t made a move to intercept him was a clear enough message. In silence she watched him gathered energy before he unleashed it on the green liquid below. The technique possessed its own element of beauty, the meteor like fall of each blast akin to something you might see streak the night sky. Technique wise, she possessed nothing like it, something she noted for potential use in the future.
As beautiful as the technique was, Ciphers attempt to draw out the creature below possessed one exploitable drawback. Bolts of white energy rained down into the water below and along with the churning water, the barrage of blasts clouded her senses. Whatever it was they were attempting to draw out was weak enough as it was and the machines blasts served only to mask their target from her for a moment. By the time the water began to settle, it was lost to her. A slight twitch of her left brow was the only sign of irritation the Majin showed.
”It seems the mystery will remain.” She stated calmly as her eyes slowly scanned the surface of the lake. With nothing in sight they returned to the floating robot. ”Regardless of what it was, you said you were not alone here on Namek. This family of yours, where are they?” The Majin asked as she shifted gears back to the conversation they were in the middle of before being interrupted. From her standpoint, the more information she had on Cipher the better, yet to ask about the location of his family might come off as slightly suspicious.
Not malevolent in nature, she didn’t directly seek to lean about them for the advantage they might provide in the future. However, if the right scenario presented itself she wasn’t entirely against it. Shemha understood the need for sacrifice in this world and was far from trading the lives of a few for the many. Hopefully it would never come to that.

Unfortunately, Cipher's attempt to smoke out whoever was spying on them didn't turn out as Cipher had planned. Instead, the little spy took the blasts of energy as a chance to slip away from them. The fact that they had been spied on bothered the android, but at least it was gone now, giving the android majin privacy once again. At least the Majin seemed to think so, as she went back to their conversation. At her question regarding his family, Cipher's eyes narrowed. He had already lost one family member, and was not willing to put them at risk again. "They're at my ship. You'l have to forgive me if I don't give you their exact location. After losing one daughter I'm quite protective right now." He didn't know why she wanted to know, but the android wasn't going to take any chances. It was Cipher's turn to ask about the Majin. "So tell me, how did you come into the Guru's service? It's a bit intriguing to see a Majin here on Namek."Shemha
