(Because what we need right now are yet more suggestions around minor issues, hooray!)
It has been mentioned a few times that Durability is basically useless when transformations start coming into play.
I'd like to suggest an easy fix for this: have Durability be a once-per-thread, double your PL for the purposes of defence.
This'd be a huge boost, obviously, but it happens once. You essentially get one free 'tank a spirit bomb' as an arcosian or an android. Compare that to namekian/majin regens, and it has the advantage of not requiring that you give up a post to focus it, but the downside you'll only ever get to do it once compared to their potentially larger amount of self-healing.
I'd be surprised if this hasn't been suggested before somewhere, but I thought I'd throw it out there as a way of keeping Durability relevant throughout the entire game rather than being useful for androids in the early game and almost entirely useless for arcosians if they actually use their transformation (which is their 'big benefit' from the get go).

Have the people calling it useless ever actually used/had it used against them? (Durability is a x1 bonus, so if you have a x10 trans, you have x11 defense when durability is activated)

Digging deeper into the game design, Zuni? Right now Durability is increasingly useless, and you don't need to have used it to know Bao -- you just have to be able to do maths. That's kind of like asking "How do you know this wet noodle I've given you will be useless against Star Destroyers, have you even used it? A +x1 defensive once per thread is very small, and its usefulness diminishes into almost nothing as the game progresses. A double defense is interesting as it mirrors the early benefit of the +x1 and extends that throughout the game. I feel like it's a bit too strong though, at least without a KP system or something like it, given the way huge killing techs are spammed. I'll think about it some tonight and come up with a bigger response tomorrow.

A lil'! And as Vi-Poi said, I just needed to be able to do basic math. I realized that the 'margin of error' for PL is 15% (because within 85% we count as functionally equal) and for arcosians, with a 10x transformation right at the beginning, increasing that to x11 is adding another 10% to their PL. Which is useless from day 1 in a 'real' fight for them. ETA - Under the KP system this would essentially give these races a once-per-thread slightly-worse-than-SU2 dodge move, with the added boost that it doesn't actually cost KP. It IS very strong, but it isn't unstoppable I think... compare/contrast with the ability for a namekian to have double digit regens late game.

It also occurred to me that my proposal is functionally equal to a 'free' level 3 barrier technique once per thread.
If you've got a x3 transformation or higher, the current durability quality is worse than a level 1 barrier technique once per thread.
These seem like pretty fair comparisons to me (barriers adding +33%/+66% or +100% to blocking damage - they're actually all still better than durability because you can charge them and use them to protect other people, but as a measure of defensive power vs defensive power it is still a useful measure)

I too think that you should have your defensive pl times by two one a thread, that way it doesn't make the late game use of the racial ability useless.

Like Goku blocking almost all of Broly's attack? Tanking them?
That would be nice but I believe they should have Off and Def PL diff overall like the the others, just make the race that uses such MUCH better.
Or even
Like they can decide how much PL they'll put into to blocking or something with a cap.
Or make it similar to the KP system but optional all the same,
Nevertheless, I kinda like this idea.
