So, we've been talking a little in the Cbox and A LOT in the skype chat about a potential kart racing thread, hosted by yours truly. I know what you're thinking. WhaAAAAaaaAAaat?! A race thread?! How would that even work- this is NOT a fighting tournament! Well, we've worked up a few ideas if you are interested in such a fun thread. This thread will just be for funsies, it PREFERABLY will not be an DE- and I'd prefer if nobody made it one. With peace finally coming to the World of Dragonball Souls, what is a better way to have fun than with a good ol' race? Here are some rules for the thread-

Your character MUST have a vehicle!
No running or flying the course. You must nyoom through with a car, bike or... uh, tricycle.
Ki attacks can be used to stun and hinder other fighters, but no killing or blowing up cars will be allowed IC-ly. You will be penalized if you do so. Use your attacks like you would throw a green shell at someone in Mario Kart!
To enter, you must pay a 500 Zeni Fee. The winner of the race gets all the Zeni that was entered in from the participants! Second and third place could get some neato items, or some art done by me right away if there's nothing else I can give them. First gets a shaded reference sheet, second gets a shaded fullbody, and third gets a shaded headshot avatar. ALL participants that will get a free lineart torso, though!
Only ONE of your characters may enter!

Mechanically, this will work different from a fighting tourney. I am still working out how this will properly work to make it not a clusterfuck, but a fun, interactive thread, yet here are my ideas-

A dice will be rolled in the beginning to decide who gets what place.
The thread will be split into several threads, so 1st through 3rd will be in one thread, 4th through 7th will be in another, etc.
If someone stays in first place for long enough in their respective thread, they move to the next thread! So if someone in fourth place in the 4th-6th thread stays 4th for, two posts, perhaps? Well, they will move to the 1st-3rd thread! After that, the 3rd place in the 1-3 thread will move back to the 4-6 thread.
It will last for a limited amount of posts, maybe 15 per member before the race ends, with two posts equaling a single lap out of five- I'm still working all this out, here.
There is a 72 hour time limit to post! If you don't post once, you will be skipped. If you don't post two times in a row, you will be eliminated from the race. You'll still get your line art, though!
You will move up places with the use of crafty tactics, post quality, creativity, and much more. If your post is good, you will move up!
Your PL will be cut down to 999 for the race, even if you don't have Ki suppression. This is just so that you can't tank attacks and win that way- you gotta be creative to win this.
Couldn't register in time? Never to fear! There will be one or two open spectating threads for you to sit back, have some snacks, and watch the racers go on and brawl on the course.

By the way, a suggestion for this tournament. Make it a bout of using RP skills and strategizing, rather than abusing the living hell out of your Power Levels. So, potentially, if you are creative enough and do some really good ideas using character, you can move up in your position even if you have little to no Power Level.

In other words, everyone in the race will all be at the same PL, so everyone has a fair chance at winning

Wow really neat idea - however going on for 15 posts each person will likely result in the thread being 5-9 pages long! Which will result in graders skipping it a lot and it needing to be placed in it's own T2G. Just a heads up!
