Tekuma had felt the warm embrace of death, and had accepted it on the day she had finally perished. She'd been floating in a sort of blackness, not alive but not dead. It left her feeling weird.. wait.. could she feel? Where even was she? There was an odd tingling feeling coursing through her, despite the fact she couldn't open her eyes as she drifted on the blackness. No matter what, all she remembered were the two titans and extreme pain, a blur before her eyes followed by the extreme, agonizing pain.
Subject Alpha 312 Online.
The young hybrid was surprised, words flashing across her mind as she suddenly took a breath, opening the eyes she had to see the world ablur as she began to adjust. There were murmurs in the background, the female feeling coldness in one of her eyes and some of her limbs. Upon touching them, they still felt cold as her eyes finally adjusted to the bright lights and the Blue Banner officials surrounding her. They seemed to be cheering as she sat up, happy their endeavors had yielded fruit in terms of bringing this girl back.
What.. What's going on? I..
Turning her head to the mirror on the operating table's stand, she stared as one of her eyes stayed put, a purely red eye blinking back at her. In turn, she moved her previously missing limbs and felt they worked fine, but on closer look realized they were synthetic, metallic and cold to the touch. It jarred her senses, and her one organic eye spread wide in shock. A doctor spoke to her, talking to her with a careful tone.
"It is good to see you've awakened, Tekuma. How are you adjusting to your new limbs? I trust they are not giving you problems?" His voice was smooth, each doctor waiting to hear Tekuma's slow response. "I.. I guess I'm adjusting alright? I mean I don't know, I've never been a robot.. am I even alive? I barely feel anything in my synthetic limbs, and why can't I feel my other eye?"
A soft sigh came from a scientist by the wall, her tone quiet. "We don't have as much technology as we'd like in this regard, but you will be getting upgrades as time progresses on and we gain technological advances. Once they are safe to use, we will implant them where your old body parts used to be."
The doctors checked her over, giving her the okay to move out of the room and to continue her duties as normal, the female cyborg stumbling slightly as she accustomed to her new metal limbs. Every time she thought, it was purely binary code. Sure, she understood what it meant, but seeing the ones and zeroes flash across her robotic eye left her dizzy slightly and dazed. She was immortalized as a Blue Banner Cyborg, but was this really a good thing?
I know I told ViPoi to make me into a BBA robot if I ever died.. but this is still so... weird. There's all these ones and zeroes flashing across my eye and it makes me dizzy, why are all my thoughts binary coding? Am I just a husk of a soul in a dead body? Will my organic parts decompose?
Subject Alpha 312, or Tekuma so to speak. I am your AI, here to aid you in exploring the world through cybernetics. If you will notice, your thoughts can make me do things. I can scan anyone and give you their registration in the BlueNet, the BBA's private network. If you have questions, I can search the interface for your answer.
The cyborg couldn't help but shiver, a bit creeped out that there was this sort of.. thing living within her. Technically not living, it still made her weird just the same. She could only hope but to adjust to whatever the hell her AI was and use it to the maximum potential she could. She went towards the elevator and headed for the bunkers, going to her room to sit and muse over what happened.
