The Yunzabit Highlands weren't exactly a vacation place, the weather was cold- awful to say the least. A strong wind blowing and a cloudy sky, but it was not desolated. Far away in the distance, something- or someone could be seen, flying while looking around the area. It was definitely a humanoid, though his hair was unusual, black as his eyes. Also, to be honest is his muscular build and what he was wearing wasn't a normal dress but a blue Dogi.
Perhaps he was wearing it because he was a fighter or just because he felt comfortable, but either way such an attire was not appropriate in the Yunzabit Highlands. The person was no Human, but a Saiyan- Cornatto or also known as Goizen. By a first look, he seemed strained as if he was flying for a long time. He decided to land shortly after, taking a seat on the ground. A disappointed expression on his face could be seen while he looked around. "How could a city ever be here?!" - exclaimed to himself, Cornatto was looking for a city and on his way he met a Human that gave him certain instructions to reach the nearest city.
Though, it seems like Cornatto didn't exactly understand what the Human told him, otherwise he wouldn't have ended up in that place. He has been looking for a city to find one of those "devices" to train faster and become stronger than any Saiyan- he wasn't exactly a patriot. "Wait, wait.. did the man say North or East?..-Dammit." - lifting a hand up on his forehead, shaking his head lightly as he realized his mistake. Cornatto didn't even know where he was flying. "Great.." - he muttered slightly, he didn't even know where to go now. He let out a sigh, placing a hand on his belly. "And I am as hungry as a bear.."

(Thread PL: 54,515)
Raisu flew northward, the cold mountain winds flying into his face. It felt as if his flesh were turning to ice with each passing moment. At least his body stayed warm: he was dressed for that kind of weather. If he had been smart, he would have brought some kind of facemask to shield his head from the cold, but the thought had slipped his mind. He had made his bed, and now he must lay in it.
Raisu, for all the traveling he had done in the past year or so, still had a lot to learn. If only there were some kind of vagabond’s handguide he could read. Hell, he thought, knowing people, there probably is one. Not that he’d seek it out. He took a certain joy in figuring things out for himself. Each day was a learning experience, at least. And that’s why he hit the road in the first place: to learn and grow as a person. And he had certainly grown since he left home: his power had increased almost tenfold and in such a short time. The Saiyan part of him took pride in that, knowing that he grew more powerful by the day.
The road was neither a cruel nor loving mistress. She was indifferent to Raisu’s plight at any moment, simply tossing obstacles and people at him with disregard. Such as the doctor, Breech. Thinking back on it, it was that encounter with Breech that had set him down the road he was on now. Before, he’d been content to keep his head low and just travel from village to village, town to town, seeing what the world had to offer. But Breech had rekindled that fire in him, that thrill seeking, fight loving fire Raisu thought he had doused in his adolescence. Old habits die hard, though. So, in some twisted way, he owed something to murderous doctor, sick bastard that he was. The path he’d set him down had been one full of adventures and chance encounters. And Raisu wouldn’t have it any other way. He’d have to repay Breech one day. Of course, the payment would come in the form of a fist.
But who, or what, would Raisu encounter next on the road? After all, he’d spun the wheel of fate by heading north, and now he only had to see where it landed. Hopefully, it lead to something interesting. He could do with something to occupy his mind these days.
And then he felt, just barely. A presence, something more than human. Someone who gave off more ki than the average person.
“This might be interesting,” whispered Raisu to himself and the wind.
Often those with large ki signatures proved to be the best source of entertainment or distraction. Perhaps there was something about warriors, some kind of enchantment that made the world slightly bend to make things a bit more interesting for them. It was a fanciful thought.
Raisu sped towards the signature like a bullet. And, interestingly enough, the signature was also flying. Another flyer, thought Raisu. Should be fun. As he sped forward, he spotted the source: a man in a blue dogi, with dark hair. Not dressed for the occasion, but warriors were hardy people.
“Hey!” Shouted Raisu over the winds.
Hopefully that got his attention. Or maybe Raisu’s presence would. Raisu wasn’t bothering to hide his ki this time. If that man could sense ki, he’d feel Raisu before he’d hear him.

Cornatto thought he could have tried to fly back to where he came from, but where did he come from? The Saiyan was pretty much confused, he was lost and didn't know how to find a city. In the meanwhile, Cornatto was shivering slightly and could feel all of the shiver on his back, the weather was terrible and Cornatto wasn't used to such an awful one. He realized that he could still attempt to fly around the entire planet but he was already somewhat tired and annoyed, also he didn't even know where to find this city he was looking for. Then, at last.. the Saiyan thought he could use this chance to train and become stronger, but there wasn't exactly that much to train with. Hit the ground several times wasn't exactly the best practice.. it would have been somewhat silly.
In the past, Cornatto used to train with his parents- sparring and such and running around the forest. Though, in that place there was only himself.. apparently. From far away while Raisu was flying closer to the other Saiyan, Cornatto didn't notice him at all. He didn't know how to sense Ki energy yet, but either way the Saiyan decided to stand up and look around while walking slowly in the surroundings. "So.. East, Wes-..No wait." - he muttered slightly while he tried to find which direction he came from, although his geographical knowledge has always been more or less approximate to nothing. "I guess flying around the entire planet is the only way to find a city.." - Cornatto exhaled sharply in resignation, looks like he had no other choice. He didn't really remember where he came from and not even the instructions given by the Human he met on the way to find a city.
But, something caught up his attention, he literally jumped up on the place as he heard a voice from afar. He glanced upwards, looking at the figure carefully as he attempted to figure out his identity. Slight fear following shortly after as he noticed a "trait" of the young man: a tail. Or at least he thought it was a tail. Cornatto was alarmed, he didn't expect to meet another Saiyan in such a place- he disliked his own species for personal reasons but his pride has always been a part of himself, so he let out a sigh as he attempted to calm down. Shortly after, he decided to extend a hand towards the other Saiyan and gesture him to descend. "Who are you?" - he asked while looking at the Saiyan carefully.

The man motioned for Raisu to come down. At least he had not opened by attacking Raisu, which was usually a good sign. Then again, the most dangerous folks usually didn’t either. Like Breech and BREU. They’d played him for a fool, then attacked. Funny how that worked. Perhaps Raisu would be smart to continue to be way of the man below him. Not that he thought he was a thread; The man’s ki signature was downright small compared to Raisu’s own.
Don’t be ignorant, he told himself. Raisu knew well enough that people’s true power could be hidden. He often did it himself. And then there were the likes of the Arcosians, folks who had layers of power beyond what they had revealed. He should know that much. He’d met one recently. Fought alongside aside it, too. Boy, had that been quite a surprise when the alien had undergone a massive change. The horns had been the most shocking part. Quite literally, too, as the Arcosian had used them to stab an android through the chest. The point being: appearances are deceiving.
Raisu descended towards the man. He’d asked his name. A good start. Better than ‘Leave me alone’ or ‘Frickin’ Saiyan, go home’. It was actually rather cordial, compared to what could have been.
“My name is Raisu,” he answered, looking at the man. Raisu looked at the man, trying to figure him out as he did. Like his race. Was he human? Hard to tell these days. Every alien and their mother looked human these days. Or rather, was he an Earthling was the better question.
“What’s your name?”
He asked the man. It would be rude not to. Especially after raisu had just been asked the same question.

The Saiyan had his stare on him, in case Raisu would have attempted anything that could be considered 'weird', even if he didn't seem to have bad intentions. But anyway, Cornatto didn't even know how strong he was- not much do without a Scouter or the ability to sense Ki energy. But he knew he should have been careful, after all last time he underestimated a fighter.. he was about to die. By his appearance, he didn't seem to be older than Cornatto even if something caught his attention. Raisu's hair didn't really make him look like a Saiyan even if he had a tail. Perhaps a hybrid? Cornatto kept looking at the young man for a short time before offering a nod, also Raisu didn't really sound like a Saiyan name- so probably his origins weren't on Vegeta or at least that's what Cornatto thought. But everything was possible and Cornatto was no fortune-teller. Cornatto has never introduced himself by his real Saiyan name, his only experience with other Saiyans was one and not positive at all.
He expected that question coming from a stranger, for obvious reasons. After all, he asked such question a few moments ago. "I am Goizen.. didn't expect to meet someone like you around here." - he said quietly with a blank expression on his face.

"Goizen, eh? Nice to meet you. And yeah, I didn't expect to meet someone like you out here. I felt your ki signature, so I came by to check things out. It's a bit bigger than the average persons, you know, and I was kind curious. Given everything that's been going on recently."
Interesting name, Goizen. Was that an Earth name? Hard to tell these days. Every where he looked, there were more and more aliens. Not that it bothered him. Quite the opposite in-fact. Meeting new folks made worth life living. Variety is the spice of life and all that jazz. It made for good times, meeting folks from new cultures and all. So, where did Goizen come from? Raisu was half-tempted to ask. But he let it go for now. No need to ask questions like that when they just met.
Raisu extended his hand for a handshake. Whethere Goizen returned the courtesy or not was up to him.
"So, what brings you out here?"

Someone like you out here? Cornatto, or also known as Goizen.. kept wondering about what he meant. He didn't believe that he understood that he was Saiyan, maybe he didn't expect to meet a Human in such a place. Though, what intrigued him was what he meant by Ki signature. Even if it didn't take a while for him to realize, that he probably meant his Ki energy. How he could do that, he had no idea. Cornatto thought that it would have been something very useful to learn in the near future.
"Everything that's been going on recently? What are you talking about?" - Goizen asked with a curious tone, the Saiyan has always been isolated from the rest of the entire planet. So he couldn't know about anything that happened or still going on. Also, he was wondering between the differences of a hybrid and a pure-blooded Saiyan, he definitely had a tail. But then? His hair colour didn't also match, but if there were other differences- it was definitely sure that Goizen didn't know any.
He stared blankly at his extended hand for a short time, he didn't really know what Raisu was asking for- not immediately at least. A few moments later he realized the gesture, he decided to also extend his hand and accept Raisu's. Returning the courtesy given by the hybrid. "What brings me out here?..-Exploration." - he told him hesitantly, because he wasn't really exploring- he lost himself while looking for a city.

Did Goizen not know of the recent going ons? Hard to believe that, but some people did live under rocks. Quite literally, in fact. Perhaps he was from a remote part of the world, far away from the conflict. Must be nice, thought Raisu. To be able to avoid all that. Not that he was the type to run away from problems. Or perhaps he was, depending on who you asked.
"The Solar Saiyan Empire invaded, man. Didn't you feel all those massive ki signatures? Or see the Saiya queen's broadcast? It's crazy."
He looked at the man with raised eyebrows.
"Eh, not that it matters. I think the defenders of Earth got it covered."
But the man said something else as he shook his hand: he was an explorer. Perfect, thought Raisu. Something he can relate to. This was the kind of thing he always hoped for: meeting fellow wanderers by chance.
"Oh, really? Cool, me too. Where you headed?"

The Saiyan was looking at him with a confused expression on his face as he noticed Raisu's reaction to the question. He didn't really understand why the Hybrid should have been so surprised. It seemed like as if he missed the discovery of something really important, but probably it was a similar case. Goizen understood all of it as soon as the Hybrid spoke, the Solar Saiyan Empire.. he heard it already in the past. Even if his homeworld was not Planet Vegeta, the Saiyan knew much about his own species and the planet thanks to his parents. But what he knew is that they were nothing good, especially since they were invading a planet like Earth. They were exactly the Saiyans that Goizen had disgusted since his childhood and pretty much such Saiyans were his reason to train in order to have revenge, his family's pride was nothing but dust after being kicked off from Vegeta.
He could feel rage building up but fading away after a short time. "Dammit.. I-.." - he muttered lightly, at that point he was tempted to fly away and look for them- not to protect the planet, but for his own reasons. But he knew he would just fail and eventually die.. even if he was stronger than a normal person, it was not enough. It was frustating but he could just deal with it.
"Defenders of Earth? What can a few human weaklings do against Saiyan warriors?" - he said in contempt, even if after all not all Humans were weak- last time one of them was about to kill him. But, suppose if they could handle it.. better than nothing. "And.. I don't really know what you mean by broadcast. Anyway, I was looking for a city in order to find something to assist with my training." - he told him with a composed tone of voice, he already let go of the pressure into himself.

The man looked angry. Had he hit a sore spot? Probably. Everyone seemed sensitive to the Saiyan Invasion these days. He couldn't blame them. Home invasion was rarely something people could enjoy. But something about his comment on Earthlings irked him. Perhaps it was the human blood in his veins taking offense. Or perhaps it was that Earthling pride, gained from having grown up on Earth. And he didn't even catch the broadcast. Had this guy slept through the whole thing?
"I wouldn't count Earth out yet, man. A whole lot of people are here to protect it."
But then he mentioned training, something that caught Raisu's attention. He liked training. He liked it very much so. But was he needing?
"Oh, what are you looking for?" Asked Raisu, curious. Perhaps he could even help the man. A good deed a day, he told himself. That was something else he tried to live by. Especially in trying times like these. In the wake of the Saiyan invasion, everyone could use a little help.

Goizen was still shaken by the recent news of such Saiyans being on the planet, but he decided to let that matter go for now. He was actually surprised that he didn't know anything about it, since when all of this has begun? He definitely missed the Queen's broadcast and didn't really hear about it around, or perhaps he couldn't remember? Eithe way, he thought that Raisu could actually help him- not like he had other options after all. Either find a city or village by himself where there would be a shop or ask Raisu to give him directions. The latter one was definitely the best option between the two, at least there weren't risks to get lost.. again.
He looked at Raisu before offering a nod, crossing his arms shortly after. "Something that can possibly help me with training, I know there is some weird tech stuff they sell. I'm also aware about weights and such. I was looking for a city to see if I can afford weights or other stuff like that, but I believe there are no shops here.." - he told him, the latter statement with a sarcastic tone of voice.

There was a hint of sarcasm in the man's voice. But Raisu understood him. Always had to get stronger. Raisu used weights himself. Not that he was wearing them now. Everyone had to take a break every once in a while. It was nice to fly without those massive weights around his wrists and ankles. They'd started to ache a bit, and he was worried he might damage his joints beyond repair if he didn't give his body some rest.
"Training, eh? I can understand that. Good luck finding what you're looking for," said Raisu. He looked at the man through squinted eyes. What else didn't the man know? Was he even aware what had happened to the North Capitol?
"But, uh, buddy," he began, "You do that the biggest city out this way is rubble, yeah?"
There could be more cities around here, but none that Raisu knew of.

Goizen offered a nod to his comment, it seemed like Raisu could understand how important it was to train, he was definitely a fighter even if Goizen couldn't really know how strong he truly was. Strength was one of the most important things to the Saiyan, it was more important than anything else to him to be honest. And obviously, there is one obvious way to increase a person's strength- through training. Training wasn't just an obligation to him but a hobby to spend his free time- or most of it! Though, not like he could train for an entire day. Even if the more he trained, more he could sustain.
He looked at him curiously, he didn't understand why of Raisu's glance. Did he say something wrong? Not exactly, but he knew little- and pretty much nothing about what happened recently. "Wha-.. Wait, the Saiyan invasion.. right?" - he asked before letting out a sigh. The invasion was his first guess, but he couldn't know what was the exact reason. "..Great, anyway.. just wanted to ask. You're not a full-blooded Saiyan, am I right?"

"Nah, the North Capitol had been wrecked for a while," confirmed Raisu. It had been long before the Saiyans had even thought to invade Earth unfortunately. Raisu briefly wondered if the Capitol might ever be rebuilt one day. A shame to let it languish as ruins. Still, it surprised him how little the man knew. But the world was ever changing. Perhaps it wasn't as obvious as Raisu thought.
The man commented on Raisu's heritage. Was Raisu a full-blooded Saiyan? These days, such questions usually came with harsh glaces or judgement. Or if the questioner was feeling lucky: a sucker punch. That usually didn't work out for those who tried it. The people dumb enough to try were often the people who could be the least to him. In his live, how many times had he surprised normal people by shrugging off punches and the like? While he hadn't been keeping count, Raisu knew the number of times was plenty.
"Nope, my father was a Saiyan. My mom's the Earthling, and honestly, I think I take more after her in most cases," he explained. He was having to do this a lot lately. But why did Goizen care? I mean, Raisu supposed he might be scared of the half-Saiyan in the wake of a Saiyan invasion. Most people usually were.

"Ah.. alright." - he said before looking around briefly. Even if Goizen has been living on that planet for years, he didn't actually know anything about its inhabitants and civilization. He thought that he should have tried to explore and learn more about the Earthlings and so on. Even if, to be honest he didn't care that much about it.
Goizen realized that it wasn't really polite to ask such a question, but not even like being a hybrid or anything else would have been a difference. The Saiyan thought that he wasn't part of the Solar Saiyan Empire, or at least he didn't seem so. Since Raisu thought he was an Earthling, Goizen's guess was that he would have tried to kill him- but no, it didn't seem to be his goal.
"I see that.." - he told him as answer to Raisu's statement regarding his dominant side, looking at the Hybrid's hair briefly before offering a nod. "Just curiosity, that's all. -So.. are you any good with fighting? Or anything else you would like to do?" - he asked, he didn't really know what to talk about, so he decided to go for a direct approach.
