"Hurry! We have to get this thing up and running!" cried out a man dressed in a long white cloak, the world around shaking and shifting. The world was burning and breaking around him... is this what it is to be born? Flashing lights of crimson danced around the roof of the world he'd become aware of. Oh yes, he was aware... had been for some time now. He just was not born yet. No no, not born yet, but vaguely aware.
These people were his creators, and the thing that he'd been created for had come to them... something... what was it? Bubbles formed inside the large green tube that contained his form. He could feel the stimulants being fed through the waters and into his body, much like how a baby is fed in the womb by their mother's umbilical cord. "The damn apes won't be waiting around! Hurry up and get that input code inserted already!" the man ordered, his face covered in sweat as the other men and women dressed like him ran around the world. Apes... yes, he recalled something about apes... humans were apes, or related to them... was that what he'd been created to fight? Apes? Or was it humans? If the latter... why was the Man In White calling them apes?
"I can't find it sir!" called out one of the Women In White, earning them a shriek from the Man In White. "What do you mean you can't find it?! We can't set this thing loose without putting in the code! If we did thargh!" he cried out, a smoking hole appearing in his chest as someone entered the world. Someone from beyond the world? One of the apes he mentioned? wondered the creature in the tube as he watched the scene unfold in front of him. A couple of people entered the world, each of them looked like the Men and Women In White... except they didn't wear the long white robes, and they had another feature to them.
They were all sporting tails.
The creature's tube made more bubbles as the realisation hit him. The Man In White had been referring to these people when he'd said apes... but apes was erroneous... apes didn't have tails, whilst these people clearly had them. "What do we have here huh? More pathetic humans trying to hide behind something instead of fighting themselves?" asked one of the Tailed Humans. No... that term wasn't right... they were called something else... but what was it? One of them came over and tapped the glass, causing the vibrations to ripple through the water, making him cringe at the enhanced sounds carried through. "Heh, just another piece of weak trash no doubt. I'll handle this. You mop this lot up and then we can get down to trying to find a decent fight." said the Tapping Tailed Human as she pointed her hand at the glass.
He could... feel something building up in that hand of hers. What was it? The same thing that had killed the Man In White earlier? "No! Don't! You'll kill us all!" cried out another of the Men In White before they had their head blown off. "That's what we're going to do to you lot anyway!" laughed the Tailed Human that had first spoke, his companion chuckling as she fired at his glass. For the first time in his existence, he felt gravity as he fell to the floor, curled up in a ball, the liquid that had been his home sloshing around him, glass cutting into his flesh.
Pain... this was pain... he thought to himself as the woman pointed her hand at him once more. "Time to die freak." she said before blinking at a sudden crunching sound, the creature blinking as well. Both their eyes followed the same path to find that he had lodged his tail into her chest through her armour. The creature stood up, tilting his head to the right as he looked at the scene. "...Curious... I thought it would be harder." he said before pulling his tail out from her chest, blood gushing out from the wound as she fell backwards. "What the hell?! Die you bastard!" roared the Tailed Human as he fired a shot towards him. "Azure Rifle." said the creature as he hurled his own blast from his hand towards the Tailed One's, the blasts colliding and exploding. "W-What the..." stammered the Tailed One before the creature had his hand around his throat.
"What are you called?" the creature asked. "I know, but at the same time I do not know... it is confusing... and annoying." he said, the Tailed One trying to break free. "Gah! Let go of me you freak! I am a Saiyan warrior!" he roared, before falling limp as his neck was crushed. "Saiyan... thank you." the creature said as he dropped the corpse. He turned his attention to the White Ones as they cowered in the corner. "...Is this not why I was created? To fight these Saiyans?" he asked of them as he strode towards them, his tail waving behind him. As he drew closer, they sought the wall for some reason, each of them looking on in fear at him.
"Or are these not my enemies?" he asked, genuinely curious as to the purpose of his existence now. So many questions, and not many were forthcoming with answers. He saw a clipboard with sheets of paper on it, and picked it up, reading the contents. "Ah. So I can gain knowledge and power through my tail... most useful. Then I shall not be requiring any of you to answer my questions." he said, his tail coming forward, the tip opening wide until it was like an umbrella... an umbrella with a human sized hule in the centre of it. The White Ones all screamed as he approached them, his tail swiftly enclosing around one of them, consuming them.
He tilted his head as the person he was consuming struggled as they were slowly dragged inside of himself. "Interesting... that sensation... it was most... enjoyable." he said slowly as he sought the correct words for what he had just experienced. As the Man In White... no... scientist, yes that's what they were called. The information was coming to him slowly but surely, and oh so much of it from just one of these scientists... But to resume this train of thought, as the scientist had struggled in vain to stop himself from being absorbed into him, he had found the wriggling sensations to be quite enjoyable. Not in the sense of physical pleasure no, but more... emotionally so.
"You monster!" shrieked one of the female scientists. He looked to her and tilted his head in confusion. "Monster? I am simply doing what you created me to do. In order for me to grow and learn, I must absorb... that is my function... so, you should feel glad for this chance. You will all become a part of me now." he said, absorbing each and every one of the scientists one by one until all of them, four in total, were a part of him. Their sum total knowledge and relative power levels became a part of him slowly, and he considered what he had and was still learning.
"I was created to fight the Saiyans, as a weapon for the humans. And they created a code to ensure my loyalty to their Council." he surmised, finding himself scoffing. "Foolish. Loyalty to a government body such as that... it's-" he said before his chest exploded outwards and he collapsed. "Well, that's twenty years down the toilet." came a new voice, this one coming from a soldier that had arrived. One of the Council's soldiers... he had a device in his hand. A small black box... Of course... the failsafes... they had installed failsafes into my genetic structure to ensure my obedience... the creature thought to himself, slowly chuckling. The soldier blinked at the sound before raising his gun at the thing.
"What the hell?!" he cried as the creature stood up, the hole in his chest slowly filling back up with bone, organs, muscle tissue, and then finally flesh. "Did you forget, or simply not told what they used to create me?" asked the creature. "I have Namekian DNA coursing through me, meaning that I can regenerate any damage inflicted to me... strange that they did not consider that to be a factor with the failsafes..." he mused before looking to his tail. "Or perhaps its accelerated at the moment since I just recently fed..." the creature said, the soldier drawing their weapon and opening fire. The creature rushed forward and punched his hand straight through their gut and out their back, the man's spine in hand. "I also have Saiyan DNA in me... and that failsafe put me in a near death state... thank you for that." he said before dropping the corpse.
He looked around the science lab, a place he had just a few short minutes ago considered to be the whole world. How naive of him. But now the question stood about what he was going to do... he had been programmed to fight the Saiyan Empire, but as it stood right now, that would be illogical. If the Empire was attacking Earth, then they were doing so in force, and given that the humans clearly did not trust him to act on his programming without their little tricks, he was seeing no reason as to why he should help their pathetic race. He looked to the corpses of the two Saiyans, kneeling down to inspect them. "Interesting... you are part of me, and yet died so easily... a shame that the dead offer no use to me." he said, standing up and heading for the door.
He stopped as he read the sign at the top, finding himself chuckling, his tail smacking the floor as he laughed. "Project Z-J 25051991. That's what they called me." he said, looking at his hands and tail, and then the protrubances coming from his shoulders. "Z-J... Saiyans... There was another term for their species..." he mused before snapping his fingers. "Saiyajin. That's what they're also known as." he said before blinking as he felt a sharp pain in his head. He spun around to see another of the Saiyan's standing next to the console the lead scientist had been at before the attack began. "A fine piece of work you are." they said as they came towards him. "Be a shame for the humans to let it go to waste... you now serve the Empress Zucceta, understood?" The Bio-Android realised immediately what had been done to him. "The final input code." he said, the Saiyan patting his shoulder. "That's right. Wasn't too hard to alter the human's coding. So, what's your next move? Going to kill me too?" he asked stepping out into the world above, leaving his back exposed.
The Bio-Android considered it, his programming going over the nuances of the Final Code, before shrugging. It didn't prohibit him from ending this Saiyan's life if he so chose, as he was not the Empress. "I was growing bored of humanity anyway. Far too many secrets and lies and hidden facts. If I'm to serve anyone, it might as well be the person who's winning." he said, following them into the world of of fire and death that he had been born into. "Got a name?" asked the Saiyan. He pondered on the situation for a moment, looking back to the Project title on the wall, a smirk crossing his face as he came to a rather ironic decision. "Zyajin... you can call me Zyajin." said the Bio-Android.
These people were his creators, and the thing that he'd been created for had come to them... something... what was it? Bubbles formed inside the large green tube that contained his form.
