(This thread is using the level 3 house and Gravity x20)
Quite some time had passed since the incident with Jala. He'd not seen her, for a bit, as she'd been hired to do a job off world... At least, that's what she told him and Gira after leaving the BBA building in Central. Pieter was hoping to get her to meet up with Maeve, so that they could get some words of wisdom, but Pieter knew the Kami enough that she'd been incredulously busy with both being a mother and the current Kami! With the time limit Jala gave him, he had to give her a threat about fighting against her if she did what she did again... That exchange didn't go very well, even though it ended peacefully.
At this point, Pieter had been meandering in his house, trying to get his personal thoughts and the house figured out. On top of that, the Gravity chamber had been installed, too. Outside at the opposite side of the gravity chamber, there'd been a garage/workshed for Pieter to keep his old school, yet brand new gardening tools and any tools to fix the house and the machines inside should something break. That place was going to be his friend out here in the Gizard Wastelands, and not to mention a lifetime warranty, too, on the items he got! He wasn't about to live in an area where the wildlife was still wild and not be able to fix any damages either they or he or even both did. It also had the convenience of becoming a capsule, like the house and the gravity chamber attachments, should he decide to move elsewhere.
"Why do some people have to be rougher than a ton of bricks," Pieter thought aloud, trying to wrap his mind around every single individual he'd met so far, "I probably shouldn't be ranting about this, being guilty of it myself, but the crap I've had to deal with some of them has been absolutely bonkers..! Jala's got one of the worser parts of that, but she's at least got the ability to smooth out if she at least gave thought to not doing the things she does... I swear, I wonder what drives that woman to act so wild at times, and I'm the guy people like that Vivian android call a damn pervert because they're apparently not familiar that some of the Karinga tribesman that I AM PART OF walk around like this! If anything, they should be more wary of the tribesman who're cannibals..."
Pieter was in the living room, a towel draped over his shoulder while holding an end with the hand on the same side. He had been standing outside the gravity chamber door, which had only been about 3 feet away from the stairwell leading up to his bedroom. The way the house had been designed was that there was a small pathway linking the gravity chamber to the house, like that of a tunnel. He opened the door and went down the small, lit hallway to a hefty metal door with a speaker port to the side of it with a computer panel on it.
"Computer, please set a timer for the gravity chamber's locks for thirty minutes after the phrase, 'I am ready,' is stated," Pieter spoke in a commanding tone. The computer simply beeped, as the heavy door churned to life and slung open towards Piet. He stepped in, the door following slowly behind him.
The room had a mostly white color to it, with some exercising equipment on the opposite end of the room. Mainly weights varying from fifty to one hundred fifty pounds. There were 2 central windows that nearly would've been 1 had the room been designed that way. It was to offer some natural light to the room, as well as give Pieter and/or anyone else in the room sight of those who'd be going into the room. To the left of the door, there was a keyboard and 3d digital screen that came out of a wall panel to the left of the door, detailing what would be done in the room. A big timer written as, '30:00:00,' was the first visible thing, as well as the following right below it: Gravity setting= Default (1). There was also the word, 'TEST, boldly below the gravity setting in the corner.
Pieter tapped where it said Default (1), the number disappearing in front of him the a, '|,' flickering, waiting for Pieter to start typing.
"Ok... Let's see how ten times goes," Pieter thought aloud, putting in 10 before hitting the test icon. The room hummed, a machine coming from atop the room and shooting out a field that washed over the room like a car wash. He tossed the towel down from his person before hands going to his hips to see how he would react. Surely, his body felt heavier, but it was a familiar sensation. He muttered, "Hmm... This feels like that strange event I felt on King Kai's planet while tending to his garden..."
He flattened his lips and frowned. He tapped the test icon again, disengaging the gravity field. The 10 from before vanished, allowing Pieter to double up the pressure. He hit the test button again, hands going to hips once more as the gravitational field washed over again... This time, Pieter was buckling under the pressure, squatting painfully to resist the pressure!
"Ok, ya! This'll do it," Pieter grunted through gritting teeth, before shouting out, "Computer, I am Ready!"
