Thread PL: 1,200The East Capitol, a fine place indeed, full of lively people and many things to do. But there was one strange thing, something not really anyone would ever expect. Walking around, would be a white, small, strangely shaped android with a cane and top hat. #227, was his number, and he couldn't really care less about how other people felt.
Whether it was how people felt about him, how people felt about other people, how people felt about the game. He just didn't care about other people's emotions and how they took things. Basically just proving further that he was a complete android. But back to what he's doing now, he had sat down at a cafe to have some coffee, though it didn't really have any effects on him.
It didn't satisfy him or quench his non-existent thirst, he just drank it as if he were a living being, Capper Hofferson
Capper really needed to sit down and just relax. He had had too much adventure for one week. Sighing, the saiyan looked down to his left foot. His precious foot had been crushed to the point of amputation when a giant rock fell onto it during a cave-in in the catacombs under Ginger Town. If Duri had just listened to him, this wouldn't have happened...! Capper's new metallic peg leg had proved difficult to walk with, the saiyan had found himself clinging to the walls as the sound of the springs crunching in the prosthetic rang quietly in his ears. Man... Everything sucked on so many levels as of late...
Stopping in front of a coffee shop, Capper leaned on a small table in front of the store, looking through the window. The scent of fresh donuts, coffee, and cake passing by his nostrils. Reaching into his pocket, Capper pulled out a small wad of Zeni- some cash he had been carrying around. There were a lot of small, but willing companies that wanted to sponsor his little race, and had received plenty of Zeni from them. It was more than enough to buy some blueprints and parts for his spaceship, which was now ready to go! But Capper decided he could really use a good ol' coffee break- his bones were tired and ready to give out, and a little energizing could be just what he needed.
Balancing precariously on his prosthetic foot, Capper raised his arms up a little, puffing out his cheeks as he let go of the wall and flailing his arms for a moment as he gained his balance on his new limb. Managing to stumble into the coffee shop, Capper momentarily gained his balance before slipping on a wet section of the floor, promptly letting out a startled 'eep' and falling flat on the side of his head after a bit of flailing. Some people in the shop looked up to the one-legged saiyan on the ground as he got back to his feet, brushing himself off a little. Managing to somehow regain balance and hop up on a seat a little bit away from a certain android drinking a bit of coffee, Capper just dropped his chin onto the counter, letting his tail sway behind him. Hopefully a little sugar and coffee would get him some motivation.
Casì had turned his attention to a small being that walked into the cafe, with their clothing a tail, it was obvious this boy was a Saiyan. He had tripped, allowing #227 to get a good look at a fake leg this boy had. He must have taken a very destructive injury to said leg to have it replaced. But, he got up and had a seat, drinking his own coffee, as Casi continued drinking his own.
But there was one thing that happened, something that came across Casi, the single emotion he can have...boredom. He had no idea why his creator thought it was a good idea, but he had to get rid of it. So he had decided to do what he usually does to get rid of it, that being talking. It also seemed that talking about things helped get rid of the boredom.
So, he got up from his chair, and went over to the table that the young Saiyan boy was sitting at. "Greetings young one, I am Casì, and you are?" He had waited to hear his name, as people looked over again, they had pity on Capper, knowing what usually came when #227 had a conversation with someone and they sticked to it. Capper Hofferson
Capper raised his chin off of the table as a peculiar individual sat down and joined him. Briefly turning his head, Capper caught sight of the rest of the coffee shop's customers eyeing him and this stranger for a moment, with... pity in their eyes? Was it because of his foot? Capper briefly wiggled his stump leg, oddly enough missing the feeling of his poor toes that were smashed to bits under the weight of that dumb bolder during that dumb cave in that Duri caused. Capper had begrudgingly ordered his Plexbits to amputate the limb after they got out of the catacombs somehow- the pain in his foot was too great and he really had no choice but to remove it- it was most likely smashed and broken beyond fixing- and Capper didn't have any Senzu beans on him. There were some growing back at his barn, but they took forever to bud and bear fruit...
The stranger introduced himself as Casi, asking for Capper's name in response. the saiyan straightened his posture, kicking his legs a little underneath the table. Blinking a few times, the mechanic shook his head and spoke to Casi, introducing himself. "Oh, uh... I'm Capper. I'm a technician from the Solar Empire- I know, I know, Saiyan technicians aren't really that common and all. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one!" Capper spoke meekly. He had never met another saiyan technician... Well, let alone another technician at all. Everyone he met were fighters! Capper would be overjoyed if maybe, just maybe, he could one day meet someone weak that loved mechanics like him. There was Valence- a bio-android Capper met that seemed to enjoy inventing and creating things- she did go to two universities that helped that sort of thing! But for now, the peg-legged saiyan sat, eyeing this Casi fellow and awaiting a response.
As he listened in, his interest peeked, slowly starting to lose his boredom. "I see...from the data, I have on the race known as Saiyans, that is pretty strange, yet at the same time interesting." #227 looked around, he knew exactly why these people were staring from months of listening in on their conversations.
Taking a sip of his coffee, he turned back to Capper. "So what brings you here in a place like this?" The android showed no emotions on his face...well even if he wanted to, it was impossible. his eyes were un-moving and couldn't even blink. It didn't help that he didn't have a mouth either...and there's the whole thing that he doesn't really have emotion either. Capper Hofferson
