Kaula sighed out. She was still here. Still stuck on King Kai's planet. She had managed to change out of her tournament garb in favor of her last dress - however this one wasn't damaged. She flicked her wrist up, a stone triangle spinning up into the air before coming back down to towards the hybrid Saiyaness which she promptly caught with the hand that had tossed it up. She continued to do this, sitting underneath one of the few trees on the small planet. The Saiyan herself seemed.. Off. Instead of in her usual base form, she seemed to just be relaxing in her Super Saiyan state. Oh so casually! Her spiky, pale gold hair moved slightly in the breeze for a few moments before it relaxed and she went back to tossing that odd piece of dark cyan stone. "It's all just so.. Boring." the girl groaned, rolling those teal super saiyan eyes of her. "I could train but.. Man.. I have never faced an opponent as strong as me." the Saiyaness paused, thinking back at what she just said before adding an amendment to her statement, "Well.. I guess besides Zucceta.. Reikiko.. And Bing.. Only one down here is Reikiko and she's been silent. So.. There's really no point in training. I am not going to find someone who's as strong as me down here." She just groaned out a little bit, "Can't even really show off until the tournament either!" she said, suddenly flinging the triangle into the sky with more force than she had been before! It threatened to leave the planet! Kaula, however, had noticed this and leapt up to catch it last second before landing back on the planet's surface with a soft 'tuk'. She dug the tip of her boot into the dirt for a second, her tail swaying behind her. She hadn't seen Pieter or Articho Reville in hours. So she was curious and called out to the younger of the two. "Hey Articho, wanna see something cool!?" the hybrid roared out as she smirked to herself. Sure, she couldn't show off one little party trick right now - but she could show off other ones!

Articho yawned as he leaned against the trunk of one of the trees on King Kai's planet with his hands behind his head and one leg crossed over the other, dozing off slightly as he stared off towards the vast orange clouds. Quiet. Everything was quiet. Quiet, slow, and a little bit boring. The initial excitement of getting chosen to train with King Kai had worn off finally and now he was just kind of...waiting. Waiting for the next time he decided to train. Waiting for the afterlife tournament. Waiting for when he could return to Earth, alive and well. Waiting, waiting, waiting. He yawned again and scratched his face, his eyes drooping slightly as he began to doze off. As soon as his eyes closed, the sound of Kaula shouting his name made him jerk awake again. His head knocked against the tree trunk, producing a solid thunk noise and making the hybrid groan in pain. He stood up, rubbing the back of his head and following the sound of Kaula's voice. He had actually been warming up to the idea of a nap, but the new welt forming on the back of his head would prevent that for a while. "It'd better be," he said in annoyance. "I was about to take a nap and you're kind of interrupting it."Kaula

Kaula was waiting for a moment. The Super Saiyan just chuckled when she heard the loud thunk. She assumed he might have fallen or hit something out of anger. She turned slightly to glance at Articho when he spoke. The girl just shrugged, her tail curling around her waist, "You know, first off, if you're going to laze about, the least you could be doing while you laze is try to focus on controlling your ki while you do." while Kaula spoke, her power was resting at roughly three and a half million - not surprising considering she was in her Super Saiyan form.
"... Aaaaanyway. Watch this." she said, holding up the triangular stone. If he got a close look - it looked like one of those triangles that were along the path on Snake Way. Kaula flicked her wrist, sending the triangle flying around... It quickly zipped by her once.. And then again.. And again, it was a small planet, after all. She hopped forward and suddenly turned, her knee raised slightly and her index and middle finger on her right hand pointing forward.
Gathering her ki, the girl suddenly roared out: "DODONPA!" and ki shot forth, piercing the slab on one of it's round trips.
It fell onto the grass below with a thin hole right in the center. She started to walk towards it, sighing as she crouched down to pick it up, blowing the smoke a little bit as Kaula rose back to her full, unimpressive height.
"I'm making something for someone special." she said. The girl seemed a little bit.. Unusually cheery - at least for her. She was usually grumpy. Or bored. Or mad. Or annoyed, whenever she was on King Kai's planet, "Do you have anyone uh.. Special?"

Articho frowned at Kaula as his own tail flicked in annoyance. His nap had already been interrupted by her and the last thing he wanted was to be lectured on what he should be doing by the same person, even though he knew she was right. "I already know how to do all that stuff," he protested, crossing his arms. "Besides, I'm entitled to a few breaks where I'm not focusing on something. Sleep is required for the body to function at its fullest potential."
Articho silently watched as Kaula chucked the triangular rock, following its path around and around the small planet. He raised an eyebrow when she suddenly leapt forward and shot a hole through the small stone and stared at her in confusion as she picked it up. "Alright, you've shown me that that beam has more uses than shooting me through the chest," Articho stated as Kaula stood up straight again, cracking a slight grin at his own expense.
"By someone special, I assume you mean someone I'm romantically involved with," he replied. "In which case, no, I don't, and it's honestly through lack of trying." He made a mental note to actually call one of the girls he'd gotten a number from a while back, though he wasn't sure how well it'd go. Growing up isolated in the mountains with nothing but an old man for company was a good way to stunt one's own social skill development. "If I had to take a guess, I'd say you're making a ring of some sort as either a gift or for a proposal," he continued, gesturing to the stone triangle in her hand.

Kaula rolled her eyes, "You know, I had an idea on how to.. Ascend.. Without the trauma that I had to go through. But if you wanna say you know how to do that stuff.." Kaula was soon balancing the triangle on her index finger, "That's cool, I guess." the Saiyaness hybrid added as she stuck her tongue out at him.
She momentarily flinched when he mnetioned the beam. She kind of forgot about that, but eventually went to shrug it off. "Hey. You were strong enough to survive. Good on ya for it." the girl explained. She started to flick the triangle up, letting it spin before she caught it again.
"Oh man. You sure it's your lack of trying?" the girl finally asked, "I mean, if I had to take a shot, it'd be that attitude of yours!" the girl laughed out, tossing the triangle up, catching it with a single finger sticking through the hole she had made. "But yeah. You're right." Kaula continued with a shrug, "Kind of obvious, I guess. I got a girl back at home. One I uh.. Actually met. Not one I like who threatened to kill everyone I know if I didn't marry her. But that's a different story." she said, waving her left hand around.
"I uhh.." Kaula paused a few moments, "Only saw her briefly when I had my day pass. I was worried if she saw me, only for me to leave again, that'd she would.. Be in a worse state than she already was. I mean, I kiiiiinda promised I'd return from Vegeta, and look at how that turned out."
Kaula laughed a bit at her own expense, moving to take a seat on the ground as she continued to try to make small talk, "So. Any family back in the living world? I only really got my mother. She's on Earth right now. I think she quit being a soldier in Zucceta's army."

"Yes, because last time I experienced great trauma, it definitely helped me reach higher planes of power and it didn't result in my friend being left dead in the snow, never to return to the living world," Articho replied sarcastically, giving Kaula a pointed glare. He sighed, dropping his gaze for a moment before looking back at her. "I get what you're saying, at least: train into that higher state of Super Saiyan that you and Kami knows who else achieved so I don't have to throw a temper tantrum is Saiyans are so well known for. Lucky for me, I get the feeling that that's a long way off for me, so I'll burn that bridge or throw that bitch fit when I get there." Now it was his turn to roll his eyes, smiling slightly in amusement as Kaula stuck her tongue out. "And I though I was the immature one."
The hybrid's smile widened a bit as he watched Kaula flinch at the mention of his near murder by her hands. "I was stronger after it was over, that's for sure" he replied, his right hand brushing the spot where the beam had punctured his chest. "The only reason I survived is because we're lucky enough to have magic, healing beans always ripe for the picking."
Articho scoffed in mock annoyance. "Please. Girls love the cocky routine, especially when you've got the bite to match the bark," he answered, taking a moment to strike a goofy pose. "Of course, spending nine years of my life isolated with nothing but an old man for company did not do me any favors towards knowing how to convince one to actually date me." He laughed along with her, though, crossing his arms again with an impressed whistle at her next few statements. "Wooooow, and here I thought your personality was even more abrasive than mine. Making strides in the right direction." He smiled as he gave her a joking punch to the shoulder.
"I know the feeling," Articho agreed as he sat down next to her, his smile fading. He shrugged at her next question. "I've got my mom and I managed to drag my dad back home. He's taken quite well to living a normal life, too. I've also got a cousin and her family, but I haven't spoken to her in a while."
