Entering through her massive, kissy Wyntre door, she placed her arms against her hips and slightly pressed her chest out. She waited for Wyntre to join her in the Gravity Chamber and hadn’t actually seen her in a very long time. Someone she had seen recently, and was seeing right now, was yellow pineapple man. Kiwano was currently already in the gravity chamber and was actually training in intensified gravity. Zexama was genuinely amazed by this as she thought Kiwano had never trained a day in his life, considering how weak he is. It was at this time that Zexama decided to ignore all the horrible things Kiwano had done to her in the past and instead she would do the nicest thing that everyone has done to Kiwano, help him train!
Zexama shot over to Kiwano to quickly for him to notice and picked him up by the back and spun him around in circles before plopping him back onto the ground. She greeted him with a gleaming smile, ”MORNING KIWANO! Today I’m going to help you train, you’re going to get as strong as me.” After saying this she quickly turned around to the computer and did a small wink. What she stupidly didn’t know was that a live feed of that camera was displayed on a computer screen right next to Kiwano. Unamused, Kiwano sighed slowly began to walk out of the gravity chamber believing he had lost his training time before of Zexama, again.
Moving her hand towards the Gravity Chamber’s main board and hit a bunch of random buttons before the gravity conveniently went to 150 times gravity. Zexama, you know Kiwano has left the chamber right? Zexama neck did a complete 180 and stared directly at Kiwano. ”COME RIGHT BACK HERE. NOW!” Kiwano’s head slightly dropped before turning back around and returning the stare towards Zexama. Zexama, don’t waste my time this morning. I need to raise in these ranks.”[/b] Zexama pretended to act all sympathetic and sad before appearing right in front of Kiwano.
”Fine then! You can just train outside of the gravity and I’ll train in it! Now give me 1000 handstands!” She glared at Kiwano as he got onto his hand with his stumpy legs raised into the air. He began to do as commanded, so, as an encouragement, she created a bowl of small Kiwano lollies that were specialised for the trainee masterfully. Zexama looked back at the computer and announced her request for what she truly believed would help her train Kiwano. ”Computer! Can you print a copy of the training schedule and put some cool inspirational music on so Kiwano can get into training while I eat chips in front of him?” The computer replied in a monotone way before playing the well known Mulan song, ‘I’ll make a man out of you’. Of course, Zexama.
On the wall next to the two of them printed out a laminated sheet with a new system that Kiwano would be asked to complete every day. As Zexama saw Kiwano doing the hand stands she threw the sheet at him and sat on a couch that she magically created before pulling out a bag of chips from her waist. While slowly eating them she activated a button on her scouter, turning it on. ”G’day Zex! What is it that you want today?” Zexama smiled cheekily before placing in her request to her trusty scouter. ”Have all the speakers on the ship say Wyntre, over and over again. Then after a while tell her to come to the gravity chamber, but that’s not really the important part, you know?”
Very soon after that, Zexama heard the nearby speaker repetitively announce Wyntre’s name in a very annoying fashion. The lights of the ship also turned on and off every known and then, she hoped it was an intended effect of scouter and not an accidental outcome of messing with the ship. Zexama lay down her chair awaiting some time to train with Wyntre. The crunch of her chips accompanied the stressful breathing of Kiwano who was known very worried for the appearance of Wyntre and hope that she would not take any of the conflict out on him.

Oh no.Kiwano did need to 'rise in the ranks', it was true. But he needed to rise in power ranks, not… you know… rank ranks. Aside from Wyntre and her two 'guests' (Zexama and Kocha, the new superhero one), Kiwano was the highest ranked individual on the ship. He was the Chief of Staff, after all. He had worked hard for this position and, despite his natural power ("Enough to blow up particularly small and flammable moons!") of five thousand, it just wasn't cutting it anymore. Kiwano was training solely so that he could stand up to Zexama's antics. But, here we were again… it seemed to be the case that the Majin's purpose was to beat Kiwano into depression and step on his figurative fingers as he clung for dear life from the figurative cliffs of sanity. No, no, no! Not now of all times! My psychiatrist gets paid enough already! This was a lie, Kiwano didn't actually have a psychiatrist. Rather, he had a cadre of them. Between them, a good chunk of his (admittedly generous) paycheck was divided. But, he supposed, the idea wasn't horrible. She trained in the gravity, he trained in lesser gravity, it was all quite— What is that music? Was she…? Was she saying that Kiwano wasn't a man? I mean, sure, there was no sexual dimorphism in his species, but they knew each other for years! He hoped it was because she was a little Majin girl and not anything to do with him. It was a good thing the ship had the rights to Bao'isney's music, too, otherwise it might have chosen some music more typical of Zexama. Meanwhile, Wyntre was in the medical bay, overlooking the doctors who were seeing to some of the crew who had been trapped in a wall for a period of time by Zexama. When, if ever, will she realize that people aren't her playthings? When will she realize that other people, even people she doesn't know the names of, can be hurt as much as she can?""Lady Wyntre. We're receiving reports that Zexama's scouter is attempting to hack into the audio controls." The lovely Majin who said that was Panforte, a baker who found work on the Valiance. Wyntre had been keeping her and Zexama apart as she wasn't sure how she would react to a Majin focusing on pastry rather than candy. "Well, good luck to them. The Valiance is absurdly secure, it would take thousands of years to compromise even something as unimportant as the audio contr—""Wyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntre—""Nevermind.""—wyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntre—"the lights flickered off and on again. "… Give me a moment."
She entered the gravity chamber, having passed by a frightened Kiwano. What had Zexama done now? Upon seeing the Majin, she requested the obvious. "Do you hear this?""—wyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntrewyntre—""Make it stop."

”On second thought, I’ll have this as my new training music.”
The repetitive sound of Wyntre’s name brought about a rather nice mood to train as hard as she could. So as she would normally do, she sat down on her couch and opened up a packet of chips filled with chips that were filled with smarties which, believe it or not, were filled with packets of chips, filled with...nevermind, you get the point. The sound actually ended up being a sort of white noise once she listened to it for an extended amount of time. Before long the planned was a brilliant success and Wyntre walked into the room looking like a very ‘happy’ Wyntre who couldn’t be more happy about seeing the pink child sitting down and stuffing her face with the chips that would never stop being tasty.
As Wyntre came into the room she questioned whether or not Zexama was able to hear the amazing, super inspirational training music which currently filled the entire Valiance. Everyone that heard it was filled with a very inspirational sense of confusion. Zexama stared at Wyntre as she commanded that Zexama shut off the masterpiece, most likely because it was probably about to cause extreme insanity to everyone around them. Zexama’s scouter overheard the conversation and took initiative for the action requested to them. ”Shame to cut this party short but this is for the better of majinkind! So I’ll just do this and let you get back to eating your chips filled with chips.” Zexama shrugged her shoulders and sat back on her couch loudly crunching the packets of delight as they entered her mouth.
The scouter used its magical hacking abilities to get back into the computer system and turned up the volume of the Master Audio Controls to full. A booming sound shook the Valiance physically and made everyone fall the their knees that was around the ship. ”Oh sorry, my bad.” The scouter tried once more and then shut down the amazing training music. With all that concluded Zexama jumped out of her chair and pointed towards Wyntre while shouting, ”Okay! It’s time to train so let’s do this.” Zexama readied her arms into a defensive position, eager for Wyntre to make a move.

Most people are not able to see their noses. It's always there, always vying for your attention, but it is always ignored. Sure, you could chalk this up to stereoscopic parallax, but that isn't truly why it isn't there. So, why do noses go unnoticed? Because they are always there. Because the brain sees past them. Water does not seem to have a taste. Other than being influenced by what one had consumed previously, it doesn't seem to convey any flavour. Other chemicals have flavours, so why is water without? Because the brain has gotten used to it. Because the brain ignores it. The Kurozatoan, a species from the Western Quadrant, were known to be a peculiarity by Arcosian psychologists and, strangely, olfactologists due to their strange mental properties: they acclimate to just about anything and everything so that, in time, any state can be shown to be made the neutral state. For example, continually stabbing them will really hurt until they got used to it (thus resulting in no experienced pain), but then stopping the stabbing will cause a pleasure equivalent to the pain experienced. Alternatively, putting a really annoying yet constant sound all through the ship will annoy a Kurozatoan at first, yes, but this will soon fade. Sarikhand was the only Kurozatoan aboard Wyntre's ship and, indeed, the only Kurozatoan she had ever had the pleasure of meeting. When he first heard the sound... well, it was a nice name, yes, 'Wyntre' was a ring to it, but it was uttered so often. But, he didn't have to worry so much about it: he mentally acclimated. Soon, it was gone. But, then... He heard it. It was... just... so loud. But, then, silence. Or, what we would call silence. Sarikhand experienced a mildly pleasant sensation of anti-sound. Admittedly, it felt weird listening to something so beautiful while his coworkers writhed in pain. This would cause another of those 'Exile Zexama' petitions, he was sure of it already. "You can't keep doing this."To what she was referring should be pretty obvious at this point. "Your actions are only hurting people. This was the result of the actions of your absurd sentient scouter, yes, but you are responsible for it." Was the scouter a 'him'? It wasn't like it mattered. That scouter was hardly important enough to even be referred to, not even as a footnote. "Look at what you've been doing to Kiwano. Look at what you've done to the repair crew. You're even sabotaging my earth-bound candy enterprise, which only exists because you nagged me to fund it until I did. Intentionally or not, you're a safety hazard, and you might have just deafened half of the crew. Rewarding you with a training session is hardly the best thing to do."Ah, but what was she doing? She entered a fighting position. It was doubtful that Zexama would have known what this was, but she entered the traditional Arcosian 'Serpent Stance', named after the really really really big serpents that would dig their way through the ice and ambush their prey in the Arcosian tundra, despite being just so very big. This stance delivered the power of a blow that one might expect from a really big snake with all of the sneakiness of a really small snake. It was agile, nimble, lithe, spry, limber, sprightly, graceful, deft and a few other synonyms of 'agile', was hard to master and took years of experience to learn. Wyntre had those years. "So don't consider this a reward. Don't even consider this training."She giggled slightly, mischievously. Ki began to gather around her form. "Consider this me beating you up until you get enough power to stop me."
Her power shifted, danced, twirled, around her body and around her soul. What was soon to be unleashed was the power of the Royal Form. What was soon to be unleashed was the Power, the Serenity, the Truth of Arcose. What was soon to be unleashed was more powerful than what Zexama could handle. If her offence were as good as her defence, then sure, maybe she'd have a good chance at winning... but, like this? She'd need a miracle, or a transformation, to win. Boom. Her muscles increased in size. "Computer. Are you with us?"Boom. Her natural armour changed shape. "Lady Wyntre, it appears that my systems had been temporarily meddled with. Would you like me to try to find the cause of this?"Boom. Her eyes turned from red to purple. She laughed. It wasn't a giggle, it was more hearty. It was deeper, too. Stronger. "Oh, no need. I just need you to put on some actual training music."Boom. Her head's natural armor and bio-gems morphed into, in a flash of light, a structure resembling that of a cobra. "Of course, Lady Wyntre."Boom. And it was made so."Gaze upon my perfection, Princess. Can you hope to face it and win?"Boom. Parts of her natural armor darkened, including the edges of her natural armor segments and the back-facing part of her 'cobra' head. She laughed once again, letting the theatrics get to her. Energy of black and white began to swirl from her core, down her arms, and rested in her arms. "SUPER..." In her left arm she held the blue ki. It was everything good. It was Brisk, it was Daiki, it was Kocha. It was the time Wyntre played chess with Vi-Poi, it was Vi-Poi. It was hope, it was truth and yet it wasn't, it was what Arcose could have been. In her right arm she held the red ki. It was everything bad. It was Zucceta, it was Xylo, it was Koldar. It was the time Wyntre ordered the deaths of her brothers, it was her brothers. It was despair, it was false and yet it was, it was what Arcose had been turned into. "... THEMIS..." She thrust her arms forward, forcing the red and the blue, the good and the bad, the order and the chaos, to combine in one. But, not just that. They complemented each other. They seeped into each other. And, soon enough, there was no other, only one. No red, no blue... only purple. It sped towards the Majin like a sleeping cat. Well, it didn't actually, but it was a useful comparison. What made the manner in which the beam travel like a sleeping cat? It would be easier to explain not their differences, but their similarities, in which there were none. The way the beam travelled was very much so unlike a sleeping cat in that the beam was neither sleeping, nor a cat. But, perhaps, its power would make Zexama wish that it were. "... WAVE!" The purple split into red and blue, blue and red, and then into purple. They merged together and separated again like a really confused double helix. The Super Themis Wave might not have technically been a wave, but it sure was super.

It was true. Zexama’s actions were unempathetic and all for selfish results. It wasn’t as if the majin’s intent was to cause harm to those around her. Zexama’s eagerness was almost completely lost at this point. Wyntre was doing the usual, equally annoying lectures of nonsense that took no consideration to how Zexama actually thinks. If Wyntre was a smart as she constantly made herself out to be, then she could at least attempt to say it in a way that wasn’t guilt tripping Zexama for the actions she did and making her feel bad too much.
It caused nothing positive to come out of it. The pointless lecture was just a continuous downpour of guilt that was meant to magically make Zexama stop being stupid. Zexama had had enough of it. She couldn’t stand it for any longer. The guilt got to her and began to mess with her head. She began to recall moments of her path where she could have stopped something bad from happening but didn’t. The time that Zexama failed to save the planet from the tree of might. It was her fault that the planet didn’t survive and then also her friend, Bing.
The chaotic laugh of madness that echoed in her mind from Zucceta’s mouth. It was a repetitive reminder of Zexama’s weakness and failures. Zexama had to fight for Bing, she needed to prove that she wasn’t useless, to prove that she was worth something to Wyntre. ”Stop lecturing me.” She spoke coldly without taking into consideration much of what Wyntre said after that. She filtered out all the distractions including Wyntre’s attack being charge ever so elegantly before shutting her eyes and concentrating on her center. Placing her hands together with her hands interlocked, and her mind focused on the single point within her.
She harnessed the emotion that was continuously being expelled from her body as the dark memories accumulated her mind like parasites. A small glow of pink Ki radiated from her body as Wyntre stood with her arms flashing red and blue lights of power. It was a mere matter of time before Zexama would be able to match the same power. Her mind was soundless besides an urging darkness. The constant, painful screech of laughter. The laugh of a murderer.
This was her time. This was her time to prove herself worthy of existence. Slowly opening her eyes she glared at the attack that came flying towards her at an incredible speed. Without moving she watched as it blasted through the air at an amazing speed. As it approached a metre away from a blast of energy erupted from the child with pink and red light. Her eyes sparked to life with red light as her hand almost instantly raised in front of the attack.
From her right hand spiraled a candy-like structure that acted like as a shield. The candy spread around her and protected her from the attack as if it hardly affected her. The shield was not enough to completely repel the attack, however. The candy barrier melted to the ground before the purple ‘wave’ came shooting to the stronger Zexama. Crossing her arms together she was struck by the attack but stood her ground with ease. She was able to find the energy inside of her, and with that she had gotten stronger. A lot stronger.

Zexama was selfish, yes, and in more ways than she realised. But, this wasn't a bad thing. Wyntre and Zexama were alike in this manner. Why do people do good? This was a question that has been asked since before questions were really a thing. Why is there good? Why is there bad? Why do I feel this strange compulsion to give this small child food, rather than clobber it to death with a mallet? These sorts of questions plagued early philosophers across all known space for a very long time. The answer did not come through philosophical thought, however, the answer came through evolutionary biology. From an evolutionary standpoint, it was (usually) beneficial for resources to be attributed to those who could not gain it themselves. However, with the advent of that little trinket called 'free will', what was the best way to have resources be managed in such a way? Empathy. Generosity. Wishing well on others. Or, as a human racist might say, humanity. Bloody racist humans, making everything about them. Wyntre was not supposed to be the Empress of Arcose. She was the youngest child of Emperor Vetur, as well as the only daughter. It was almost as if reality itself conspired against her. It was almost as if— and Wyntre had thought this thought many times before— reality itself wanted the Arcosian Empire to fall. For, you see, Wyntre had two brothers by the names of Frigid and Gelid. One had the shortest straw in the genetic lottery, with an abysmal capability in intelligence and a complete disregard for politics (as well as a lack of object permanence) while the other was a hedonistic and vain fool who hadn't stepped out of his pleasure satellite in years. If either of them got in power... Wyntre shuddered at the thought. She was the best option, but an unlikely one. She saw a need and she did what had to be done. Perhaps this was an example of how the means justify the ends (a phrase she abhorred), perhaps not. Either way, the means were unpleasant. Two brothers, in a period of less than a month, dead. Both were her responsibility, one killed by her directly, but was it worth it? The point being, she became the Empress of Arcose not because she thought it would benefit her, but because she thought it would benefit the Empire. And, it did, at least for a while. She didn't know what quite to think of its condition at the moment. But, since this desire to help others was only caused by the mind's rewarding of generous behaviours, it was an entirely selfish act. Zexama, too, was selfish beyond belief. But not because she irresponsibly disregarded the health of others for a joke (although that certainly was a factor), it was because she cared. Yes, Wyntre was selfish, incredibly so. She wanted to save her friends. She wanted to restore peace and prosperity to Arcose and its rightful vassal planets. She wanted to have a big happy family. Was this too much to ask for? Yes, reality answered. Here's an evil space monkey blowing up your planet for good measure, reality continued. Oh, look, its happening again, finished reality. Well, then, if that was too much... how about the power to defeat the enemies of Arcose? Wyntre wanting Zexama stronger was a selfish desire, then. A flaw. A symbol of weakness... but, it didn't have to be perfect. She didn't have to be perfect. She had to be Empress Wyntre Cold of the Arcosian Empire... and, by her side, would stand Princess Zexama, the silly. Turtle Hermit Zexama, the Earthling. Warrior Zexama, the powerful and Zexama, the best friend an Empress in Exile could hope for. Other than the occasional (read: common) staff injuries, that is. ... What was this? This power! Where had it come from? Zexama's power had increased from an amount to another, much larger but not quite doubled amount! Where had this come from? Could this have been...? Yes, certainly. This was another form. Already, Zexama was reaching into parts of her soul she didn't know she had for more power. If such a transformation was caused by Wyntre deconstructing her behaviours with some taunts thrown in... well, just imagine the sort of power she'd gain, then, in true adversity. Imagine the sort of power she'd gain if an Empire rolled around and tried their hand at invasion. The plan was to awaken such power. The plan was to have Zexama achieve new power. But... could this have resulted in the possibility of a backfire? Tentatively, the plan could then be considered a success. Her attack, the Super Themis Wave, had been blocked. By candy, no less. Around Zexama, such things almost didn't surprise her. One of her most powerful techniques, blocked with some sugary confectionary. But, she didn't care about that for long. "Quite spectacular. Congratulations, Zexama. Truly, congratulations on this new power of yours." Those words together, in text, might look like that might have been sarcastic. It wasn't. She was serious on that part. "Did you have this power in you for a while? Did you have you wait for an opportunity to use it? Or did my remarks impact you that much? I apologise if what I had said had offended, my pink friend, but it had certainly been worth it."She changed her pose to be more reflective of the style she was trying to represent. "Going by the readings on my scouter, however, this battle wasn't been won yet. I've shown you my attack, how about you show me yours?"

The new power inside Zexama was surprising to both Wyntre and the little pink majin herself. But she felt uneasy within herself, hints of darkness came along with the new transformation. Could it be him? Could it be that Faltroshish, her evil self, was beginning to come back to life inside of her body? It was not long ago that he threatened to come back the next time Zexama was knocked out. The majin couldn’t think about it now though, it would only present a battle in her mind that she was not yet ready to fight. Unfortunately, Zexama was also very enthusiastic about fighting Wyntre in the gravity chamber right here and right now.
The constant strain of pushing against her body was starting to become more apparent as Zexama grew weaker mentally. While the memories and corrupted thought were beginning to leave her mind, she could sense her own mind starting to break anyway. Zexama bent her knees slightly against her will as the gravity of the chamber continuously pushed against her. Her form changed slightly as her power would significantly be reduced and the pink ki faded into the air. Her short-lived transformation was over, she had achieved the new power she was searching for but couldn’t deal with it.
”I think I have to...go lie down or something. Sorry.” Zexama slowly walked out of the Gravity Chamber with her eyes shut, trying to pinpoint what the hell was happening in her head. Walking up the stairs she could feel herself becoming a bit dizzy, she continued to walk up the stairs but now with her hands in front of her for increased support. When she got to her quarters she poked her head inside to scope the area. She had actually never been to her own room before, she would usually just to other people’s rooms or just… not sleep.
She dragged herself into the room and made her way to the bed. She was beginning to subtly limp making walking more difficult than it should be. Sitting on the side of the bed she could only hope that Faltroshish was not coming back. The last time he came back the majin completely defenseless without the help of her friends. That was the advantage that Zexama had over the dark evil inside of her. She had allies, friends that would help her fight her battles. Faltroshish, on the other hand, had no allies to fight with him, yet.
Zexama lay down and closed her eyes as her mind wandered away and she grew increasingly tired. She gave a short sigh before taking to her scouter that always had her back, or in this case, the side of her face. ”Night Night scouter, tomorrow we’ll leave Earth and make a difference. Does that sound good?” The scouter replied in a friendly tone as it too began to shut off. ”That sounds like a perfect idea Zex, see ya tomorrow then.” Before long Zexama drifted off into the world of dreams, filled with candy and junk food that stretched beyond the horizon, the true paradise.

She could feel the power flowing through her own veins. It was powerful, it was mesmerising, it was brilliant... but, she could also feel Zexama's power. it was different, yes: it was stronger than hers in some aspects but weaker in others, but it was different in other ways still. It wasn't just because she was a Majin, either, there was something strange that her Scouter was telling her. It was almost as if... it was almost as if, perhaps, Zexama wasn't the only one in that head of hers. "Are— are you all right?" It was a rhetorical question, though. Wyntre know that the Majin was most certainly not all right. "The gravity shouldn't be impacting you this much."Wyntre powered down as her body changed once again. All that had been done to get from her Mastered True Form to her Royal Form reversed: what to a racist might have seemed like a 'cobra head thing' changed back into to its original state, became slightly less than 1.7x smaller (a considerable shift in size, really), and had an also considerable change in bio-armor design. She dropped her fighting stance entirely as she watched Zexama leave the room. "Have a nice night, then." She hoped that Zexama didn't have a cold. Could Majins even get sick? Regardless of whether or not Majins in general could get sick, whether or not Zexama could get sick or not was another question entirely, given how different she was to normal Majins. If such a thing were to happen— well, Wyntre could have her leave the ship for a while. Imagine if, with only one sneeze, she turned the ship— perhaps all of Bamboo Forest— into candy. The Rightful Empress of Arcose shuddered at the thought. But, alas, she recognised, what was going on was most certainly nothing to do with a mere cold. No, it was far greater than that. Far darker. Hmm.She was thinking too much into what was most likely Zexama's senseless drama. She came in here to train, so she was most certainly going to do that. "Computer, I'd like to train. Challenge me. Surprise me."And so, as her perception of reality faded away and was reforged into Maeve-knows-what, she was left with some final thoughts. I sure do wish Zexama doesn't try to take over any planets while keeping me asleep in here with a simulation of a chess/fine wine festival after I inevitably fall asleep. Except, she didn't think that, because that would be power-gaming as heck.

As the Gravity was only mentioned literally once in the IC text, nowhere in the OOC notes or thread title, as it should be, and the fact that I've told you to make it a little more obvious in my past grades for your threads, I cannot give you gravity gains for this thread. Sorry.
