There was no doubt in his mind that Raisu was the most powerful opponent he had ever faced. The part he appreciated most is that this overwhelming opponent wasn't actually out to kill him like almost everyone before him.
Treylech glanced over his shoulder to see Raisu wasn't standing there anymore. His eyes caught a shadow and trailed up. They locked into Raisu far above where Treylech could reach.
"This fight is feeling more and more one sided. I'm happy I'm not fighting for my life."
He would need a solid strategy, but what? The dull throb still remained in his forehead from the headbutt not even moments ago as a distraction from his own thoughts.
'What can I do? He's stronger and has more abilities than I do. The only thing I can do is ring him out. There's no way I'll win by knockout.'
"Is this something I'm able to learn? Or are you showing off skills I'll never be able to use?"
Treylech had never fallen this far behind in a fight, and now he found out about of world he couldn't beat. It put a serious damper on his pride. He needed to be more than human now. Superhuman. A god among mortals.
He needed to be like Raisu.

So this is what it was like to be on the other side of this kind of fight. It almost reminded Raisu of his fight with Natto. The biggest difference being that Raisu had not led the invasion of Treylech's home. Then there was the fact that the two of them were just on different tiers all together. Treylech was much stronger than the average human, but the difference between them was glaring. Did Trey really have no control of his ki at all?
"Yeah, anyone can learn," said Raisu as he looked down on Trey from his spot in the air. In fact, thought Raisu, Trey would be the perfect candidate to learn these kinds of skills. He already was more than human. That was the hardest part right there, already surpassed. Raisu knew all about barriers that needed to be broken.
"I mean," began Raisu, "If you're really serious about it, I can teach you a few things. Or at least point you in the right direction."
It was the least he could do. It would almost irresponsible of him not to do that. Here was this powerful person who needed guidance and had none. Unguided power, as he was taught, was a recipe for disaster. Raisu would know. He'd caused his fair share of disasters as a kid.

Treylech saw it; his opportunity. This was his chance to better himself as a fighter. To become more than just some low powered fighter. He had his goal. 'I will be recognized as one of the strongest warriors.'
He nodded and turned completely toward Raisu. A helping hand would be appreciated for sure.
"Sure. That'd be pretty awesome. Now come down here so I can beat your face in," he said jokingly. He gestured with his hand.
He honestly knew he didn't stand a chance. He'd seen this much already. Honestly, he doubted even attempting to knock Raisu out of the ring would work well.
He steps over towards the edge of the ring and takes a fighting stance. He still had to try. He picked a fight so he wanted to finish.

Raisu nodded and floated down to the ring. He'd be glad to help Trey out; He seemed like a genuine enough person. And besides, Raisu figured that the more people capable of defending Earth, the better it would be in the long run. There was strength in numbers, and teamwork could take people a long way. Raisu grinned at Trey, a single eyebrow raised. This could be interesting, actually.
"Glad to hear it, but I have one last thing to show you..."
Raisu threw up his left hand and braced it at the elbow with his right, and aimed squarely at Trey. White light and energy crackled in his palm, ready to burst forward. It was his Starlight Beam, the centerpiece of his arsenal and his strongest attack. Of course, Raisu did not intend to hurt the guy, at least not badly. Just give him a bit of a sting, a taste of what ki attacks were like. Raisu figured he would have to learn sooner or later. But he'd take it easy on the guy. A benefit of ki control: he could do just that.
[Ki supression on and PL set to 10,000]
And so Raisu fired, the beam of energy careening towards Trey. Raisu briefly wondered how Trey would react, but he'd find out in a moment.
[N1] Starlight beam fired, with a potential PL of 3,300. No intent to cause any real harm, of course.

Light. Pure energy took shape in Raisu's palm and shot forward at high speeds towards Treylech. He hesitated for only a moment, but knew he had to remove himself from the path of whatever this bit of energy actually was.
He didn't ask himself where to go, he moved to the side and threw up his arms. The blast struck him, but only as it passed him by.
The energy, even surpressed, was far beyond Trelyech's current capabilities, and he lost his footing, falling backwards, and landing on his hind quarters.
He blinked. His forearms had taken the brunt of the hit and they burned horribly. Had he taken that hit directly, it would have been disastrous. While it wouldn't have killed him, he probably wouldn't be able to stand after.
He pushes himself to his feet, pain surging through his arms, dwarfing out whatever pain he had left from the headbutt he had dealt with earlier.
There was a massive shock and his arms gave out before he made it upright. He caught himself with his knees, dropping to a kneeling position.
His arms were almost useless. He got his feet back under himself and stood up solidly. "That was amazing. I'm lucky I reacted quick enough, although I'm not going to be able to do much with my arms now."
He wiped at his arms, trying to use a little bit of pressure to alleviate the pain. "Common sense is telling me to back down. I'm still standing and I'm way too stubborn to back down."
He readies his fists. He ignored the dizziness. The pain was taking its toll on him. He didn't have much option. "Alright mister superhero. Come and get me."

This guy had a warrior's spirit, a kindred spirit with Raisu. It made for a strong will and that was all well and good. But it also led to a stubborn way of being, as was evident by the fact that Trey was still going after burning his hands and arms. Someone was going to have to give. And while Raisu loved a fight and some primal part of him wanted to keep going, he had to be the responsible one. Even when he controlled his power, he caused more damage than he intended. That certainly dulled his bloodlust.
"Look, why don't we call this a draw. Your arms..."

Treylech swallowed his pride. While he still had the will to fight, he knew reason was to back down. He opens his mouth to say no, but hesitated.
He closed his mouth again. He knew he was going to lose, but did he have to lose consciousness as well. 'No. He's right...'
Treylech nodded and corrected his stance. "As much as I hate to admit it, you're right. I don't have it in me to continue."
He walked up to Raisu and offered his hand to shake. "I had fun. You've shown me quite a bit, and it's only just started. Thanks."

It was for the best, Raisu decided. Trey had a lot of spirit. It would do him a lot of good, and probably a lot of bad. Raisu knew that much. He knew that better than anybody.
Raisu took his hand and shook it, pumping it up and down with firmness. He respected Trey. Best to show it.
"Hey, thanks to you. It was fun. You handle yourself well..."
Raisu grinned at him.
"For someone who doesn't manipulate ki."
Raisu stepped back and look at Trey, not only with his eyes but also with his mind. He had potential. Raw potential. He just needed refinement.
"But I think you'll get that down in no time."

While he knew he didn't match up now, Treylech looked forward to a day where he could hold his own against Raisu.
While they hadn't actually known each other very long, Treylech considered Raisu a friend. He was starting to look forward to his future now.
"I don't have anything going on if you're up for that training. I need to become stronger if I want to protect people."
While he didn't have anyone major in his life other than Raisu, he still wanted to know that when those people came that he'd be able to keep them safe.
"That's up to you. I don't really have anyone to come home to."

Raisu nodded. Getting stronger to protect people? Now, that was something he could sympathize with indeed. Hell, wasn't that the reason behind everything he did lately? Protecting others? Or was there some other reason he was tearing his body apart every other day? Not one that he could think of.
"Yeah, man. We'll get some training in. You and me, we'll get stronger. Because this world could use a couple more protectors."
And it was true. Who knew when the next Saiyan invasion was going to come around, or the next murderous android was going to sieze control of the planet's military? It was a dangerous world and they were living in it. To not get stronger would be like actively deciding to put themselves at the mercy of the world, rather than trying to change it for the better.

What Raisu said intrigued Treylech. Protectors of the world? As in there were more than one? He still had a lot to learn.
It felt nerve-wracking knowing that he knew only one small part of life. What else was he missing out on? There were probably hundreds of different races.
He wanted to ask what Raisu was, but he didn't feel it was a necessity. Not at the moment. He wasn't out looking for a reason to be a human encyclopedia.
"Training together? You hardly need the practice." He wondered what pushed Raisu. What drove him to train. What he fought for.
There was so much Treylech had to learn.

Raisu laughed, a small laugh, and shook his head. If only Treylech knew. If only he knew about the kinds of people who would do the world harm, the kind of people Raisu had met. There were some monsters out there, monsters stronger than him. It was kind of scary, really. These kinds of people were what drove him, though.
"I need all the practice I can get. I've met people who can destroy the world without even trying. So, I gotta get strong enough to make 'em try."
Raisu thought that made sense, but maybe it didn't. Either way, Raisu knew what had to be done. He had to keep on getting stronger. It was the only thing he could do. He had to be strong enough to turn back the tides of whatever evil came about in this world. And he had a long way to go before he could do that.
"So, trust me when I say it'll be good for the both of us."

People that could destroy the world was once thing. The fact that there were people that didn't have to try was another entirely.
"Alright. Then where do we start? Well....never mind....The basics are kind of a necessity for me."
He had no idea how to do anything, so the basics were the only place to start. Raisu was now Trelyech's guide to this completely unique world. He couldn't wait to get started.
Fighting was the only thing he knew how to do. Now there was this reality that he was still learning and would be able to apply it for a cause.
How could he not be excited?

Raisu shrugged. There were so many thing that he considered basic. Raisu himself had started with the very basics of ki control: learning to suppress his power and sense the power of others. Those seemed like good starting points to Raisu, but there werre even more basic concepts, like the most basic of ki blasts. And besides, it wouldn't be hard to teach somebody like Trey how to do basic ki blasts. He seemed talented enough for it. In fact, that's where they should begin. It would do him some good.
"Okay, how does this sound: basic ki blasts. Nothing fancy, but they're good starting points? Sound good?"
Raisu looked at Trey expectantly.

Treylech assumed that Raisu was referring to a simplified version of that be of concentrated energy from earlier.
He thought about it for a moment before nodding in approval. "Yeah. Let's start with the easy stuff." He honestly had no clue on the best way to approach anything. This was all foreign territory to him.
'A different world...'
No. This was more than just some other world. Treylech had stumbled into an alternate reality. He had no idea how anything worked. This was a fantasy world where inhuman people roamed.
He may have been a mere human, but the possibility of being more was there. Not just strange, but unique. Not just better, but beyond any boundaries that most people could reach.
He was excited. He just couldn't wait to get started.
