"Dude, wake up!"
"....?"
"We're escaping!"
"....?"
"We're escaping!"
Shibo lazily opened one eye as his friend ecstatically attempted to wake him up. There's no night time in hell, so catching a few z's was a rather difficult task. Shibo rolled off of the slab of rock he called a "bed" and lied on the floor. "I'm asleep.....", Shibo said half awake. Jican picked him up and shook him. "No you're not! Otherwise you wouldn't have responded!", Jican replied. While Jican had a valid point, his friend thought otherwise. He put Shibo down, who was beginning to truly wake up. "Ok ok, I'm up.... What do you want...", he said with bags under his eyes.
"Well Shibo...", Jican said enthusiastically. "While you were busy lazing around and sleeping, I have made a perfect and flawless plan for both of us to escape hell! Isn't that exciting?". Shibo rubbed his eyes, and sarcastically replied, "Not even a little...". Jican frowned. "Oh come on, aren't you sick of being down here? Seeing the same yellow sky every day? Sleeping on a red freaking rock? Think of how happy we'll make our parents when we come back fully recovered from the dead? They'll flip!". "Well for starters, even on Earth we'll see the same blue sky every day...", Shibo refuted. "But I guess I can't argue about the second two. I really, really, want to sleep on a real bed again, and I kinda miss my parents...". Jican patted Shibo on the back. "See? That's the spirit! Now, let's get to work!".
Jican and Shibo walked outside the cave they called their home. Shibo now fully awake, realized the full extent of what Jican meant to say by escaping. "Wait a minute, wait a minute.", Shibo said. "How the hell are we gonna get from down here back to Earth?". Jican grinned. "It's simple! When we first got here, we were both clouds, correct? Well there has to be some way that we went from South Capitol to the check-in station! So all we have to do is get back up there, sneak past that big red ogre dude, and boom! Home free!", Jican explained. Shibo was impressed, but he had a few questions. "Alright, that's great and all, but what happens once we get up there? If the big red guy sees us, we're toast. And once we die for reals, we'll end up right back her-". Jican interrupted Shibo with more of his plan. "That's implying that he actually sees us. Besides, he's probably judged so many people by now that he won't even remember we existed!".
"Alright, alright, I'm in. But where do we start? It's not like we have a passage straight to the Check-In.", Shibo said. "Simple. We train.". Shibo did the equivalent of raising his eyebrow, despite not having them. "Training? What the hell does training have to do with any of this?!", Shibo asked. Jican raised a finger. "Think about it. We've gotten stronger in our time here than we have throughout our whole freaking lives dude. There's something special about this place. I can feel it. For now, we need to keep our heads low. Wait for the red dude to judge a few more people, and while he's doing that we need every second we can get of training. So that way, when we find him...". Jican put his fist in his hand. "We can have a little payback! Now, let's get going!".
Jican began to gather up his energy. A blue aura began to stir around him while tiny particles of dust were rising because of it. Shibo shrugged, and began to do the same thing. Once they were fully powered up, they took a few steps away from each other. "Ready?", Shibo asked. "Of course!". "Then let's do this!". The two flew at each other, full force. Neither side held anything back. When the two clashed fists, a piercing boom could be heard from miles away. The two punched twice, and Jican flipped away. Shibo charged at him and attempted to ram him into a nearby rock. However, Jican played the role of a matador. Just as Shibo was about to hit him, he immediately flew up into the air. Shibo couldn't turn himself around, so he crashed instead.
He saw Shibo crash and used this as an opening. Just as he had gotten up from the vertical crater he had created, Jican kneed Shibo in the chest, followed up by a flurry of punches. It was obvious that if things kept going at the rate they were, Shibo was going to lose. But the Majin wouldn't go down that easily. After taking a bunch of hits from Jican, he actually blocked one of them, which caught Jican off guard. Shibo then punched Jican from the front, which stunned him for yet another moment. He used this opportunity to deliver one of his newer attacks. "Majin... RUSH!", Shibo exclaimed. Jican attempted to turn around and block the attack, but he was too late.
Shibo began to deliver a combo of punches and kicks on Jican, which did not do a lot of damage due to his Majin skin. However, they did give Shibo enough time to roll himself up into a ball, and charge up ki. He now looked like a pink ball with green flames coming off of it. He then rammed straight into the stunned Jutsu. Jican wasn't able to retaliate, and since Shibo aimed his attack towards the ground, a second later and Jican was put into another crater. "Hey, that was pretty good!", Jican said. Despite being in the heat of battle, he was proud of his friend for mastering a new move. But Jican had a few new tricks of his own.
As Shibo was about to attack yet again, Jican countered with a swift kick to the stomach. Shibo flinched in pain, giving Jican the last opening he needed to finish the battle. He delivered another flurry of punches, and finished by launching Shibo into the air. Shibo regained his strength, and attempted another Majin Rush. Jican put his hands together, and a yellow ball of ki began to appear. Lightning bolts began to spark from the ball, and it got increasingly bigger and bigger. As Shibo charged at Jican, he kept holding the blast. He held it, even when Shibo got dangerously close. Then, when he was only a few feet away, he unleashed his attack. "Let's finish this! SHOCK BUSTER!", Jican yelled.
The beam burst from Jican's hands and straight at Shibo. If Jican decreased his power, even a little, then Shibo would ram into Jican. They'd been fighting for awhile now, and he couldn't afford to be hit again unless he wanted to lose. Shibo tried pushing through the beam. His force split the beam into seemingly thousands of smaller ones, all refracting off of Shibo's Rush attack. They both began to get tired, but in the end Jican was the one with a tad more strength. Shibo got tired of using his attack, and accidentally stpped for a second. This gave Jican the opportunity to put the last reserve of his strength into his blast, which pushed Shibo into a giant rock. Bruised and defeated, Shibo gave the signal which meant he had forfeited. "Alright, geez.... you win...", Shibo said between gasps for air. "Woo! That was awesome!", Jican exclaimed. It was true. That had been the most intense sparring match they had had in awhile. The two fell on the ground, and fell sound asleep.
Shibo was the first one to wake up of the two. He turned to his right to see Jican, snoring as he usually does in his sleep. He dusted himself off, and began to take a short walk. He came across a rock that looked rather comfortable to sit on, and sat on it. Shibo looked up at the yellow sky. He didn't regret falling into hell. The action, the danger, and the fighting is what he had trained to be a part of. He remembered his family back home, and his fatal encounter with Etoru. He sighed, stood up, and put his hands in his pants pockets. "Mom, Dad..."
