Daika grunted as his hands tore through the ground, ripping the earth up in chunks as he searched for his prize. The Saiyan hadn't been back to this particular spot in quite a while, however due to recent events, he believed that it was time to dig back up one of more... costly possessions. It had faithfully carried him to Earth after his "disappearance" from the Empire, but it was somewhat damaged once he landed. Over time, however, he had managed to at least restore enough functionality to the small attack pod to warrant at least one, last trip back into the void of space.
The only reason he was going in the first place was because he was bored. Seriously, it was almost like nothing exciting ever happened on Earth since the Saiyan invasion. And who the hell didn't like adventuring?
He had thought a bit on where he should travel to. Planet Vegeta was off the list immediately, he sure as hell didn't want to go back there until he was confident he wouldn't be killed by some trigger-happy Super Saiyan elite, and the Arcosian-loyal planets would almost certainly lead to danger, albeit the entire place had been burned to the ground in the invasion. The next choice, of course, was Namek.
He had heard a little about Namek, mostly from idle talk between some of the warriors and some books, but from what he had learned, it seemed like a very interesting place. Namek society was divided into castes, and if the few recorded fights were anything to go by, the Namekians were strong fighters as well. He stopped digging as he felt the smooth metal of the pod, and reached down to rip the space-capable sphere out of the ground.
