The sound of crunching snow under his footsteps was the only real satisfaction Hazerru got from this agonizingly cold weather...The North sucked major ass. Definitely Hazerru's least favorite region so far, just for his sheer hatred towards the extreme climate. He clutched his hands together inside the pockets of his thick coat, joints barely cooperating. Atleast he was smart enough to dress for the occasion. Thick hiking boots, thermal pants, multiple layers of clothing, a warm poofball hat, you name it. The north did seem to be a lot less populated than the other regions, though, as it had seemed like an eternity that he last met another person.

Suddenly, an explosion sounded in the distance, sparking his interest.

Any normal person would run, but being isolated from society for multiple days...He'd take what he can get. Maybe someone got in a car accident? Hazerru slowly lifted himself from the ground, floating into the air slowly. Smoke and rubble could be seen in the distance, along with two very weird looking figures...Blue? As Hazerru got closer, it became clear as to what the explosion was. He really felt like just leaving then and there, pretending he never saw anything, but didn't. Because reasons.

Hazerru floated downwards and landed in the snow before the two huge, blue muscled figures, a look of confusion on his face. More weird cosplayers? Who the hell paints their entire body blue and goes around shirtless in the damn snow? ''Uhh-...'' He let out, the ridiculousness of the situation clear in his tone. He leaned his body to the side, gazing towards the giant pile of rubble and smoke behind the two. ''I'm just gonna assume you guys did that... What gives?'' Hazerru asked them in a somewhat weirded out tone.

''So what you're telling me is you're zombies...?'' Hazerru sounded more disappointed and pissed off than anything, obviously not believing a word the two were saying.

That is...Until they merged together.

Hazerru's eyes widened at the shocking transformation, firmly having believed his entire life that such things were impossible. His jaw dropped to its lowest point, confused murmurs and noises coming from his mouth. ''Okay...Half-dead reality warping twin dude...Let's say I believe that now...'' Hazerru croaked, a bead of sweat running down his forehead...No way in hell he could even stand up to this monster, right? ''You're still gonna try and kill me aren't you?'' His concerns were almost instantly replied to by being charged again. Hazerru replied in a quick yelp, the huge gap in their speed and power overwhelming him as the brute struck him clean in the jaw multiple times, sending his body flying into the snow face-down. A pulsating pain emanated throughout his entire head, shaky vision locked on the droplets of blood trickling onto the snow from his bleeding mouth and nose. The boy gritted his teeth, tears welling in his eyes as the realization hit him. He was going to die here by these two, helpless and alone. They weren't human...Talking wouldn't help, not this time. He had to fight.
There was no other choice.

The sound of is heartbeat echoed through his being, Hazerru froze up.

A terrible ringing in his ears, yet no reaction. Something began to course through him...Raw, pure survival instinct.

Power.

His heart beat again, the snow around him bursting away to leave him in a cracked crater.
His muscles began to define themselves to an extreme extent, with it coming an intense burning pain that left Hazerru screaming out in agony. This power was unlike anything he had ever felt before, the first time he was truly in danger...In danger of death.
When it was over, Hazerru was sweating and panting intensely as he stood up, trying to process what just happened to him. He inspected his own body quickly before locking gazes with the brute once more, a visible aura of white ki lifting the snow from its position.
''How about I send you back instead?'' He threathened as his fighting stance returned, taken over by his primal instinct to stay alive. The boy rushed forward with speed unlike he ever experienced, lashing out towards his gigantic chest in a flurry of intense blows. Whether or not these would connect, Hazerru would follow up by charging Ki into his hands and thrusting his palms foward, releasing a barrage of Ki towards the two.

The boy thrusts his palms forward before firing off a barrage of yellow tinted Ki orbs. These charge at 33% per turn (IE: 33% > 66% > 99% > 132% > 165% )

The instant the ki blast was fired, the terrible pain came back, much worse than before. It struck him like a blade to the chest, reducing him to his knees as he desperately gasped for air. The pain returned him to his senses, suddenly feeling much less violent and confident than before. Yet it also made him forget about the 7 foot tall blue brute charging him. Once the shadow came into view, horrified eyes peered up to meet with the twins' fierce gazes. Hazerru had no time to prepare for the world of hurt he was about to be in, too late to protect himself. The barrage of fists numbed his entire body and broke multiple of his bones, his skin slightly burnt around the places where he was struck.
His beaten and broken body flung itself toward the snow several feet away, tumbling and crashing like a ragdoll. Hazerru layed there in the snow, on his back. Barely able to move his muscles or stay conscious. Whatever power surge he just went through, it seemed to do way more harm to him than it did to his opponent.

Hazerru struggled to get back on his feet, yet somehow succeeded. His inexperience was his downfall, never had he ever been in a true battle, where his life was on the line. The physical pain he was going through was completely unknown to him, the stress and pressure that came with it unlike anything he had ever felt before. His opponent seemed to be as durable as ever, barely phased by his gigantic boost in power. Realizing he couldn't win, Hazerru turned around as he lazily lifted a hand. ''I give up! You're too strong, so-...'' Hazerru suddenly dashed into the sky and flew away with all of his remaining strength. ''SEEYA!'' And just like that, Hazerru abandoned the fight with as much speed as he could gather. Ofcourse he knew he wouldn't be getting away that easily, he wasn't THAT stupid. Plus, his father taught him to always have a backup plan.

And he just so happened to have a neat little trick for situations such as this...

Just as expected, he was being chased around like a cat hunting for a mouse. A true classic. Hazerru knew damn well that he wasn't able to hold his lead for much longer, as his pursuers were easily double his power. Hazerru took repeated, quick glances over his shoulder to see them inching closer and closer, Hazerru only growing more and more nervous. ''Don't you have anything better to do!?'' He shouted over his shoulder, veering to the right towards the base of a mountain, covered in a thick forest on pine trees coated in snow and ice. That's it. That was the place he could lose them and finally be rid of them. All he needed was a small head start...


Hazerru took a small breath and turned his body around to face the intimidating gazes of the twins. In a quick snap, Hazerru placed his hands infront of his forehead and closed his eyes tightly. ''SOLAR FLARE!'' He called out, a blinding flash of light piercing the thick snowy winds which would temporarily blind anyone unfortunate enough to look at it. After he used the technique, Hazerru dashed toward the forest he had set his sights on and dove straight in, bobbing and weaving through trees erratically until he felt he was deep enough. Hazerru halted his movement and hid behind a tree, panting heavily. The boy would occasionaly peek from the side to check on his...Blue smurf enemy thing, watching their movements closely.

Solar Flare [SU1]
A blast of light projected from the hands of the user to temporarily blind the opposition, plus any upset onlookers. Stuns for 1 round at 100% PL. Can disrupt a charging attack if the stun power level is within 80% of the opponent's attack's power level.

Did it work...? Hazerru continued to keep an eye on them from his hiding spot, questions in his mind multiplying by the second. His heartrate increased as he saw the two come to a complete standstill. They seemed...Uninterested. Bored, even. Were they not going to chase him anymore?
Hazerru looked on as the ogre twins simply left. Just like that, his death was averted. One thing bugged him greatly though. He didn't outsmart his opponents, nor did he beat them. They simply let him live because he wasn't worth their time!? ''...Rude!'' He remarked under his breath. In all honesty, Hazerru felt weak and insulted, not able to believe that his first real fight ended in his opponent losing interest completely. On the other end, though...He was still alive and kicking. NOT dead.
The boy let out a huge sigh of relief as his body relaxed. He slid down a tree trunk and placed himself under the cold, snow-coated tree, glad that he was able to rest for a moment. Something dawned on him though...This definitely wouldn't be the last time he would run into someone much stronger and more dangerous than him...He learned his place in the pecking order. At the bottom. So much for the ''Inhuman unique strength'' his father spoke of when he trained him...There were tons more like him out there. To them, he was a mere ant. Hazerru deeply regretted slacking on his training once he began his journey around the planet, swearing to himself to grow stronger for his own safety. The last thing he wanted to happen to him while travelling was dying. Obviously.

Atleast this encounter made him learn something, something he would never forget.
