First off, I'd like to welcome Zucceta back to the staff team. Now that we have 4 admins we'll always need someone to act as our tie-breaker.
Now, something that we realized in the staff skype chat a moment ago was that we never discussed what Unique Characteristics (or traits if you prefer) the minion that comes from the Sealed Ball (or Evil Cocoon as Vi likes to call it) should have. We considered just letting them have the UC's of the race they come from, but we felt it was too simple that way. It's a special item, so it needs a special set of UC's.
Now there are two routes we can go with this:
A: One set of UC's for the Sealed Ball minion, that anyone who uses it has to use.
OR
B: Multiple UC's to choose from, that the user can mix and match to apply to their Sealed Ball Minion.
Seeing as I doubt we'll be running under the assumption that the Sealed Ball will be re-used in the future, we should just focus on Option A for now.
To Kick-start the idea ball(heh), I've come up with a few UC's of my own.
Hardened Body: The Minion has incredibly thick skin, and as such, is unphased by simple weaklings. The Minion gains a permanent +x1 (or maybe +x2) to their defensive PL.
Strength Retention: The Sealed Ball may sap a lot of power from the being it traps, but it cannot contain all of its power. The Sealed Ball's Base PL doubles each time it survives a Death Enabled thread. (I.E: Sealed Ball starts at 1k PL, then moves to 2k, then 4k, then 8k, then 16k, then 32k, then 64k, then 128k then MAYBE 256k. Perhaps capping at 128k would be a good idea?)
Trump Card: The Minion may be old, but it's got quite a few tricks up its sleeve. The User of the Sealed Ball may apply for a Special technique that only the Minion can use.
Imposing Presence: The Minion is a powerful being, and as such, commands a great deal of respect. Allies of the Minion gain a something something I cant think of anything.

The Sealed Ball
The Sealed Ball is a magical artifact, created by a powerful wizard many millennia ago. Though it was thought to have been destroyed in a battle long ago, some explorers have come across it in a cave near the core of a distant far-off planet. The Creature inside can be any race the owner desires, with the same modifiers as the base race. (though it would be weird if someone chose a Saiyan or Human)
The Sealed Ball's effect; Minion Creation by Combat:
The Sealed Ball can be placed in any Open DE thread. Once placed, it will draw in the natural energies being output by all combat participants in a thread, feeding whatever beast is brewing inside. The mechanics of such would be as follows:
The Sealed Ball starts at 1,000 PL.
Any time an N1 is fired, the Sealed Ball gains 10% of the PL fired as its own PL.
Any time a UP2 is fired, the Sealed Ball gains 20% of the PL fired as its own PL.
Any time an MP3 is fired, the Sealed Ball gains 30% of the PL fired as its own PL.
Once the Sealed Ball's PL reaches 120% of the strongest player in-thread, it forcibly opens up, allowing the creature inside to burst forth.
To destroy the Sealed Ball, you must fire an attack at it that is at least within 80% of the Sealed Ball's current PL. Firing an attack at the Sealed Ball will not increase its PL unless the attack is defended against by someone else.
Once the thread ends, the Sealed Ball sucks the creature back inside, reverting its PL to 1,000 until the next thread.
