( Marcel) (Current PL: 34,839 due to HWs (139,358) Marcel sat on top of the green ship known as the...."Lady Smasher" with his legs crossed, and eyes closed with both hands on both knees. He was attempting to do something, but would be quickly distracted by a loud, "MAAAARRCCEEELLLL!!" coming from the green haired cyborg, Hunter who rose from the cockpit of his ship. With a quick eye twitch, Marcel opened his eyes, and looked over to the grinning robot, a puzzled expression on his own face. "Hm?" Hunter fully climbed out of the cockpit, and walked over to the hybrid before crossing his arms. "I just got word that there were some bombastic big booby bubble butted ladays roaming about in that capital we were at before!" the perverted droid claimed with a grin as Marcel gave him an irritated, skeptical expression.
"Oh, really?" the hybrid asked in a skeptical tone. "Who was it that gave you this..."information" if you don't mind me asking?" Hunter then proceeded to point at himself with a thumb before saying, "Why my guts of course! Or whatever it is that ticks inside me now...." Marcel would then nod, and shake his head shortly after as if he were expecting that answer. "How about you go on ahead without me?" Marcel suggested. Not only did the hybrid have no interest in following Hunter around on his hopeless quest for....breasts, he didn't want to get in trouble for Hunter's shenanigans, and wanted a bit of alone time. "Eh, suit yourself I guess." the android said with a shrug, and with that, he took to the skies about to take off before pausing to turn around. "Oh, don't worry. I'll make sure to snag ya some of them panties, Marcel." Hunter claimed with a wink before taking off, much to Marcel's annoyance.
With that done, Marcel closed his eyes, and took a deep breathe before exhaling. While he is here on this planet, the hybrid thought he'd might as well practice on his telepathy, something he picked up from a female Arcosian he met in the North. Possibly due to his demon genes, the hybrid was able to get some hang of this ability quicker than it might normally take. He wanted to see if he could possibly use this to communicate with someone on Earth. The question however, was who? There were quite a few people Marcel knew on that planet, and with the person he'd like to talk to the most already on this planet, and having already spoke to her a few times here, it seemed pointless to use it on her. Finally, his mind set on a particular person he met only once, that woman he promised to train together with.
Durian.....
Now why did his mind set on her he wasn't quite sure. Perhaps guilt for making such a promise, but never meeting up with her again, though it's not like it was his fault he ended up here....With that, Marcel cleared his mind, and tried to focus on the planet Durian resided on, then to the woman herself. If successful, Marcel would let out a hesitant, 'H-Hello....Durian?' through his mind, unsure if his telepathy will even reach out so far, but it was worth a try.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD The kagami known as Durian knew nothing of these happenings upon Namek. In the frozen North, Durian had once again found herself in the middle of nowhere. This time, she wasn’t traveling. Durian was out in the cold and snow in order to train her focus and ki. The element of fire based upon her fury had become her safe haven and crutch. Her mind, body, and soul revolving around hatred, heat, and red anger so much that fire would take her limbs into its warm embrace. If she could focus that to a smaller level she could keep warm and comfortable in the extreme temperatures of the north. An added bonus was being away from people. While it made her quite the beacon, there were.. allies? Near that she somewhat felt she could depend on if something went awry. The woman sat herself within a thin part of the snow. White still surrounded her, the cold of the frozen water was soaking into her clothes and flesh. She was dressed as she normally was, black with a lot of her flesh covered by mask and glove. Her hair shown brightly with colors as the sun bounced its life giving rays across the snow and her locks. It was beginning to be a good day. Silence. Peace. Focus. She took a deep breath and would begin her concentration. Sitting there as time and life passed her by. Her body didn’t feel freezing but it didn’t feel comfortable. Cold would set in soon if she didn’t try harder. And as minutes and hours ticked by, she would gain control of her own ki and emotions. Keeping herself regulated and within a small focused concentration, the woman would gain her ability to remain unfrozen and warm from her own ki, drive, and preparation. So much so, she was sweating with the effort. The rainbow-haired Kagami worked against the elements, something she had not trained herself to do. It required all of her mind to be focused upon it. So imagine her surprise when it was infiltrated. H-Hello...Durian?Dull grey eyes that were once closed snapped open. The Kagami felt her body tense, though her ki would flare up instead of diminish. Light flames near flickering to life over her body that sat in the snow, though dying down to not even a red glow surrounding her body once again. What was that voice? Durian knew well enough that it wasn’t Mitra. Mitra’s was a feminine voice. A calming, caring, and soothing sound, but was completely confident in its reassurance. This voice... was male but not unfamiliar. It was hesitant. It knew her name. There was no possible way another deity had moved into her mind and soul, especially not one of male-like origin..So.... what was this? Closing her eyes once again, the female would attempt to focus her energies upon that sensation. Upon that voice. Her anger and hatred were not restrained as she was attempting to locate this voice’s origin, and when she would finally ‘speak’ in return, it would be quite possible that her fury would outline the words just as much as her feelings might. Her knowledge of telepathy was very minimal, even if Levlidian and Hinawa had a habit of speaking to one another in such a way many times in a given day they trained together. Her idea of speaking back to that voice would be difficult. Durian did have a strong ability to weild her ki in effective manners, her old master and her natural race tendencies assisting her with quick advancement. But that only meant the message might reach its goal. It was all the more likely that it wouldn’t get to Marcel, and if it did, it would be quite fuzzy. The man would need to keep his attention on her to have a chance, but the poor lad would be hit with hatred before any word might cross his ‘ears.’ “Who the hell is this and what do you want?” Marcel Law --------------------------------------------- Note - Telepathy have not been accepted yet for this profile but with Marcel's permission I was going to use them during the thread. Sitting there calmly, Marcel awaited a response. He started to have doubts that this technique of his would reach far to another planet, but just in case, he wanted to give it a few more minutes before calling it quits. After a few minutes of waiting, it appears that the hybrid's little experiment was a success, however...he didn't get the response he was looking for.
With an eyebrow raised as Durian spoke, Marcel couldn't help, but chuckle before focusing again. It was a bit fuzzy, but he understood her clearly, and that tone of hers. He couldn't blame her neither as he was certainly surprised himself when that Arcosian first used this telepathy technique on him. Trying to clear his mind again, Marcel focused back on the aggressive woman. 'It's, Marcel....Durian. I apologize for the sudden intrusion, but this is the only way I could get in contact with you due to my current...state. If this is a bad time, I can always try again later.' The hybrid spoke mentally to the Kagami. He hoped that everything he said got to her without problem as he wasn't sure how effective this technique was across planets. He would then realize something that caused his eyebrows to raise...
'Oh! Of course if this isn't her, then I apologize for the confusion!' he said, his mental tone sounding a bit nervous, and sheepish in nature.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Durian had no way of knowing if her message made it to this mystery voice or not. If it met her target. Telepathy, as said before, was something unknown to the female. Sitting still in the snow, keeping her eyes closed to the world around her, she would refocus upon her previous training. Sit in the snow. Remain still. Keep her ki focused and consistent. That was her goal for today. To get stronger, better, and controlled. Taking a deep breath and starting over once again. The voice would permeate her mind again. The same male. The same tone. But... he revealed who he was. Marcel? There was a moment of recollection with the Kagami, a hesitant recollection. Not due to disliking him, but just unfamiliarity. They had met once. They had spoken for a short bit on that day. And since then... she had lost a lot of faith in helping people. She had gained drive in furthering her own needs without assisting others. Marcel was very different. He would set the planet before himself. With a frustrated sigh, Durian would once again attempt to focus on the young man. Marcel. A dark haired young man with a very strong heart and weakness for the people around him. He wanted to help. But... where the hell did he get mind powers? And that’s where her brief comfort would turn to suspicion. There had been more to him that had met the eye and senses. Had he lied to her? He hadn’t said he wasn’t powerful, but he had kept it hidden... Was there something else that had been a lie or kept hidden? Her thoughts had kept her occupied up until he apologized for his confusion. Restraining the want to roll her eyes, she would attempt to send a message back. Picturing him. Focusing upon what she remembered of him, what he felt like. ‘This is Durian. I wouldn’t have thought you would be able to speak to my mind.’ Her words were careful, calculating, and restrained. Hiding her anger and hatred this time, though it may still come across garbled to the other man. Durian was still new to this, afterall. Even with her skill in ki control. Taking a moment to regather her thoughts, she wondered what else she might say to him. What is his current state? Was he in trouble? Should she care if that were the case? ‘Are you hurt? Did you need something from me?’ It couldn’t hurt to ask. She may or may not help him if the situation so required it, but she couldn’t make the decision if she didn’t know the circumstances. So ask she would, just as calm and collected as before. This Marcel she was speaking to was a whole different unknown. He could speak to her mind from an unknown location. Now that she really wanted to know his power, she had no way to sense him. All she had were blind feelings of trying to connect to him heaven and hell knew where. A sigh of relief escaped the hybrid's mouth after Durian confirmed it was her. For a second, he thought he did contact the wrong person, and that would've been an awkward moment. Though they only met once, Marcel was glad that he gets to speak to this woman again. From the sound of it, it seemed like she was doing alright, so there was that.
'Ah, I'm actually using telepathy. I've honestly not gotten a full grip over it, however.' the hybrid admitted. 'This was just a test. I wanted to see how far it could reach, and I am surprised with the results.' he claimed with a silent smile on his face. 'I'm actually on another planet, Namek, a peaceful looking planet with some...bumps, if you have ever heard of it. I am not in trouble, or anything, so don't worry.' he said, though the hybrid doubted that Durian really cared about his well being. She didn't appear to be the type who did, or at least towards people who were practically strangers such as himself. 'I also wanted to apologize, since you did bring up the offer of training together.' a frown formed on the hybrid's face. 'It wasn't my intention to bail on our plan, but I....had little to no choice in the matter....' Marcel claimed, referring to how Hunter practically kidnapped, and sent the poor guy here.
But he was growing to like the scenery of this foreign place, and its culture, so it wasn't all bad...

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD This time she would wait expectantly. He had called to her and answered her once again. Durian had little doubt that Marcel would continue to speak to her as long as she answered. That... just seemed to be who he was. Telepathy. An odd concept. The only one she had ever spoken to in her own mind had been Mitra. And that was so long ago. Or at least... it felt as such. This was slightly different, it wasn’t a continual presence or interruption. Marcel was merely a visitor. Mitra was a resident. “To me it seems like you’ve gotten a very good ‘grip’ on it.” A short pause and Durian would realize what the purpose was for the contact. It seemed the conversation was over. “I hope your test was a success then.” Like she was going to sign off or hang up. It was only a split second before Marcel would speak further, answering her question. Now the Kagami was uncertain of whether this was over. They were going to speak more? “I’ve heard of Namek, but I’ve never been. I hope whatever your reason for being there is serving you well.”
It was harder to speak to him this way. Gradually she was getting better. As she continued to focus upon the man instead of hearing him, then ignoring him, then trying to contact him. She would likely become clearer and clearer to Marcel. He would then mention their training together, how it had been offered but hadn’t happened. In his absence, Durian felt little need to offer herself to others and less desire to be around individuals more than in passing. It could bring some to expect more of her than she would give. Or on the other hand, she might expect more of them than was intended. All in all, she wasn’t concerned with not having seen Marcel again. Furthermore, if he could speak across planets with such ease, from Namek no less, then he was far more skilled than she realized. “No need to apologize. An offer can be accepted or rejected. That doesn’t mean that I’ll be offended by you making a choice. You seem like you have quite the path carved out for yourself, Marcel. If you’ve grown mentally since I’ve last seen you, you’ve probably taken ahold of your own reins.” He was an odd lad. He seemed nervous, yet here he was initiating conversation through telepathy. There was some strength in him that she hadn’t known. It bothered her. That he had hid from her so easily. With a sigh, she’d offer one last time regardless. Why? She wasn’t really sure. “If we do cross paths again, we could take up the thought of training. So either don’t worry about saying no to me, or come back at another time to fulfill the yes.” Almost like she was encouraging him that things would be fine either way. Her caring and nurturing nature was less... prevalent than last time. The hatred that she had fully realized with Levlidian was swirling. She had one purpose and anything else was a distraction. A smile peeked upon Marcel's face as he was complimented by the tall woman while also not seeing it coming from someone such as herself at the same time. '....Thank you, Durian.' he'd respond before pausing for a bit, shaking his head shortly after. 'But...I wouldn't say I do since I know of people who can do this with little to no focus. I have to have all of my focus on you to do what I am doing now to the point that I'm afraid of moving an inch, or I'll lose "connection."' he claimed, chuckling a bit to himself shortly after only to briefly lose focus, and lose that "connection" for a second. Quickly regaining his focus, the hybrid took a deep breathe before saying,
'Er...my apologies.'
He listened to the Kagami's response about Namek before making an annoyed expression about the woman's comment on whatever his reason of being there serving him well, making him think of how he was pretty much brought here against his will. 'It is very different from Earth. It has a more...mystical feeling to it which I can oddly relate to in some sense....' he claimed. Demons are known for their ability to wield magic, and since Marcel had demonic blood coursing through his veins, he also had some sort of connection to magical things, but this was something he didn't fully grasp. Some if not all of his techniques run on magic to some capacity, but he has yet to figure that out considering that most of his moves appeared similar to those of regular ki attacks. 'Though...it wasn't...exactly my choice to come here...' the hybrid admitted, a hint of annoyance in his tone. He wasn't sure what was worse, the fact that someone like Hunter was capable of tricking him like that, or that it was easy for someone to take advantage of his good willed nature so easily. When it came to people who appeared to need help, Marcel would come in to the rescue with little to no questions asked depending on the situation. Hunter was able to take advantage of that, and no doubt others may try to do the same thing with him, but for much more sinister purposes one day.
'...It's nothing to worry about though.' he claimed, doubting that she really cared about it to begin with.
Law continued to listen to Durian with no interruptions. She said that he didn't have to apologize, but still he felt bad for just skipping out on her like this despite it not being completely his fault. 'I believe that everyone has a path "carved" out for them from the moment of birth all the way up until death, but it is another thing to know what this path is.' he claimed as a frown developed on his non moving mouth, his tone lowering some. 'I claim that I want to protect the Earth, and its people with my life, which I do, and still firmly believe in, but it doesn't necessarily mean that is my destiny.....Only time will tell.' Though upset by what he's said, and would hate for it to be true, Marcel firmly believed in this theory of his, afraid that fate might take him on more of a sinister path, especially with that loathsome demon side of his.
"But yes, I would love to still take you up on your offer whenever I get back...or if you intend on coming here." he answered truthfully, doubting she'd come all the way to another planet just to train with him, but it was still a possibility.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Thank you? What had she said? The Kagami was surprised by the words. All she had stated was her opinion, nothing more and nothing less. Or so she thought. So what was he thanking her for? Saying he was doing well with this telepathy. Sighing to herself, she wondered how skilled this man actually was. Here she thought he was just some man she crossed paths with. Then she was being communicated with telepathically from Namek. Now he was downplaying that by saying there were others that could do so much easier than him? Who the hell did he know? Was he useless or insanely strong? She needed to be wary of him. Yet... here he was so at ease. He was even chuckling. And then he said sorry. Man did this guy throw her through some hoops. Either he was extremely good at manipulating, or he was genuinely kind with an unknown but likely high ability level. As he continued on, Durian couldn’t tell if he was irritated or amazed by where he was. Something was off and she didn’t know if she was at fault for her silence or if there was something else to be irritated by. He said he was in no trouble and she doubted he couldn’t speak freely due to how they were talking. So it was unlikely he was threatened. However, it not being his choice was definitely odd wording. A relationship of some sort? An obligation? Job? Duty? Durian couldn’t know and the woman was finding less and less need to ask. Until she heard him say, there was nothing to worry about. The slightest recollection of their first meeting would dawn on her. He was vastly more worried about others than himself, that she knew already. But it was to the point that he was almost child-like... Full dependence on the happiness of others. “Should I be worried? Obviously you’re not completely pleased.” That’s what she’d give him. He hadn’t been forthcoming with this as much as he had been with why he was upset the last time. A little bit of pry for memory’s sake couldn’t hurt... maybe. But the female’s face would become harder. Her mental tone sterner and maybe a bit fierce. What he was speaking now... hurt and angered her. “I will not be someone’s cosmic storyline. The woman wouldn’t stop herself even a moment after he had finished ‘only time will tell.’ “I carve my own path with my own decisions. I will not let some magical power decide what my destiny is. I know what I exist for. I know what I want. And I WILL get it.” Fire-like ki began swirling around the female’s body, rainbow crossed hair near standing on edge as the waves of energy poured from her skin. A red hue, a heat, they surrounded the closed-eyed Kagami. She existed to end the Saiyan race. Her hatred would spur her onwards, even after death if her goal was not accomplished. Nothing would stop her. Not a cosmic storyline of her life. Not Marcel. Not Levlidian. “I shall decide my destiny. And if you rely on someone else carving yours out, you’re a sniveling, cowardly fool.” Her anger had been climbing the longer she spoke. He was telling her that someone or something had planned for her to be born into slavery. For her to lose what she had. For her to be like this. To have seen her people persecuted, tortured, enslaved, and hopeless. No. She would not believe that. Ever. “I have a one way ticket off this planet. And my destiny that I am deciding on needs me to go to another planet. My destiny will be to return to Vegeta, not visit Namek.” There was still firey anger to her words. She didn’t deny they would see one another again, but she did express why she likely wouldn’t show up at Namek. Her pod. It had one use left in it. She had no guarantee of getting another pod. No pod, no Vegeta. No Vegeta, no death to a large amount of Saiyans. Durian did have a point. Being taken against his will to another planet wouldn't really please a lot of people, even if the planet is peaceful such as this one. But what seemed like a casual conversation would turn sour quickly. It seemed that the hybrid struck a nerve about his views on destiny. The Kagami responded to Law in a furious tone, claiming that she carved her own fate, and that she wouldn't let anyone, or anything do it for her, even going as far as to insulting the hybrid for having such views.
Despite this, Marcel kept his cool, and listened silently to the furious woman's comments. Being as patient as he was, Marcel didn't really react much, or lash out against harsh people such as, Durian, and that one Heran woman he came across back on Earth. What really caught the man's attention however, was the Kagami's talk about...
'Vegeta....?'
Marcel said in a low tone. Planet Vegeta, home to the Saiyans....where his mother was possibly located at. Why did this woman have business on that aggressive planet? From what he was told, it wouldn't be wise for someone to just tread upon that planet due to how dangerous those brutes are. Though by judging from her personality, she could probably defend herself out there. Law decided to leave the subject alone since she was obviously annoyed. 'Well....Be careful out there. I've never been to the planet, but I've been told how...dangerous it could be out there. I also apologize for angering you, but still, I stand by my views. Though I have to say I admire your views. It shows that you have a strong will....which not everybody has." he claimed, drifting off a bit in his tone at the last part. When it came to Marcel's will on certain things such as his demon half, it was very questionable....

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Durian waited for his response. Still angry at the thought of him even implying that her history and her future were not hers to control. How could he say that. How could anyone say that. Like life was written out before some being. That her past had just been there as some sad amusement for something. She lost a child to dirty apes. She lost who she was. While it could take the blame off of her, who would have the cruelty to write such fates for someone?!
But this man was going to accept that someone else was in control of his destiny. If he was going to settle with that, then maybe she should have left him with the thought of dying back in the capital of the south. Exhaling through her nose, Durian attempted to calm down. It wasn’t fair to think that. He hadn’t done anything to her. But still... her heart raged. Marcel would do well to distract her from this spiraling path of rage. And thankfully he would. In a way.
Vegeta?
Yes Vegeta. The planet where her people were majorly enslaved by the race of saiyans. Not where they had first resided, but forcefully taken and abused. Where her people suffered. Where she saw the suffering. Where she suffered and broke. One day she would return to Vegeta and she would rid it of all Saiyans. Make the planet bleed with their blood.
Marcel’s first comment was caring. Be careful. He did have a way of trying to get people to take care of themselves. Hell, he even went out of his way to help her. Like it helped him in some way to see himself care for people. But... he shouldn’t have said anything about his views. He still stood by them. How weak and stupid was he? The Kagami’s anger flared again.
You certainly don’t have a strong will. Letting your fate be decided by anyone but you. Work. I’ve told you that before. Otherwise, why even try? Your life is useless if you go thinking that its controlled by someone else. Take a little initiative. Or rot.
The female was angry. He had rekindled what he had successfully distracted her from. She waited for an answer. For him to snap back. For him to say he was sorry. It could really be anything. But... nothing came. Durian heard nothing. There were no words for her to hear. Marcel said nothing. Her irritation grew with every passing second. He couldn’t even have the decency to answer. And somewhere... the kagami lost a little more faith. Turned a little bit more to the thought that she should be saiyan like and avoid people. Use them for what they’re good for, but don’t get close. Don’t depend on others, just use them for her own gains. Step on them. That’s how she would murder the saiyans.
With an aggravated sigh, she would stand. The snow beneath her holding an imprint of where she had been and also jagged lines away from that. Heat from her ki. Given off in times of unfocus. Durian didn’t even look back. She just walked. Back towards Hinawa’s mansion. To Hinawa. To Levlidian. People she could use and get stronger. Those who had to mean nothing to her.
