Rebecca stood there, absorbing the knowledge being passed into her through their words. From what she could gather, it seemed that magic was very natural, but apparently those who are too in tune with their magic are sought after to be used and experimented on. Well, natural ones at least, as there were people like Carama who trained to be able to do his magic as efficiently as possible. And this Kashvar, along with Plato, had a distaste for those with said magic powers to threaten them in strength.
The next bit of information that she received that was of true importance to RED came from Carama's mouth. As the words left his mouth, her eyes widened a bit as she repeated, "Monsters?" There was a similar idea with how it worked, as it was kind of similar as to the ideology of the artificial intelligence in her. However from what it seemed, rather than occurring with what RED had, there was a different reaction with how the monsters within the bodies of these Konatsians reacted. Tilting her head, she couldn't help but ask, "Wait, what do you mean by that Carama?"
She then turned her head to face Fried, who had his hand outstretched as he wanted to demonstrate his magic, just as a way so that he doesn't over load. Blinking, she would have to make a comment, "Really? Damn, that must suck. Then again, I think I would enjoy it too much if I was forced to shoot something with energy. I mean, I don't want to seem weird and all, but I love the feeling of blowing shit up."
In fact, she was getting the urge to do just that right now. Keeping her grasp firmly on the rapier, she lifted it up and pointed it at a large boulder, that was five times her size. Focusing her energy in the tip of her blade, a visible ball of red energy forming off of the tip of her blade. A smile strewn on her face as she created her gleaming ball of energy, RED steadied her aim so that it would be true. Soon the ball of ki at the tip of her blade shined brightly, right before she completely launched it at the boulder, the Crimson Gleam1 shattering through the boulder, blowing its shards away.
A smile on her face, Rebecca chuckled as she let out a small, "Damn that felt good~"
1~ [UP2] Crimson Gleam used to destroy boulder. Not calculating PL, as I'm not attacking a person.

Freid felt a shudder go through himself when Carama mentioned the monsters of the Kashvar. To think that if he had been found as a child, he could've ended up like those poor souls with beasts sealed inside of them instead of as a Spellsword and Guardian as he was now... All it would've taken was a small mistake to become a host for one of those terrifying creatures. RED, meanwhile, once more showcased the kind of power she wielded back at the plaza during the introduction of the new king - and blasted an entire boulder to smithereens. Yeah, she was definitely stronger than Freid himself! Though compared to that weird scorpion humanoid back during that giant battle royal, they were probably both inferior - unless she was holding back. It was impossible to tell with androids.
"Believe me, nearly blowing up from magic overload does suck. ... But I'm not gonna say that I don't enjoy using it..." With a sheepish grin, Freid scratched the back of his head. He wasn't crass enough to put it like the female android, but yes, blowing something up with magic DID feel good, though he really preferred it if those things he was blowing up weren't actually alive. That didn't include androids, either - as far as he was concerned, the redhead was just as alive as him.
"Saved the planet from destruction so they could use us, I wouldn't exactly call that an achievement worth anything, Captain. I don't agree with just killing them all, but we didn't deserve either them OR Plato as our leaders. Everyone back where I'm from realized that mad wizards or a mad king isn't much different. Sorry, but I can't tell you where exactly I'm from because of it. You don't seem like a bad guy - I mean it - but you have a reputation, you and your entire Inquisition. Traitors to the people, then traitors to the Kashvar, now traitors to Plato... I hope you understand. People hate you."

Just as Rebecca finished demolishing the boulder and turned around, she noticed that Carama was nowhere to be seen. Eyes widening slightly, she tried scanning for his location, and it seemed he was speeding away to god knows where. With this slight realization, she started wondering how in the bloody hell he was able to do that so quickly at such a fast rate. Making a note to herself that she should learn how to move as fast and quiet as that, she turned her attention back to Fried, the only Konatsian who was actually real with her. Not like the ones who just saw her as one of the new people of Konats, but as an actual person. She actually liked it for a change, a good change up from being a slight inconvenience to some of SCAR.
And apparently the guy left without Fried noticing, as he was talking sternly about he respected Carama, but made it completley obvious that people did not like him or his kind very much. Letting out an exhale, Rebecca poked the back of Fried's shoulder.
"Uhhhh, buddy. He bolted, like, way the hell out of here. Dunno why, but he just booked it."
She was not the best at bringing such news like this, as it would more than likely brought down an awkward air around Fried, as Carama just left without a word at all. Looking down at the ground, she was trying to rack her mind in what to say, as she had rarely talked about things with such a stranger. I mean, she had plenty to talk about with the strangeness of the Bio-android Zyajin, Dr. Breech whom she could learn a lot from his aged wisdom, Contagion for his sadisticness... And SR-81 was completely on her block list, either that or the 'marked for scrapping' list, as the bucket of bolts had pissed her off many times before.
Yet with this person who was rather normal, she was quite hopeless at where to speak from here. In fact, so hopeless that she was rather pissed at herself for not even preparing to talk with someone actually worth her salt without being her superior. She needed to say something quick or else this conversation would be dead altogether from this point on.
Mustering up a smile, Rebecca would ask Fried, "Well... Um, quick question, how good are ya with that sword and all? All I know about using my sword is programmed... Essentially self-taught and all, so I wonder how others use their pointy stabby metal sticks and all."

"...Huh." A bit stunned, Freid looked after the leader of the inquisition bolting off into the distance. "...Well he's fast. Y'know, for a hound that never makes his own decisions." muttering that last bit under his own breath, he couldn't say that he was unhappy about Carama having left them behind here. He really DID want to help any people around here in danger of Kashvar attacks, but WITHOUT having to rely on a wildcard that had more betrayals to his name than anyone else - swords in the back where not the hybrid's idea of a fun time. Looking back at Rebecca, he was a bit stumped as to what to say - he had never really just... talked with a stranger, even a nicer one like her. Thankfully at least she had an idea.
"Oh, my sword? Well... Good question, really." With a fluid motion, Freid drew his red steel weapon, which glinted in the sun - not quite realizing that a strikingly red sword kind of gave away that he had been at that big fight in the middle of Ocariin City back when Maximillion was declared king. Thankfully they had all been on the same side back then. "I've been learning how to use it since... I dunno, since I could hold a training sword, pretty much. There are a few Guardians back home that taught me everything they knew - I'm better than all of my teachers by now. But I've got the same problem you do, I have no real basis for comparison... well, besides them. But I don't know how 'good' my teachers really were, on the grand scale of things." Spinning the blade in his hand for a brief moment, the hybrid sheathed the blade in another extremely fluid motion, wielding his weapon as if it were part of him.
"This one is single-edged, but I've learned how to wield dual-edged and two-handed blades as well. Thrusting swords... a bit less, but at least the basic forms. Teachers said they weren't as useful for the Guardian fighting style - said they're easier to break by accident when used together with Ki. But sadly, I have no idea how my learned style compares to your programmed one... I'd need to see you fight to give a true assessment. Or actually fight you myself, that would work even better. Not that I would ever want us to come to blows!"

Listening to Fried speak, a bit of a smile came across the lips of the artificial face of Rebecca, hearing at how he was apparently quite proficient at using his own sword. About as good as his teachers apparently, which really did not mean much as he was quite literally at the same strength as her currently. And the way he kept on talking, it felt like that he was more or less offhandedly insulting her own kind of fighting style, using her rapier which was a thrusting weapon, compared to his own sword. Her foot tapped against the dusty ground, just waiting for him to finish as she wanted to see where all of this went.
And it seemed that even Fried was wanting to judge how their fighting styles compared, one which was taught by others or one that was ingrained from knowledge that RED had been built with. It was now getting to a point where she was getting as restless as a wolf looking upon its prey, just waiting to pounce on him with her rapier in order to see who was much more proficient with such different swordplay philosophies.
"Well?"
She asked with a sly shrug, rapier still drawn out and pointed outward. Stiffening her own stance, she jabs the silver wulf downard and into the ground, putting both of her hands on the butt of her thrusting weapon in order put all of her weight atop it. Chuckling a little, she continued,
"You gonna put up or shut up, as I'm more than ready to clash my blade against yours. I've gotten considerably stronger since that incident with the god damn rebels, and you are quite literally at my level. Just off by less than a hundred units of power. This is probably as close in power as the two of us would get for the longest of ways, so I say why the hell not. And don't worry about me, I don't really feel that much pain, so you can use as much of your strength as possible."
Clicking her tongue a couple times, she ended with a swift, "You can even make the first move my Friedo Friend! So how 'bout it?"
Nothing done, just like in last posting round...
