Gonna be quick here. Threads in the afterlife should currently be a priority. We don't want poor Athren and co to be stuck in there during this grading period. Escape threads especially.

I agree with this, Mayze.

Everyone gets graded the same, sadly. No one else's threads are more important then anyone else's, as which was brought up with me when I gave someone else priority so they could join in on a site saga. Keep this in mind when you grade, Mayze. Edit: I'd like to note that you were the first person to chastise me for giving someone priority grading so they could do something. So yeah.

The only threads we prioritize are BPs. This is to keep anyone from feeling left out due to their thread being skipped in line and to also not boost anyone's ego because their thread was graded first.

Also since afterlife threads give you bonus experience it could lead to an exploitable way to power grind

Threads to Grade is no longer really a problem, as the turnaround is back down to a few days. It only ballooned to become one because of a confluence of issues, and because we felt like we were on the verge of creating a viable Tier system when we had more work to be done still.
T2G will always be FCFS because it's the most efficient way to be fair with everyone's time.

Keep this in mind when you grade, Mayze. Edit: I'd like to note that you were the first person to chastise me for giving someone priority grading so they could do something. So yeah. Yes, I am asking for Athren's sake, as you've(and I've) practically implied. He wanted me to ask, so I did. Regardless of that, I still personally felt that escape threads should have been prioritized differently so that one wouldn't be stuck in the AL if they made an escape thread. Waiting for days on end for the thread to be graded would be infuriating. Unless of course you're allowed to leave once you made the thread, I'm under the impression that you have to wait to be graded. Also, the difference between you and I is that I didn't do it, you did. I also made sure to ask. Plus I felt that this originally would be fair to all people making AL threads, especially escape threads.(But Nicolas changed my mind.) On the other hand, you did it for the sake of one person. While half of my intent was because of one person, the other half was because I realized that people might have to wait an annoying amount of time for their AL threads to be graded, so it could be a long time till they actually left. Trust me, if it were for the benefit of one only person, I never would've asked. Nice try on trying to make me seem like a hypocrite though. I actually didn't think of that, in fact I completely forgot about it. Thank you for reminding me, changed my mind on the matter.

Honestly I have to recognize that Nic made a pretty good point on the risk of abusing the priority. However I still believe that, at least escape threads should have some sort of priority, since it puts people back into role play and stuff.
Also... Mayze's point was valid and he suggested it in a polite way. I think it's wrong to try and point fingers at a person who just suggest something. This generates an unfriendly environment and it would be best to avoid it.

No. They are not getting priority. Period.

It is indeed a valid point. Escape threads could feasibly be given priority, but I'm sure there could be other ways.
Perhaps if you have enough Shoki to leave, you simply don't have to wait for the grade? I'm sure that'd crop up a few problems of its own, but it's something we could put thought into.

If they already have both items, they can just leave. It's like space travel without the wait. It doesn't have to be graded immediately. It's like, say, giving someone grades so they can quickly join a saga. It's not a valid point.
