Mian Gan is the star of this thread! [PL: 5,000]
"I hate snow!"
The voice of a furious young girl rang through the icy tundra, as Mian fell deeper into a pit of snow that she'd somehow dug herself into. Try as she might, the girl was stuck, and no amount of pushing or pulling was moving her. Feeling frustrated, the Serpent School Student began to punch the snow, sending clumps of it flying to and fro.
"Seriously! Who thought inventing snow was a good idea?! I bet Kami is up there in the sky laughing at me right now. What I wouldn't give to slap HIM in the face..."
As she sat in the snow, she felt a chill slither through her body. It wasn't something she'd actually thought about until just now, but she wasn't exactly properly dressed for a snowy landscape. Rather than wearing snow gear, the young Martial Artist had decided to keep her emerald green Gi on proud display, though it currently looked more powdery white than green. She contemplated ways that she could prevent the incoming frostbite, before she remembered that she had some semblance of Ki Control.
With a burst of energy, her green Ki Aura burned to life around her, heating her body up in a good way. She sighed in relief, before noticing that the snow she had been caught in was now melting. She sighed again, though this time in irritation.
"I hate snow." she repeated to herself.
With much more heat running through her, Mian found little trouble making her way through the frigid landscape. It took some time, but eventually, she came across an incredibly old, run-down building. She checked the map she had tucked away in a pouch on her belt, before nodding to herself.
"This is it," she stated to nobody. "Momma said I'd find some kinda clue to my brother's location here. With a place this old though, I kinda doubt it. If Bing was a thousand years old, maybe." She paused for a moment, imagining the brother she was told about having grey hair, and giggled to herself.
Her smile faded quickly, replaced with steely determination. She had to be serious. As stupid as this seemed, it might lead her to the man who she needed to beat. Without another word, she entered the decrepit building, her footfalls echoing through the halls as she made contact with the rusty metal.
Within a few moments, she'd find herself in a massive room, filled with machinery; both functional and wrecked. Mian's hand traveled across the edge of the wall, eventually finding a light-switch. She clicked it on, and a row of ceiling lights whirred to life. The Serpent Student gasped audibly, as some of the computers activated as well.
"I don't get it... How is this supposed to help me find Bing? Did he like robots or something?"
She placed her hands on her hips, walking towards one of the computers, and clicking away at the keyboard. "No use in leaving these things unchecked, I guess..."

The cold wind brushed against Etoru as he stood on a ledge of a mountain. He shivered, wearing nothing but his serpent gear. His bandana swayed in the wind as he looked down at the snow landscape below. "...S-So cold..." Etoru tensed up, clenching his fists in determination. He tried this once before months ago, back when he last trained with Zerori. He wanted to keep his durability up, if he was able to withstand freezing temperatures, then nothing could stop him! Etoru would be like, totally invincible!
"I hate snow!" A rather feminine voice called out.
Etoru blinked confused, looking around. Was someone hurt...? He did sense a power signature down there. He slowly hovered down the mountain...only to find a girl punching snow, completely trapped. He held a laugh, amused at the sight. Etoru planned on helping her for sure, but...this was too comical. He was going to let it last for a bit before he swooped in. However, his plans had a change in course when she actually managed to get herself out of there.
The boy couldn't help but notice how familiar her gi looked, though, with all that snow she was wearing, it was hard to identify it. He followed her from a distance, watching as she trudged through the snowy terrain. Etoru blinked, confused, when he saw the building she arrived at. She entered it, and along with her, though a few seconds prior to her entrance, Etoru.
He watched as the girl typed at the computer, and overheard her rambling about finding Bing or something. The Saiyan Hybrid tilted his head, his hair and headband drooping slightly. "Eh? Who the heck are you, lady...?" His serpent emblem rung true on his bandana and gi. He swayed his tail slightly, curious to what she wanted Bing for.

He trudged through the wind and snow in his puffy blue jacket and shivered; Traus usually tried to limit the use of his suit unless it was necessary, but he was simply too cold. The blue-gray haired engineer took off his jacket and pressed a button on the inside pocket. With a puff of smoke the jacket was gone, only leaving a small capsule in its place. Traus placed the tiny capsule in his pocket and stretched his arms to his sides. The backpack he was wearing sparked to life as it began to expand and wrap it’s metallic exterior around his body. With a satisfying click, the suit’s activation process was complete. He gave out a relieved sigh as the warm insulation of the suit surrounded him, causing his visor to fog up a bit. Traus took a mental note; he’d have to fix that later. His destination revealed itself in the distance as his visor cleared up. An abandoned Red Ribbon military base.
Traus had hit a mental block in his research of Ki. To try and get some ideas, he thought it would be a good idea to scrounge through some old military tech for some inspiration. He’d heard about this place while searching online for something to inspire him. When nothing online was helping, he decided to make the long trip up here to see what he could find in person.
With each footstep, his feet sank into what felt like at least a foot of deep snow. It made moving even just a few feet very troublesome and time consuming. Practically wading at this point, Traus started to become frustrated. The snow around his legs began to burble, hiss and quake; it sank lower and lower as the white powder blow began to melt. The hissing of the melting snow gave way to the roar of the suit’s leg thrusters as the slurry of water and snow around them turned to steam. Traus shot himself through the frigid air before landing on some very fine snow. The softness of the powder caused him to stumble a bit, but he managed to stabilize himself with his hands. He stood upright and looked up at the facility in front of him. Old eroding bricks covered the behemoth of a building. It was clear that this place hadn’t been touched for decades. However, the dim light coming from inside said otherwise. Traus cautiously peeked around the steel door, and saw two figures. They were… kids? Confused by the unexpectedly young company, he walked into the door frame and knocked on the it with a friendly rhythm. Hopefully he’d get their attention without startling them too much.

The girl tapped away at the immense keyboard, her brow furrowing as she tried in vain to guess the password to the computer. "Aw c'mon!" she shouted, smashing her fist down onto a large metal desk sat nearby. "How is the password NOT 'Password'? It's the most secure password one can use, after all!" She sighed, flicking her nose with her thumb, before getting back to it.
Before Mian could push down another key, she heard the voice of a younger boy behind her. The Serpent Student let out a yelp of surprise, before turning around wildly, her hands placed firmly on the keyboard behind her, which caused a random assortment of words to be input into the password box.
"W-what the...?!"
She gave Etoru the stink-eye as she sized him up, her expression toughening as she noticed the Serpent emblem on his bandana. "Hey! Who do the heck do you think you are wearing a sacred emblem like that? Not just anyone can go around pretending they're part of my mama's school!" She stomped over to Etoru, grabbing at the bandanna on his head. Should she succeed in snatching it, she'd raise it up over her head, taking a close look at it.
"Hmph. I knew it. It's a fake. The lines are all wrong! Y'see, if you look at my emblem, you can see the lines start at the top, rather than the--"
Her explanation was cut off, as the sound of knocking rang through the air. Mian jumped back in surprise, settling into the Serpent Style battle stance. This newcomer was kinda spooky. The old fellow was dressed up in what looked like a mech suit in one of those old anime's Zi used to let her watch, but much less enormous. Though he looked a bit dorky due to his getup, his power was immense! If she had to guess, he could probably take down an entire platoon of Saiyan's all on his own if he really wanted.
"Robot guy... What do you want huh? Did I awaken you because I guessed the password right?"
Her expression was fierce, but on the inside she was quite nervous. How was she supposed to beat a guy who packed so much power?

Etoru blinked blankly at her reaction. "d...did she really get scared from that...? Heh...wimp..." Etoru thought. Although that was quite hypocritical coming from him considering he was a coward when it came to a lot of things. He narrowed his eyes at the expression she was giving him. It was like he was a foreigner in a town he didn't belong in or something. This chick was weird. But what she said next made him gasp. He growled lowly, clenching his fists and puffing up his cheeks stubbornly. "You jerk...! What do you mean your 'mamas' school. Now that you mention it, hiding under all that snow is a copy of MY uniform! What are you doing pretending your part of MY MASTERS school!"
He glared up at her as she stomped over. It was then when she did the unexpected. She ripped the bandana off his head! The jerk! She had some nerve...! Etoru reached his hand up, tugging at her arm and jumping in an irritated way. "Oy!! Give it back! It's real you dummy...!" But then he blinked, turning his head seeing the newcomer. Etoru noted her Serpent stance, and immediately got confused. "Y-You know the Serpent Stance?! Who the heck are you anyways! You've been stalking us--no, probably a fan boy of my master on TV...after all, he did fight against the Saiyan's Queen on LIVE TV...and Realigner Red!"
He turned his head to the new guy and glared. A smirk grew across his lips as he had the chance to prove himself a smarter fighter than the girl beside him. "Idiot...clearly that isn't a robot. It has ki that can be sensed! Which means it's a living thing.." Etoru crossed his arms with a smug smirk, sparkles sprinkling around his face as he let his pride wash over himself for the moment. "Anyways Ms.Serpent girl, if you really are so big and tough, why don't you go kick that guys butt for spying on us huh?" Etoru snickered, wanting to see someone knock her lights in, cause GOSH she was annoying. "And while you're at it, can you hand over my SERPENT SCHOOL head band?"

Traus smiled a bit when he saw the young girl’s defensive stance, holding his hands up in a disarming manner; “Whoa, hang on a second there.” He closed the door behind him, serving to shut out the cold while giving him some time to choose his words. “I’m not here to get you guys in trouble, I’m just here to look at some of the old tech.” Realizing his visor was still on, he retracted it in an attempt to look less intimidating. “My name’s Traus, what’s yours?” His eyes repeatedly switched their gaze between them, directing the question at the both of them.
“With the weather like it is, I’m surprised anyone else was even able to make it here; let alone two kids! What're you two doing here?”
Traus overheard the boy saying he could sense his Ki! Which wasn’t something he was expecting. Could these kids really be Ki-users? If that was the case, Traus had some questions for them.
The boy told the other kid that she should kick Traus’s butt to prove she was tough. Traus took it as a joke until he saw the boy’s tail waving through the air. He knew Saiyans to be rather extreme when it came to fighting and violence; especially when taking into account his last encounter with a Sayian. Even if this one was just a kid, Traus decided to proceed cautiously; he didn’t know how strong this kid could be. And he certainly didn’t want to get into a fight with children, after all.
He chuckled to himself silently; surely he was completely overthinking all of this, but he figured it was always better to be on the safe side. Just in case.
Traus tried his best to diffuse the tension. “Now there’s no need for any ‘butt kicking’ to take place;” he said in a laid-back manner. “I’m gonna go in this section over here to check out some loose parts or something. You two just keep doing what you’re doing; I won’t bother you.”
The young techie walked over to an aisle of metal shelves filled with old metal components and dusty gizmos. The aisle wasn’t too far from the entrance, so he could clearly see the other two through the rusty grate in the back of the shelves. Pacing down the narrow walkway, Traus began his search. He combed through the dust-ridden place, hoping to stumble upon something interesting.

"Excuse me?! YOUR Master is a big fat phony! Ever since my Papa was killed, my Mama Zi has been the Serpent Master." She turned her nose up at Etoru, giving a prideful 'hmph' as she folded her arms. Etoru and Mian focused their full attention back on the big bulky mecha. He seemed to be trying to calm them down. Clearly a sign of a bad guy! She settled back into the Serpent Style battle stance, ignoring Etoru's annoying comments for the time being. "Hmph. I'll deal with this big chrome-dome myself. You can just sit back and watch how a real Serpent Student handles things!" She tossed the bandana back to Etoru, her focus fully turned to Traus. The girl was ready for a fight, but it seemed her metallic opponent wasn't into the idea. She waved her arms angrily, shouting at the fellow who was quite clearly beginning to ignore her. "Hey! Don't ignore me! I'll... Umm... I'll show you a 'Loose Part', buddy!"She lowered her center of gravity, cupping her hands together in front of her chest as she began to gather energy. Her Ki slowly built up, and in her palms formed a crackling ball of emerald Ki. Mian smirked cockily, turning her head slightly towards Etoru. "See? This is what a real technique looks like. I bet your 'master' never taught YOU anything even close."Mian turned her attention back to Traus, her smirk turning to a wicked grin. She chuckled to herself, and with a forward thrust, she shouted: "FEEL MY--BUAAA!!!" Her technique failed miserably. Instead of firing forwards, the blast coiled sporadically, spiraling up and out of her control. She began moving her hands back and forth, trying to regain control of the runaway beam, but it was all for naught. The swirling beam began to circle the room, eventually making its way towards the massive computer on the opposite end of the room!
[KP: 2/3] Fired [N1] Serpent's Bite... But failed miserably. 33% Charged for a damage potential of: 1,650! Target: Computer panel. If hit, some alarms will most certainly be tripped.

Etoru puffed his cheeks out stubbornly while staring at thew newcomer. "Well, your master sounds a lot likes mines. My master learned from his dad, and he died too...! So I'm the real deal. Faker." The boy growled lowly when his headband was thrown towards him. It landed on his face, causing his frustration to grow. But, at least she was gonna go head to head with this robo-dude like he challenged.
His eyes widened as he saw her preparing her attack. At her teasing remark, his face began to flush. "...N...No..." Etoru muttered. Bing never taught him anything that cool before...and Etoru was starting to feel a little jealous. Well, more embarrassed since he was supposed to be showing that SHE was the fake. Those feelings were quickly swept aside as if they weren't even there, and laughter begun to surface. Mian just made a huge mistake firing the attack, and Etoru watched as she was having trouble trying to control it.
"PFFFFT! AHA! Nice move LOSER! HAhaha---eh" Etoru saw the attack soar towards the computer. His laughter was cut short, and he furrowed his eyebrows. That computer seemed really important with Mian fiddling with it earlier. If there were really any secrets here, he'd wanna find out. And just like that, with a flash, Etoru was gone! The boy appeared in front of the blast in an odd looking serpent stance. "SERPENT! KICK!" The child's white aura flared around him to the max. He reeled his foot back and brung it back with full force. His shin collided against it, making it bounce back, but ultimately, fizzle away. His shin was a little red, but nothing he couldn't handle. He had a cocky grin, until he realized that he launched himself with too much speed while at the same time having no technique in his kick at all, and was now just a few feet away from smashing into the computer. --

Kicked away blast, took very minor damage on shin.
Etoru's now falling towards the computer, with the same end result as Mian's blast.

Traus noted Mian’s slightly somber topic as he scanned the area. It made him sympathetic, but after hearing the rowdy girl anxious to fight again, Traus became agitated. Even these little kids wanted to fight. He didn’t like getting out of the lab too often, because it seemed like someone always wanted to fight every time he did. It was frustrating. Traus shrugged it off when he saw the adorable spark of Ki coming from the girl’s palms. She clearly wasn’t a threat, so he figured he’d let her land this one. Maybe once she got it out of her system, she’d stop.
The following blast rocketed out of her control, creating sparks as it skimmed across some of the rusted robot parts hooked to the ceiling. Traus chuckled a bit at first, but soon became worried for the safety of the two. He began to pace toward them when it was getting much too frenetic. In a blur of speed, the younger boy flung himself in the blast’s path and blindly kicked it away from the computer. Traus winced when the blast’s trajectory suddenly switched toward him. Luckily, the girl’s Ki was weak enough to disperse before reaching him. He quickly overcame his unnecessary over-reaction when he saw the boy lose his bearings. Traus meekly reached a hand out to him, but jerked it back when he had smashed into the computer with a crash.
“Oh geez, kid. You oka-?” Traus was cut off by a deafening slam; when he turned to the entrance, he was greeted by a thick titanium blast shield that had sealed them in. This was soon followed by a dimming of the lights, which snapped into a rapid red flashing. The alarm sounded weakly, like a broken police siren with a much lower tone. The armor clad engineer swiveled his gaze, checking for any immediate threat. Squinting through the darkness, he could make out a neon Red Ribbon Army logo slowly powering up in the corner. It was mounted on the front of a large looming figure. Traus’s visor clicked into place. He approached the boy atop the broken computer and attempted to help him up. If he accepted, he’d pull him toward the other kid and get in front both of them. “Stay behind me, guys; something bad’s about to happen.”

Etoru's body smashed into the computer with a resounding crash, causing electric sparks to fly from the machine. Mian cringed at the sight. It looked like it hurt a whole lot. A part of her hoped the kid was alright, though another half was rooting for him to reveal that he suddenly lost his arms and legs. A punk kid like that deserved to be beat up after impersonating the Serpent School, after all.
Suddenly, furiously loud sounds blazed through the facility as the room was bathed in a dark crimson glow. Mian had seen this kind of thing before in a TV show; something bad was about to go down. The Serpent Student pulled back into the Serpent Stance, her body shaking. Was she ready for this kind of danger?
Traus assisted Etoru as best he could, before returning to the center where Mian was. He ordered the two kids to stay back, causing Mian's heart to flutter for a moment. The way he commanded the situation was so inspiring! It was a shame that he was a big dumb idiot though.
"It's all your fault dummy! If you hadn't shown up with your big dumb face and stuff then we woulda-- !"
Suddenly, in the corner of the room, an even brighter light shined in the corner of the room, as a massive and ancient machine removed itself from its prison. The machine was incredibly large and bulky, with a glass dome in the center. It looked like it was built to be used by a pilot, but this model had been modified for self-sufficiency. Whatever paint was left on the chassis had been chipped and faded, but the emblem of the old red ribbon army survived through the March of time.
The Red Ribbon Robot banged its fists together, before activating its vocal protocol.
"TRESPASSERS DETECTED. PREPARE FOR ELIMINATION."
With a swing of its massive fist, it attempted to smash into Traus' gut. Should the strike land, he'd more than likely be sent across the room In a most painful manner.
Red Ribbon Robot has joined the thread! How will our heroes defeat such a monster?!

"Owwwww....." Etoru whined as he lied on the now broken computer. Alarms were set off after that mishap, and now the whole building was flashing red from the sirens. The noise was annoying as well...! Traus approached the boy and helped him off the computer. Before Etoru had a chance to grab his bearings, the robot(or how it appeared to Etoru) pulled the child near Mian. He then stepped in front in front of them, warning them of possible danger. But what could be dangerous? "Um, look dude. This place is like, a gazzilion years old...I don't think there's anything dangerous here." His face then had a tint of blue, a sign of fear. "U-Unless there's ghosts...that'd be bad.....uh...does this place have ghosts..."Etoru's fuzzy brown appendage swayed behind him as he stuck close too his two companions. But then, something caught Etoru's attention. In the far corner of the room, a light switched on. Etoru screamed like a little girl. "T-THERE IS GHOSTS!" The giant machine stomped over, leaving Etoru dumbfounded. What the heck was that thing? The robot then spoke, leaving Etoru blinking blankly. He took a small step to the right, behind Mian, when the robot threw a punch at Traus. He did not want to get trucked when Traus was launched towards him. Etoru then grew a sly grin. He tapped her shoulder, looking up at her with a playful smirk. "Come on Serpent Girl. Go fight it. You're strong enough aren't ya? Or are you too...." Etoru sniffed, rubbing a thumb against his nose. "Chicken...." He snickered. "That's cool, I mean, we do have that robo-guy over there....you can hide behind him if you want." ---

Traus barely registered the ramblings of the two kids, his attention was affixed to the threat at hand. As the robot’s arm hurled itself toward him, he paused and his mind raced; that familiar fear creeping its way back through his mind. For whatever reason, Traus always had to beat back anxiety when it came to conflict. But he couldn’t let it hold him back; this time there was more on the line then just his own well-being. Shaking his head, he forced himself to focus. At this point, he’d stalled too long for dodging to be a viable option. Thinking quickly, he jumped onto the massive fist and clung to it. As it continued its upward swing, his limbs nearly buckled from the increased g-force. Just when he couldn’t hang on anymore, the punch finished and he was sent flying upward. He hit the sheet metal ceiling with a crash. Though he was still reeling from the impact, his arms instinctively wrapped themselves around a nearby rafter to stop his descent. He clutched to the beam for a second to collect himself.
Looking around, he saw what looked like a giant old rusted robot leg hanging a few feet away from him. It was probably from a newer, larger model of the one he was fighting. He looked at the robot below, it was rearing up to take a swipe at the other two! This kicked Traus out of his inaction. Observing the robot part with his suit’s scan function, he noted the leg was hovering precisely above the Red Ribbon bot’s head. Without a moment more, Traus adjusted his grip and swung himself forward. With a fiercely precise kick, he shattered the rusty chain holding it.
The titanic leg hit its mark. A resounding crash echoed throughout the building as parts of the rusty mass dug their way into the robot's head and shoulders. Its momentum continued and forced the robot to the ground. The sheer force of the collision with the ground jostled a layer of rust off of the leg; the metallic powder settling in a disorganized ring around the metal heap that remained. Traus followed soon after the foot, landing with a bit of a stumble. He turned to ensure the others were safe, but was sent careening into the shelving he’d dug through moments ago. The robot retracted its leg from the attack and slowly got back on its feet. As it did so, parts of the of rusted metal that was embedded in it fell away, while others stayed lodged firmly in place. Its front window now had a splintering fracture running from top to bottom, while sparks popped and crackled from its exposed circuitry. Even now, in its weak and trembling state, the imposing figure looming over the two was seeping with malice. The robot’s arms stretched forward and locked together at the wrists. It pointed his arms at the two kids as a ball of blue energy formed between its palms. Its blue glow and the occasional golden sparks from the robot’s upper half now intermingled with the pulsing red light of the alarm. It all worked to silhouette the impending danger with poignant effect.
