( Bing Gan, Maeve Rakshasa. I'd like to do this thread with you guys, that'll basically be after Maeve came to pick Pieter up from the Afterlife! If anyone else requests entry, please pm the three of us for entry.) (Thread PL: 164,775) Pieter flickered onto the lookout with the Kami, Maeve, after Yemma notified her of Pieter's request! He put his hand over his head, finding that the halo that was above now gone from it. He felt the weight on his body... This familiar weight, beneath his moccasins. The thin air filled Pieter's lungs, tasting crisp... And rather dusty, to Hunter's surprise, a cough to surmise it loudly! "Uuuuch hech heh," Pieter coughed, laughing as he did as he looked around at the grandiose platform! He could feel so many presences around, down below, but they were so much closer than they were before..! He uttered, wiping his mouth of some spit, "I can't believe it... It's actually home!"(Gonna keep this short and sweet.) (Current PL with Medium Weights: 82,387.5) |

"Yes. Why would I take you anywhere else?" Maeve offered the rugged man a gentle smile as she walked passed him to look into the lookout. "Honey, I've brought a guest! Can you and Ember come out to greet him?" She called out before looking back to the tall, dark skinned saiyan. She smiled, a hint of a blush hitting her cheeks as she rubbed one of her arms in a bashful display.
"Sorry for the informality. In your absence much has happened. Obviously I have taken the Kami mantle for instance." She said bowing her head, clasping all six hands together in a sign of respect.
"Bing and I... Have become involved..." She mentioned, biting her lip as she reached the back of her hand to show the glowing rune that signified their promised engagement. It was demonic and hard to really see but given how the goddess' headfins were fluttering excitedly the implication was probably obvious.
"And Ember...Well you'll see." She said giggling warmly before suddenly stopping and realizing she was prattling on about herself which may seem inconsequential to the stoic warrior.
"I-I'm sorry Pieter you're probably more concerned as to what has happened to the world more than me or Bing. Where should I even start?" The Kami buckled, her golden scales turning scarlet on her cheeks as she flushed, trying to get back on track.

(Gonna keep this rolling. Bing Gan , come quick!) Maeve shouted out to someone she was intimate with. Pieter took a moment, thinking to himself, "Come to think of it, since Bing had undergone that moment, someone had to take over... Guess he chose her!"Her statement only confirmed that, as she clasped all 6 hands and bowed... Which then put all sorts of questions in Pieter's head! Afterwards, she came out and stated that she and Bing had become, 'partners,' which only served to cause Pieter's jaw to drop and him blurt out, "You and Bing are... And you had... And you bother were-!"She caught herself, though, and she asked what Pieter wanted to know firstly. Frankly, there was too much to ask, but Pieter came to question her this first, gawking still yet sounding quite serious, "Did you have that child when Bing went robo-menace and killed Kaula?"That was a question Pieter wanted to look more serious with, but the current overflow of confusion was overwhelming. ( Maeve Rakshasa, your turn, unless you want Bing to go first!) |

Bing yawned heavily as his eyes blinked blearily awake. It had been a very long night. Ember was a cranky one when the Makyo Star was out. The little hybrid girl was still knocked out in her crib next to Bing's bed, snoring like a fully grown man. He smiled at her warmly, before sliding out of bed quietly. He tucked Ember in a bit, and she smiled in her sleep. He meandered over to the doorway, his vision still blurry. The walk to the bathroom in nothing but a tanktop and sweatpants reminded him of his early years. If he were this sleepy when he was a kid, his father would have whacked him over the head more than a few times. The Former Guardian found his way to the bathroom soon enough, and just as he was about to wash his face, he heard Maeve call him from the top floor. He strained to hear what she said, but from what he could tell, she wasn't alone. He nodded to himself, foregoing a clean-up to see what the issue was just in case it was serious. It took him a few moments to make it up the stairs, but when he got up, it became instantly apparent what the issue was. The sun was really bright. He covered his eyes as he walked out of the hallway, his bare feet slapping against the tiles as he approached Maeve's Ki. "Honey, you can't be shouting so early. I just got Ember to bed like... An hour ago." He rubbed his eyes, and soon, his gaze fell on Pieter Wolfbane. A friend. A formerly dead friend. "PIETER WOLFBANE YOU BASTARD!"His dazed state disappeared, replaced by extreme elation. He charged towards the revived tribal, tackling him into a hug that would probably cause a bit of pain. The Serpent Master would pull back quickly, staring at Pieter to make sure he was really here. "I can't believe it. After a whole year... I thought you'd never come back, you jerk." He gave Pieter a moment to speak before he did anything else. It was so jarring to see such a good friend after so long. It was like old times; before the world needed him to be Kami, before his wife took his place to help. "You've gotten a lot stronger. Have you mastered the Super Saiyan form yet? If not, I know a few people who can help." |

"Now who's shouting?" Maeve asked, sticking her tongue out playfully as Bing practically tackled the burly saiyan warrior. She couldn't help but giggle at her fiance's infectious elation as she watched their reunion. It caused her heart to flutter to see the two so happy though the nagging reality of their child being present caused her to step and speak. "Though Bing, you were probably right. Perhaps we can take this little reunion elsewhere? I think Akemi can handle Ember while we're away." She took a few steps away from the lookout's entrance before turning to Pieter.
"...As for when Ember was conceived it was about a month after the invasion. During the rebuilding efforts Bing and I ended up becoming close." She clasped two hands together and looked to the sky, her golden eyes sparkling as she thought of their time together. "He ended up proposing to me while we were fighting off my sister and cousin. After the victory we-" She stopped herself, going red from her cheeks to her eartips as she realized what she was about to say. "I-I ended up pregnant with Ember before Bing went to Kanassa..." She quickly concluded with a stiff bow.
She looked aside, the sparking of nostalgic thought fading as an unpleasant memory reared it's head into her mind. "...I ended up finding out about my pregnancy slightly after I realized Bing had passed away." She explained. "I was on Vegeta at the time with Kaula, Toma, and their mother." She nodded her head once.
"Though I hesitate to ask what you may have been implying in believing that she was conceived while Bing had been under Zucceta's control."

Bing was soon to arrive, confirming the information about Maeve and he being together, whilst Pieter stood there, slack jawed. It was only until he was tackled that he snapped out of it! When he did, his face seemed be withholding some anger, as he responded, albeit he struggled to speak because he was crushing him, "Good... Good to see you as well..!"Pieter wriggled his way out, as Maeve explained further about the conception. She was troubled by Pieter's question, being direct and stating that he believed it was under that saiyaness's control. Pieter slipped out, panting for breath as he exasperated, "It's not... It's not... Damn it Bing! Ease up on your strength! Gah!"The hunter remained seated, resting an arm on his raised knee with his feet perpendicular to one another as he collected himself. He had to squeeze out from underneath Bing and slip away. He looked at Maeve first, but said nothing to her. His gaze returned to Bing and Pieter asked, "What was on Kanassa that was so important, Bing? You were Guardian of the Earth at the time... I was training with King Kai when he told me about you and that bitch were fighting it out and you suddenly vanished! No trace at all! And now..."Pieter pointed towards Maeve, pausing briefly before he'd begin lashing out at him. He affirmed his index finger towards her, and his gaze towards Bing as he uttered, "You. Are. A. FATHER! Leaving her to raise the child alone for those months while you slew Kaula and Reikiko with that bitch, who's trying to turn a new leaf far too late... Kaula told me what happened!"( Bing Gan, here ya go!) |

Pieter writhed out of Bing's grasp, before speaking. Apparently he thought Bing and Maeve had... Conceived Ember while Bing was under Zucceta's control. The thought made him a bit uncomfortable; it sent shivers up his body just thinking of it. He was glad that wasn't how it went down.
The Hunter seemed to be interested in Kanassa. An uncomfortable time for Bing. He tried his best to explain, though it was a bit awkward. "Well uh... Zucceta had planted a world-eating tree on the planet. I couldn't let her do it, because it meant one day she'd use that tree here, on Earth. I went to stop her but... Well... I think you know what happened." He gripped his right hand with his left, rubbing the rune on the back of his hand. It was a symbol of his bond with Maeve. He hoped it wouldn't never shatter like it had when he perished.
Wolfbane's irritation seemed to keep growing. Bing frowned at his friend. This started as a welcome reunion, but it was boiling into an argument. "Hey! I didn't plan on dying, alright? I was strong enough to beat her then... At least, I thought I was..."
He looked away, his gaze floor-bound.
"Despite what you might think about Zucceta, she really is trying to change. If I can trust her after what she did to me, you could at least stop calling her a bitch."
Bing didn't know what to say anymore. He sat in awkward silence, glancing at Maeve with a frown. His eyes, and his expression, betrayed what he was thinking. What else can I say?

Maeve let out a heavy sigh when she heard Pieter go off and bring up a few unpleasant memories as well. She felt herself bristle a bit before she decided to interject by stepping forward. "I must agree with my fiance. Zucceta, along with everything else, deserves a chance at redemption. If you do not balance your emotion and pain your dark Ki will envelop your aura." The Kami spoke causally holding two of her hands up, one igniting with a flame of pure white ki the other igniting with an ominous black ki. "Forgiveness leads to peace and peace leads to balance." She nodded her head as she extinguished the flames with the clenching of her fists.
"As much as I appreciate you looking out for me, please give Zucceta a chance. She deserves a chance to prove herself before you curse her name." Maeve said with the nod of her head. "...She was instrumental in undoing the pain she caused. The deaths of Kaula and Reikiko are regrettable but... I'm sure their souls have found peace." Her smile faltered slightly as she looked to the sky. The thought of her long dead friends caused a wave of pain to pang in her heart.
"We all miss them Pieter, but we cannot dwell on the pains of the past or else we will never heal." She simply concluded, clasping her hands in an almost prayer like stance.

"How..!"Pieter slammed his palm on the marble floor, dejecting their statements clearly, "They had no reason at all to turn the way the did! That defeat didn't make them humble... They turned Bing into a murderer, and I can tell you this, when Kaula arrived: She wanted to beat the hell out of Bing and Zucceta alike for what happened! Much more Zucceta than Bing, but it was there," Pieter growled, grasping his jaw with one hand and shaking it a bit, before he stated, "It was in her fists when we sparred one another..!"The hunter had become someone who'd been despondent to the sort of 'holy mentality,' Maeve was portraying. When he was training with King Kai, even though he tried to put this aside, Pieter couldn't! His memories of the pain inflicted, as well as the fears of what Pieter had were far stronger than his own personal will. "I was left thinking that you could handle it... That you and every one of the Earth's defenders could handle eliminating someone as evil as her," Pieter spoke, standing up as he did, "In the end, what a hunter decides upon is forever ingrained in them. It doesn't matter how they plant the seeds. At one point, even docile plants can become hostile to everything around them! You cannot simply displace what they've done. And that same sentiment goes toward Vi-Poi, as well! They've murdered entire planets in their own selfishness."He maintained his judgemental gaze upon Bing and Maeve alike, looking to each so his eyes didn't become cross. He questioned, "Can you prove me wrong?!"( Bing Gan, back to you.  )

Zucceta streaked bombastically towards the Lookout, clad entirely in her Great Saiya-man Neo attire, her ki signature also disguised by a conscious energy manipulation technique--additionally, suppressed into the low thousands of standard units. It'd been a few weeks since she'd last seen Bing and Maeve. She was hoping to catch Ember; the little half-demon was strong, and growing fast. It was a genuine pleasure to check up on the infant Gan-Rakshasa's progress--it filled her, little by little, with hope.
The super-heroine figured that she could take an hour; she'd already stopped two robberies and saved a cat from a tree. She'd briefly considered actually utilising the Multi-Form technique, one Saiya-man patrolling cities, the other doing whatever she pleased--but she didn't quite know the limitations of the technique, yet. Alas, she'd have to leave the crime-solving to the members of local police forces or the Blue Banner enforcers. Saiya-man Neo was a bit of a third wheel when not dealing with super-powered threats, anyway.
She tapped down on the white tiles of the Lookout, sighing happily, frosty morning air filling her lungs. Sunlight warmed the chill atmosphere, reflecting off of the albedo tiles and, again, from her sleek Sentai helmet. Relaxed, she walked towards the happy couple--and their riled guest.
Zucceta pressed the bottom of her chin, deactivating the voice modulator that hid her voice from any with keen ears, but she did not remove her helmet, nor reveal her true, undisguised ki. She trusted anyone who was friends with the Earth's guardians, but there was something... off about this one. He was clearly steamed about something.
He looked a little familiar.
"How's it going?" The Great Saiya-man Neo offered Wolfbane politely, raising a gloved hand in a friendly wave, before smiling at the others. "You look tired, Gan."

Bing listened to Pieter's words with a mixture of sadness and anger. It was hard to decide how to feel about his old friend right now. He felt as though this wasn't the real Pieter, but instead some rage-infused doppelganger. He knew few would be happy with how things turned out on Kanassa, but this was a bit ridiculous.
"Pieter... I..."
He couldn't find the words. Pieter, however, still had plenty. He continued his tirade, causing Bing's sadness to fizzle. Each word increased that growing irritation in Bing's gut. The kind of anger that was a bit newer; the final gift from those cyborg implants he'd rid himself of months ago still lingered in his emotions. The Ex-Guardian's fist clenched, and as Zucceta touched down, Bing pulled back.
A lot of him wanted to smash Pieter's face in for accusing not only Zucceta but Vi-Poi of being pure evil simply waiting for the right moment to re-reveal their vileness. Accusations like that weren't exactly Bing's favorite.
"I'm not in the mood to explain myself to you. Of all the people in the galaxy, you should KNOW that Zucceta and Vi-Poi are good people! King Kai trained you, and apparently, you said he let you watch the goings-on of Earth! Why should I have to prove you wrong?! You have all the evidence you could have needed up there just by watching them for even a minute!"
He turned to Zucceta, who was expertly disguised, and smiled weakly. "Long night."
He wasn't sure how to continue from here, but he somehow felt worse than he did when his arm was literally bitten off. He decided to stay quiet for the time being, unsure of what else he could possibly say. Hopefully his wife could pick up the slack that his tired and crestfallen brain left her.

Maeve opened her mouth to speak, her eyes sharpening to a firm glare but stopped suddenly. She felt her voice die in her throat as her headfins shot up in alarm. Her scaled ears twitched twice as they were bombarded by the faint sounds of crying coming from inside of the lookout. "Oh no! You woke the baby!" She rest her palm on her head as she realized that all the enraged shouting and ruthless slamming of his palms against the coming from the recently revived man was enough to get her daughter to rouse.The demoness looked to Pieter, her eyes sparking with a mixture of anger and disappointment before she turned to the newcomer. She forced a smile and began to bow her head. "Hell-" The wail of her daughter cut her off causing the Kami to turn away mid greeting and walk toward the . "I apologize. In our guest's...Enthusiastic...Display he woke my daughter please excuse me." She bowed her head once more before turning toward the entrance and walking in. Despite her attempt to appear cool and in control there was a notable quickness to her pace, and when she believed she was out of sight her expression would break to showing her concern as she hurried along.

"Sure they are," Pieter stated, half-heartedly, "That goodness, however, didn't come out until they ripped entire planets apart a-"Pieter stopped, hearing a voice not familiar to him. He looked upon the stranger, whose voice was altered by some device on their person. They didn't look familiar to him physically, but their energy... Maeve's disgruntlement at hearing her child wake up had Pieter refocus on the Kami and realize he was being offensive to their hospitality! The hunter's voice hushed a bit with his apology, "Sorry... It's just... You say King Kai's told you he's shown me, as well as Articho and Kaula, the good moments of Vi-Poi and Zucceta. That isn't true, at least for me. King Kai had to tell me what happened to you on Kannasa, and when we got to see Zucceta the one time, she was fighting on Earth with that kid who fought with us against the her and the SSE and..."Pieter stopped himself, biting his index finger whilst he looked to the side. He muttered, "I've still my issues! I just kept them in..."( Zucceta , Bing Gan , not sure who would like to go next here, but here's my post! )

The superhero eyed Pieter Wolfbane cautiously. She remembered, then, coughing to disguise a moment of shock. The memory was red around the edges, adrenal and animalistic, but she remembered--her last hurrah in a time of war, a split blast that took out the warrior that now stood before her once again. No shit he'd have beef with her. But Vi Poi--?
"I'm Great Saiya-man Neo," Zucceta bows to Wolfbane. "In my experience, the criminals I catch often have a reason behind their actions. Sometimes they're just plain greedy or insane, but other times--last week, I stopped a teenage boy who was pick-pocketing. Turns out, his mother was sick. She wasn't going to be getting any better any time soon. He had maybe half a dozen siblings to feed, as well as his mother's medicine to pay for." The woman shrugs. "I can't speak for this Zucceta nutcase, but I've spoken to Vi-Poi. He's never done anything unjust."
She folds her arms. "Another case I had was where someone who'd been imprisoned for robbing a bank was later released. He went on to volunteer in a hospital and helped save lives. Should one's present be judged by their past?" It wasn't a rhetorical question; she asked herself the same thing in almost every quiet moment. |

(Got Bing Gan and Maeve Rakshasa's approvals to skip ahead here.) The woman superhero introduced herself as Saiya-Man Neo. Sounded like she was a fan of that ages old comic character. She explained that the criminals she stopped split into separate categories. There were those that were insane and/or greedy to their core, but most of the time, the people she caught were those who had reason behind their crimes. She agreed that Zucceta had been a nutjob to her core, but tried to reason Vi-Poi had been a good man. However, Pieter and Bing were both there, with Kaula, Reikiko, Articho and his friend, Jarvis, and even some of the Blue Banner, too! He destroyed a world just before coming to the Earth and had snapped. Pieter looked to her, asking her with scowl, "I understand that the reason behind committing a crime for survival of a loved one or many, and those who are truly sorry by trying to help society... But who decides not only destroy a world our world is close with, with friends coming from that same world, and threaten our own for the sake magic wish granting balls and then try to play it off like it's no big deal?!"He was doing his best to keep his voice down now, but his emotion couldn't be fully contained. He bit the inside of his lip, putting up his hand quickly speaking, "I know it's not my place ever to judge... However, I cannot see why I should forgive someone for doing that horrible act! I'm still angry that Kaula, who also got to go to King Kai's, might I add, harmed some of our own allies when that happened. However, that wouldn't have happened if Vi-Poi didn't snap in the first place... That's why I cannot forget what he did either! The worst part is you're probably right and he is actually a nice guy, but your actions aren't forgotten and you're literally judged after dying for everything you did!"( Zucceta.
