"It's okay... It's alright.... it's no big deal." Tomo mumbled himself while hovering over the edge of a particularly large cliff. Devoid of grass in contrast to the rest of the lush green forests sprawling behind him, the green garbed kid clutched the shining dome that was his super hero helmet in his hands. Beneath the overhang of the stone cliff sat a frightening sight indeed in the form of numerous sharpened and deadly clumped together spires of stone rising up from a roaring river just short of a waterfall a few meters away. " Just a... billion mile drop~" A shiver running down his spine as a gust of wind nearly blew the child off his feet, Tomo clenched his teeth in stubbornness. " Come on. Everyone can fly. Heroes need to fly! Protectors need to fly!" Wiping the sweat from his forehead before setting down Neo Great Saiyaman's helmet onto the dirt floor where it'd safely stand waiting for him to reclaim it, Tomoyo clenched his legs about to surge foreward. Whenever the half-Saiyan had always previously attempted to fly, be it by jumping, being thrown off mountains, towers, skyscrapers; every single time he had failed... ...but maybe the reason wasn't because he was a failure; practically everyone Tomo KNEW could fly... so maybe the reason was just he hadn't been given the right incentive yet. " What better way to make me fly then a big fall like this~?" And that's just what this was, a literal do or die moment. No Tekuma to swoop in at the last second to save him, neither his mother or a random passing saiyan to catch him in the act. If he fell he fell. " *pant* *pant*....." Air rushing in and out of Tomo's lungs as he slowly dragged his feet ever so closer to the edge, the Hybrid child's clenched fists fully revealed how terrifying this was... but he could still do it! Ayumu believed in him! He had to do this! Gulping down one last breath of air, Tomoyo leaped off as a meter or so away from the overhang's edge and above the choppy river and deadly spikes awaiting him below. " Up, Up an-" " DOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooown!!!" Tulip Waterfield

Strolling through the forest, the woman glanced around wearily. It had been a few weeks after running into that weirdo. Suppressing a shiver, she continued marching through the trees. The hybrid thought back on the training she had undergone in the recent past, from the spar with Levlidian, the mastering of her blade, and the attempt at flight. The last event had ended in utter failure and minor scratches on her precious blade. Noticing a faint breeze and the scent of water, the hybrid changed her direction and began heading towards the scent. Emerging in an opening to the trees, the woman marveled at the huge river she found there. Leaning on the bank, the young woman dipped her hands into the water. The current was strong, which meant there was something bigger nearby. Either rapids or a waterfall, both of which would be awesome to witness. Grabbing a handful of water, the young woman splashed it on her tan face, before rising to standing. Slinging her small bag over her shoulder, she checked to ensure her sword hadn’t shifted from her back. With that, the hybrid started her slow walk over to the opening to the trees further down the river. As she got closer, she could hear the roar of a waterfall, and saw the ground vanish from sight. Ah, so it was a waterfall...wait, is that kiddo?! A swell of pride rose in the woman’s heart, as she saw the young hybrid standing on the edge of the cliff. So, he’s going to undertake flying training under his own. Pretty ballsy move, starting at such a high cliff. Wait...does he have some means to stop if he can’t figure it out? Her emerald gaze searched for a means of rescue should the kid fail. Oi, you’re kidding, right? When her search revealed nothing, the woman paused in awe and shock. Should she trust the kid? “Come on. Everyone can fly. Heroes need to fly! Protectors need to fly!” That’s not good planning, kid. Just back away from the edge! The kid stepped closer to the edge, clenching his hands into fists. The young woman began rushing forward, tossing her bag onto the open dirt. She prepared to shout, when the kid jumped off the edge with a loud shout. “Up, Up, and Dooooooowwwwwwwwnnnn!” His voice quickly faded as the boy vanished. Tulip looked out across the blue sky and realized just how high this cliff was. Glancing towards the misty edge overlooking the gargantuan drop, the woman sighed and turned away. Reaching for her bag, the woman forced a grin. “The kid has this. He’ll figure it out.” A sudden flicker of memory flashed through her mind, recalling a certain murderous, soulless monster that had decided the tiny kiddo was her little brother. Noting how close to the inevitable murder the woman was, Tulip cursed and dropped the bag. Slowly walking forward, the woman began taking deep breaths, psyching herself up for the dive. Her hair began waving sideways as the woman summoned up all the strength she could. Her coat began rippling in the wind generated by her crackling grey aura. Bracing herself, the woman looked at the safe, firm ground resting beneath her feet. Dammit, kiddo. You owe me one. Narrowing her emerald gaze, the woman sprinted directly at the edge, before leaping upwards. Twisting her body midair, she angled herself downwards and dived headfirst towards the ground below, realizing just how high the drop truly was and voicing her shock in the most eloquent way possible. “Oh, fuck” Oh sweet merciful Kami, give me the patience to not strangle that kid when I finally catch him.

He was falling; very fast off an incredibly tall cliff, to be more specific.
"This was a terrible idea! I can't fly! What was I thinking!?" Tomoyo screamed out loud as he began futilely squirming his small body, his voice barely traveling an inch before it was stolen away by the rushing winds. The large drop from the top of the cliff down would take some time... but this was terrifying! Was he going to die!? "HEEEEEEEEEELP!" Crying out to anyone anywhere as the wind whipped his partially spiked hair to stand on end above his head as his cape whipped precariously blocking his vision above him...
but there was nobody to hear him! There wouldn't be anybody to save him like Tekuma or Levlidian... he had to do this himself or else he'd become a Tomo-Kabab in a minute. Trying his best to take deep breathes, though the fall wasn't helping, Tomoyo straightened his gaze on his goal. Firing a blast of yellow ki to stabilize him, in a few moments the child at least did not have to worry about blood rushing to him as he was soon positioned vertically once more. "Okay. I can do this." He more spoke in his mind, the child hybrid barely even able to hear himself as the air rushed in and out of his ears at ridiculous speeds to block most sounds. "MMMMMMMM~Fly!"
Throwing out his arms foreward, the falling half-breed flared his blueish-white aura and putting all of his focus into the act... and for a second, he felt like he had stopped the fall!
...
Then the Human hybrid realized that flaring his aura had instead thrusted his body even further down and quickening the rate of his fall. "AAAAAAAAAAH!" Now back to complete panic mode, Tomoyo helplessly flapped his arms at his sides while firing blasts of energy in every direction in sight in hopes of just doing SOMETHING! As one headed upwards and his eyes followed, a new object above his head attracted his sight. "I-Is that?" At first Tomo had to check if he was hallucinating or something, because that person shaped object diving towards him looked awfully a lot like-
Oh, fuck
"TULI!?" Tomo's own voice carried upwards and towards the figure somehow falling at an even faster rate then he was. Maybe it had to do with her being heavier or something? Still though, the child was complete perplexed as for why the older hybrid was here, let alone diving headfirst to rescue him from his fall! Didn't she hate him?! "What are you doing!?"

Narrowing her gaze as the roaring winds and mist from the waterfall sprayed into her face. She could sense the young kid panicking, his ki fluctuating wildly as his body spun through the air. He was firing ki blasts randomly. One flew towards the woman, and she caught it with one palm. Crushing it into nothing, she focused her ki into hardening her body and increasing her mass. She started falling faster, as the kid shouted up towards her. “Tuli!?” The amount of shock within his voice made the woman sigh in irritation. He was still holding the resignation and betrayal from the fight with Pocky, with its dumb outcome, against the woman still, doubtless. “What are you doing?!” Almost reaching parallel with the child, the woman brought one hand back and up to her sword. It began sliding out of the sheath before her hand finished reaching up. The blade spun around in the air, handle slamming into her open palm. Thrusting out with her other hand, she grabbed the boy’s uniform collar. The sudden increase in speed and weight shocked the woman, as she realized the boy was still increasing their downward speed. Yelling loudly, the woman rotated her body towards the cliff. “Saving your ass, kiddo! Brace yourself!” Yanking the boy up level to her side to ensure he didn’t slam into the waterfall rock wall when they stopped, the woman slammed her katana into the sheer rock wall. The blade sunk in, sending out a myriad of sparks and steam that shot outwards as they continued sliding downwards at a high-speed,

About reaching a parrallel with somehow rapidly falling woman, Tomoyo squeaked inaudibly as the back of his suit's collar was yanked towards her. "EEP!" Yelping before closing his eyes shut, Tomoyo barely had a second thought pass through his mind before he was abruptly yanked backwards and up.
Saving your ass, kiddo! Brace yourself!
"Brace myself?! For wha-" But before Tomoyo even had a second chance to utter his complete confusion as for what Tulip's plan was with her sword, he chocked on quite literally his own wards as his neck contorted into a parabola against her fist. Jolted backwards by the sudden net force provided by the resistance of the blade onto the cliff side, the hybrid child did not have much in the way of shock resistance resulting in quite the sore areas around his neck and torso. Shielding his eyes and face as sparks and stray gravel sprayed into his facial region, the half Human redirected his gaze back upwards to Tulip's face as his own contorted in surprise. "It's not working!"

“It’s not working!” The kid’s scream reached the woman’s ears, confirming her own dismal assessment of the current situation. Switching the grip on her blade, Tulip forced the blade to eat further into the cliff face as they continued their swift descent towards imminent death. The blade was creating a torrent of sparks that rained over the kid and woman, as she pulled Tomoyo closer to her side to protect him from the spraying gravel. Further down the cliff, a particularly sharp plane of black rock stuck out, angled directly towards the path of the blade. When Tulip’s focus shifted to the kid, she missed the incoming rock, which hit her in the hip, splitting open her flesh and spilling blood onto the rocks. The woman’s teeth gritted in pain, but that wasn’t the only bad thing that occurred. As the blade slammed into the rock, the blade stopped, yanking the two to a sudden halt. A high-pitched crack filled the air, before a ringing as the blade shattered, sending the two spilling outwards towards the open and away from the cliff. As the blade vibrated in her grip and slid from her hand, she detected a small presence, something so small the woman could barely grasp it. It shot towards Tomoyo, but the woman thrust out with one hand and grabbed the tiny wisp. A stabbing pain shot through her body, as if every vein in her body was filled by fire. Her vision blurred before she went limp, falling downwards alongside the boy towards the sharp rocks far below.
Tulip stood in an open plain, as a figure made of shadows slowly walked towards her. Stretching one hand out towards the woman, Tulip’s eyes widened in shock as a dozen blades tore though her body. Blood sprayed from her mouth, as the woman slowly fell to her knees. There were different blades of different origins stabbed through vital organs, effectively rendering the woman dead in only a few short moments.
Her eyes snapped open, as a figure made of black nothing stretched his hand out. A huge blade shot through the air, severing her torso down the middle. Tulip fell to the earth, blood filling her mouth as her legs fell to the ground next to her. Tears began filling the woman’s eyes, as she died.
Tulip stumbled into the plain, before a stabbing pain shot through her hand. Looking down at her hand, she realized there was a small knife embedded in her flesh. Reaching to pull it free, the knife suddenly exploded, shredding her hands. More knives buried themselves into her body, before exploding and ripping Tulip to shreds.
The woman sat on her knees, screaming in agony as the demon slowly began rematerializing from his disintegrated state. He looked at the woman he had taken mental control of. He had killed her mentally over a thousand times, and she was still barely hanging onto control of her soul and body. Noticing the woman’s jacket had come undone, the demon knelt next to her and began slowly running his hand along her slender frame. “This will be my new body. How you got the sword is a mystery to me, but your soul is going to shatter any moment now. Hmm...what is this?” His hand noticed the slight bump in her flesh, near her stomach. Pressing his fingers firmly against the injury, the demon shook his head. “So, you have suffered nigh fatal injuries? Too bad you didn’t train your mind enough.” Kill The demon’s eyes widened in shock, as swirling silver ki suddenly surrounded the woman. She thrust one hand out, grabbing his arm firmly. Before the demon could defend or attack, the woman thrust her fist through his heart. Both collapsed into the other, as the world they sat in began crumbling inwards.
Tulip barely shifted, as blood ran down her hip into her shirt, jacket, and pants. She fell alongside Tomoyo, no ki or energy could be sensed in the woman, as her emerald gaze was empty and lifeless.

Squirming for a few moments as he was pulled into a closer embrace by Tulip, Tomoyo soon shrunk into her grasp while attempting to evade the increasing gravel fall from her digging her blade further into the cliffside. The roaring torrents of water and deadly sharp rocks were approaching at a slower, yet still definite rate to the both of their horrors though. "I'm sca-...TULIP WATCH OUT!" About to complain for comfort from his older companion, Tomoyo's eyes widened in disbelief at such a horrid turn of events. Watching while unable to act out in protection, the hybrid child was rendered completely useless to all but bearing witness to the jutting out spire of earth ripping up and splitting the flesh along Tulip's side.
Feeling himself yanked to a halt as well as with Tulip with the blade's sudden stop, Tomo dared to breath a sigh of relief. "A-Are you okay?" Gasped the shaken half Human while clinging on desperately to Tulip's front. Not able to help as his gaze drifted down to the sickening sight of Tulip's split side, Tomoyo lifted up his head to the woman's face in hope of some recognition that she was alright. Opening his mouth after a moment of silence in order to express his worry, Tomoyo was barely even able to squeak before a sickening crack echoed along the side of the cliff before it was absorbed into the roaring waves. As the sword split across its blade sending the two hybrids careening out over the open waters, for a moment mid scream Tomo felt like he had almost witnessed some sort of wisp of a kind exploding towards him from the broken blade; but before he could even properly acknowledge it the spirit being was snatched up by Tulip with her extended hand.
...and that was the last thing that Tulip did.
"...T-Tulip?" Before his very eyes after her hand made contact with whatever that thing was, Tomoyo witnessed the thing that made his heart drop faster than their bodies as a icy bolt ran down his spine. The very glow of life faded from her pupils as Tulip's eyes transferred towards a milky and lifeless hue. "Tulip th-that's not funny." Blood openly streamed down her body and splayed the air covering even Tomo as her lifeless body ceased all movement. Thrusting back his neck before slamming his head against Tulip's chest, tears began slowly streaming up from the edges of Tomo's eyes before the wind stole them away mixing into the trail of falling blood behind. "WAKE UP! Please wake up, Tuli! I'm sorry! PLEASE!"
And yet despite practically shouting in her ear, his voice cracking under the pressure into desperate whines, they did nothing to help as her arms remained splayed to the sides and still without life. Digging his head into Tulip's chest while hugging her tight, his eyes reddened from irritating tears while Tomoyo screamed into her body hoping she would wake up. "I apologized Tuli. Please wake up... DON'T GO! IM SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!" Why did he ever think that she hated him... all this time Tomoyo had been acting like the worst person ever probably and he had never even gotten the chance to apologize for fear that she would hate him more... but if anything she had just proven she loved and cared about him just as much!
...yet why... why did he have to only realize this when she was gone?!

Tulip’s eyes slowly regained focus, as she reoriented herself in reality. The burning in her body was gone, replaced by a dull throbbing that encompassed her whole person. She noticed the blood streaming from her hip, which was throbbing even worse than the rest of her person. She couldn’t hear the words the boy spoke, only feel it as he wrapped his arms around her chest. She noticed a slight, bitter taste, as warm drops struck the woman’s face. Was...the kid crying for me? A soft smile crossed the woman’s face, before she wrapped her arms around the kid. Leaning forward, she whispered into Tomoyo’s ear. “Don’t worry, kiddo. It’ll be alright.” Thrusting one arm outwards, the woman narrowed her gaze. A sword that was twice as tall as the kid materialized, burying itself into the face of the cliff. The pair slowed down significantly, as the cold waterfall roared down beside them. Looking down at the young boy still clinging to her, the young woman smiled and muttered. “Do you trust me?” Before he could respond, the woman set her good foot against the cliff and began trying to infuse the limb with ki. A look of shock crossed the woman’s face, as a blade suddenly appeared, knocking the woman outward. Her face contorted with shock and pain, as her body was twisted around by the sudden surprise. Her body slammed into the blade as she twisted to avoid letting the kid hit the sword. Her body passed through the blade as it dispersed, letting the woman carry the boy safely further down the cliff. Her eyes were weak, as the woman struggled to think of a way to safely survive. She tightened her arms around the boy, trying desperately to come up with an idea. A sudden, deep voice echoed through her mind, one she both recognized and had never heard before. ”Here’s my last gift to you, daughter of mortal descent.” Her eyes widened in shock, as a sudden, deep power coursed through her body. Her side was healed by a flash of silver ki, as the woman suddenly halted in the air. Thrusting her free hand outwards, Tulip began laughing as she realized she was flying. Soaring through the waterfall, the woman descended to the shore next to the huge lake just outside. Stumbling to the ground, the woman dropped Tomoyo onto the shore and began laughing as she fell backwards onto the shore. Reaching one hand towards the sky, the woman looked across at Tomoyo and muttered. “Looks like we survived another one, kiddo.”

Don’t worry, kiddo. It’ll be alright.
Eyes widening in shock, as if his ears and the howling winds had deceived him, Tomoyo almost didn't dare raise his head to look... but after 3 unbearable seconds he couldn't stay away any longer. Lifting back up his head from Tulip's shirt, a jolt ran through his chest as the tears began flowing freely once more... but they weren't tears of despair this time however, but tears of joy. "T-TULI! TULI YOUR ALIVE!" Screaming with relieved sobs before squeezing his arms around the girl even tighter than before, as if her spirit would just fly off if he let go, Tomoyo rejoiced like he never had before knowing that Tulip would be alright.
Er... alright relatively... the problem still existed that now they had returned to the previous sensation of falling to their deaths; and that water water getting dangerously close. "U-Um Tuli... what are you go-" but before Tomo could even muster a question as for what the girl's intentions were to be, the words were quickly jumbled and snatched right out from the hybrid's maw as their bodies rocketed back away from the cliffside by some sort of energy blade. Now, that alone would have been cause enough for excitement and astonishment from Tomoyo at Tulip... but that was only the tip of the ice burg.
Not moments later even, the two hybrid's fall came to a complete stop as a warm glow bathed them in a mysterious and energizing light. When the brightness had dimmed somewhat and Tomoyo's senses had come about, he took notice that they weren't falling, but floating now. "Y-You can fly!? Tuli! You can fly!" Repeating quite the obvious while warily eyeing the ground as the two swooped this way and that in the air, a giggle or two found its way to escape from the frightened child's throat as well while Tulip soared uninhibited.
Looks like we survived another one, kiddo.
Falling a foot or so when they two had finally approached a stable shore with land, Tomo shakily plopped onto solid earth while his knees nearly buckled in on him seconds later. Collapsing in a similar manner onto his back next to Tulip, the hybrid half Human's arms lay splayed to the sides with legs mirroring, gasping for breath all the while... In all the excitement though, it seemed that Tomoyo had forgotten something that only made things seem more weird and suspicious in full context. A confused and partially irrated expression crossed Tomo's face as he lay still and evened out his breathing.
"...how come you got to fly, and not me."
