The Bamboo forest is a wild place, home to various beasts and dinosaurs which made the area their home. The place was a magnet for natural wildlife, the forest itself providing food for herbivores, which in turn helped provide a meal for their meat-eating cousins. The mere sight of the sun rising over the horizon, it's golden glow dappling the forest floor as the light pierced through the thick canopy. A truly wonderful sight to behold. However, these days it was the wildlife that caused people, specifically martial artists, to visit the forest. Not to watch or observe the beasts, no, but for battle practice. In fact, some of these fighters even make their homes in the forest in order to continue training. Of course, this would include Saiyans. It was a nice morning, the wind slowly blowing through leaves and branches as the sun softly glowed down at the earth below, plants and animals alike soaking up the warm, golden rays. The forest would not become a hub of activity until later on in the day as it became warmer, however there were a few inhabitants of the forest who were active this early. Daika hummed to himself as he flew through the air, a rather odd activity for a pure-blooded Saiyan warrior to do, but he did it nonetheless. In truth, he was bored. Incredibly bored. The warrior had done little the past few weeks, and simply sitting around and doing almost nothing except a bit of light training was hardly enough to sate his appetite for adventure. Now, he traveled across the Forest, searching for something that may pique his interest. All he could see with his Ki sense was the low power-levels of the local wildlife. "Damn it all! Where the heck is everybody?"Just as the Saiyan was about to give up and travel elsewhere, a higher-than-average power level finally appeared. Finally! He quickly altered his flight course and sped off towards the source. The power he sensed was not anything special, but it was much higher than average. As he arrived at the location of the unknown power, he saw that it had come from a small, wooden house that was built in one of the few clearings in the forest itself. A small smile appearing on his face, he slowly floated down towards the house.

It was a chill afternoon, and Melo was where he was always. He never left his house, and he only did when he had guests. Yet, guests to Melo were just people that dropped into the forest. Even though his guests didn't even know he existed prior, he still enjoys teasing random people. He walked around his house for a bit, took a little shower, wore his clothes, prepared cereal for breakfast then walked out to his porch.
He loved his whole house, yet the porch was the area he loved the most. He could see most of the forest just from sitting on a chair on his porch, and he could observe. Instead of training for the past 9 years, all Melo did was observe and wait for his parents to come back. He had a cup of tea in his hand and he just sat there. He was certainly a weird fellow, the fact that he just sat on his porch and waited for things to happen were just not Saiyan-like. The honest truth was Melo had no intentions to become like all the Saiyans he grew up with. He knew many children that just didn't care about others and that didn't know what emotions were. Melo was sure that those kids now grew up to just be Saiyan warriors and follow the SSE's every command just like dogs. In a way he was pretty thankful for getting sent to Earth by his parents, he couldn't have dealt with himself or accepted himself if he was treated like a dog on Vegeta.
He then saw someone hover down to his house. He had a fairly large power level at around 16 thousand. Melo wasn't surprised or anything he just wanted some company to be frank. He stood on his porch, didn't move at all, he just looked at the man. He was an albino with Saiyan-esque traits. Then when he saw the tail he knew he was part of the same race as him. He was fairly excited but didn't show it at all. Melo's facial expression barely changed, and when they did it was fairly unexpected. He knew that "if you fall on concrete, that’s yo ass fault”. He looked at the man and greeted him.
"Hello I'm Melo. May I ask what you would like here?"

As Daika descended down towards the humble abode, he spotted the man who would most likely be the homes owner. As he drew closer, he could see that the occupant wore Saiyan battle-armor over a full body suit, complete with gloves and boots. That, combined with the tail that he could make out behind the stranger and the obvious spiky hair, the Albino warrior realized that this man was not human at all, but another member of his own race. Meeting a fellow Saiyan was always interesting. There were a few Saiyans who moved to Earth before the invasion, however most of them settled down on the planet afterwards, much like himself.
He found it somewhat harder to talk to Saiyans who chose to remain on Planet Vegeta, quite alot of them were brutish meatheads who only cared about fighting, killing and eating. The members of his race that did move to Earth, however, were far easier to converse with. Judging from the fact that this new Saiyan hadn't attacked or challenged him yet, and that his home seemed to have been standing for quite a while, Daika concluded that this newcomer was one of the friendlier types.
Just as his feet touched the ground, the Saiyan introduced himself by the name of Melo, and inquired into why the Albino had come to visit him. Still showing no aggression in the older male's presence only reinforced the idea that this Saiyan was of a far more friendly stock. Ignoring his request when he had greeted him so nicely would be rude however, so he turned his full attention to his fellow Saiyan and opened his mouth to speak.
"Greetings, Melo. I'm terribly sorry if I am interrupting anything. My name is Daika and I couldn't help but notice your higher-than-average power level, along with your choice in clothing. I'll admit, I haven't met many Saiyans on Earth, so I was wondering how and why you came to this planet in the first place?"

Melo couldn't help but smile as the man that approached him realized what he was. The fact that he was also a Saiyan shocked Melo as well but he didn't fret. He looked up at him and said with the kindest tone he could make, "Well, that is a fairly long story and the fact that I know nor your name, nor anything about you doesn't give me much muse to tell you. I apologize for my rudeness yet it's true. On the other hand, would you like a cup of green tea? I made it myself."
He didn't want to dismiss the man, after all he was kind back and wasn't rude to Melo at all. It was normal for him to pry into Melo's past, mostly since Saiyans don't see other Saiyans every day on Earth. Melo knew that, not only by staying at home but by actually looking around Earth and getting bullied and pounded by radical humans. He loved the planet, but hated most of the people that inhabited it. He actually seemed to like this man, despite his questions. He seemed like a kind man, that actually had a pretty high power level. Melo knew since he could analyze ones power level, and he also couldn't help but remark the man had weights on him; which were a fairly common training technique to use when not training. Melo didn't own any himself mostly since he was really poor, but he knew what they were used for since he grew up on Vegeta.
On Vegeta everyone was obsessed with getting stronger, and they never gave up. The stronger they got the more narcissistic they got, which is what he hated about Saiyans. They inevitably set themselves up to love themselves and not care for anyone else. It was really hard to find a considerate and kind Saiyan on Vegeta. Yet on Earth, if you did so happen to find a Saiyan you could easily predict that he would be kind and generous. Such traits are developed only on Earth, when other negative traits can only be developed on Vegeta.

The Albino Saiyan could only smile and nod at this new Saiyan's reply to his own question. If he had been here as long as it looked, then it would certainly be quite a long story. Probably not as long as his own life story, but it would be interesting to hear nonetheless. It also seemed that the Saiyan was also inviting him inside his home for a drink, something called... "Green Tea?" He had heard of tea, of course, but not something as specific as green tea... He was also amazed at how trusting the Saiyan seemed to be. They had only just met and he was already acting friendly and inviting him inside his own house for a drink with a complete stranger. Although it probably helped that he was acting nice towards him, after all.
"Well, if someone offers free food or drink, you'd have to be pretty stupid not to accept!" He grinned. After all, it was true. Who in their right mind would reject free stuff? Everyone likes free stuff. Especially if it tasted good. Speaking of food, he would probably have to go get some later after he had finished up this little meeting. Saiyans ate a ridiculous amount of food in comparison to Humans, and even other races.
A little short, but meh
