[Power Level: 245,675] [Started During Full Moon] [Suppression Active]
In the depths of space, a saiyan attack ball tore through the cosmos, heading for the red jewel it’s inhabitant called home. Vennel’s eyes opened, as she was roused from her brief stasis, the improved propulsion system on her pod making the trip much quicker despite leaving a good deal of time after her ally who she’d tried to sync her arrival with. Even still, it seemed she’d arrive a bit before her, though not by much. Her power was suppressed to hide her own power, and the stealth systems on her pod were engaged in order to better hide her arrival. No doubt a powerful arrival on Vegeta would be noticed, and she felt it best not to alert them any better than she needed. No doubt I’ll garner enough attention as it is once I make it through customs. Her thoughts dwelled on the possibilities of what may happen upon her arrival, and she’d soon find out for herself. A flashing light on the console of her pod alerted her to the ten second count down before arrival. “ Home sweet home…” She spoke to herself, the quietness of her new pod almost disturbingly so. She had grown accustomed to her old pod, and the racket it made when traveling, due to it’s deplorable condition. But this new pod, never before used, was so quiet she had forgotten she was traveling when she first woke up. 3… 2… 1.. IMPACTAnd with a simple shudder, the pod colided with the shock pad of one of the receiving docks at the Cacumber space port. She could hear the sound of gasses escaping, as her pod depressurized before the hatch opened up. The light of her home world almost felt blindingly brilliant as her eyes slowly adjusted to the familiar sunlight. As her eyes finally regulated, she found herself greeted by a pair of dock workers, a saiyan and a zoon. The former stood at roughly six-feet, with short hair that stood on end, in traditional saiyan fashion. He wore a basic set of D-Series RIT armor, with elongated shoulder pads and three cerise that covered his hips and groin. The Zoon was clad similarly, standing just a foot shorter than his saiyan counterpart. “ Greetings er- wait, this can’t be right.” The zoon looked at his data pad as he read off the docking proceedures while the saiyan peered over his shoulder, his curiosity piqued by his companion’s confusion. Vennel pulled herself out, fastening her new purple scouter over her eye. She’d gotten the new lense at the same time she’d gotten her modified armor from Kaza, with the royal crest emblazoned over her left breast in a sign of loyalty to the Empire. “ Come on, it can’t be that- wait, yeah what the hell?” “ You see what I mean?” The dock manager glanced up at Vennel before looking back at the electronic doccumentation he was reviewing. “ I’m sorry miss, there seems to be a malfunction. The data here says you’re a deceased member of the Empire. The false queen that Zucceta dethroned, to be in fact.” Vennel grinned, so she’d been written off as dead? She’d wondered what her official status was within the Empire these days. And so here it was. “ I guess you’re right. It must be a malfunction. Because I’m very much still alive.” The saiyan then let out a hearty laugh in response to her words. “ Oh sure, and I’m Queen Habana myself. Hahaha.” This reaction drew a scowl from the woman, her body language shifting to one that struck fear into the larger man before he quickly seemed to express his apologies silently. Vennel glanced around, the space port seemed to be bustling with service members assisting returning warriors, or preparing larger vessels for their own journeys. It made sense, given what she’d learned abroad about the Empire preparing for war. But what troubled her most was seeing the odd Dirtling vessel here or there, as if they could just roam their world whenever they pleased. “ Tell me, where do I have to go to remedy this clerical error.” The male of her species seemed to timid now to respond, so his alien compatriot spoke up in his stead. “ Right, well, if you are who you say you are, it should be a simple matter. Just head to the capital building or a recruiting office and see, er, someone that can help. We can’t do anything on our-” Raising her arm, Vennel caused the aliens words to fall silent in his mouth. She understood that they couldn’t fix the issue themselves, more than likely lacking the basic clearance to do so. Grunts, no more, no less. “ Very well.” Vennel then made her way from the docks, leaving her pod behind to be processed as the two goons were responsible for doing in every other manner. She remembered where the building was, and she’d need to get things cleared up as soon as she could. But, before leaving the docks, she wanted to wait for the Majin to arrive. She wouldn’t be far behind, and she’d like to see what business Kaza had on the saiyan home world. Perhaps they’d have similar destinations, or even the majin might have her own destination, but they could make their way to each on their own.

Sundavr wandered idly through the city. Now that she had joined the empire (acquiring a rather nice set of armor in doing so - she thought it was very nice of them to have given it to her) and had a nice little training session with Purika, she wasn't sure what she wanted to do with the free time presently available to her. She had yet to be given any orders or anything like that, so she'd decided to just sort of meander around. Eventually, she ended up in the space port. As she stepped in, she noticed someone else wearing armor like hers, except pink and with what she now recognized as the empire's insignia on its breast. She wouldn't have paid them much more attention, except the ki she sensed from them was almost non-existent. She stared at them, frowning in confusion. The empire wouldn't let someone that weak bear that insignia, would they? That'd be ridiculous. Resolving to solve this mystery, she approached the woman. "Excuse me, ma'am, but... who are you?" she asked, complete bewilderment evident in her voice. "I'm sorry if I should recognize you, I'm really new, but... well..." she paused, struggling to find a polite way to put it, then giving up. "Well... I mean no offense, but you can't really be as weak as you feel, can you? You wouldn't be wearing that symbol if you were..."

Finally, Kaza had left that sandy shithole known as Konats. A planet she initially went to to blindly rampage on the population, had turned into one of the most important turning points in her life. The planet itself left a nasty impression on her, with how annoyingly hot and dull everything was. Yet the people there, everyone she met, the ones that had helped her turn into this 'New' version of herself. Kaza never even considered something like that to happen...
Yet here she was, having finally found trustworthy allies, and people that respected her company.
Kaza couldn't have been happier, honestly.
Returning to Vegeta felt great, like she was finally back home after those months. Kaza had just been standing there infront of the gigantic window of her control room, admiring the familiar sights and nostalgic feelings.
''Good to be back...~ Ship, prepare landing procedures, would'ya?''
Two audible beeps from her ship later, it began to slow down and steadily make its way toward the landing docks of the Saiyan Capitol. It felt bittersweet, really. Kaza was home, yet her home was being ruled by people she quite truthfully didn't support. Kaza had her loyalties with another Saiyan. Vennel, the one who was really fit to rule, in her eyes. Of course, Kaza didn't have the biggest size of Saiyans to sample from. But Vennel had proven time and time again to be a capable leader, and a Saiyan who really stuck to their traditional idealogy.
Her ship slowly came to a whirring stop as the jets powered down, the landing supports escaping her ship's hull and allowing it to stand on the docks. Kaza hopped out with an excited, nostalgic smile on her face, making her way down the landing path where an alien approached her.
''Good day. Hold on for a sec' while I get your ships info, please...''
Kaza briefly nodded, folding her arms. Her eyes looked all around her surroundings, curiously taking them in again.
''Alright, Kaza. Says here you left for Konats recently...'' His eyes narrowed suspiciously, as if he was onto something. ''What did you do there?'' He asked.
Kaza cracked a half-smile, raising an eyebrow at the suspicious guy. ''Made sure they meant no harm toward the Empire, with what's been happening recently and all.''
''...And? I don't think low-ranking soldiers like you are allowed to go out on their own accord...''
Kaza merely shrugged, waving a dismissive hand toward the dock worker. ''Well, then I'll get punished later or whatever. S'none of your business, pal.''
A low grumble was all the response Kaza got before she simply walked past him. The Majin didn't have time for this shit. What she did there wasn't a secret, it's not like she did anything to harm the Empire on Konats. If anything, she was helping it. But bothering to explain that to someone who was only there to keep her ship docked? Yeah, no thanks.
Kaza would much rather report to someone with some actual stature here. Plus, she was impatient- Kaza had promised she'd meet with Vennel here, so she wanted to be quick about it.
It wouldn't be long until she saw Vennel's figure pop out from the crowd. That rad armor she'd designed herself, and that lively tuft of brown hair made her stand out quite a bit to Kaza. She quickened her pace a bit, a friendly smile forming on her face as she approached her comrade. ''Eeeyyy, you're here!'' Kaza greeted her, before noticing another majin right next to her. A ridiculously weak one, at that. ''...Well that's disappointing...'' A suspicious look grew on Kaza's face, her quick pace suddenly halting. She'd just barely overheard what this person of her race said, Kaza snorting mockingly in response with folded arms. ''You don't exactly feel all too powerful yourself, pal.''
''Anyway, who are you? Guess I should be somewhat curious since we're the same race n' all...'' Kaza rambled in a somewhat unimpressed, suspicious tone. She certainly didn't like the way this complete stranger had approached Vennel, much less how weak this one actually was... ''Ya'know, judging by your rudeness...I'm assuming you're new here, or somethin'?''
Her tone made it obvious enough that she wasn't exactly all that excited about all of this...

It had been so long since she’d been in this space port, she forgot how it felt. Whether surrounded by eager low class warriors going off into the depths of space to conquer some alien world, or by mobs of alien merchants hauling goods baring the seal of the Empire. None seemed to pay her much mind, though a couple glances here and there as people noted her high grade armor. She had to admit, Kaza had outdone herself. The saiyan hadn’t expected her gained knowledge from Breech to be quite so impressive. She was still her, but she was far more intelligent than she’d been before. And it showed in her craftsmanship in her equipment. However, one alien in particular seemed to notice the woman, her gaze lingering longer than the others’. A grey “skinned” majin woman. Am I just a magnet for majin girls? The armor clad alien then approached Vennel, she seemed more curious than anything as she asked question after question. Asking about who she was, if she was as weak as she was letting on, and if she was permitted to wear the emblem on her chest. Vennel’s arms folded as she leaned back against one of the walls of the interior of the docks. Cocking her brow at the girl, she replied glibly. “ Maybe I’m some spoiled brat noble’s kid, and I don’t take kindly to weaklings bothering me. Then I’d have my father ship you off to the farthest flung reaches of the galaxy to live out your days ‘defending’ the empire. Maybe I’m just a soldier who doesn’t feel the need to brag about their meager power. Or, maybe I’m just some low class trash who managed to kill an elite and steal their armor.” She glanced over the majin, feeling her own power as low as it was. But instead she decided to make the point more abundant and reached up for her scouter. Tapping the button to start scanning. Four digits. That’s all she had. Vennel suppressed a chuckle, her hand jumping up to cover her mouth as she turned her head away slightly. Her eyes were wide with the sort of sadistic glee you’d expect of a pretentious elite, belittling someone they saw as trash. But before she could continue to tease the majin, she heard Kaza’s voice call out to her from across the crowd. Vennel’s eyes snapped up to see the approaching periwinkle power house. As her companion came closer, she took care of most of the insults, more so than Vennel probably would have. Not because she didn’t agree, but because she didn’t feel that it would be worth her time to do so. The saiyan was content to merely poke fun at the majin, at least she could get some amusement out of her if she were gullible enough to think any of her suppositions were true. Kaza inquired if the girl was new, and Vennel nodded. “ She does seem to be, yes. She said she was new and wondered if I was strong enough to wear the Imperial Crest.” Turning her attention back to the weaker of the two girls, she tilted her head to one side, her expression betraying her contemptuous feelings toward the girl. “ So whats it matter to you who I am? Are you what passes for security these days?” Venne’s lips pulled away to reveal a toothy grin as she finished speaking, wondering how the alien would react. A little prodding should be enough to bait out some sort of response.

The majin's mouth turned down into a pout. "Well you don't ha-" she began, before freezing as she felt an absolutely massive - from her perspective - Power approaching. She turned just as Kaza commented on her own low power, and her shoulders sagged. "how?" she whispered, a bit hoarsely. "How'd she get so strong? ...How the fuck am I ever going to get that strong?" she muttered, stunned. She didn't even consider the possibility of not reaching Kaza's level - now that she knew that people that strong existed, it was a foregone conclusion. She needed to reach that level herself. It had to happen. Her cheeks grew slightly red when she was asked if she was security, but shook her head. "No, I actually joined earlier this week. I haven't been assigned a job yet... so I'm just sort of getting to know the city while I wait to be given one." she said, somewhat embarrassed. She was really still a nobody, and when she thought about it, had been rather stupid to even approach someone wearing that insignia, much less ask a question like that.

''Strong enough to wear th-...?'' She mimicked what Vennel said, her tone dumbfounded. Halfway through, though, Kaza couldn't help but force out a raspy, breathly laugh. A hand moved infront of her mouth, eyebrows perking up, obviously trying to hold in her own laughter. Kaza coughed, clearing her throat with an amused look. ''Oh my god that is precious!'' She let out, eyes darting over toward the other Majin, trying her best to calm herself and behave.
Kaza fixed her posture, and noticed just how astounded she was by Kaza's own strength, even voicing her blatant unconfidence. Kaza's face scrunched up as a result, a single eyebrow raising in weird curiosity. Kaza let out a brief sigh, shaking her head in disapproval.
''If my power is messin' with your brain try drinking this in,'' Kaza cocked her arm up, her thumb gesturing towards Vennel. ''I hate to admit it, but compared to the Saiyan, I'm a complete wimp.'' Kaza began to explain, some weird sense of pride nearly keeping her from admitting the comical power-gap between Vennel and herself. Her 'Saiyan-Side' had really begun to take over lately, and Kaza herself began to notice this...The change starting when she absorbed that diabolical Doctor, Breech. ''She could destroy us without a second thought.'' Kaza said in a low, ominous tone. She wanted to make sure this Majin realized just how badly she had underestimated the Saiyan before her.
An awkward, drawn out silence washed over the group briefly, Kaza's eyes glaring into the strange Majin's..Was she up to something?
''PFFFTHAHAHA!'' Kaza suddenly bursted out, leaning over and putting her hands on her own knees. She quickly flicked away a tear, obviously having a lot of fun fucking with this new recruit. ''Nah, nah- she won't. Y'know, probably.'' Kaza returned to her normal tone, waving a hand dismissively for a brief moment.
''Anyway,'' The Majin let out, trying to bring some seriousness back into the conversation. Jokes and pulling pranks on newbies was fun and all, but that wasn't really why she continued to give this stranger any attention in the first place. ''You said you were new here, yeah?'' Kaza asked rhetorically, her arms folding once more with a suspicious, stern look on her face. ''So you're not from around these parts, obviously...''
Kaza continued to give the strange Majin a stern look. She only had a single, crucial question for the Majin.
''Why did you join the Empire?''
Her tone was low and suspicious, and even for someone as innocent-looking as Kaza, it sounded very intimidating.
Depending on the answer, Kaza would know enough about her personality and goals. Kaza wasn't stupid- she knew damn well that her people were addicted to power. Plus, it was hard to assume some strange Non-Saiyan would join their empire because they value the Saiyan ideals...There was something very, very fishy about this.
Kaza saw no need for unloyal leeches in their ranks.

The Zoon that “greeted” the female in elite garb, was still hung up on the confusing revelation. If this woman really was the same false queen that Zucceta removed…might letting her have free roam of the city come back to haunt him or worse? Queen Habana was off world, but the Commander just made her return. It was likely wise to contact her and let her know about the knew arrival.
”Put me through to the Commander, it is urgent.” He requested through the dockside com station. After waiting a moment for the Commander’s personal channel to be connected, he spoke again and to his credit, his voice remained steady.
”Commander Shemha. Forgive me, but something requires your attention.” He started and then paused to make sure that the connection was successful.
”What is it?” Came the short reply. The Majin was still in her ship, not having had the chance to return to her personal quarters since her return to Vegeta. It hadn’t even been a full hour yet.
The dockworker went on to quickly explain the situation on hand and provide the name of the Saiyan. Vennel’s history was of course known to many in the SSE, but Shemha wasn’t one of its long time members. With her loyalty relatively new in the grand scheme of things, she recognized the name, but honestly held her opinion in reserve. If this Saiyan was who she said she was, then she would cast her judgment from a fresh perspective.
”Thank you for contacting me. I shall be there shortly.” The Majin decided to see for herself. After the short statement the line went dead and the Zoon was left blinking at his console. As for Shemha, she rose from her captains chair and headed for the loading door of her ship. A simple telepathic message directed Meridia to accompany her.
In short order the two were in the air and it only took minutes before the docks came into view. While she remained at full power, her natural state, she approached with casual speed. This arrival had its implications, but none of them were immediately alarming. There was no need to blast across the sky like Xylo himself were on Vegeta.
Scouter secure over her left eye, a single tap activated it. Numbers scrolled across the small screen and unexpectedly, the strongest signature to appear turned out not to be that of an ex-queen, but a Majin. Not to mention one she did not recognize. Curiosity peaked, suspicion joined the mix when a second Majin signature and a signature of one appeared near the first.
”Hmmm.”
She was right to investigate this. As the dock area came into view she zeroed in on those signatures, able to pick the trio out thanks to its dual Majin composition. The Saiyan amongst them wore the armor of an elite even if what Shemha’s scouter displayed did not support it. Able to suppress her own power though, she rarely took others at face value. She wasted little time starting the conversation as she touched down several yards from the group.
”I see Saiyan armor, but I do not recognize the faces that accompany it.” She calmly stated as her bare feet pressed to the concrete. Softly glowing eyes scanned the three of them, before she formally introduced herself.
”I am Shemha, Commander of the Solar Saiyan Empire and this is my companion, Meridia.” She stated as one hand casually motioned to the demon that set down beside her. For her part Meridia wore a playful smile as she dipped into a light curtsy. Unlike the evaluative scan that Shemha performed, the demon looked the trio over with a different glint in her eyes.
”Might I ask your names?” Shemha asked figuring it was polite to start there before she grilled them for the reasons behind their presence on Vegeta. No matter what a data pad might say about any affiliation to the Empire, she planned to inquire herself.

The weaker majin, who’d come up and approached Vennel, seemed to have lost all sense of self worth shortly after being questioned. Or maybe it was simply as soon as Kaza arrived. She began to mutter to herself while she stopped reacting to outward stimuli. And by the time Kaza had reacted to Vennel’s words, her comrade had continued to tell the grey skinned majin about Vennel’s power. It made the warrior snicker as she ominously said that the saiyan woman could ‘destroy us all.’
It was quickly dismissed by the time the gray skinned one talked about how she’d just joined up earlier that very same weak.
A new recruit, huh?
Kaza took it upon herself to ask why the girl joined. Vennel wondered much the same thing, seeing as the Empire once was a bastion for military might. And if this was something they let enlist, something that even Prince Luffa could have squashed, how far had the Empire slid into decline.
Before Vennel could speak, however, something new caught her attention. It was a huge power level, and it was coming their way. Her hand reached instinctively toward her scouter, tapping the side of it as it seemed to scan all the dock workers, until finally a huge number rolled across it. Seven digits. Either a Saiyan who was transformed was coming their way, or it was another of the aliens in the Empire who’d attained a more powerful form of their own.
And sure enough, the newcomer touched down not far from them. Another majin. It seemed the Empire had acquired a great number of them, if she’d met two more so soon after returning. Still, Kaza proved worthy of the monicker ‘soldier,’ amidst their ranks, maybe this one did as well.
She held her composure well, this red skinned one, as if she were someone important, despite the lack of armor. She spoke plainly, and as if she would have recognized them if they’d be around much. Not wasting much time, she introduced herself as the commander of the Imperial military. The Empire was now giving it’s highest position to an Alien? Were there no Saiyans that were strong enough or proved themselves to the Imperial cause? This was ridiculous.
Shemha, as she introduced herself, also introduced another, a horned woman, which seemed to be a shared trait among the two. However, this other one, while powerful, wasn’t what concerned Vennel. The Majin was just a smidge stronger than her own ascended form, but that didn’t concern her. After all, she’d killed Cipher, and he far out powered Shemha. What did concern her, was that she was being asked for her name. Ironic, as Vennel had meant to avoid detection by those who held an office of import, and here she was, being interrogated by the second highest position in the Empire.
Vennel pushed herself off the wall she was leaning on, and let her arms fall to her sides. She locked eyes with the majin, noting the faint glow to her eyes, a trait she’d not seen in other majin thus far. Perhaps it was a sign of her power, or maybe a side effect of something more. The brown haired woman spoke clearly and to the point.
“You may ask, but I imagine it would be more a matter of courtesy. Isn’t that right? I do hope I’m not mistaken, it would be a shame to find out the Empire has fallen so far as to resort to using it’s commander as a common patrol officer.”
Vennel’s facial expression shifted, from playful grin to stoic seriousness. There were so many things she didn’t approve of happening so far, her initial analysis of the Empire proved true. It was in decline, or had to be. Why else would the right hand of the monarch be an alien, much less one that stopped to inspect anyone wearing elite garb. Heck, Vennel knew that wasn’t the real reason she was here. She was just paying them a courtesy, as she saw it, no doubt. But it seemed a greater disrespect to beat around the bush in a conversation like this. Especially if you were dealing with an elite.
“Vennel.”
She spoke plainly, not wanting to mince words. She’d given the alien her name, even if she might regret it later. It was only a matter of time before this sort of happenstance took place, even if it were far sooner than she’d hoped.
“So, you decided to come find the anomalous arrival at the space port mere seconds after arrival. And what’s more you do so with backup. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’d come to detain us.”
Her facial expression was a mix of disgust and conceit as her lip curled upward and her brow furrowed. If the majin commander weren’t here to detain or interrogate, then Vennel sure would enjoy hearing what she had to say.

Purika walked down a particularly busy as usual street of the capital, headed towards the bar which his friend owned, usually going there to get a drink or a good meal when he felt like it. He made his way through the crowd that walked up and down the street, his power level being suppressed to that of the average saiyan man, eventually making it to the entrance of the building after a few minutes of walking from his home. Right as he was about to go in, he started to sense two high powers near each other that were close to him. One of the signatures felt familiar... he tried to pinpoint who it belonged too, finally recognizing that it was Shemha he was sensing! There was another weaker person there, and the other person that he was sensing felt familiar too, belonging to someone he met only a few days ago that joined his squad, Sundavr the Majin.
Purika wondered what they were doing, his finger hovering over the button that opened the bar door as he looked towards where he was sensing them at. Purika sighed before he lowered his hand back to his side. "I'll just come back after I see what's going on." Purika thought to himself as his crimson aura started to wrap around him as he started to look upwards before springing forward into the air, rocketing towards the location of the group he was sensing. When he got closer to where they were located, he looked down to see some people standing near each other alongside a pod that was on a shock pad in a spaceport. Purika grinned as he folded his arms, his aura dispersing as he descended down onto the ground next to the group.
"What's going on here?" Purika said as his eyes scanned the group, noticing that the only saiyan in the group beside him's power level was pretty low. Her armor bore the symbol of the Saiyan Solar Empire as well, Purika coming to a conclusion that her power level was suppressed since he couldn't sense much from her. Kaza was here too, and she got pretty strong since the last time he'd seen her, and by quite a bit. She was making some good progress at an alarming rate, which meant that she had quite a lot of potential, which would prove useful to the Empire.

The majin's shoulders sank even lower as Kaza claimed that Vennel could destroy them all with ease, seeming almost to reach the floor. Why had she ever left her house? She'd been just fine not knowing about people who were so ridiculously strong. Now she had to find a way to get that strong and she just knew it would take decades! Sundavr proceeded to squeak quietly at the threatening delivery of Kaza's question. She had a feeling "I just felt like it" wouldn't be a suitable answer, so she spent a moment wracking her brain for a better one. She did like everyone from the organization she'd met so far, present company excluded, and the idea of an entire empire of fierce warriors was very appealing to the majin fighter; battles were just about her favorite activity, aside from eating chocolate. She took a deep breath. "I support the ideals it stands for, and wish to prove myself worthy" she said, and almost immediately the thought popped up in the back of her mind that that sounded ridiculous. But it was fairly close to her actual thoughts on the subject, so she was okay with it. Sundavr spun around as she sensed another powerful warrior approaching, and she recognized Commander Shemha - she'd spent some time poking around some military facilities, and had seen a poster that was fairly accurate. Her hand flew to her forehead in a salute. "I'm... uh... Sundavr, Ma'am!" she said, forgetting her actual rank and the protocols for greeting the commander - whatever those might have been - amidst the shock of actually meeting the commander of the saiyan empire's military. The majin was in for another surprise as she noticed her squad leader approaching, and she turned and waved to him. "Hey Puri!" she said, waving and completely ignoring the possibility of greeting him in a dignified manner - he was just her squad leader. Though she did choke slightly when she sensed his power. He'd never been at full power around her before, and the revelation that he, too, was miles above her was slightly jarring. Was everyone there just a god compared to her or something?!

”The Commander does as she pleases.” Shemha responded without hesitation and a steady stare. Informed of the duos arrival, it was her choice to investigate. Only Habana had the authority and enough of the Majin’s respect to tell her what to do these days. Before her absorption of Walker she listened to just about anyone who resembled a rank higher than her, no longer.
As the Saiyan gave her name, the Majin’s expression remained as neutral as ever. The confirmation combined with the female’s assumption that this might be in an effort to detain her all pointed that she was the Vennel. The fact that one who once challenged Zucceta for her throne had returned intrigued the Commander. Why now? Why when this new threat presented itself before the Empire? Her naturally suspicious nature wondered if there was something behind this less then coincidental. For now she would remain polite and cordial.
While the Elite held her composure well, the two Majins seemed unprepared for their high ranked kin’s appearance, excitable even. Unfamiliar with either of them on a personal level, she sent small nods to each as they gave their names. Innately Kaza interested her more simply because Shemha was unsure how such a powerful soldier went unnoticed until now. What planet had she returned from? She planned to do some digging later and find out.
A moment away from revealing if she was here to drag one or more of them to a barracks, she held off as Purika arrived on the scene. Surprised at his arrival, thinking she was the only one the dock contacted in regards to it, a sidelong glance was all he received as he questioned what the meaning of the meeting was. Shemha had this under control and frankly, he wasn’t needed. However, he was welcome to observe if he chose. As long as he didn’t interfere.
”Business, no, they have no business here save the right to exercise their own free will. My purpose is far more official than that.” Shemha began before her eyes shifted to rest back on Vennel.
”While I am aware of your past transgressions, I have no intention of detaining you or hindering your movements on Vegeta. Unless you give me reason to of course. However, you specifically are the reason that I am here. Regardless of your desire to remain low profile, your name reached me via a concerned dock worker and I had to see for myself if his words were true. It isn’t every day that a warrior who once called herself Queen steps foot on Vegeta.”
She was unaware if the others knew who she was nor did she care. As it was her own understanding of Vennel’s history was spotty at best, but she did know how it ultimately ended. If Zucceta still sat on the throne this would likely have gone down very differently. Unsure of Habana’s view on Vennel, Shemha wished to question the elite from a fresh perspective. Considering Zucceta abandoned her post as Queen, Vennels options were not so limited as they might otherwise have been.
”Admittedly I am relatively new to the position of Commander, yet I am not new to the Empire. Where is it you two have been?” Shemha asked of the both of them. Sure she could check the records, but why not let them have a chance to provide her with the information first?

Vennel held her posture, as she eyed over Shemha. She could tell that, just like her, she was being sized up as well. Shemha’s power could be felt by Vennel, and she wondered, if they were to fight, just how that would go down, given the majin’s durable bodies. But if it could be avoided, the saiyan would prefer not to brawl so soon after arriving. Not because she was afraid to, but because she’d rather keep just how strong she was under wraps for now. Not until she knew how powerful the new queen was, would she display how powerful she was.
The others spoke to one another, their voices going in one ear and out the other. Vennel couldn’t care less about the fledgling soldier or the saiyan male that had arrived. His power was above average, true. However he had no sense about him. He poked his nose into business that didn’t concern him. The young woman as well, bothered those she had no purpose in disturbing. If they just wanted a show, or to ask about how strong someone was, they could check, scouters were invented for such a purpose after all. And if they weren’t fighting someone, then if someone’s power wasn’t that high, it was clearly none of their business to know just how strong that person was.
Her thoughts on the subject ended at that, her mind was swirling about possible outcomes from this encounter. But her face remained just as poised as ever. Kaza’s confusion over Vennel’s past was soon put to rest, however, when the commander spoke specifically about that. The cat was out of the bag, not that it was much of a secret. Though, “transgressions,” wasn’t the sort of word the woman would use to describe her actions.
The words that Shemha spoke seemed as though they could have been directed at Vennel. But the saiyan knew better. If she were speaking purely to Vennel then the need for exposition was gone. This wasn’t an explanation for her actions. It was a declaration to those around just who Vennel was. She was blowing up her spot. One nugget of information that Vennel took away from Shemha’s words, as her eyes narrowed, was that a former Queen being on Vegeta was not a common occurance.
Zucceta isn’t here.
She knew word would reach those in charge sooner or later, after all, even that Zoon quickly took note of just who she was. What she didn’t expect was that she’d not make it to the military head offices before being picked out of the literal crowd.
It did seem that this woman, Shemha, was new to her position. Which meant the rumors she’d heard were correct. The previous Commander was the one picked to lead her people. She wanted to know where they had been. It was either a chance to test their loyalties, by answering honestly or not, or a subtle accusation.
“The call went out to members of the Empire, did it not? For members of our mighty people to report to our home world in preparation for a war? Is it standard protocol to question everyone who answers that call?”
Her gaze remained as always, unwavering from the crimson skinned majin. Something about the woman, her delicately worded accusations, her posture- she was every bit the commander she would have to be, to command the respect of not only the aliens of the empire, but also their saiyan masters. Vennel could understand why this woman held her position, second only to the most honorable positions among her people.
But one thing the former queen could not shake was the fact that this felt highly irregular. The commander could have approached her at any time. If she came to her so soon, she must have thought Vennel a serious threat. But given the, admittedly, lacking back-up she was sporting, it felt as though she were underestimating Vennel. But how she held herself so confidently, and as powerful as she was, she didn’t get that far by underestimating people. Then it hit her.
Are they really this hard up for capable warriors?
“We were on Konats, until recently. I came here as soon as I could, to respond to our monarch’s bidding. Now I need to rectify these foolish rumors that I could be dead. I suppose I should be thankful the commander herself came to clear up that mistake. Truly an honor.”
Her eyes softened ever so slightly, though they still clung tightly to the air of smug satisfaction that drenched her words.
Now, how will she respond?
Her thoughts turned toward what might happen next. As far as she could tell, the rest of the world didn’t exist, but in all honesty, it had it’s eyes on her. As the group stood amidst the growing crowd of onlookers. The crowd had begun to gather shortly after Shemha’s arrival, given that she’d stopped an unassuming warrior. But after her words, the crowd grew larger, as the rumors spread of the commander throwing down with a former queen. Some were disappointed to find nothing resembled being “thrown down,” here. Though, some still lingered, remembering Vennel from her short stint as Queen, and others merely wondering what Shemha would do.

Purika stood in the spaceport, curious as to what was going on here. As he stood with his arms folded, his eyes turned their attention to his new squad member, Sundavr, as she greeted him. "Hey." Purika said to her, now turning his head towards Kaza as she questioned him on what he was doing here, adding in some other comments that Purika didn't really care about. "I'm here because I sensed that my squad member here," He said while pointing to Sundavr for a brief second by the use of his thumb so he didn't have to unfold his arms before continuing. "was by a rather strong power, so I came to see what was going on." He stated, replying to her question. Now he noticed that Kaza had undergone a small personality change, which could've happened because of a few things, one of them being that she'd hung around someone a bit too much or the most reasonable option, absorbed somebody.
He also noticed that she was a ton stronger than when he saw her last time, which caused him to further speculate that she absorbed someone. Now he listened as she spoke to the commander about him and his squad member, sundavr, having any business here. What he sensed earlier was that his squad member got here before the commander, so what the hell was she on about? Purika could also be wherever the fuck he wanted, save for when the area was restricted or it was very important. He didn't intend on listening to whatever the fuck they had to say, only the most specific subjects he would listen in on. For right now he could care less what they were talking about unless it involved him
For right now he could care less what they were talking about unless it involved him and his well-being. Shemha gave an answer to her question, causing Purika to develop a smirk on his face because of her reply. "Kaza, I know the commander just got here and my squad member arrived before that. If it was business already planned for I suspect that the commander would've arrived here much quicker." Purika said, taking in a breath of air after talking, preparing to continue on and leave that subject behind. "Anyways, I see you have gotten a lot stronger, what've you been up to?" He asked, prepared for if she said 'none of your business' since she already questioned what business he had here. But, Purika could be wherever the hell he wanted.
He could always respect important situations in which people didn't want him listening in.

Five minutes. She had only been on the planet for five, measly minutes...And people were already gathering around her and Vennel like a swarm of pigeons. Kaza failed to understand why they had gotten this much attention, and this frustrated her greatly. Why were they all gathered here? Did they have nothing better to do? Would they blindly swarm around anywhere the Commander showed her face? Kaza did her best to ignore all the whispers from the mindless civilians, dock workers, and other soldiers that had swarmed around them. She couldn't lose composure- not like this. But then, something was revealed that may have been the cause for all of this eavesdropping. Shemha spoke of a 'Soldier who once called herself Queen'...And it referred to Vennel. ''Queen...?'' Kaza's eyes visibly widened at the reveal, a slight gulp of surprise forming in her throat! They meant to tell her that Kaza had been working alongside the Ex-Queen this entire time? Someone she fought alongside with? Someone she pledged allegiance to, not knowing any of this...? Understandably, Kaza felt somewhat inferior. She was mere low-class garbage, after all. But none of those feelings mattered now. They were overshadowed by a feelings of intense frustration. Even with all of this sensitive information being tossed around, all of these unimportant people were free to eavesdrop on their conversation. Did they fail to realize the bloody Commander was right there?! Had they no sense of respect for someone of her status...? Disrespectful garbage...It only angered Kaza further. The fact that the Commander was able to stay this calm...How? Then, Purika butted in...During all of this. Blatantly ignoring the conversation at hand, the Saiyan felt entitled to weakly defend his reasoning for being there. No one asked him- nor did he have any business being there...Yet here he was trying to spark up a conversation with Kaza...!? Did he not realize she was in the middle of something...?!
Kaza's anger was now visible to nearly everyone. Her gaze was held low, eyes fixed on the ground. Her arms were folded, gripped tightly to the point of shaking. She couldn't keep her composure any longer- not with all of these idiots around. She raised her head, cold glaring eyes staring off into the distance. ''Commander- please forgive me for what I'm about to do.'' She said in a bland, dull tone. Kaza unfolded her arms as she faced the crowd of eavesdropping civilians, dock workers, and soldiers.
Her gaze was set on Purika, lowered eyes that held a sickening glare to them. Her expression alone was enough to scare away some of the dock workers. She took a step toward the disrespectful, idiotic Saiyan, the one who truly pissed her off the most. ''You.'' Kaza adressed him in a cold, clear tone. Ally to the Empire or not, Kaza clearly had enough of his ignorant attitude.
''You must feel very entitled to try and talk to me while I'm speaking to the Commander.'' She continued whilst walking toward him. The Saiyan towered over her, so Kaza levitated into the air until she was at an eye-to-eye level with him. ''I've said it once, and I'll say it again, Purika.'' Kaza hissed, her gaze unwavering. ''You have no business here.''
Cold eyes stared into his, purple energy swirling up from her feet, rising like a shroud of ominous mist. ''Yet, if you feel that you are able to go and do whatever you please, disrespecting others of a higher position to do so...'' Kaza paused, lifting a hand and holding it still infront of his face. Palm outstretched, it crackled dimly with energy.
''Then the same applies to me, right?''
Kaza's energy continued to swirl around her. By now, most of the civilians and dock workers had dipped out, yet some remained due to the tension. ''And right now...I want you to leave. This conversation doesn't concern you.'' Kaza hissed. She didn't waver, nor did she even think about removing her hand. Kaza was serious about this...Ally or not, she wasn't afraid to do this, even with their very own Commander right there.
''I know your type. You value power, and think you can get away with being so disrespectful because you're strong...'' The crackling of Kaza's hand intensified, sparks of purple lightning coated her arm, her eyes began to light up with her aura. ''But let's not forget who has more power here.''
The Majin paused, lowering her eyes one final time as she bared her fangs. Her aura sprung out fully now, a continuous whizz of power emanating from her. ''I'm giving you one last chance to go, before I forcefully remove you myself.''
''Leave. Now.''
Kaza is threathening Purika to get the heck out!
TAGS: Shemha OOC NOTES: No attack being charged, most of the energy show is merely to intimidate. Don't need any of these eavesdropping nerds
Also, skipping Sundavr! Sorry friend, but it's been quite a while and I was excited to get this going again e.e
