As Mayze's form hit the water, his Ki suddenly dipped in strength. It wasn't gone, not by any means, but it was weakened. Xylo hovered above the crisp green water, his eyes focused on it intently. He needed to make absolutely certain he didn't miss out on Mayze's return. Letting him get an advantage wouldn't be good. The Mazoku smirked, shouting towards the pond below. "What's wrong Mayze? Did you miss bath-time on the ship over here? If you'd like I can make some bubbles for you!"Suddenly, the Saiyan General broke through the water, soaring into the sky as he activated his golden form once more. It seemed this fight wasn't finished just yet. "Don't worry," Xylo taunted. "You'll be done soon enough."Xylo's body was suddenly coated in an eerie violet glow, as his Ki rose sharply. He gave a dark chuckle, his fists clenching tightly. "You've shown me enough of your strength for today. I think I'll have to kill you next time. For now, I'll leave you with just a taste of my full power."The water below began making violent waves, while the wind howled. How would Mayze deal with this?

As the wind began to pick up, Mayze angrily yelled back, “Then I’ll show you my full power!” his aura began to rage around him like never before, coating him in a fiery golden flame as bright as the sun. He drew out his reserve ki, taking every last drop of it. If he wanted to win this battle, he’d have to make this attack count.
The wind began to whip around the duo like a furious hurricane. The sky darkened as dark clouds formed from the pressure being exerted. A crack of lightning struck the pond’s shore, leaving a blackened scorch. The waves below them became wilder and wilder, crashing into one another at an increased tempo.
Mayze’s blood began to boil, excitement filling his veins. This was the climax of the fight, and he would win, “Time to send you back to the bowels of Hell where you belong, namekian!”

As the skies darkened, Xylo's energy reached insane levels. The two warriors were both powerful, but even at a glance one could tell which of them was putting out more power. Xylo chuckled darkly again, ramping up into a maniacal laugh. "Enjoy it while it lasts, Super Saiyan! This feeling that you have some semblance of strength! Soon you'll realize how foolish it was to cross the Mazoku!"His power flourished, reaching its peak. His attack was ready now, and there was no way Mayze would be able to prepare for it. The ancient demonic art was known to few, and those who were aware had been dead for centuries. "Enjoy a sample!"Xylo's energy suddenly collected into a single point; his mouth. The energy swelled into his cheeks, the Ki becoming coated in a thick evil magic. With a brief inhale, Xylo suddenly jut his head forwards, spitting a huge, thick glob of dark grey spit towards Mayze. It traveled at high speeds, aiming right for his chest! If it hit, his body would slowly transmogrify into pure stone, trapping him in place for quite some time...

Xylo’s spit traveled faster than Mayze could see. Before the saiyan could so much as react, the gooey gob struck smack dab in the chest, covering his saiyan armor in sticky gray spit. The ki that he had gathered, the attack somehow cancelling his charge.
The saiyan looked down at his chest before giving Xylo an incredulous look, “Spit? You really think that’d do anyt-,” the saiyan was cut short as he felt a deep coldness in his chest. His eyes widened as he glanced at his chest. His armor, and other parts of his chest, was starting to harden into stone. He felt a deep fear on his chest as he saw the greyness spread, spreading across his body.
The saiyan glanced towards Xylo, expression filled with utter fury, “What is this sorcery? What have you done to me, namekian!?”
Fear began to take hold as he found himself unable to move his arms or legs. The stone spread like a disease, slowly turning his body into stone. As the stone traveled up his neck, Mayze let out a furious roar, “I will end your miserable existen-!” the saiyan was abruptly cut off as the stone fully encases him. No ki to keep it afloat, the stone statue fell from the air, creating a large splash as it impacted the water, and slowly sunk to the seabed.

The Mazoku's attack worked perfectly! The spit had landed in the center of Mayze's form, and slowly, the poisonous magic spread through his veins. His clothes, his skin, even his glorious golden hair had turned to a dark grey slab of stone! As Mayze's final scream rang out, his body had completely petrified, his arm thrust outwards as if he were swinging a fist at someone. Mayze's form plummeted to the ground, colliding with the pond below, before slowly sinking to the bottom. As it hit the floor, a pair of extended limbs would fish it out of the pond, laying it down on its side at the edge of the small body of water. Xylo chuckled darkly as he arms retracted, and he landed next to the incapacitated Super Saiyan.
"Oh, how the mighty have fallen."
He tapped his foot against the side of Mayze's frozen temple, another laugh escaping him, a pleased smile creeping on his face. "Don't worry, I wasn't going to let this kill you just yet. This will wear off in a few hours. It will give you time to mull over your failure as a warrior. Maybe you can grovel to your Queen and beg her for training."
With a massive swing of his leg, he slammed his foot into the petrified Mayze's chest, sending the statue careening towards a mountain. It smashed into the base of the rock, indenting the Stone Saiyan into the side of it. Xylo hopped over, ripping Mayze out of the wall, and lifting him up with his right hand. "It's shameful, really! To think I could have been killed by someone as worthless as you!" He tossed Mayze forwards, shouting angrily as the Saiyan's immobile form crashed through an Ajissa tree.
"This is pathetic, truly pathetic! You call yourself a Super Saiyan?! I bet my children could destroy you in an instant!"
He stomped towards Mayze yet again, this time forming an orb of Ki in his hand. He growled, energy increasing in strength, before suddenly dissipating. The Mazoku Lord lowered his hand, placing his foot directly on top of the statue.
"I'll give you and your Saiyans a month to prepare. If you aren't ready for my true power by then, I'll send you to Hell." He chuckled darkly to himself. "Perhaps getting tossed in there will turn you into something worthwhile."
Without another word, Xylo ascended into the air. It was time to move on. There were other things that needed to be done before his time ran out. With a burst of energy, Xylo shot into the sky, headed for his next target...

A few hours later...
The audible cracking of sound broke broke the everlasting silence. Slowly, small stone chunks flaked off the petrified Mayze, falling around him like flakes of snow. A loud snap was heard, a crack forming along the statue, before the rest of the stone broke.
The saiyan let out an audible gasp as he became aware. Shaking his head from disorientation, the saiyan slowly stood up. He held his head as he looked at his environment, reminding him of what happened just a few hours ago. He clenched this fist, snarling in rage. He transformed into his Super Saiyan state, giving a fearsome yell of frustration. He extended his arm forward, gathering ki in his palm. A moment later, he launched a large red ki orb, flinging it towards the nearby ridge in his fit of rage, "GOD DAMN FILTHY SLUG! USING CHEAP TRICKS TO BEAT ME!!! AN ELITE SUPER SAIYAN WARRIOR!"
The attack struck with tremendous force, shaking the very ground beneath his feet. A large flash of light gave Mayze a blue tint blue as the orb struck the ridge side. Small bits of rock and rubble began to rain around him. As the light cleared, a crater about a quarter of the size of Cucumber City lay in the middle of the massive ridge, splitting it in four parts.
"I AM THE STRONGER ONE! ME! I REFUSE TO LOSE TO A WEAKLING LIKE THAT! THAT PATHETIC PIECE OF LOW CLASS TRAAAAAASSSSSSSHHHHHH!" Mayze screamed in fury as he let loose a barrage of ki orbs, devastating the landscape. The color of blue highlighted his face as he kept throwing orb after orb in his everlasting anger.
Finally, he stopped, taking in deep breaths as he calmed himself down. He had done a great number to the landscape, having vaporized the pond and left an enormous amount of large craters. The grass in the area was scorched, and it was obvious that it would take a few years for this small area to recover from the destruction Mayze had wrought on it. The saiyan held his head low, looking at his hands as he though, "Even with all this immense power, I still lost. And to a namekian no less..."
Sighing, Mayze took a few more deep breaths, before checking if his scouter was stilling working Seeing that it did, he decided to finally check the priority message from the Queen herself. A brief, few seconds later, the video transmission popped up, and revealing the Zucceta.
He watched through the first of it intently, curious as to what she had to say. However, when she announced she was abdicating, Mayze took off his scouter, throwing it against the ground before stomping on it. He ran his hand through his hair, sighing. Without warning, the saiyan took off, powering down to his base stage as he flew away from the battleground.
"I've gotta find Habana."
