The boy took a deep breath once more as bits and pieces lay around him in a circle, seemingly out numbering the grass itself. Ryce's sword's tip had dug into the ground, the hilt pointing directly upward into the blue sky. Finally he released the constant flow of ki he had been keeping up as he sliced and diced those bamboo stalks utilizing his trusty sword. Plopping on the ground out of lack of energy, the shirtless eight year-old grabbed his small jug of water and took a drink.
As the clear and clean water eased down his throat, Ryce felt a sense of relief, removing the jug rim from his lips finally letting out a large sigh signifying his satisfaction. "Nature is the best! This water is awesome!", he said looking at the jug. He then focused his vision on the diced up bamboo rather than the jug and scratched his head with a not-so-sure grin on his face. "Oh...sorry about that Nature! I needed something to practice with."
The boy then began to chuckle as he hopped to his feet as he went over to another bamboo stalk as he leaned on it's stem as if it were an old friend. "Besides...you can always grow more, right?" The bamboo slid past Ryce by breaking and let him hit the ground hard as dust arose from his descent as if it were capable of doing so purposefully. As usual, Ryce assumed such. "Ow! You didn't have to be so rude about it! All I did was cut up, like, twenty bamboo stalks, and you don't act that way when I punch trees or when people cut them down for paper do you?" There was no "response" from nature, causing Ryce to grin. "That's what I thought."
Rolling onto his back, Ryce put the weight of his body onto his arms and kipped up with ease. Cracking his knuckles and neck, the boy looked over to his water jug which was lacking water to contain. "Hm. Looks like I need a refill...", he said casually. With a sigh, he picked up his shirt, put it around his neck, grabbed his sword, which he now sheathed, with his left hand and grabbed the water jug with his right as he slowly walked towards a lake.
