The Saiyan goddess of the Simian jungle world grumbled as she adjusted a length of piping in a section of her jumbled ship made from scavenged parts of various races. "Why," she grunted, "won't you get back in there?" With a final slap of her palm she forced the argumentative lump of metal into position, the ship groaning somewhat in response before the lights in that section flickered into existence. Brassica wiped the sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand as she sat there for a moment, her eyes looking around the interior of her ramshackle vessel. "I'm definitely gonna need new parts soon... that's the second bust up this week." the Saiyaness sighed as she stood up and began to walk down the empty corridors of the ship. Ever since she'd been able to get this hunk of self made junk's engine core running and powering up the artificial gravity field chamber she'd built into it, it had started to come apart on several occasions. Nothing that would cause any alarm, the containment field for the reactor itself was still in top condition... well, more or less. It was within the safety parameters and that was good enough for her. Not like she could do anything to fix that if it became an issue though, short of shutting the whole thing down completely. But if it came to that, she'd have to wait till another ship came down from which she could salvage their engine core and then rig that one up to work in her mixed up vessel. That was the one downside to living on a jungle planet in the middle of space outside of the normal trade routes that had no discernible level of technology beyond simple iron forges. But it was something she could contend with for the time being... right now though, she had to get back to the Temple's surface. It was almost time for the Solar Eclipse to occur, and since the population believed her to be a Moon Deity, it was a given that she should be there for the ceremony. The Eclipse only occured once every eighteen years apparently according to the locals... the last one occuring the day before she had arrived on this world. Brassica silently hoped that this years Eclipse didn't bring with it any more Saiyan visitors... She'd lost track of where the child Rabiko and the male Pippar had gone off to, and Koko was still recovering her strength in the Goddess' quarters. As she ascended to her throne chamber in the Temple, the pod that she'd arrived in serving as her throne, she looked out to the assembled crowd of Simians, her adopted people, all of whom were looking up to her and the skies above them. The Saiyan did likewise, the sun streaming down to the world below in all its brilliant light. Ironically for Brassica, this was the one time she could safely look up at the moon, since whilst it was eclipsing the sun, it wouldn't be reflecting any Blutz waves down towards her... the last thing she wanted was to turn into her Oozaru form during this ceremony and go on a rampage. It was something she hadn't quite yet learned how to master, that raw guttural power, that raw brutality that was the Saiyans Great Ape form. The fact that she didn't have any real control over herself during that time gnawed away at her. She had worked so hard to build this city, this community... she held no desire to see it destroyed by anything, let alone herself during those times the moon was full and shining down upon her planet. But such thoughts were for another day. For now, she spread her arms wide, the assembled throng below silencing themselves at her mere gesture. "My people!" she called down to them, her voice ringing out clear across the distance. "Today marks the anniversary of our age, the age of the Simians. Eighteen years ago, the Simians were hunted for sport and food by the other races of this world. Eighteen years ago, the Simians hid in the jungle, surviving as best they could against the odds." said Brassica, the first edges of the moon beginning to stretch across the sun's disk. "Eighteen years ago, the Simians prayed for aid... and so I arrived. In aiding you, you also aided me... when I was small and young, I did not know how to fully control my powers in this world. The Simians of that day gave me the time I needed to unleash my fury against those who would devour us!" she called out, the Simians below cheering and roaring their agreements and platitudes. The sun overhead was now but a quarter of its former brilliance, the moon encroaching upon its territory ever more. As the shadow of the moon fell upon the world, torches began to be lit in its wake. "You all have raised me as one of your own. You shown me the secret deaths and lives of the jungle. You have cared for me when I was young and fell ill. You suffered through my maturing and somehow put up with me." she said, the throng below chuckling at her last sentence, recalling the memories of that time. "In return, I have done my best to protect you all. To help give birth to several of you here today. To seek shelter and medicine for many of you. To look after the little ones, although they were still larger than me and never let me forget it for a moment," smirked the Goddess, the ones in the crowd who this applied to laughing and cheering at the recognition, "among many things." The sun's light was shadowed almost in half now by the moon. "And so it is that on this day, I reaffirm my pledge to you all. For as long as I draw breath, I will do whatever it takes to protect all Simians from those that would harm us. We are family, we are one people... I may be your Goddess, but I am also sister, daughter, aunt, niece to you... just as you all are brother, sister, mother, father, cousin, nephew, niece to me." she finished, the crowd below cheering as the last light of the sun winked out behind the moon... but not before a small shadow in its disk was seen by the Saiyan. Great... she thought with a slight frown. We've got company... looks like I'll be reaffirming that pledge sooner than I thought.

Pin sat in the captain's seat of the Pixie Blue, monitoring her systems as the ship entered the atmosphere of the jungle planet. Preliminary scans showed that this planet had dense vegetation biomes and plenty of life - all indication that this was exactly where Habana had wanted to go. He flicked a few switches overhead and slowly eased up on the throttle, shifting the engines from zero-gravity mode to atmospheric flight. He pressed a little red button and leaned forward towards the microphone in his console.
"Looks like we've arrived, Commander. I'll look for a place to set us down."
As he piloted the Pixie into the planet's lower atmosphere, he surveyed the surroundings. Dense treelines made it difficult to find a proper place to put down a starship - at least, to put it down safely. He had no intention of crashing his ship intentionally. Who knew if this planet would have any sort of supply depot where he could find spare parts to make repairs. What a nightmare that would be! Stuck on this rock with no way off.
He also noticed that the planet happened to be right in the middle of a solar eclipse event. Neat. It was around this time that Pin spotted little pinpoints of light below - torchlight, by the looks of things as he cycled through the various spectra of light in his helmet's visor. He brought the Pixie down, through a couple of low-hanging clouds, until he spotted what looked like a temple, with a fair gathering of what were probably the natives.
"Commander, I may have just alerted the natives to our arrival. I should be able to find a place to touch down nearby - the vegetation isn't as heavy in this area."
Pin banked hard to the west, bringing the ship about a half mile away from the temple before finding a clearing big enough for the Pixie to land safely. He engaged the landing gear, switched to the vertical thrusters, and slowly, gingerly placed his baby down on the dirt, grass, and roots below. Once he was satisfied with the landing, he powered the ship down and went to join Habana and Jala in the common area. He had a feeling Granzel was going to regret missing out on this one.
"Ready to disembark?"

| Search for the Saiyan! Habana grinned as Pin told her of there arrival the only thing keeping them from proceeding was of course the need to land the ship as while Habana had no qualms about simply dashing out of the ship mid-air and Jala while less eager than her daughter would be willing if Habana decided to do so, the fact that Pin's ship was a bit less disposable to him than a standard pod meant that if they were to exit as a group they would need to wait on Pin to land. Thankfully the process of landing the Pixie was not a terribly long affair and it gave Habana a chance to get a look at the world from above, it was easy enough to note a local settlement and through that Habana could feel some of the more powerful signatures nearby.
“Feel anything?” Jala questioned taking a few steps to place herself at Habana's side, where Habana had a natural gift for reading power signatures even without the aid of a scouter Jala was not so lucky, she had never had need to learn the art either simply utilizing her scouter if ever it was necessary to gauge a foe's power. “A few, there seems to be a pretty high average power if the feelings I'm getting are accurate, a few outliers on the low and high side. With luck our saiyan's one of the high readings.” Habana said with a shrug, focusing in on some of the stronger signatures as the ship continued its descent, none that she could feel were near her own however there were a few that would certainly give Pin and perhaps even Jala a hard time.
“Yup, the locals being alerted to our arrival shouldn't be much of a problem, in fact it might even make things a bit easier on us if we can get some information on where our saiyan is out of them.” Habana would then turn to Jala “What sort of data do we have on the planet?” “Original assessments put it surprisingly high for a child to be sent here, high enough that the Empire did not send any additional scouts after it's initial assessment. The child's arrival -should- have coincided with a full moon though so that, or poor oversight, may have accounted for why they were sent alone. The child was sent roughly twenty one years ago so we're looking for an adult. Average power assessments indicate that by now the would, if the child was successful, should be devoid of the bulk of it's life at bare minimum so you feeling a not insignificant amount of energy signatures of reasonable power indicates either failure or a poor power assessment of the planet.” Jala read off what little information they had on the planet peppered with her own assessments based off the situation.
“Hmm, well lets just hope this trip wasn't for nothing and that our lost saiyan has just been having a rough time with the mission. If so and the locals are tough enough to stand up to the occasional Oozaru battle then this world might even be worthwhile for the Empire. Lets get going” Habana said with a grin, with that she would await Pin to open up the ship's exit and then proceed out into the unknown making a beeline for the temple that Pin had flown over during the landing.

A bolt of ki energy flew down towards the group as they exited the ship, aimed so it would serve as a warning shot rather than anything actually serving as an offensive move. Brassica floated down to be on level with the new arrivals, her eyes taking in the sight of them and not particularly liking what she was seeing. At least two of them were Saiyans, no doubt the one with less clothing was the one in charge judging from the other two's actions around her. Flaunting the fact that she didn't need armour or any form of physical protection. "That's far enough I think." she declared as she held a hand to her side, beginning to generate ki into her palm, charging up her next attack.
She couldn't tell yet how strong these people were, but she wasn't going to take any chances. "State your business, and then you can get the hell off of my planet." snarled the Saiyan female as she tried to figure out a battle plan besides just blasting them. There were three of them and one of her... smartest bet would be to try and take out the lead Saiyan first, but Brassica had no idea how strong the woman was. For all she knew, this female could be far stronger than she was... but at the same time, she could also be weaker.
The fact that two of them were carrying visible Scouter devices or some variant judging from the male's helmet wasn't helping the situation. If she could, she would've tried to snatch the Scouter from them to see who and what she was dealing with... but given the situation, the Saiyan Goddess doubted she would even be able to pull off such a feat before she got her backside ganged up on. No, she had to play this smart... the one in charge wouldn't have brought anyone that was her equal in power, which meant the other two had to be weaker than her. So, the smart bet would be to take out those two first, then work on the leader.
But which one to go for first... the non-Saiyan male seemed to be the safest bet. Take out the weakest in the herd first, standard move... one that no doubt the trio would be expecting, but sadly Brassica didn't have many other options left to her. The fact that they had purposefully landed instead of crashing meant they had come here on purpose, and if Saiyans were coming here on purpose, that could only mean one thing in her mind. They were here for the planet, regardless of who was on it already. She could only hope that if she failed to stop them herself, that they'd be stupid enough to go for a wander and brush up against some of the plants in the jungle... especially the more venomous ones. If she didn't take them out, then hopefully the planet would do the job for her.
KP: 2/3 1st turn Charging: [N1] Lunar Spear: She charges her Ki into her hand as a sphere of white energy, before she then fires it as a destructive beam towards her target.

Pin cursed quietly under his breath. Somehow he’d completely missed this woman’s approach. Neither his internal sensors nor the Pixie’s readouts had picked her up - or if they had, Pin hadn’t noticed. Not his finest moment, that much was for sure. True, Habana didn’t need him as a bodyguard, but this was a matter of professional pride. He had a job to do, an open contract with Habana, and part of that contract was his usual battery of services. He was lucky that Vegeta didn’t have Yelp reviews.
Regardless, now was not the time to agonize over his mistakes. A young Saiyan woman hovered overhead. She’d loosed a warning shot at their feet as they exited the ship - HIS ship. She was in the process of charging a fresh attack, and had demanded to know their business and in no uncertain terms had asked them to fuck right off. A brief scan of this woman showed that she was certainly no slouch. She was strong, but no match for Habana. She seemed to be about on par with himself at the end of the day. About. He was fairly certain that if it came to it, he could win this fight.
Pin’s Shoulder Cannon slid from it’s housing, mounted in place, and took aim at the young woman. A low hum filled the air as the cannon charged itself, the soft orange glow of ki and heat radiating from within the barrel of the weapon. Pin was glad to finally get a chance to use the cannon. He’d installed it fairly recently and had been itching to try it out against someone on his level.
As an added precaution, Pin drew his blaster pistol from the holster on his hip and held it at his side. It wasn’t a devastating weapon, but it was reliable. His shoulder cannon was powerful and accurate, but it used up a lot of energy. A good sidearm is critical. Everyone has a plan until they get shot at.
Whoever this woman was, she was used to reverence of some kind to be making demands with such confidence, to show such transparent hostility to visitors. She was a chief, or a queen, or some sort of authority figure. Pin smirked behind his helmet. Habana’s assessments had been completely off target. The saiyan they were looking for didn’t get defeated, wasn’t having trouble accomplishing the mission. No, if this woman was the one they were looking for, she had - to at least some extent - taken over.
“Just give the order Commander,” Pin said, “And I’ll bring this bird down.”

1st turn: Charging [UP2] Shoulder Cannon: Pin has installed a cannon into his right shoulder. Operating on the same principles of his Blaster Pistol but with greater firepower, the cannon is housed inside Pin's body during downtime. During battle, however, the Shoulder Cannon slides out of its housing to rest on a swivel mount on Pin's shoulder.

| The Welcoming Committee It certainly had not taken long before they departed the ship for the local welcoming committee to arrive in the form of a singular woman launching a blast of energy at the area just in front of them reflexively causing the group to halt there progression even if the blast itself was fired with little offensive power a clear intention by the woman who had fired it to simply halt them before they could progress further. She quickly request they state there intentions and then leave -her- planet before beginning to power up a significantly more substantial technique than the one she had first fired. Jala and Pin were rather instantly prepared for battle with Pin even going so far as to deploy a new weapon, some sort of shoulder cannon that pulsed with power.
“That shouldn't be necessary quite yet Pin, I think our new friend here has managed to make our job substantially easier even if she does not quite realize it.” With Habana suggesting restraint Jala briefly glanced at her daughter confused by her action before turning back to look at the other girl realizing now what it was Habana was getting at, the girl was actually rather clearly a saiyan, very likely to in fact be the girl they were here for.
“You have a rather interesting way of greeting newcomers, but then again while perhaps a bit more zealous it's actually pretty in line with things back home. That Android Cipher received a rather rough arrival didn't he Pin?” Habana said giving Pin a grin, Cipher's arrival on Vegeta had been all but met with a full on military response, with even Habana herself coming down to meet with him to see what his purpose was for visiting Vegeta so soon after the war.
“As for my business, YOU are our business here actually. I am Habana, Commander of the Saiyan Solar Empire. Far too many young Saiyans are sent off on missions that many of them don't have any chance of succeeding at and unfortunately in the shifting state of leadership of the Empire many have been forgotten. I'm here to fix that, to bring Saiyans like yourself who should be apart of the Empire back home. You're quite strong, far more so than average, and if you claiming this as 'your' planet means you've managed to conquer it then that's all the more impressive. But you could be MORE, MUCH more.” Habana said hoping that at the very least it would get the girl to cool her jets just a bit, give them a bit more of a chance to speak with her, the girl WAS very powerful, significantly stronger than Habana had been at that age, she and Pin were in the same general power bracket and if she pushed hard enough the girl might even be able to stand up against Jala.
Habana briefly glanced skyward noting the eclipse, eclipses were a bit of a strange point for saiyans, usually they, to the frustration of every saiyan with a tail, disrupted the ability to transform into an Oozaru which meant that even with tonight being a Full Moon the saiyaness before them would remain in her current state, a rather ideal situation as Pin being an android was unable to transform, her mother's recent surgery had likewise blocked off her access to the transformation, and Habana herself had always been incapable of making the change much to her frustration. Amusingly if the full moon HAD been able to provide the girl with the power then if she chose to fight them then her only real opponent would be Habana herself and even the might of an Oozaru transformation would do little to provide her with the strength needed to face a Super Saiyan.

Brassica blinked at the sight of a cannon growing, no that wasn't the right word, emerging from the man's shoulder. Oh great, he's a bloody robot. she thought before smirking. Oh great, he's a robot. Means I don't have to hold back then. Then the one in charge interrupted him, and began to address her herself. The Saiyan gave a snort at her comment about greeting newcomers. "Given the average newcomer here's usually interested in disrupting my world, it seems appropriate." she said, listening to the rest of the speech. Brassica frowned as this Habana revealed they had actually come for her herself. Thought I'd gotten rid of that transponder... she thought to herself before grumbling. Must be one hidden in either a part of my ship, or a secondary device in the pod.
She did chuckle a little though at the mentioning of having conquered this planet. "My dear Commander Habana, first thing you learn about this world very quickly is that you don't conquer it. You survive it." she said before firing her charged bolt of energy, seemingly towards them, but actually striking a pink flower covered vine that had been slowly creeping up towards them. "Pretty thing isn't it?" asked the Saiyan as she descended to ground level. "Problem is the tiny thorns lining the stem just beneath the flowers. It's not immediate, takes about ten minutes for it to take effect. They feel like an itch at first, but then as you scratch at that itch, it spreads the toxins into the bloodstream and well... it ain't pretty and lets leave it at that." said Brassica as she took stock of the situation.
The fact that they had come specifically for her, and with what little Habana had revealed about the state of the Saiyan Empire itself, meant that things were slowly apparently becoming dire. She crossed her arms over her chest. "Guessing things didn't go well then with Earth?" she asked the Commander. "Killed a slaver and his crew a while back who were trying to find a place to lay low from the Solar Saiyan Fleet that was heading that way." explained Brassica with a shrug. She glanced to the side as her adopted sister soon arrived, the eight foot tall Simian blinking at the sight of the newcomers. "Jul'ica, meet Commander Habana of the Solar Saiyan Empire and her associates. Commander meet Jul'ica, my blood-sister and one of the best warriors amongst the Simians." she said before looking to her adoptive sibling.
"The priests are wondering what was transpiring." said the Simian, Brassica sighing and nodding her head. "Tell them I'll be returning shortly... and that we'll be having guests. It seems that things are going to be changing around here rather shortly." said the Saiyan, the Simian nodding her head before taking off back towards the temple city. Brassica looked up at the slowly waning Solar Eclipse before returning her gaze to Habana and her cohorts. "My arrival eighteen years ago coincided with the last Solar Eclipse... shortly afterwards there was a full moon, and well... they believed me to be a Goddess given flesh. Understandable when you compare the Simians to Oozaru and notice the resemblances, and that back then they were wielding stone." she said as she slowly began to ascend.
"You're free to park your ship in the arena at the foot of the temple if you want... unless you feel like having a brand new garden growing on top of it, if you're coming along." she said before she took off back to the temple city. She had to play this one safe. The fact they had come here specifically for her, or rather, any Saiyan that was here, meant that they needed her for something... and whenever the Saiyan Empire wanted something, they tended to get it. Best she could do right now was to try and ensure the preservation of the Simians and what they had built under her guidance, and to do that, she had to play the part of good host.
If they decided to fly beside her, she'd look to the Commander. "The Simians have a far greater capacity to learn than any other species I could find in my space pods database. They've advanced from stone age tools to iron age in the short space of time I've been here. Where once they lived in the trees high up from the predator races, they now have a massive singular city that protects them from the jungle and predators alike." she exposited for the Commander's sake. "You saw Jul'ica. Now imagine similar races, but instead of ape-like they're reptiles, cats, insectoids, and I've even seen one or two Mammoth types that the locals refer to as Ancients." explained Brassica. There was a faint rumble in the distance that caused her to look sharply in its direction before she let out a sigh of relief. "Then there's Ere'kus and his siblings... a series of active volcanoes that dot this planet. Whenever they shake, everyone pays attention. Guessing just now he's stretching himself, so nothing to worry about at the moment." she mused as she flew.

Pin watched carefully, but as Habana had ordered, did not fire. Instead he listened as the Saiyan woman explained what Pin had already puzzled out - the people of this planet, Simians she called them, had taken to worshipping her as a goddess. She may not have intended to take over, but there was no greater coup than literally becoming god. Pin had to admit, he was impressed by the sheer dumb luck of it all.
As the woman took off, Pin waited for Habana to follow, and then followed closely behind. He sent a remote command to the Pixie Blue to pull up its landing gear and follow his position until a new landing pad could be located. While Pin himself didn't have any fear of creeping thorny plants or venomous creatures, he didn't want to have to clear a bunch of overgrowth from the Pixie when it was time to leave - especially if they'd be making a hasty getaway for one reason or another. It wasn't until the Pixie was following closely behind him that he powered down his shoulder cannon and returned it to its resting position.
He looked to Jala, and then to Habana as they travelled and this young Saiyan told them all about this planet. About the species that lived here, and the volcanoes that marked its surface. Pin discreetly opened a scouter net call to Habana directly.
"I don't know about you, Commander, but if what she's saying is true, the inhabitants of this planet could make for a valuable addition to the Empire's military, given the proper training and command. I'm especially interested in those Mammoth people she's mentioned. If they have any sort of latent transformative powers like the Saiyan race, or really any aptitude for combat at all, they could be walking siege engines."

| The Goddess of the Simians Habana conceded a shrug of acceptance as Brassica stated why she had given such an icy welcome, it was a rather fair reason on a world that appeared to be far behind many other planets in the universe, there were quite a lot of people who would see it as a prime target for exploitation, some might even consider the Empire or rather Habana's own new interest in the world just that though where others might seek to simply take and take from this world with no interest in rewarding it for what it might provide Habana fully intended to aid this world, presuming it could provide for the Empire and as well provided it became apart of the Empire.
Habana smirked as Brassica launched her blast not flinching at the near miss as it zipped past and vaporized a nearby plant, one that had been moving on it's own accord “Hm, good to know about the plants though I have a feeling they might have a tough time getting to me, my companions as well have there own ways of mitigating such risks. It's a shame however that such things pose such a substantial risk, do you posses a means to counteract the toxins?” Habana inquired, she felt reasonably certain that the Empire's healing tanks would be more than effective enough at fighting off the plants toxin's, perhaps the more basic ones would also require additional medical aid but the higher grade ones could regenerate whole limbs and resuscitate the nearly dead, a simply flower toxin would be easy enough.
“As for your comment on this world being one that can only be survived and not conquered. ANY world can be conquered with enough strength, will, and determination.” Habana said giving the girl a grin as she continued to follow the saiyan. She questioned them on how Earth's invasion had gone earning a raised eyebrow from Habana , the girl was more in-the-know than she had expected but her explanation did a good job of providing how she had known. “Depends on your perspective I suppose, the Empire was on a bit of a high after the Arcose War, it was perhaps one of the more decisive victories in a long time and one against an old enemy. Finding a proper enemy, one that can actually stand against the Empire gave us back our perspective on things, and what fun would it be if we didn't have a goal to work towards?” Habana grinned at the thought, she'd enjoy another shot at Earth's Guardian, her fight was cut frustratingly short in favor of ensuring Zucceta's survival.
“Though personally the war with Earth went quite well for me, I beat my opponent and held my own against Earth's Guardian until it became necessary to pull back. One day I'll return to finish that fight” Habana stated, a local creature arrived, a large ape-like species that quickly displayed intellect as it spoke to the girl, the last part of Brassica's statement made Habana curious 'things are going to be changing around here shortly' was the girl already interested in returning or did she expect something akin to an invasion? Habana grinned as the girl stated that the people believed her to be a literal goddess because of her Oozaru transformation, it made sense, while few Saiyans liked to speak of it the Oozaru form WAS very apeish and with the local species bearing a similar appearance it made sense that they might see an Oozaru as such.
Habana looked to Pin as Brassica mentioned the ship and went on to speak about the various other races and dangers of the world, receiving his message she grinned, it appeared she and Pin were of the same mind on this, the beings of this world could very well make for excellent additions to the Empire. With Brassica's admission that they were quite adaptive it would likely not be excessively difficult to bring them up to a level where they could be functional members of the Empire, it would certainly require some manpower and time but the Empire had a fair amount of both.
“Interesting, do the other races see you in the same light as the Simians? The Oozaru form likely would not have as profound an effect on them by itself but the power you would be wielding in that form would most certainly do an excellent job of it” Habana said with a chuckle followed by a sigh “Sadly I've never gotten the chance to experience that transformation, a run of bad luck in the gene pool made me incapable” Habanana admitted with a shrug, it was still a touch of a sore spot for her but now it was substantially easier to admit her inability to take on the form of an Oozaru as she possessed something far more potent in her arsenal. Jala would follow allong keeping an eye out for any more of the strange local fauna AND flora, she was rather surprised when Habana admitted her inability to transform, it was something that Jala herself would be FAR less willing to admit as unlike her daughter Jala lacked the ability to become a super saiyan. Her doctor's however were hopeful that down the road they might develop an upgrade to her cybernetics that would allow her to once again transform into an Oozaru.
Tapping her scouter Jala would open a scouter call to Pin “Keep an eye on the locals, if the girl thinks we intend to take the world from her by force she might attempt to signal them to prepare for an attack. I doubt they would be enough to cause us a problem but they might pose a danger to you're ship and our equipment. Habana seems to want things done peacefully so with luck precaution won't be necessary but I'd rather we remain vigilant.”

Brassica gave a soft chuckle. "Aye, there is a way to counter the toxins, if you're fast enough and know it at the time. The flowers themselves on those vines. Press them to the afflicted skin before you rub the itch, and it removes most of the thorns." she said before grimacing. "Most of them anyways. The toxin will still spread into you when you scratch from those it didn't get, but whilst it wouldn't cause death, it'll still be a messy week." explained the Saiyan.
When Habana spoke about how the wars went, the grand victory over Arcose, and then judging from the speech their utter defeat at the hands of Earth, the Saiyan Goddess paid attention. The fact that she'd held her own against Earth's Guardian confirmed her suspicions... there was no way she'd be able to take this woman on. Even if she were able to access the power of the moon, she still didn't have a grasp on controlling it yet... She shrugged as Habana explained she couldn't become an Oozaru. "I've never used it myself that often, except when it came to reinforcing certain points to the Predators. An Oozaru dropping on their heads tends to remind them who's in charge."
When the question came about concerning how the other races on this world viewed her, she gave a slight shrug. "They have more or less the same viewpoint, that I'm a deity made flesh. They're more bold with their moves during the new moon cycles, but keep a fair distance from the city during the nights of the full moon." said Brassica, pausing briefly in her flight as Ere'kus rumbled again in the distance. She frowned before shaking her head and continuing to fly towards the city. "Definitely not stretching..." she muttered to herself.
Soon though the city came into view, just as the moon's shadow allowed the suns light to slip past its darkness. Brassica shielded her eyes with her hand as she began to make her descent towards the central pyramid temple. The arena was filled with a large gathering of Simians, all ages and genders were assembled, and all of them looking at their new guests with curiosity. At the center of the arena was a large bonfire, and surrounding it were massive tables laden with food and drink. Brassica raised her arms. "My friends and family, it appears that we shall not be dining alone this day and night." she declared, moving to gesture towards the trio from the Empire. "We have been joined by Habana, a mighty warrior of my origins who has lost and won many battles against many foes, and her companions." she explained, the gathered peerage cheering at the news and bowing their heads towards them.
An older Simian walked up towards Brassica, a staff in one hand to act as his walking aid, and a bowl with a red liquid in another. Brassica bowed her head towards the elder as she accepted the bowl from him. She held it aloft. "By blood we are bound." she declared, drinking a mouthful of the liquid before accepting a lump of raw meat from the elder Simian who had been holding it in his tail. "By flesh we are joined." said Brassica, ripping into the meat. She held both aloft before then throwing both into the fire, a plume of smoke rising into the sky. "In heart we are one! Let the world quake and roar as we celebrate our lives and honour our departed!" she declared, the assembled throng of Simians all cheering before they began to eat and drink at the several dozen tables dotted around the place.
Brassica smiled at the sight and sounds of it all before regarding Habana and her cohorts. "Now then, let's eat. May not be as fine as what you're used to in the Empire, but my people can certainly provide enough for a Saiyan's appetite." she said with a smirk before leading them, if they followed, to a massive table by the fire, completely covered in food, and at its center was a massive octopus, freshly cooked. The Saiyan sat herself down on the stone tiled floor before ripping off a tentacle and taking bites out of it. "So then, why've you come personally? Would think the Commander would be sat back home coordinating this little hunt for wayward Saiyans." inquired Brassica between bites, washing down the octopus with a green coloured drink from a Namekian's skull.

Pin listened as Habana and this Saiyan woman discussed the Empire's current state, the war in Arcose, the invasion of Earth, and the wonders of the Oozaru transformation. Pin was surprised to hear Habana talk so freely of her disappointment in being unable to assume the Oozaru form. Somehow he had assumed that she wouldn't care, being a Super Saiyan and all. It was easy for Pin to forget that others had lived many years more than him before they met. Habana had probably struggled with her inability to transform by the light of the moon for her entire childhood and early adulthood.
He would never tell her, but he could relate. Being raised by Saiyan parents, being programmed to act and feel like a Saiyan, Pin had always hidden how much it stung when true Saiyans would take the Oozaru form. He'd never achieve it himself, and any approximation he DID achieve would just be a pale facsimile.
It was unlikely that he would ever be worshipped as a god.
They arrived at the temple, and Pin gave the Pixie a set of coordinates to land upon nearby. As he landed, so did the ship, and he followed the Saiyan woman as she joined her worshippers. They'd apparently arrived during some grand celebration, and there was one hell of a feast prepared. The young "goddess" introduced Habana as a warrior of her own origins, and Pin and Jala as her companions. Pin actually appreciated this gesture, as it would allow the Simians to assume that Pin and Jala were also warriors from the same divine origin as their goddess, rather than a mechanical effigy of that race. Pin always appreciated any opportunity to feel like a true Saiyan. The people bowed their heads. Pin grinned under his helmet. What manner of stories would they tell about him? Mysterious and masked, perhaps they'd fear him as the god of death, or perhaps they'd see him as a god of war.
Pin was shaken from his musings as the young Saiyan woman led a rather savage ritual of drinking blood and eating what looked to be raw flesh, the act of doing so binding her to her people, and thus binding her people together. She invited the three to eat, but Pin would remain standing beside Habana. He turned to Jala and nodded his head slightly, calmly, as he received her scouter message. Jala had the wisdom of experience, and it would be folly to disregard her advise, even if he didn't agree with it. In this case he DID agree, so it wasn't a difficult piece of wisdom to follow.
As Brassica tore into her food and mused that it would not be as "fine" as what Habana might be used to, Pin slowly scanned the room, cycling through the various spectra of light, letting his scouter assess each Simian that looked able-bodied enough to fight. He wouldn't be caught by surprise.
"She's come personally because this sort of thing requires a personal touch," Pin interjected. "If she'd just sent me, do you think we'd be sitting here having a conversation, or would we still be out in the wilderness pointing weapons at each other?"
Pin stopped scanning the room to look at Brassica directly.
"I'm Pin, by the way. Hunter Chaser First Order of the Saiyan Solar Empire and Personal Guard to Commander Habana," Pin completely made up a title for himself. He felt like he should have a title, hanging around the Commander as much as he did. He'd worry about whether it would stick later. "I figure this may be less confusing if we know each other's names."

| Something Witty! The trip into the simian temple was thankfully not a particularly long one, enough time for Brassica to take in what Habana has said and asked and provide her own responses, it was interesting to know that Brassica did not need the Oozaru transformation particularly often, but the fact that she remained unable to control the form certainly did a lot to explain it, an uncontrolled Oozaru was often just as big a threat to itself and its allies as it was to enemies. And the fact that the other species did in fact view her as a Goddess and yet remained willing to try preying upon her subjects if the need for the cities defenses was any indicator was curious it meant that either these creatures had a different view on just how dangerous there 'goddess' could be or that at least they understood that she was only truly an insurmountable threat during certain times of the year.
Entering the temple brought a grin to Habana's lips and just about did the same with the normally stoic Jala as both Saiyans took in the pleasant aroma's of food, Habana cast her gaze around the temple taking in the various simian's present but (to her) more importantly taking in the sight of the various foods, it was always wonderful to sample the dishes of foreign worlds and she expected this to be nothing less.
Before any sort of eating could occur however a ceremony needed to be preformed, Habana watched curiously as the young 'goddess' introduced them to her people to a resounding cheer from the collected Simians, then followed a very primal sort of ceremony, what Habana took from it however was more a curiosity over the meat involved, was it Simian or perhaps an enemy race? Or perhaps more simply a beast of some sort.
Habana's curiosity was put on hold as Brassica stated that the eating could begin, as the goddess suggested that the food might not be up to Habana's standards from the Empire Habana would already have taken several bites into the nearest thing that appeared to be meat, finding that it tasted quite similar to beef she continued to tear into it. “Heh not sure what sort of image you've got of how we eat in the Empire but it's not exactly about fancy eating, well I imagine there are some who prefer things a bit fancy and classy, some old elite families with there heads planted firmly in there own asses” Habana said casually nearly earning a groan from Jala who was presently doing her best to simply remain neutral disguising her frustration with food.
As Brassica questioned why Habana was the one to personally make the voyage to the planet Habana's was occupied finishing a large bite of yet-to-be-identified-meat allowing Pin to take the question, offering that it was the sort of mission that required a personal touch which actually did, when combined with his explanation of why sending just him would not have been ideal pretty much sum it up. He then proceeded to introduce himself with a number of made up titles that Brassica would likely be unable to identify as such unless Habana called him on it.
“If we're introducing ourselves I'm Captain Jala, I also serve as one of the Commander's advisers” Jala added glad to see that Pin was taking her suggested course of action seriously, considering his more armored appearance and claim to be Habana's personal guard it made sense for him to remain directly at her side while Jala took a seat among the others.
“You already know who I am, and yeah Pin summed it up pretty accurately, I wanted to make sure this got done my way, you're the first 'lost saiyan' that I've sought out since becoming Commander so I figured it only made sense that at the very least I can say that I did what I could to make this work. Maybe later I'll 'sit back home and coordinate' but sitting around isn't really my style, if I don't end up continuing to do this myself It'll probably be because I've got myself busy with training up some of our more prospective warriors.” Habana said with a shrug taking another bite of the mystery meat before taking a drink from the skull cup that upon further examination appeared to be that of if the high brow and a few of the other defining traits were an indicator, a konatsian. “You seem to get a decent amount of traffic around here, I suppose that explains you're strength, are we your first pleasant guests?”

Brassica raised an eyebrow when the metallic man did the explaining, complete with his name and a rather over the top title to top it off. Then the second female Saiyan introduced herself as well. "Have to wonder with a long title like that, if the males of the Empire have to compensate for something." smirked the Goddess as she took a mouthful of her drink as she continued to eat. She nodded as Habana expanded on Pin's explanation of the situation, swallowing down some of the meat before answering her question. "Yes and no." she answered, taking a bite of another lump of flesh.
"There've been about three other Saiyans that arrived recently..." said the Goddess as she paused in her eating to focus on recollecting the details. "First was a hybrid girl, not yet into her teens called Rabiko. No clue where she's wandered off to. Apparently had been sent to a bug world then got kicked off from there and crashed here." Brassica surmised with a shrug.
"Then there were two others, a female elite named Koko, who is currently recovering in the temple proper." she said, pointing towards the actual temple itself with a lump of meat on the bone. "Then there was the male... Pippar or something like that. Bit of a moron. When Ere'kus erupted, he wanted to fight it. He genuinely wanted to fight a volcanic eruption. No idea where he is either." she said with a shrug before resuming her meal.
Brassica glanced at the length of the shadow on the ground before nodding as it was just reaching the halfway mark, wiping her lips with her arm before regarding Habana. "Don't suppose I could borrow one of your people for the final part of this ceremony Commander, unless you want to take part yourself." she inquired, rolling her shoulders before she then began to float upwards, the Simians around them growing silent as they watched her. "We fight together, we sleep together, we live together, we die together. Just as day follows night and night follows day, we affirm our existence and our presence with our struggles and survival!" declared the Goddess, the Simians around them roaring in agreement.
She looked to the trio of newcomers. "I extend the honour to our visitors to bring about the dawning of this next age in our cycle." the Saiyan formally said before smirking. "If they think they can take me without fear of busting a gut." The Simian throng all hooted and cheered at that final statement, their tables swiftly getting cleared to the edges of the arena and the Simians themselves taking their positions in the surrounding seating, leaving just the newcomers and the table they'd been eating from in its place.

Pin ignored Brassica's little jab about compensating and listened carefully as the young Saiyan woman - who had not yet properly introduced herself, he noted - recalled the Saiyans that had visited this world before them. A hybrid girl, apparently missing. If this planet was as harsh as Brassica claimed, the girl was likely dead by now, unless she'd found a smaller civilization to worship her separately, but Pin decided that was unlikely. Then there was an elite Saiyan by the name of Koko who was recovering nearby. Pin wondered what this Koko might be recovering from - was it the local flora that had brought her low, or had it been their gracious host? Either way, Habana would likely want to retrieve this elite before they left. The last was a male, dumber than most, who had decided that he wanted to fight a volcano...Pin could only assume that this one had gotten himself killed, probably while fighting a volcano.
But then the woman rose from her seat, took to the air and delivered another grand, unifying speech. She had asked Habana if she could borrow him or Jala, and it was pretty clear what her intention was. There was some sort of ceremonial battle that needed to happen. Pin placed his hand on Habana's shoulder and leaned in towards her.
"I'll handle this, Commander."
He looked to Jala as he walked into the center of the sudden arena. He wouldn't wait for the approval of either of his companions, but he hoped that Jala understood that she would need to keep an eye out for any misconduct amongst the natives. Not that any of the natives were anywhere near strong enough to harm Habana, or even himself or Jala, though if they ganged up on him he might have a rough time of it.
He raised his arms, turned to the crowd, and removed his helmet.
"I'll help you ring in this new cycle. I've been waiting for a chance to test out a few tricks."
He turned to face Brassica, and once again his Shoulder Cannon slid from its housing and mounted in place. It began to generate that same hot orange glow as earlier, and he trained the barrel on the young Saiyan woman. He drew his blaster pistol, spinning it around his trigger finger idly with a casual ease as his Propulsors kicked on, raising him into the air until he was on her level, the barrel of the shoulder cannon keeping itself pointed at Brassica the whole way.
"I gotta say," Pin said quietly, such that only Brassica could hear him, "I'm looking forward to taking a seat in these peoples' pantheon."

Brassica nodded as it was the male who volunteered to aid in this part of the ceremony. It held a certain dichotomy to the whole affair. Day and night, life and death, male and female. As she prepared herself, she found herself rolling her eyes as he brought out that shoulder cannon once more and sighed. "I was hoping to avoid any energy attacks..." she muttered to herself before sighing once more and shrugging. "Oh well."
When he reached her height and spoke quietly, she had to chuckle a little. "Well, let's see how well you can fight." she began to say, one eye watching the path of the shadows on the ground, the other on that cannon that was pointing at her. Once it had reached past a certain marker, she sprung into action, trying to slam the bottom of her right palm into his jaw, whilst her left fist attempted to drive itself towards his cannon in an attempt to try and break the machine before it could become a threat.
Her legs during these attacks would try to wrap themselves around his waist before the Saiyan Goddess would try to flip them both one hundred and eighty degrees so they were upside down, and do so rapidly so that she could attempt to release him, and utilise the momentum to perform a sort of throw towards the ground.
Assuming her throwing attempt was successful, she would immediately follow it up with that same Ki attack that they had seen her use earlier in the jungle. Brassica charged the energy into a sphere on the palm of her hand before then thrusting it as a white beam of energy towards Pin, hoping to send him further into the ground. The Simians around the arena roared and cheered as the spectacle unfolded. It wasn't often that they got to see their Goddess use her powers to this extent.
