Zucceta barks out laughter at Virtual Poi's anecdote. "Never in a million years will I deliver pizzas, especially with you!" She stares his gathering energy in the face, unflinchingly, even though she could feel its strength in comparison to her own.
Lady Death's entire ideology revolved around the precepts of social darwinism; might makes right, and the strong survive. To accept the restrictions of those who would crumble at the wave of her hand... no, never. Lady Death could never accept that. Respect had to be earned, and those who did not put in the effort to get it were simply cattle, to be destroyed, to be traded in. That was the separation of a warrior's soul from the average soul, and that separation was everything. There was no beauty to creation, after all--creation had been stolen from her by her own life's circumstance.
No beauty to it at all... and yet hung, tantalizingly, the Earth in space, and in her mind.
Her eyes widen as she feels the surge of power behind her. Swivelling around, she sees him; an Oozaru outside of her knowledge, not clad in the armour of her men, preparing to attack the very object that gave them both the ability to compete with Earth's defenders. Her mouth rises into the snarl of desperation, her first outward sign that she was close to defeat, but she outright REFUSED to go down without a fight. Her snarling aura breaking, Vi's bursting through her golden maelstrom, she pushes one hand towards the android and then the other towards Pieter, to stop the continued assault of the construct which gave her the ability to match her intended foe, and perhaps as some sort of karmic retribution towards the boy-prince whom very nearly lost his life.
This was unacceptable.
This was inevitable.
Taking a moment, she accepts the end, but she'd be damned not to take this saiyan traitor with her. "SCATTER, WARHEADS!"
Two impressive golden waves surge forth, one from each hand, one for Virtual Poi, one for Pieter Wolfbane. The one aimed at Pieter is intended to puncture through the Oozaru's chest; the one at Vi-Poi to distract him long enough to prevent an intervention on the rogue Oozaru's behalf. The sky roars with the strain of the energies present, the city churns smoke, several dead or unconscious Oozaru litter the streets following the Earths retaliation, and soon, within the hour, the day would be done.

It didn't break, and the Oozaru quickly capitalized on the Hunter. All the hunter could think about was the foolishness behind everyone's minds... How they felt it was necessary to spare those who would dare attack their homes, even if it was only the planet that they weren't from. The blade from the mother dug into Pieter' right kidney, with the assault from Zucceta digging into his chest. How foolish was he, in the end, to hope that his allies would have fought smart! He should have known, from when they tried to plan at the lookout!
His body went limp, shrinking to his humanoid form, as he careened to the ground below. He collapsed into a crater below, and, as he felt the life blood quickly drain from him, all he could think of was the foolishness that these people that he fought along with dared to only battle their foes for the sake of battle... It seemed everyone had fallen to a plague of Battle Lust..!
(Pieter is no more! With no KP to remotely block one of the two attacks, the hunter is immediately slain. I'll be taking Power Level with this saga done with.)

A group of tense soldiers and airmen stood around the wallscreen as the great Battle of North Metro unfolded before them in a lurid high-definition glow. Primeval woops were made as the scout probe cameras showed Captain Liang, now sporting a third eye, tearing through squads of enemy Oozaru with the honed skill of a master in Tiger-style fighting. Cipher 24 wreaked havoc of his own, taking on waves of great apes despite his missing arm. It was emblematic of the world’s struggle.
A global graph of the war scene was sequestered on the eastern side of the wall. It depicted BBA divisions, many of them shattered and beaten, regrouping and inexorably coalescing northward. The fighting men and women of Earth, armed only with the gadgetry that their despair of extinction and great intellects had forged, died in legion against these rampaging monsters of war. And though millions died in the initial shock, the spirit of Earth persevered, and continued a dogged resistance.
The Volunteer Army was destroyed. There would be no reconstituting it after the damage wrought against it, as nearly every part of it was torn to bits by coordinated Saiyan attacks. But in its tremendous death throes, it was at its finest. Entire divisions fell in grim attacks on Oozaru, only to be replaced by another, and another still. At seeing their military so outmatched, civilians joined the fighting en masse, firing at the giants from under cover of the labyrinthine sewers of ruined cities. There would be no tales of cowardice told on Vegeta among the veterans of this Earth War.
It was enough to make General Chartreuse grin around his smoldering cigar with pride. Even with the rebuilt and improved Administrator’s help, they had a good chance of losing. But it would be no cakewalk for the aliens.
“Sir! An Oozaru approaches, sir!” A radar technician announced, dialing on the Long-Range Scouter.
General Chartreuse hmphed. “Even here?” His cold blue eyes shined as he blew out a ring of thick grey smoke. They were miles from anything and deep underground. The Vegetan high command must have sharp intelligence on Blue Banner, and the small guard they’d had were already deployed to assist South City. “Ready my Battle Jacket.”
“Sir!” His personal attendant agreed, saluting crisply before rushing to make the orders.
Chartreuse strode swiftly to his desk. “Vermilion, you’re in charge of the fight until I’m back.”
“Sir, yes sir! It’s been an honor, sir.” Vermilion said, hand raised on his brow in a slow salute.
Chartreuse nodded as he opened his drawer and took out a heavy key, the words Old Gal written across its fat brass head it in permanent marker. They both knew this was a one-way trip. He was the best Jacket pilot in the facility though. He’d buy operational command and control the most time.
The rest of the staff had turned from the wallscreen, watching him with quiet and somber eyes.
Taking the key, Chartreuse left, riding the long elevator down to the hangar.
Old Gal was parked under the near empty Jacket hanger, and though she was indeed old, she wasn’t any gal in terms of shape. She bristled with old double-ought fission pistons, powering oversized and clunky fists. Two proton throwers on her wrists finished her short and sweet close-range ensemble, and ki-tip missiles bristled on her long and antlered shoulders. No one would call her pretty, but she was his Old Gal. They’d seen the world together, when Chartreuse was a young man.
His flight suit snapped on quickly with the assistance of a helper drone, which also quickly ferried him up into the cockpit. Back in his day, pilots had to climb a ladder.
“This is Blue Banner Three, requesting clearance for departure.” Chartreuse radioed as the bulky Battle Jacket’s main reactor chugged to life. A waft of green smoke spat from an exposed pipe on the Jacket’s torso, and emergency lights flared in his cockpit along with leak warning horns.
“Clearance granted. Err, Bee-Bee-Three, you’re leaking coolant.”
“She always does that.” Chartreuse muttered, punching the throttle forward and flipping off the warning indicators. The poisonous steam eventually faded.
The hanger doors opened, revealing the shimmering white sky. Chartreuse slowly stepped out. A dark dot hung against the sky. He fixed his Battle Jacket’s systems upon it, then pulled out his favorite Pepper Town cigar, lighting it up off the red-hot interplanetary antenna that glowed cherry against the metal side of the cockpit. They just didn’t make em like this anymore. “Well Old Gal.” He said, activating his weapons and fast-mobile hydraulics and breathing in the cigar’s sultry cloud deeply until it stung so good. “Let’s have one last dance.”
Vi-Poi stretched his mind out, encapsulating the globe of his Mega Nega Bomb in all of his thoughts, willing it forward with a great heave of ki just as Zucceta’s Warhead barrage shot out from her palms. He closed his eyes and swung his arm down and outward as he did so, feeling the world with his ki and not his eyes, reaching out with widespread fingers. He let those emotions unbound by his circuitry fill the Bomb as it swung down towards Zucceta filling it with as much positivity as his robotic could muster. The sphere’s edge bowed inward against Zucceta’s attack, but then the Queen’s strike broke into a thousand scattering shards.
The MegaBomb raced towards the Golden Oozaru, just as Pieter’s tomahawk lashed against her Moonball.
Vi-Poi could feel Zucceta’s energy as the humungous orb dwarfed and eclipsed her great ape form. It was filled with hate and hurt. He fought against that ki with Poi’s own joyous childhood memories, and the world would shake when the two crashed.
(General Chartreuse goes off to meet his maker.)
(Vi fires his 200% Mega Negative Bomb intercepting the warhead aimed at him for 5.280 mil, leaving behind 8,285,858 PL heading Zucceta's way, intending to sap her fighting ability and KO/defeat)

Kaula sighed, getting ready to head out. Only to see her mother surge forward! "Ffff-" Kaula moved to turn around, gripping her side as she heard her mother roar out, "MOM! NO! STOP!" she shouted out as she glanced to the side, seeing the queen charging up some.. Attack. With a deep breath, Kaula closed her eyes before she started to shake her head a little bit. "Damn it mom.." the young, battered super saiyaness growled out before rushing towards both her and Pieter! She felt a sudden surge of power as she came near her mother. It was Zucceta! She was unleashing her attack! Towards pieter, and near her mother! Kaula had to do something! She reached out, her hand either trying to get a grip on the Oozaru's armor. Or get a handful of that monkey fur, before she turned around to try to plant her back against her mother's with a growl. She reached back with both hands, getting a nice bunch of fur before LEAPING forward, raising her legs up as she did to try to force the both of them forward! Kaula soon let go to flip through the air, flying to get above her mother before she moved to simply fly down, aiming to slam her knee down into her mother's chest to slam her into the ground and away from the blast. [Used N1 Kaula Knock Out for 1,060,012 PL with the intent of possibly knocking her mother out) Sure, Kaula felt bad that she couldn't save the other warrior. But, you know, family comes first! She wasn't going to let her mother die like that. She soon turned to glare at her mother, "YOU!" she shouted out as she growled. "Ya don't ignore me, mom! Ya got that!?" she roared out, Kaula was.. Well.. Clearly furious! "You're gonna get yourself fuckin' more hurt then I got me hurt! Now ya ready to leave!?"

Radasha felt her blade cut into the other Oozaru. Snarling she glared at the warrior as her ki blade dissipated. Pulling back her arm, she readied herself to continue. "Maybe you should've focused on the threat in front of you instead..." she said. "You left yourself op-"
She wasn't able to finish. Sensing the sudden surgeof energy heading towards her and the other Saiyan's position, she could only assume Zucceta had fired a blast. She stepped back to get clear, suddenly feeling small hands grab hold of her undersuit. As she was promptly sent flying through the air, she caught sight of the warrior being blasted through the chest with Zucceta's blast. "Dammit I could've handled hi-AARGH!" she began, only to be cut off as Kaula appeared above her to finish her technique. Radasha's face wore an expression of shock as she took a hard blow to the chest from her daughter, sending her crashing to the war torn street below.
She couldn't breath. Kaula had winded her. She laid there, one hand clutching at her chest, as she breathed out rapidly. She was having trouble listening to Kaula's words as she fought for air. Damn girl.....that....hurt.....You'd think she'd go a little easier on her mother, heh. she thought as she struggled to get to her feet. "Who...the hell...do you think you're talking to like that....You don't tell me what not to do, I'm your damn mother....."
Slowly regulating her breathing, the older Saiyan finally got to her feet. With a few breaths, she lowered down a bit....before suddenly rocketing up above Kaula, raising her leg above the girl. "YOU'RE GROUNDED LITTLE GIRL!!" she roared as she attempted a heel drop on Kaula to send her, where else, but the ground.
(Radasha attempting to 'ground' Kaula) (Kaula is bad girl) (Also Radasha still has the suit part of her armor and her boots...just so you know)

Having retrieved his battle staff, the Tiger stood limply with his back against a concrete wall of a battered and ruined structure, clutching his chest and gasping for breath raggedly. Another small cell of Oozaru littered the street in front of him, slowly reverting as their beast-like features shrank and faded away to reveal the Saiyans within. Shrinking the weapon back to its carrying size, he shoved it back into its resting place within his rope belt against his waist, lurching forward and stumbling a few steps as he looked to the sky. All around him the battle was still raging on, but the Earth had more than shown it could hold its own against possibly the most dire threat in the galaxy. As his sloppy footfalls carried him a few more steps forward, he took off into an exhausted float. Slowly catching his breath, he would levitate his way up to a nearby rooftop and witness if the situation of the battlefield had changed, and indeed it had. Feeling the previous somewhat-familiar signature vanish after the massive golden ape let loose a deadly torrent of energy, he was left speechless as he watched the warrior fall. Yet another warrior had found themselves swallowed by the Saiyan invasion, but nobody had time to mourn, not yet. There was still plenty to fight and finish before that time could come. His three eyes scanning the field, he witnessed Vi-Poi's Mega Nega for the first time since West City against the first ever Super Saiyan, and it was so strange to consider things now; he'd witnessed more than a handful of such Saiyans, and the golden ape that the Administrator was fighting against now was a shining example to that fact, not to mention the strange Saiyan Captain from South City who had seemingly gone far and beyond a regular Super Saiyan. He felt deep down that even in a world where such a thing was becoming commonplace, he could still claim the mantle of the strangest what with his recent own claiming of an outlandish form. It seemed that the times were even so desperate that the great General Chartreuse came out of his pseudo-retirement and donned his old Jacket; Liang caught a hard glimpse at its figure off in the distance; if anything, that could have been the most grim signal by itself. Liang knew he had to do something, but what? He was quickly growing exhausted from battling all of the Oozaru littering the area, while the remaining warriors of Earth were locked in bouts that prevented them from doing the same. Gritting his teeth in frustration as he eyed the scene of Vipoi and the Golden Ape once more, his gaze slowly drifted to the other enemy Oozaru, and that was about the time he spotted none other than Kaula dancing toe to toe with the creature. The two most prominent threats were suffering quite a distraction, and that was when everything started to click. Having witnessed a glimpse of his fallen ally's last attack against the great ball of light in the sky, Liang nodded before sinking into a low posture, finally recalling his name from the meetup at the lookout. ''Pieter Wolfbane...you were a brave one. I wish I could have met you on better terms. The least I can do, though...''
He took a wide-legged posture, a pea-sized orb of orange chi forming in each hand's palm with a low hum. Energetic electricity began to spark around his being as the orbs slowly grew. If he didn't do something now, he wouldn't have this kind of distraction again. Keeping his eye on the Power Ball, he would bring his hands closer together in front of his person, connecting the two orbs with energy-spawned electrical energy as they slowly began to combine. When he was finally ready, he'd cup his hands at his side near his right hip before bounding off of his claimed rooftop, bouncing across several others. He flashed past Oozaru, beginning to dodge through a gauntlet of giant hands and fists. Juking past a beast-handed chop that split the building behind him clean in half, he leaped over one last blocking hand, placing the Power Ball between himself and the Golden Oozaru about to fall victim to the Mega Nega. With Kaula distracting the other Oozaru, he let out a war cry that echoed through the destroyed city. Memories from the lookout and his life flashed through his mind; he couldn't let himself be stopped now, no matter what! If he could just bring down that damned thing, Earth could stand a chance at rebelling against the invading forces! He began to recall everything; meeting Vipoi for the first time, training with Cipher, meeting Bing, meeting all of the other defenders at the lookout. He'd carry the will of all of the Earth's dead on his shoulders and smash this thing to bits! ''I'll finish that thing off, Wolfbane! I hope you're watching!''And with that last mental quip, Liang would lash his palms forward, expanding the orb into a massive dome of sparking, electrical chi and attempt to slam it against the Power Ball at melee range as he sailed through the air. The rooftops of buildings around him crumbled against the pressure generated by his energy, causing windows to burst and glass to rain all over the ruined streets. Chunks of concrete debris sailed from their rooted positions and littered the ruined roads, their busted-apart lesser forms lifting into the air and bursting into dust. A nearby Oozaru began to loose its footing at the rumbling the energy would generate, stumbling about briefly before rooting itself to regain its footing. ''ZEN IMPACT!''All he hoped for now is that the two stronger Saiyans didn't find some miraculous way to stop him; with the Golden Ape distracted by Vipoi and his Mega Nega and Liang's clever use of the Power Ball at close range for cover from it, he put his faith in Kaula to keep the lesser ape away in the meantime while he enacted his plan! Bang bang, you're dead! Oh I'm so easily lead.
Dirty Pretty Little Things, "Bang Bang You're Dead"
Zucceta had to admit, as the Mega Nega Bomb bore down and corrupted her own wave, that their were few cowards left to Earth. Even among those she had considered 'cattle', some had stayed within the city to shoot at her rampaging beasts with their inconsequential projectile guns. Inconsequential, yes, and arguably very foolish, but the line between bravery and foolishness was one that Zucceta trod every day of her life, and this moment was one of them.
She could have at least tried to dodge the impending doom that was Vi-Poi's assault. She quickly pondered breaking her own beam, the vain hope that it would outmatch the android's energy now obviously fallacious, especially considering her previous split priorities. At least her other Warhead had finished its target-
She feels someone in that opposing energy. She closes her eyes and sees the face of a child, not unlike that of her robotic foe who simply wore that guise. Who are you? She considers, forgetting her rage for just a moment, regretting the beam that had pierced that rogue Oozaru through the heart for just a moment, as her energy wave finally, ultimately breaks.
What happened next happened fast.
Lady Death finally died.
The Black Magic Android's blast explodes directly against chest, and the sky is afire with the blinding mushroom cloud of its detonation. It was fortunate that the Azure Administrator had pulled his intent to kill Zucceta, but the Lady Death in her still died. Her armor is torn to bits, leaving only the stretchy under-garment that somehow survived an attack that would otherwise have rendered her nude as well as dead. Her tail, too, is completely evaporated by the blast; it takes all of her own willpower to stop the rest of her body from following suit. She can feel the resonations through the earth--harmlessly, half a planet away, the ocean surges with a sudden tectonic energy that would, fortunately, foam away before the nearest coastline.
The Earth had shivered, and then all was quiet.
The Queen of all Saiyans seems to hang there in the smoke for an eternity. Her body quickly shrinks, to a bruised, golden mass, and then the gold, too, seeps out of her. It takes all of her ki to keep her from falling from the sky, and that ki, too, seeps out of her.
And then she begins to fall, words forming soundlessly on her lips, the name of a saiyan that never was.
The first ray of sun breaks through a smoke-sodden cloud, and her blurring vision witnesses another stranger break her Power Ball with ease, a shattering boom from his impact. That seemed only right.
In the distance, her Imperator still hovered. Technicians aboard the ship had been watching the fight with first wild interest, and now creeping dread. It was done. For the first time in contemporary history, they had been defeated. Their ranks had thinned through deaths and desertions, and now the symbol of the Age of Super Saiyans had been shattered.
The queen plunges from the sky and thinks about all the universe had taken from her, and as she accelerates towards an end, she smiles. In death, she might finally see him.
[Zucceta is falling from the sky. Her tail asploded and she has reverted to her base form. She is out of the battle. If she hits the ground, she's splat. Do as you wilt.]

Returning from: "Clash of Wills!"[Thread PL: 3,572,512]
The sounds of war began to die down as the grayed warrior flew through the skies. Below him was the ruined city he was sent to protect, each street covered in some war scar or another. He wasn't focusing on that however, he was focusing on the massive ball of energy which was slowly crashing down towards Zuccetta, the Queen of all Saiyans. Although she was the enemy, Bing couldn't let her die; she was too important to die now. "Come on stupid me, fly faster dammit! Zuccetta is gonna die if you don't make it in time!"His internal self-berating did little to speed him along, though the sudden explosion of Vi-Poi's massive energy attack did provide some ample fuel. His eyes widened as the explosion let out a massive shock-wave. He didn't have time to stop, but he was forced to slow down for a moment. The shock-wave washed over Bing as he flew, forcing him backwards slightly, but his determination kept him flying true. He pushed past the shock-wave, speed returning as his aura exploded around him. He arrived on the scene in what seemed to be a moment too late. Zuccetta was already defeated, her Ki fading to near-nothing rapidly. He scanned the mushroom cloud for a moment, hoping to see the queen still floating there, but sadly, she was not. The Queen plummeted out of the sky, her body completely out of energy to sustain any type of flight. Bing rocketed downwards, arms outstretched to catch the fallen queen. He slowed slightly as he approached, catching the queen comfortably in his arms. It seemed that the Queen was not only alive, but conscious as well, inciting a sigh of relief from Bing. The Guardian turned to Vi-Poi and spoke with a relieved tone. "Thank you, Vi-Poi... I think it's time we send the Saiyan's home."For a moment, the Guardian's eyes scanned the battlefield. There was nothing left of this once wondrous city. So many corpses littered the city streets, but one in particular stood out. It was the corpse of Pieter Wolfbane, one of Bing's allies. The Serpent Master's heart skipped a beat as he stared down towards the lifeless body of his comrade. A single thought crossed his mind as he turned away. "If only I had been faster..."
It was only now that he realized the Power Ball had been destroyed. The roars of Oozaru had been squelched, as they were unable to keep their transformation stable without the incandescent light of the artificial moon. He looked around for the warrior who destroyed it, noting that Liang was quite close to the ball's original location. The Guardian gave a shout across the battlefield towards his fellow human. "Hey Liang! Nice shooting!" Bing slowly floated towards the ground, landing softly on the ruined city street. If Zuccetta was able to stand, he'd let her down gently, taking a step back to give her some room. "You've lost, Zuccetta. Go home."
Silently lamented Pieter Wolfbane's death Complimented Liang for his shooting skills

Habana grit her teeth as the Guardian pulled ahead of her more and more with every second as they took off from the remains of the city block that she and Maeve had been fighting on and rocketed at top speed back to the main fight, the battle between the Earths strongest warriors and Zucceta herself. The Guardian was quite a bit stronger than her, more than twice her power and so it made sense that he would be faster than her, but simply knowing that it made senses did little to alleviate Habana's frustration as she raced after him sprinting through the air as her flew, thankfully now with the aid of her platforms she could no longer be hindered by physical obstacles which allowed her to at least somewhat keep up with him but he remained a significant pace ahead of her and every moment only widened the gap between them.
Habana grit her teeth as she felt multiple surges of power from the battle, first was one of the newer warriors delivering a powerful blow to the Moon Ball that Icarus had put up so long ago finally destroying the orb and removing a major source of power for the saiyan warriors, under normal circumstances this would be a particularly dangerous action, it would begin to sap the power of the Oozaru transformation from Zucceta and weaken her in the face of an already incredibly powerful attack. However this was made irrelevant by the fact that the Android had already launched his attack, it clashed briefly with Zucceta's own and Habana could feel it quickly overtake Zucceta's attack overwhelming it before consuming Zucceta herself.
Habana pushed herself even harder willing her body to move even faster to utilize the speed of the after image to give her the burst needed to hopefully do something ANYTHING to help Zucceta but already she could feel it was too late, the energy of the androids attack was already upon her, a few moments later it cleared up and Zucceta was falling, the blast was so powerful she could feel and even see it had forced a reversion back to her normal state, first dropping her to a super saiyan, and then even dropping her out of that form as her power continued to dwindle, Habana was certain she would feel Zucceta's power drop off entirely signaling the woman's death.
But then her weakening slowed to a crawl and Habana smirked, Zucceta was evidently too stubborn to die like that or perhaps they had gotten lucky and the androids attack had not been intended to kill, regardless she could feel that while Zucceta's power was wavering there was a chance. To Habana's infinite frustration her use of the after image to speed herself up had not allowed her to reach Zucceta first, not even by a long shot, the Guardian's lead was far too significant and he snatched her out of the air very likely saving her from a rather un-saiyan death via plummeting to the ground.
Seeing Bing begin his descent to the ground Habana would do the same, while she had a fair amount of trust that the Guardian himself would not go back on his word and attack Zucceta she was FAR less willing to trust the others and as Bing sought to give the surprisingly still conscious Zucceta a chance to stand Habana would take up a protective stand near the Queen eyeing the other warriors warily, her aura flaring around her like golden fire, the majority of her focus was on the strongest warrior, the largest threat, the android. He had summoned enough power to take down Zucceta but even still Habana was ready and willing to take a crack at him if necessary.

Post by Zucceta on Nov 6, 2015 5:26:04 GMT
She couldn't recall the last time she had appreciated the warmth of the sun breaking through a raincloud. The thought makes her smile as she plunges through the sky, diving towards a concrete end, her body whistling through the air like a bullet with a death wish.
The end doesn't come.
Her eyes open as she rests in Bing's arms. The defeated villain stares at the human, her smile fading from her lips. "I guess I don't regret sparing you." She laughs once, harshly, then coughs up thick blood, trickling from the corner of her mouth. The Mega-Nega had surely knocked a lot out of her; any lesser will would have embraced the darkness edging at the corners of their vision.
But we've seen enough about Zucceta's will to know that she'll keep going until her bones are dust.
With mild interest, her head rotates to the cybernetic limb: it was no surprise to see it sparking. As Bing lowered her to the Earth, she reached to it and, straining, manages to pull the limb free of her body. She tosses it into a smoking pile of rubble.
The guardian of Earth would let her go, and she'd wobble, unsteadily. She stares around at the Earth's defenders, looking more like a lost child than anything. She looks around at the city, at the smoke, and the charred rubble, at the blackened skeletons, almost as if nuclear armageddon had come to North Metro. Several saiyans hover in the air, post-Oozaru reversion. All look to her; they couldn't hope to match the Earth's defenders with her defeat, although most would happily accept death in combat. Scouter chatter told them that They look to her to see what her next tactic was. A red blast for war, for a suicide mission that would end in their humiliation or deaths at the hands of Earth's finest. Despite her loss, she had her army's loyalty, her Golden Oozaru form, short-lived as it was, inspiring awe and, truth be told, a dozen songs.
Instead, she raises her remaining arm. A weak white blast erupts from her fingers and explodes in the sky; the signal of retreat. Some saiyans groan, a couple take the opportunity to spit and blast away, to a different area, but most are aware of their loss. While their pride might be wounded they still had their lives, and with or without Oozaru they would have been pacified with Zucceta out of their picture. The remaining saiyans return to their pods, or stream back to the bright, reflective Imperator still lurking in the charcoal sky.
The darkness encircling her consciousness threatens to overtake her on firing the "white flag" blast, but she readies herself, wiping her lower jaw and smearing some blood across her chin. She turns back to the world warrior's, and chuckles.
"You know, its been a while since I've felt anything but rage." She looks around the city. "Your people made me angry. They didn't know how good they had it, wouldn't know, until someone took it away from them."
She looks downwards, showing a vulnerability.
"From the second of my conception I had been bred to kill and to die for the Empire. For over twenty five years my world was nothing but pain and hate, hate coursing through my veins. The few moments of triumph in my life, however monstrous by your standards, were quickly snatched away by circumstance."
She pauses, hearing a light toc from behind her. An alien medic, a rare Zoon-seijin not dedicated to the fighting arts, had rapidly descended in a hover-chair from the Imperator. "M'lady, you're bleeding out-"
"In a minute, Ochus. The first thing that was taken from me was my innocence. While thunder raged through me instinctively, my survival on the planet I was sent to as a child did not taint me; for my strength and violence I was happy, and did not hate. Only on learning the truth of my parents, of their murder, of my intended demise, did I..." she trails off.
"I knew hate, and for the first time in my life I had a personal goal. I'd murder the person who took my parents away, and more importantly, who had wanted to kill me as a newborn. His name was Kohl, a pudgy weakling who had learned to rely on his wealth. I did this as soon as a graduated the elite class at the fighting academy. My one goal complete, I got taken away to prison, and from there I was eventually pardoned and inducted into the fighting squad where I first took a title, Lady War."
She pauses. It looks for a minute like she's struggling with something, either consciousness or emotions. She looks at the heroes, she assumes their reproach, she nods and continues.
"While in this squad, I fought I had eventually found my calling. I fought I had eventually found something to live for. I was good at being War. I didn't, honestly, take as much pleasure in violence as the average, dumb saiyan, but nobody could doubt I had the skill or mind for it. And I... Lord Death..." her bloody fist clenches. Most saiyans did not have romantic relationships, sexual liaisons serving the needs of pleasure and nothing more. Zucceta had been one of those rare few saiyans who did feel the passion of love, and a passion that was reciprocated by her lover.
"Vengeance moves in cycles. The man I killed had a son, a son who took his father's place in the governmental hierarchy. On the way back from a mission, his goons overpowered us with numbers. They all died. Lady War died, too, and so did the joy that was growing inside her. And so did her, my, first attempt at making something."
"She... I was six months pregnant when that boy destroyed my life."
EIGHTEEN MONTHS AGO
The two sat around the fire, Cherimoya, Lord Death, and Zucceta. Cuke and Umber had turned in early; it had been a busy day scouting the planet they were set to conquer on the rise of the moon in two nights, and the brothers had gotten in a squabble over food. Both had sulkily left the two other members of Apocalypse Incorporated to their own devices. She remembered the night well; the air was sweet as roses, and the sun had kissed her forehead. More than the violence, she enjoyed the down time. She enjoyed the peace.
"What do you mean, you think you're pregnant?"
Lady War smiles. "I missed it. You know."
Cherimoya grunts, standing up, pacing back and forth. "This can't get in the way of our work, Zucceta. If we top the rankings again, we might have a chance at joining Zasho's adv- I mean, the Ministry; and from there, who knows, we could really be on the up. We're due something good."
She nods. "Of course. I want that more than you." She chuckles. "But this could be good, too."
For the first time in a while, Cheri broke out into a grin. He slides the scouter off his face, and presses it into Zucceta's stomach.
She laughs. "What're you..?"
The scouter blips, and he whoops once, loudly. "Yep, you've got one in the oven. Ha ha!"
She punches him in the shoulder. "Stop being such a Zoon, Cherimoya."
"In the months before that day, I had grown to love whoever the person was who was growing inside me. If he was a boy, he'd have been called Onio; if a girl, Onia. One of our heroes' daughters was called that." The woman absent-mindedly moves her hand to her stomach. "We swelled and swelled like a balloon, and then was popped."
"Who I was then, the me who wasn't just rage, who had purpose beyond killing; she died. I became Death, but more than that, I became the apocalypse. I wanted nothing more than for the people who wronged me to suffer. And suffer they did, but not at MY hand."
She wriggles her stump. "After leaving here with my souvenir, I returned to find my vengeance stolen from me. IT WAS MINE!" She barks, her voice suddenly rising to a shout despite her frailty. She shivers with anger, takes a few panting breathes, before sighing. "Every time my life has a purpose outside of war, it is taken from me." She shakes her head, before looking at each person.
"The people of Earth..." she shakes her head. "Well, maybe now they might know how to appreciate what they have. I won't deny I came here to take this world from them; this planet gave me peace, in truth, but for the people on it. But you earthlings, well, I once more underestimated you; and not only that, but I overestimated my own people. Few have the experiences I have; how could I expect them to understand?"
Zucceta slumps backwards, reeling. Ochus catches her, and she does not attempt to right herself from this position. She looks to Vi. "I saw someone in your ki, in the moment before it hit me. A boy in your image..? Or, maybe, the other way around." She smiles. "He looks like a good kid. Take care of him."
Her eyes glance to Radasha, then to Kaula. She offers up a smile to the family. As soon as Radasha showed up, Zucceta had decided that Kaula had to survive today, despite her rage. Everyone is someone's child.
Her eyes roll to Habana, her aura was ablaze with the furious golden of the transformation. Zucceta chuckles. "Well done, Habana, my friend. Well done..."
And then, she falls unconscious in Ochus's arms. The Zoon medic gulps, glancing around the Earth heroes, before heaving the saiyan queen back to the hoverchair.
(Zucceta finally fell unconscious, what a relief. Intended departation)

Kaula had totally just saved her mother from getting caught in the blast of that giant attack that the queen had fired upon the other Saiyan! With a growl and a flick of her tail after it uncoiled from around her waist, she went to roll her shoulders lightly. Every bone. Every joint. Every muscle in her body, they were all aching as her adrenaline started to wear off. The pain was slowly coming to her. With a groan, she let out a sigh. The Super Saiyaness's hair of pale gold soon reverted back to it's default, resting color of black. Her glorious teal eyes? Now green once more. Her power level dropped low. She was honestly a bit amazed she could still stand at this point. Or, rather, float. As she was in the air.
Her bright green eyes glanced down to the ground for a moment as she heard her mother start to growl out as she rose back to her feet. She'd admit it, she was surprised. Her mother was able to not only still be awake after that blow, but could still stand! Kaula huffed out quietly, her hand coming to her scarf to pull it over her mouth slowly with a sigh, glad it had survived the brutal beating she had received.
However, her peace would not last long! As her mother went to rocket up. Kaula, however, lazily flew back to avoid the ground. Laughing a bit at her mother's witty one-liner... The laughs, however, were quickly followed by some coughs. "Good one. Mom.." she said with a soft chuckle before she glanced towards Vipoi's attack which was heading right for the queen! However, something else caught her eye! It was that one! LIANG! That fool! He was at- Oh. Well the fact he was attacking the power ball didn't matter much now. The girl sighed out as she brought a hand up to run it through her glorious mane as the perverted human went on with his heroic shenanigans.
It had not only hit her, but it seemed to have defeated her! Kaula, who had been ready to spring into action, had been given the luxuary of staying right where she fucking was because someone else saved her. Still, with a sigh, Kaula slowly lowered herself onto her mother's Oozaru head, crossing her legs as she sat there, giving her mom a light pet. She didn't feel like fighting. Not now, anyway. With yet another sigh she watched the queen as she approached the ship. Sure, she was a bit confused. She.. Lead an army. Destroyed a lot of homes here. Hell, this whole capitol was pretty much destroyed! But.. The humans were just going to let her go? Damn. Humans weird, she thought as she shook her head lightly.
Kaula, however, listened to the Saiyan queen's story with interest. A bit shocked. A bit surprised. A bit confused. Still, when Zucceta had smiled towards her and Radasha, the Saiyan hybrid gave the queen a smile in return, giving her a thumbs up! At least them letting her go ment that she could kick her ass at a later time, probably! She soon lowered her hand, patting her mother's head.
"Let's.. Just go. I'm hurtin' too much. Don't think I can fight.. or move a lot. You can carry me, mom." she muttered out.
(Attempting to make DE branch with Radasha so we can type more words this saga, thanks for understanding) (trying to exit with Radasha. AGAIN!) (PL please.~)

Radasha's attack missed, and all she managed to do was make another hole in the ground in ruins filled with holes. She should've expected that really. Her daughter far surpassed her in strength. It was something she was proud of. That little half-saiyan girl who had trouble with bullies was now strong enough to obliterate any of those fools who would have dared ridicule or harass her before. A shock suddenly went through her body, drawing her out of her thoughts. Spinning around, she witness the blast that had taken out the power ball fade. "Damn...." she growled. She'd be out of the fight soon. She could already feel the change beginning.
Looking skyward, the android had released his attack and it had engulf Zucceta's attack..then the queen herself. She was worried for a moment, until the queen's figure could be seen through the smoke. Then she fell. Radasha made a move to try and speed over to catch her, but stopped. She wouldn't make it. She didn't have to anyway. Zucceta had been caught by the same human who lost their arm, repeatedly, to her. She approached them as she body began it's change, the Saiyan grunting as some parts of the transformation back to her more humanoid state were a bit painful. That blow Kaula landed earlier also began to become more noticeable as her power and size dropped. Kaula, who had say on her head while she was in oozaru state, was now, sitting on her shoulders. Radasha still had enough strength to hold her up, so it didn't bother the older saiyan any. The battle was over now. Zucceta had given the order. The soldier was at ease.
She stopped a ways away from them, listening to the Queen talk. One part hit pretty close to home for the older woman. Zucceta had been pregnant before? Radasha knew the feeling of a child growing inside you. She'd experienced it twice. Though she hadn't been able to spend much time with her first child, she was happy with the time she had with Kaula....And it upset her that Zucceta hadn't got the chance to experience it with her own child. The older lowered her head as she listened to the rest of what Zucceta had to say before the Queen passed out. She'd be okay. Radasha doubted she'd succumb to her wounds.
Sighing, the woman turned as the Queen was taken into her ship, reaching up to place her hands on Kaula's legs to keep her steady up there as she walked. "Alright Kaula.....I'll take you home....You fought greatly and I'm proud of you....You deserve some rest" she said, walking towards the direction she had came in from at the start, eventually adjusting so Kaula was in her arms so she could take off, flying off if she wasn't stopped. She wondered if she'd suffer repercussions for her actions during the battle...namely killing the battle jacket squad and aiding in the death of the Earth allied Oozaru...but they'd have to wait.
(Whoops, almost forgot to add I was exiting the thread. Power Level please)

In the final moments of the climatic confrontation between the Lady of Death and the Azure Android: a battered silhouette faded into existence. Perched atop the crumbling remains of a ruined building and some ways away from the other heroes: the demonic swordswoman stood and looked upon the climax of the titanic struggle. In those final moments got to witness the final clash of energy between the two impossibly powerful warriors. She got to watch as the gifts of the 'bestial' and the 'divine' be stripped from the queen as the very existence of 'Lady Death' was shattered leaving only Zucceta. Vulnerable and beaten, the queen would explain herself to those rallied against her. She spoke not as the callous Lady of War but as the bitter shell of a woman she had become after her loss. While the events she suffered were tragic beyond words Maeve had little sympathy for what she had become. Her loss didn't excuse the countless slain by her actions. How many families were slaughtered by her this day? How many mothers would have to bury their children? ...How many people's lives were made to mirror her own? The selfishness, arrogance, and attempt to teach a 'lesson in appreciation' to the world's populace: soured any sympathy she might have had for the queen. In fact, she felt disgusted. If it hadn't been for the fact that she were to be a martyr... ...She would have let her drop. Troubled by her harsh thoughts, Maeve diverted her attention away from the queen and to the gathered heroes. Most she recognized and was glad to see them well. The body of the one known as Pieter prevented her from truly rejoicing, however. The death and destruction didn't seem to phase Kaula however. She was happily consorting with Radasha, the saiyan warlord and even flashed the queen a cheeky grin followed by a thumbs up. "Idiot...Have you no shame?" She muttered under her breath as she shook her head. Not wanting to linger, the demoness looked out to where some of the other saiyans escaped to. There was still work to be done, she couldn't rest yet... After taking one last glance towards Bing and Habana the demoness would fade away. Off to clear out the area of any would be attackers.

The Hard-won Victory (Music)With his defiant roar of power and the Zen Impact exploding into a close-range dome of energy, his spur of the moment plan had come full circle. As the fearsome Mega Nega collided with the Saiyan Queen, so too did Liang's attack impact the orb of light. Crashing through it as it shattered into shimmering and glistening particles of false moonlight, Liang found himself exhausted from the days' events. While he attempted a soft landing, his body just didn't want to recover anymore. He struck down hard on a rooftop on the other side of the ball, rolling roughly until landing in a messy heap on his back, his chest heaving and desperately grasping for air from exhausted lungs. through it all, though, his face was painted with an ear to ear, genuinely joyous smile. They'd done it. They'd won. They had done the seemingly possible against an equally impossible seeming force, the strongest known race of warriors in the galaxy had been tried and tested against Earth's finest and been found wanting. He would turn his head to admire the shrinking forms of the gigantic Oozaru, and that wad about the time the Saiyan forces stood down. He didn't understand why; if Saiyans were known for one thing, it was pride. Could it be that the Queen was still alive? He could faintly feel her signature at the very fine edges of his senses, and then it began to click. Had she died, the Saiyans likely would have made a martyr of her and continued a reckless assault, causing even more deaths. With her beaten, they still had someone to answer to. It likely served as a harsh lesson to the Saiyaness as well. Using what little strength he had to lean up and peer over the edge of the roof, he could see survivors from both sides gathered together and speaking, though obviously couldn't make a word out of what they were all saying. He could make out Bing's voice shouting praise his way for destroying the construct, and as he was about to answer, he felt a harsh lump in his throat, thinking about the mutant... thing on his forehead. After a brief rest he felt that he could at least fly again to rejoin everyone, although slowly. He then thought about the new eye he sported on his forehead again. ''What am I thinking...? It's better I don't. I feel like some sort of freak of nature.'' He frowned slightly. Getting an idea, he tore off a few rolls of his combat tape and wrapped it into a thin band, wrapping it around his head to cover up the disgusting thing. As the eye forced itself shut rather unwillingly, he could feel his own energy signature begin to drop back to its base level. Good; he could conceal it. He felt it roll around and sting unpleasantly, and noticeably grimaced as he clutched at his forehead briefly as if to calm it. Shakily rising to his feet, he stepped to the ledge and looked down. There was still something he had to do. Scanning the broken battlefield for the remains of Pieter Wolfbane, the warrior who's plan he enacted who had tragically fell in the battle. Now that it was all over, he wondered how the Queen, or if the Queen, would be made to answer for all of Earth's dead. It was nothing short of a war crime. Floating down from the roof slowly and lightly padding his feet against the ground in landing, he stumbled forward a few steps until reaching the end of the block, and finally rested his gaze on the fallen warrior. Stepping over to him lightly, he knelt down and solemnly gave his own moment of silence. He barely knew the man, but losing an ally was never something Liang would get used to. Now that he'd been shrunk down to his normal size, Liang scooped him up in a carry. He didn't deserve to just lay out here like this; an immediate fitting spot came to mind to lay the man to rest, and with that, he lifted off into the sky without offering goodbyes and made his way for the Lookout with Wolfbane in tow, intending to let him rest at the most peaceful and iconic spot on Earth, where they all had met before joining the battle; The Timeless Lookout. [Exiting Thread, requesting PL and addition of x16 transformation, Tiger's Eye] [Liang is heading for the Lookout with Pieter to give him a more peaceful place to rest]

Bing listened to Zuccetta's story somberly. Though she was a brutal woman, she had good reason for it. Her life had been just as wicked to her as she was to her foes. The Guardian was about to speak up, but Zucetta fainted, falling unconscious in the arms of a strange alien doctor. The alien hoisted his queen into a hover chair, floating away slowly as to not raise any alarms in the Earth's defenders. With the queen finally safe, Bing turned to the still battle-ready Habana, addressing her with a seemingly relaxed tone. "I think you've got a queen to take home... Unless you wanna stick around and help with cleanup duties."
The Guardian noticed that Liang had descended towards Pieter. It seemed the Tiger Master was intent on taking him to a better resting place, which was a good choice. As Liang lifted off the ground with Wolfbane in tow, Bing smiled. "At least he'll have a proper burial... I just wish he didn't need one in the first place." He briefly considered sending Liang a telepathic message, but decided against it.
Bing floated back into the sky, facing Vi-Poi with a determined expression. "We need to start relief efforts and repairs on the city as soon as possible. I think it'd be best to focus our efforts on the North here, but we can't forget about the other three cities; they weren't hit anywhere near as hard, but they'll need some assistance rebuilding as well." The Guardian turned away from Vi-Poi, placing his hands on his hips as he sighed. "It's gonna be a long day..."
[EXIT] [PL Please!] Tons of fun as usual, just wish it didn't take so long.
