The sun was still just barely above the Eastern horizon and the sands of the Diablo Desert were already starting to heat up. Nai-Ran slithered groggy-eyed back to her cave dragging a large pot of water alongside her. The previous night hadn’t been a pleasant one for her.
Following her return back to her cave with Emer, the Ryashi had managed to finally convince him to get some much needed sleep. She swore that she would end up having a heart attack if he kept abusing his body like he had been. Once Emer had finally fallen asleep, she had carefully draped one of her new blankets over him. It was a little feminine looking with its silky texture and bright pink color, but the desert tended to get cold at night so she figured it would be better than nothing. Afterwards she had done a little bit of redecorating with the things she had purchased from Satan City. While all she did was add a makeshift sleeping chamber at the very back of the cave and arrange her new cookware along the wall, it was already looking more hospitable. All in all, the first part of the evening hadn’t been horrible. That’s where the good part had ended for her though...
Once she had been absolutely positive that her new friend was completely out for the night, she made a beeline for her favorite hunting ground on the very edge of the desert, deciding to bring one of her new pots with her since it was right next to the stream. Most races ate multiple meals per day unlike Ryashi, so she figured that she might as well bring back some water in preparation for the morning meal. That wasn’t her main reason for venturing out there though.
Ever since she had mixed her blood with Emer’s and lived through all of his memories in the process, Nai-Ran hadn’t been able to make herself stop shaking. Living through an entire lifetime of pain and abuse within the blink of an eye wasn’t exactly something someone who had lived a rather privileged, upper crust lifestyle up until very recently could just shrug off. It’s not like she could have just lied on the ground and sobbed for an hour about it at the time either. For her entire life, it had been ingrained into Nai-Ran’s head that she had to keep up an appearance of grace and refinement whenever in the presence of others. Nobody was allowed to see her cry or lose her temper. As someone who had been groomed for the longest time to eventually become a leader, she had to make herself appear to be able to carry the weight of world without batting an eye. She couldn’t keep slipping up like she had earlier!
Once she had reached the stream, Nai-Ran weakly dropped the pot to the ground with a soft clang. She pressed her back against the bark of one of the trees that grew along the bank and buried her face in her hands. The young woman began sobbing uncontrollably; the dam of willpower that had previously held back her tears had finally broken. How long had it been since she had cried like this? The serpentine lass vaguely recalled spilling a tear or two in her room after her father had recommended that she undertake the Ritual of Discovery, but that paled in comparison to how she wept now.
Hugging her tail tightly to her chest as more and more tears cascaded down her cheeks, Nai-Ran wanted to curl into a ball and disappear. That wasn’t an option though, even if she somehow gained the power to do so. She had to look to the future, both distant and immediate. Back on her home world, her father was depending on her to return as someone fit to take his place when it was time for him to step down. Back at her cave, there was someone whose freedom depended on her. Besides, Emer had gone through the exact same thing that she had, only his lasting effects were both mental and physical. He might have been looking forward to talking with someone about it since she had already seen everything about him. She needed to stay strong. However, here while alone under the stars, she could afford to be weak for just a little while longer.
By the time dawn had come, Nai-Ran had woken up to realize that she had passed against the tree she had spent a large portion of the night crying against. She had to hurry up and get back to the cave! The young woman filled the pot that had sat neglected on the ground all night before cleaning herself up in the stream. She wasn’t trembling anymore and felt like she could speak stutter-free, however she got the feeling that she was going to have nightmares about everything that had transpired for quite some time.
Finally arriving back at the cave with her pot filled with water, she saw that Emer was still sound asleep. That was a relief. He didn’t necessarily have to know about anything that had transpired last night. It was better off that way. She hoisted the metal contained onto the makeshift fire pit she had made in front of the cave last night and lit the wood underneath it with her ki. A basic soup would be easy enough to make. The young woman slithered over to her recently dug up space pod and started digging through the chilled food that she had been storing in there, trying to figure out what her new friend could actually eat.

It had taken a while for Nai to convince Emer to fall asleep. He had however denied her offer to sleep within the cave, instead the young Kagami slept outside underneath the cliff. It seemed to be a nice night too, the winds where soft and barely brushed against him. The weather had calmed down slighly the temperature dropped, and the air wasn't so humid as it had been in the past. During the night though, the memories of Emer's kept playing within his sleep. It seemed that even at such a peaceful night, he wouldn't be able to sleep perfectly. Suddenly a bird seemed to squak out echoing in the cave beside him. Waking up panting it seemed that Emer was covered in sweat. Looking around a bit, he noticed that Nai wasn't anywhere in sight.
Standing up slightly Emer allowed his body to stretch, it seemed that his wounds where doing better. It was a good idea to sleep after all... The girl had won this time at least... Even though he couldn't see Nai, he could smell the fire burning. It had been a wonderful smell to him, something he enjoyed highly... It wsa always nice to wake up to something that had been the only peace he had known in his life. The only time he could relax was when he had started a fire and stayed near it. Saiyans never cared for the embers and fire, saying that it would reveal them to the enemy. Walking around a bit, he saw the smoke rising not to far from the entrance of the cave. Well, knowing the woman she'd be down by the fire, and making sure she kept everything in check.
Looking down on the ground, Emer saw a blanket had been put over him, a small laugh came from his lips as he walked over to the small pink blanket. Indeed it was a bit feminine... but it was the thought that counted, and he couldn't deny that he was happy about that. Shaking his head, he walked into the cave placing the blanket across a rock that was close to her bed chambers. Soon he felt Alith stirring within him, she seemed to be a bit restless right now, and it couldn't be helped that they both shared a mind at the moment. He began to walk out of the cave when she let out a rather large yawn through his own mouth. 'Morning Emer... It seems that you had a long night... I hope those memories didn't bother you too much... Then again I should know since I saw them myself...'
As he stepped out into the light, the sun had been rising at the moment. 'It was a nice night... To bad I had those memories to accompany me that night... But for now, I'll need to take a bath. I smell like a caveman, and it wouldn't be polite to show up smelling like this at the moment... Not to mention that I am still sweating right now...' Alith began laughing inside of his head, it was the first time she had heard the man speak like this. But this is how he was when he lived back with a true owner, and hadn't been with the Saiyans army. Every day he'd take a shower in the morning, just so that he could enjoy his day without smelling as if he had been in a stable. Rising into the sky slightly looking around, he remembered that Nai had pointed out a stream last night... It would be a nice place to bathe.
Spotting it in the distance, Emer flew off towards the stream. 'I don't know why a stream is going through this desert, but it must lead down to what they call an oasis... A place in a desert where the water gathers into a big pool...' He was thinking to himself as he began to follow it towards the south. It didn't take long for him to find where it had been coming from. On the other side of the mountain was a river that had been overflowing a bit, and was escaping by flowing down the mountain creating a stream. 'That will be perfect, this way I can wash away the sweat, and I'll be able to wash my hair at the same time... Sleeping in dirt is not exactly hygienic even for me...'
Landing down near the falling stream, it wasn't falling down fast and hard as a waterfall, it was more like a gentle shower. Reaching up towards the top of his cowl, Emer undid the buttons that kept it up, the piece fell down towards the ground, reaching up, he also removed the bandage around his torso. As it fell down, he could see his wounds healing nicely, it seemed that they would form into scars after all... It was to be expected considering he didn't really allow the doctors to treat him fully. Bringing his hand up to his mouth, he removed the bandage around his hand, the fresh wounds from the other day still there. The fingernail prints leaving a nice indention in them, along with a small puffiness to them. Reaching down, he removed his black gi like pants.
Underneath it all, he wore what one would call a pair of boxers. He had recently purchased them on earth, they fit a lot better than the lion cloth he had been wearing. Walking up to the waterfall, he stuck his head into it. It had been cold, almost like it had been melted from pure ice. His teeth chattered for a moment and finally ended. It felt nice to finally bath, he had been transferred from one fight to earth... No restroom breaks, and no showers either... Suddenly he walked under the stream fully, and allowed it to run down his body, it was a nice feeling for him. It caused his muscles to relax, any grime on his body had been washed away. And he felt as if his worries could be washed away too. Looking down at his body, it reminded him of what he had been through.
His back had receieved the worst of all his wounds. It seemed to be just random tissue connected together, not even skin. With all the different colors and shapes of the scars and burns. His legs looked as if he had rain through the barbwire fence. His hands looked as if he had been beating them against rocks his entire life. A crazy sounding laugh came from him as he closed his eyes. 'Damn, I'm pathetic that I let this body of mine bother me all the time... I need to get over it, I sound pathetic complaining about it all the time... I figured that blocking my emotions would allow that... But she seemed to make me forget about controlling those emotions... It was nice to have someone worry about me... God I'm a pussy... Hoping that someone cares for me.' Alith was being quiet through all this, she didn't want to interrupt the time he could let himself be free.
Small tears flowed in with the stream as the water ran down his body... He spoke softly to himself..."I think... If I want to destroy the saiyans... I'll have to find their strongest warriors, and kill them... Then find the king, and end all of this madness, by destroying him and their planet..." He looked up towards the sky, as the it lit up in almost a purple hue due to the rising sun... "But... should I really do it alone? That Acrosian offered me his help... Maybe I could take him up on that..."

The Ryashi poked around the chilled contents of her pod, noticing that just about everything in here was some kind of protein. Personally, Nai-Ran was just fine with that. As far as she was concerned it was almost always the best part of the meal, and plenty juicy when cooked right. She might have had to look into getting a bigger variety depending on Emer’s tastes though.
Rabbit... Boar... Fish... Fish maybe? She had a couple of potatoes that had been given to her by the farmers she had helped as well. Perhaps she might be able to make something out of that. Nai-Ran had also just bought a bunch of spices that she could experiment with. Eager to see what she could whip up that wasn’t just another hunk of spit-roasted meat, the serpentine lass quickly got to work filleting and dicing her ingredients. By the time she was finished, the water in the pot had been brought to a roaring boil.
The Ryashi tossed in the fish, potatoes, and a bunch of spices that she thought smelled complimentary. After everything had been boiling in the pot for a bit, it actually started smelling appetizing. While she wasn’t actually planning on partaking of the meal herself, she might have to sneak in a quick taste of her handiwork. Nai-Ran extinguished the flames and slithered off to go see if Emer was awake yet only to find him missing. She couldn’t quite decide whether or not it was a good thing that he was up and about. Oh well, she would figure that part out when she found him. The young woman knew she had pointed out the stream to him last night before she had gotten him to go to sleep. There weren’t many other places to look around the area, so that would be the most likely place to look.
Nai-Ran crossed her arms over her chest after arriving at her usual spot. Emer was nowhere in sight. He didn’t seem like the type to just skip out on someone like that. So where did he disappear to? The young woman lightly tapped her fingers on her arms and closed her eyes. There had to be something she was missing here...
Suddenly, she felt something go off in her mind. It was a bit difficult to describe. It was sort of similar to a blip on a radar, but instead of seeing it in front of her she was feeling it out. Didn’t Instructor Re-Za describe such a sensation to her once? Now that she thought back on it, she remembered that he had indeed spoken of it before. That was a ki signature that she was sensing! It felt near, too.
The serpentine lass followed the stream and the newly sensed ki signature to the South leading up to Mt. Paozu. The further she followed it, the stronger the blip in her mind felt. This little technique was proving to be quite useful. The water made a sudden sharp turn around a large rock formation. Nai-Ran could hear the sounds of a waterfall up ahead. Emer was right around the corner; she could feel it.
”Ah, so this is where you wandered off to. I-“ Nai-Ran called out in a chipper tone as she rounded the corner, hands folded neatly in front of her. However, her voice cut out as soon as she laid eyes upon the scene before her. The young woman had found Emer, alright. His back was to her, showing off a whole heap of scars and burn marks she hadn’t seen before since they had been concealed by his clothing. His clothing... Wait a second, his clothing wasn’t on! Nai-Ran had slithered in on the guy when he was in the middle of bathing!
The Ryashi’s face immediately turned a shade of red that nearly matched her eyes, which were practically bulging out of her head at this point. ”I... Umm,“ she squeaked before covering her face with her hands and slithering back around the corner, pressing her back against the rock formation. ”Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry!“ Her heart felt like it was trying to pound its way out of her chest. At this point, she had completely forgotten about why she had come out to look for him in the first place.

As Emer was sitting within the water formation that had been dropping down on him, he heard the woman behind him. It seemed that he hadn't noticed she was coming up behind him, till he heard her calling out to him, but it seemed that she stopped short. And her could guess why, it was because here he was taking a bath, and she had basically walked in on him, even though there wasn't anything around to designate this as it's own natural source. A small laugh escaped his lips. "Do not worry, I don't mind..." He stated before walking out of the small water stream falling down on him. It wasn't like him to let his mind wonder that much, not to hear anyone approaching on the ground.
He walked over to his clothes, pulling them over his wet body, it felt good to finally get himself bathed. And it felt great to have everything washed away, even his worries and sins at the moment. Suddenly he remembered that Nai-Ran was still there. A small smile appeared on his face as he thought about teasing the girl. After donning his boxers and pants, he stuck his head around the corner to see that she was turning red, and she was letting out what felt like small quick breathes as if she had seen something she never expected to see in her life, and that she shouldn't of seen. As his starred at her slightly, a small smile appeared on his face as he began to stretch around the corner.
At first with the rock formations, Nai-Ran would see that he was still topless as he walked around towards her, she couldn't see his lower half as he was approaching. "You seem as if you had seen the biggest taboo of your life. Then again, I'd probably have the same reaction if I saw someone with a body that has been mutilated like this." He stated as he was slowly walking around the corner. He seemed to be using a small cloth that was in his pocket to dry off his hair. It was generally a head band, but it served other purposes at times when it needed too. As he finally reached around the corner, she could see that he had his pants on. Though it seemed to take him forever to walk around the corner, as he had done it slow on purpose, to make her mind wander a bit.
Even he liked to play a good joke once in a while. Alith was laughing in his mind. 'My god, you are a mean one. Playing the poor girl like this, I mean I know how she's feeling I too once stumbled upon a guy, and I know that mere seconds seem like eternity for something to happen, and here you are, taking all the time in the world to walk around the corner just so you could have some fun.' A small smile came to Emers face as he stood in front of Nai-Ran. "It seems that you're turning a different shade of red, by the way that squeak back there was kind of cute." He said adding on to his little torture like game as he now stood directly beside her. His left arm towards her right as he leaned against the wall beside her.
'She seems to be experiencing a very arousing stimulation Emer. And no one but you can be blamed about that... Sides what in the world where you thinking letting your guard down that long? I mean in the goddesses name, you should of known that something like this would happen. It could of been another woman, or it could of been a male that stumbled across ya. You don't know how many people live in this region after all.' A small tsk went off in his head, as he retorted back at Alith. 'Doesn't matter who see's me, I think that humans are disgusting anyways, and they don't interest me in the slightest, always causing war with one another, and having this thing they call sexism. We Kagami see men and women as equals, there is no separation of powers... We lived in harmony for a long time, with women holding equal power.'
He looked again at Nai-Ran and a small smile come on his face, she looked like a little girl nearly, at least it brought more youth to the young woman. And it had made him laugh right beside her as he looked down at himself. He smiled slightly and shook his head. 'Though her reaction over most things, has me wondering if she's ever seen a male like this. Then again back on her home planet the males don't have legs from what I understand. But then that makes me wonder, how the species is able to reproduce, I'm sure it's similar to when snakes do so...' He stood there for a moment thinking it over before shaking his head, and getting a small eerie feeling over his back. 'Then again, the females sometimes kills the male on certain species after mating... That doesn't sound fun...'
Turning his head to her for a moment, a weird thought came to his mind, he didn't dare speak it to her. But... All snakes had a certain time of year, where they'd be ready to mate... And well it was a strange thing to wonder about, does she become like the snakes he had read about, where they start becoming sensitive to things, and trying to seek out a mate. It could explain her reaction right now, considering the sensitivity boost... Suddenly he found himself thinking about these things before he himself turned red a little bit. Finally deciding to break the awkward silence that had settled between them he looked over at Nai with a soft smile. "So... I hope you had a nice night..." Great way to start a conversation Emer, bring up last night.

The Ryashi’s chest heaved up and down in a manic rhythm. This was no good at all; she had to regain control of herself! Nai-Ran tightly closed her eyes and focused on nothing but her breathing, trying to calm her heart rate down a bit. It was actually working out fairly well. She could feel her face start to cool down as it slowly returned to its normal color. Everything was just fine.
Nai-Ran’s eyes remained closed while she was still trying to make sure she was 100% in control of herself. She only opened them when she heard Emer start to speak to her again. ”Oh, no. I honestly didn’t mean-“ Once again, her voice cut out when she saw Emer. He was poking his upper half around the corner of the rocky surface that she was still pressed against. Just like before, he was completely bare from what she could see of him. Did... Did he seriously not get dressed before coming to talk to her?!
Every bit of emotional tranquility that she had regained vanished before her very eyes. Her face returned to its earlier shade of bright red, and her eyes widened once more. Wh-what did he think he was doing?! It was bad enough that she had already beheld him once in such a state. This sight wasn’t meant for the eyes of an unmarried young woman! If that wasn’t enough, he was getting closer, gradually revealing more of himself. ”Wh-Wh-Wh-What are... I... Uh... You...“ she sputtered nervously as she inched away from him along the smooth surface of the rock. It was more of an instinct than anything else, as she wasn’t actually sure what moving such a small distance away was supposed to actually accomplish. Her eyes darted around wildly as he continued to draw near, desperately trying to find something else to focus on that wasn’t the nude man in front of her.
When Emer had finally revealed himself in full to Nai-Ran, she breathed a sigh of relief. Apparently the man was wearing pants after all. She placed a hand over her chest, feeling her heart thumping wildly against it. He moved in front of her and briefly teased her about her reaction before standing beside her against the rock formation. ”I-I-Is that so? Ahaha...“ she replied sheepishly, trying and failing to play is cool by adding in an unconvincing laugh. The serpentine lass could feel herself shrink a little bit. Emer certainly seemed to enjoy teasing her about her embarrassment. Either way, the red on her face was definitely taking its precious time in fading away.
Silence fell over the both of them. The young woman lightly bit her bottom lip as she tried once more to calm her breathing down. It was starting to work, though it was a slow process. She stole a quick glance up at Emer’s face and noticed that he wore a bit of an odd facial expression. What was he thinking about, exactly? Perhaps it was for the best that she didn’t find out...
”Oh... Uh... I-It was alright,“ she responded once the silence had been broken. It was a blatant lie. That was alright with Nai-Ran though, considering that she didn’t want to speak of her break down by the stream. ”H-H-How about y-you? Did you s-s-sleep well?“ Nai-Ran seriously hoped that turning into a nervous wreck and fumbling with her words wasn’t going to become a common thing for her. Her father would be absolutely livid with her if he saw her like this, especially considering what had triggered it in the first place.
At that moment, she remembered what had brought her upstream looking for him in the first place. ”Umm... Emer, Kagami eat m-m-more than once per d-day, right? I’ve pr-prepared a morning m-meal if you w-wish to take p-part in it. It’s n-nothing fancy. Just a fish a-a-and p-potato soup.“ She figured that if it turned out that he either didn’t need morning meals or couldn’t eat what she had whipped up for whatever reason, she could always save the soup for later. She still wasn’t sure how well it had turned out, only that it had smelled alright.

Emer stood there for a moment watching her, it had been funny to see her walk away from him, and then her stuttering just made the experience even more enjoyable, finally it seemed to him that she ended recovered slightly, when she began to talk about last night, then again he was responsible for that. A small smile appeared on his face as he looked over at her and nodded gently. "It was a pleasant night, though the memories kept playing, I was able to sleep through the entire night. I think it's because I've already come to accept them as they hardly bother me much anymore." He said looking a bit serious this time. Shaking his head slightly, she spoke about how she had been alright last night. Which surprised him.
Getting off the wall slightly the young kagami stretched his body a little bit. When she spoke of if he ate in the morning he nodded slightly, "I do eat in the morning." Suddenly she mentioned something about fish and soup... He was slightly confused at these two words as he tilted his head slightly. "Fish? What is this thing that you call Fish and Soup?" A confused look seemed to be on his face, as he looked at Nai ran before he spoke to her. "As a Kagami I've never tried anything other than fruit, and certain vegetables, so I'm afraid I don't know what this thing is that you call Fish. Or what it is that you call soup..." She could tell from his voice that the Kagami was being honest about this so called food.
Suddenly it seemed that Alith wished to talk to him, 'Hey you do know that fish is those things in the water right? I mean sure you've never seen one or what it was called, but a fish is something that most species eat for a bit of protein, and some even consume the fat, or oil from them to get a stronger heart.' "Ahh I see, so that is what it is huh... Well I guess it couldn't hurt to try it out after all... I had a pretty lady cook it for me, the last thing I wanna do is turn her down on the meal, it wouldn't be nice." He said smiling at Nai before reaching down and grabbing her hand. "And you need to stop being embarrassed by me so much." He said before dragging her towards the camp.
The smell of the dying fire was nice, and a new aroma was with it, as the smell of fish and soup filled his nose. It smelt nice and then there was another smell that made his nose twitch and he muttered a growl. His entire presence changed as he let go of the woman. Suddenly a few saiyans walked out from around the mounds of sand surrounding their camp. It seemed that they had been following the smell, and haven't spotted to two of them, thinking quickly Emer pinned Nai to the cliff and whispered to her. "This is pathetic, I mean there's saiyans ahead of us. It seemed they had been attracted by your food... Knowing them they'll try to take it for themselves..."
Looking down at Nai, he blinked slightly, in his quick actions he hadn't taken into account that he was still topless. And being at his height, most girls would be at his stomach, but Nai was taller than most. So she was sitting at his chest. He felt himself turn red slightly before looking around a bit, "Sorry... Wasn't thinking clearly there as they here..." Looking past the tree slightly he let a small sigh escape his lips. "There seems to only be three of them, so it'll be easy to take care of them... " She could look up in his eyes as he starred at the saiyans. They held no emotions for them, in fact it almost looked like a predator stalking it's prey.

Nai-Ran was starting to calm down again. She was glad to hear than Emer had gotten a good night’s worth of sleep for the most part. However, she couldn’t help but feel saddened at the fact that he could speak about the horrible atrocities that had taken place in his past like they were nothing. Leading a life filled with almost nothing but those kinds of memories made it make sense as a sort of defense mechanism. Still, nobody should have ever had to resort to that just to preserve their sanity. ”Hey... I’m not sure if my words mean anything for you or if you’re comfortable doing this in the first place, but if you need someone to talk to about what’s happened in your life, I’m willing to listen.”
The young woman had been correct in her assumption that Kagami, like just about every other race she had encountered, generally ate morning meals. However, apparently she didn’t have when they usually ate. It was kind of bizarre thinking about going through life without eating any sort of meat, but that was just another difference between who they were and what background they came from. Either way, the space pod in which she stored her food was sorely lacking in fruit. Perhaps she would have to make it a point to make a trip to Mt. Paozu to see what she could find some that grew wild up there. While she was still pondering on when and where to look, Emer grabbed her hand and started leading her back home. He had made a comment about how she kept getting embarrassed around him in the process. ”That’s... a bit complicated. I mean no offense by it,” she sighed as they made their way back to the sand dunes.
As the two of them approached the cave, Nai-Ran felt that same blip in her head from earlier go off again. Wait, why were there ki signatures coming from her cave? It was all the way out in the middle of nowhere, so who would just be wandering by like that? Emer suddenly tensed up and released her hand; whatever was there, he felt it too. The young woman caught a quick glimpse of the invaders as they walked into view. Right away she recognized the furry tails that they possessed. Uh oh, they were Saiyans...
Suddenly, Emer pinned her against the cliff, whispering to her about what was ahead and their likely intentions. Upon realizing that he was still clothed only from the waist down, he quickly apologized but didn’t move. Nai-Ran could again feel herself blush again at how close they were, but she wasn’t nearly as flustered as she had been earlier. She didn’t have time to be. There was a problem here that needed to be dealt with before it got out of hand. She knew for a fact that Emer wasn’t going to like the decision she was about to make, but she couldn’t let him fight them.
”Wait a moment,” she said quietly before twisting her torso and slipping out of his grasp. ”You’re still injured. How do you expect those wounds of yours to close up if you launch yourself into fights like that?” Nai-Ran knew all too well that the Kagami had history with Saiyans. Just being what they were was enough to send him into a rage. It was all the more reason why she felt that he should sit out this fight. ”I’m going to have to ask you to sit this one out. I know you’re not going to like it, but you’re going to have to trust me on this one. Besides, perhaps it’s best for you to learn now that I can handle myself when it comes to combat. What good am I if I am unable to even defend my own home?”
Without giving Emer the chance to protest, she slithered out from behind him and made her way over to the three Saiyans that had happened across her desert cave. As she moved, Nai-Ran held her hand out behind her as if to signal him to wait there. Not only that, but she made sure to carry herself at a much taller height than usual, sitting at around an even eight feet. That last thing the young woman wanted to do was appear small to these folks. Perhaps they would leave without too much of a fuss if she didn’t appear to be the type they could dominate. ”Greetings, gentlemen. Is there something that I can help you with?” Nai-Ran asked as she approached the mouth of her cave.

(Alright, I'm here and I'm ready. Lets get to it! A quick note: My observable power level at the moment is higher than it appears, what with certain threads that need grading. To the effect, for this thread, consider me at, maximum, 30k Power level, I suppose... NOW LETS GET TO IT!)
Days had gone by since the hunter's quick brawl with the mercenaries. He had to force himself into adapting his body and trademark technique to its full efficiency, so that he could combat the mercenaries! What troubled him, though, was that they backed off way too easily. If they wanted to, they probably could've captured the half-breed saiyan then and there! However, they didn't. It was as if the leader was just simply observing Pieter's abilities and mannerisms to prepare his downfall. A feline, he observed in the past, would show a sadistically playful personality with their food. This, the hunter could say, was common in all cat-like beings he observed in Fukurou Forest. This instance, Pieter felt, was no different, which meant the hunter had to leave his dwellings at Mt. Paozu's base and head into the desert.
This environment was harsh on all its inhabitants and travellers. Pieter had been no different in this environment. The cracked Earth beneath barking feet felt hotter than a frying pan. He was sweating bullets, which was a problem out here in the desert, especially when it gets to night time, where the temperature suddenly drops to freezing! He needed to find a place to hunker down at, to be out of this weather. At the moment, Pieter was nothing more than an aimless wanderer trying to find his goal. Tsumuri and Oguma had vanished, as far as he could tell. His senses were still adapting to the world's various forces, though the range was expanding still!
He stared up at the sky, covering his eyes from the blazing sun searing into his skull. He found vultures flying overhead. He had seen very few vultures near Fukurou Forest, but he learned quickly of what they were: Carnivorous scavengers. Much like crows, they were drawn to death, whether it had happened or was about to. As he did, Pieter's head twitched, as he picked up the force of several others near by his location. Normally, Pieter would've assumed it was a animal and leave it be, yet two of these forces felt very big. One, in particular, felt naturally close to his own!
"Now, who's that," the hunter thought out loud. He turned to the direction he felt the energy and took a deep breath. The air filled his lungs easily, as well as expelling it. The dust around him immediately pushed back about five feet all around him, before he leaned forward. With a grunt, the hunter shot forward, a large cloud of dust being left behind in his wake!
(As a clarification, as well, his power will be considered to be at 15,000. Also, he does have his weights on.)

(OOC:Well, welcome to the thread Pieter As for Emer, since the topic before this was graded and yet added, I'd say his total is like 22,043 base, but with weights on he's sitting at a pretty 11k power level himself, Though in this topic, I told nai i felt like him going a bit insane, cause hes allowed someone to take on his emotions to. So right now he's confused as all hell why he can't feel the rage for the saiyans. Also I'm not counting all the threads before this one, as they haven't finished yet, His pl could be higher, but without grades that's for the past, My post will be separated just saying, As I told Nai I'd roleplay the Npcs And there's three of them atm and a fourth in hiding. So...may take me a bit ) Emer stood there for a moment as Nai seemed to twist and turn out from under him, he almost forgot how flexible snakes could be, and she was of course half of one. Shaking his head slightly he looked over at the girl as she began to approach the group of saiyans. A small sigh seemed to escape his lips as he began to walk away from her. It wasn't his choice to let the saiyans go without killing them, but Nai had told him not to interfere. And as being the one that owned his contract, he wouldn't intervene in this fight, regardless of what he wished for now. "Sometimes, I wonder why I am held down by that stupid contract. Here I am away from the saiyans, and yet I still follow that thing to my hearts dismay..." Sighing the young Kagami looked back at Nai as she began to slither up to an astonishing height, she seemed to be a bit taller than him, almost a foot taller now, she had to be at least eight feet. Walking back around the cliff, the boy picked up his cloak, it made a small rumble as he picked it up and started to place it back on his shoulders. The familiar weight causing his shoulders to crumple down. In all his time, it seemed that this cloak had been the only piece of equipment he could truly call his. Pulling the small hood over his own head, only his red eyes could be seen underneath it, as his entire face was covered in shadows. Rising himself into the air, the young Kagami didn't know what to do at the moment, instead he figured he would get in front of the saiyans himself, and allow them the choice to try and enter the cave, or face the woman behind them. Suddenly taking off at a moderate speed, Emer landed in front of Nai's cave with a solid thud. No words seemed to come out of his mouth as the dark figure starred at the three saiyans. The red eyes looking as if they had been starring at a corpse. 'You know, Nai told you she didn't want you interfering with this fight right?' Alith seemed to pop into his mind, she always had to come at the wrong moments to talk to him didn't she? 'I can't have one day to myself without one of you popping in my head can I?' Emer responded to the woman soul within his head. A small laugh seemed to escape from her as she made one of his eyes turn a bright orange to see the enemies herself. 'Ahh, this is why you feel as if you can't just stand by, there's three saiyans here, I bet you there's another around here... They appear to be a hunting party, being in the army you know well enough that they have a fourth hidden some where...' Emer nodded slightly trying to look around without losing track of the three in front of them. If they weren't careful a fourth member would put them at risk, especially with an element of surprise. Suddenly Irith took over his mind. 'Hey Emer, did you perhaps miss what's coming this way, I mean look over there, I don't think that is normal...' Emer blinked a little bit at what she was mentioning till he looked to the east slightly, and saw what looked like a desert storm seemed to head their way. The sands had been flying up and around buffeting everything on the other side of dunes, and it seemed to be approaching at a fast rate. 'That, I did not see, if Nai doesn't hurry we may be fighting blind, and I don't believe we have anything that will help us as of right now. And I'd rather fight without having a sand storm buffet small grains of earth into my eyes, it's bad enough when I have to feel it in my shoes some times, That's why I always have to empty them out.' Suddenly he snapped back to reality. Wait.... Was I really just this calm.... Looking back at the saiyans the young Kagami seemed to feel strange. There was anger in him, yes he was assured of that feeling, but at the same time it seemed he had been calm with them around. He didn't feel as if he needed to kill them at the moment. Starring at them, he tried to remember his past, but it seemed that he just couldn't muster that rage that he had before... Especially when that Kiba girl had provoked him with something called pride, it was a useless benefactor to fighters... Pride would only get you killed, or so Emer thought but he hadn't killed the woman himself. Suddenly two of the saiyans seemed to pause as they looked back at Emer and Nai. Suddenly a strange laugh escaped Emer before he looked over at Nai. "I don't understand... I... I really don't understand." His eyes seemed to be in bewilderment. "I can't... I just can't feel the rage that kept me going... What is this..." His eyes darting back around the small group around him. Looking over at Nai, the Kagami seemed to be losing his grip here and now, in front of everyone and in a bad situation none the less. "Nai... you took my rage away... My meaning to continue fighting... I can't find it anymore when I look at them..." He had shared his memories and emotions with her... Taking a load of stress off of him. By allowing someone else to take on some of his own, he hadn't felt the need to kill them since he saw them... "I need that rage back... Or what else am I going to do..." He said as he began to approach the saiyans one step at a time. The nearest saiyan which had been a younger female began to back away from Emer. Her scouter revealing him to be at least as strong as an Elite at the moment. "Why... Do I feel no hate... just saddness..." With each step the saiyans seemed to slowly circle together, to increase their chances of survivability. Everyone knew fighting someone without a purpose was insane... It meant that your opponent cared for nothing at the moment, making the ultimate killing machine, with no emotions but to find their purpose. -Emer Part Done-
-Saiyan:Aspa Begin-
Their mission had to been to inflitrate earth, each of them had been choosen for a specific reason as they had been sent to earth. And that was because of their track record, they had completed every mission that has been set before them. Every planet they had visited so far had been eithe destroyed or conquered by the group. Earth had been a long time target of the saiyan empire, as they had been the most valuable trade partner of any intergalactic trade system, being able to pump out what seemed to be near infinite amounts of rare materials that most planets needed. Going from food supplies, all the way to the ores that supplied any nations war funds. Earth was the most valuable planet in the system at the moment, and it made sense. Suddenly Aspa looked around at the rest of her squadmates, they had just landed no more than thirty minutes ago. Brok seemed to be slowly climbing out of his space pod, she had been skeptical of the small fat man at first, but it seemed that he was able to carry himself in a battle, and he had an amazing appetite. Though his methods disagreed with her own, he made for a fine warrior within the saiyans empire. He never ceased to amaze her with his own tenacity. Suddenly her eyes spotted Cada climbing out of her own space pod. This was an older saiyan that had been the captain on their missions. It seemed that she had been in quiet a number of scuffles back at the bars on planet Vegeta. Looking around slightly she spotted that Kor seemed to already be out of his own space pod. Well at least he knew his role in this mission, as in any other, he would be on the outskirts viewing and watching them, he'd hide among the debris and other things that provided him cover. He was their surprise element when on missions. Other then that he seemed to be a quiet guy even back on Vegeta. Suddenly, it seemed that Brok had caught a whiff of something not to far from them. And it had began to fill her nostrils as well. Suddenly Brok let out a hearty laugh. "Look at that, a meal already awaiting us on this pathetic planet, just as soon as we land. I can't believe our luck how about you?" Aspa let a small laugh escape her lips before answering. "You're always thinking about food Brok. I don't think i've seen one time you haven't went to a planet claiming that the trip made you hungry, when we slept most of the way." The small fat man let a small huff escape his lips as he turned to look at her. "Well miss bones, I like my food, and it's a nice energy restorer when you've been asleep for so long." He said patting his stomach. Suddenly he froze and raised his hands as Cada began to walk towards him. The older woman was strict and had made everyone fear her in the group. "... I for once agree with him... I am hungry."Surprised herself Aspa's mouth seemed to drop open at their commander saying she was hungry. Suddenly she saw that Brok and Cada where walking towards the smell, they where chatting between them. A large sigh escaped her lips, sure Cada had been a scary force, but it seemed that she could also be a normal being as well... Which was strange to admit, but one couldn't judge a book by their cover. Soon the small group seemed to stumble upon a small encampment, a smile broke out over their faces, as they looked for the source of the smell. It seemed to be a travelers stop, but a nearby cave seemed to prove otherwise. It seemed that someone had set up a camp around here. The group was approaching carefully to see if anyone had been inside when Aspa heard a voice and spun around quickly. It had surprised her more than anything. Cada and Brok also seemed to spin around to face the woman. As the snake woman got closer, they could see how tall she stood. It was intimidating at first, but the saiyans had been used to bigger threats. As they had been everywhere in the galaxy, so eight feet to them seemed to be just a hindrance. Once Nai got closer, she could see that two of them had been females. Cada with her greying hair had been the oldest of them, and Aspa being a younger female with her black hair barely longer than a males. It was cut in what one would call a hi top fashion with the short sides, and only a one inch high on top. A small smile appeared on her face. "Well, seems we discovered who owns this caves guys..." She stated as Cada began to walk towards Nai. "It seems so indeed, I'll take care of this one, you two should enjoy yourself with the meal that has been prepared for us. Who knows we might have some meat to add to it when we ge-" Before she could finish a solid thud sounded behind them. Aspa and Brok turned around to see a strange figure standing in front of him. He seemed to be tall compared to them. But Brok seemed to hesitate a minute before backing up a bit. Aspa saw something strange on the mans cloak, it showed the mercenary mark of the saiyan empire. Suddenly Brok whispered into his scouter. "G...Guys I believe that figure is from Echo squad... I believe they called him the cursed soldier... When you paired with him you died..." Which had been true in Emer's case. Every time he was placed with anyone else in his squad, it seemed they had all died. But that was the purpose of his squad, be the first onto the field, and destroy the enemy. If you died it was alright, because you had done your job. By taking out as many enemy soldiers as possible before dying. Aspa looked over at him before walking back towards her group. Where had he come from, and what was wrong with his voice. It seemed that he had mentally snapped... This was becoming a bit more dangerous by the minute. Cada could handle her own against these two, because she was the commander... But her and Brok had been new members to this squad. What had they just walked into? And where was Kor when you needed him... Suddenly Cada spoke out. "It seems that our fun has just tripled, you two take on that man over there. I'll handle this creature in front of me." She seemed to smile towards Nai. One could tell that Cada was the strongest just by looking at the group, she had the demeanor of the one that had been in charge. (Saiyans Powerlevel: Cada:50,000 Aspa:10,500 Brok:9,500 Kor: 35,000) -End Aspa--Saiyan:Kor Begin-Kor had landed before the rest of his squad mates... He had watched them slowly climb out of their pods before he took off into the distance. It had been a while since he was on scouting patrol, but it seemed to be paying off for him, considering they had two new people to their squad. Today would prove if they deserved to stay within the reconnaissance squad. Picking out a spot above the group the older male seemed to stare over the ensuing situation down below him. A small smile appeared on his face, it seemed the cursed soldier had been sent to this planet as well... Well, that would make for an interesting little debate. Suddenly something off in the distance caught his eye. It seemed to be a storm heading towards them. Cada, Aspa, and Brok probably didn't notice the storm approaching them, and he found it hard to believe that it was natural. As there was no wind currently... Especially with how high up he was on the cliffs behind them. Clicking his scouter slightly, it beeped a tad bit and showed a small square tracking what seemed to be another power signature nearby. When it finally focused, it revealed that whatever was causing the sand to stir, had been another creature. The power level that he saw, had surprised him as it sat at a neat fifteen thousand power. Shaking his head slightly, Kor got up from his position and began to run around and out of sight of the group. He didn't know what was going to happen if this third being joined the fight, so he had to stop it from reaching the others. Positioning himself behind a few rocks, he watched as the scouter began to track how much closer the power level had gotten to him. Suddenly as it got close to him, he'd launch out of his hiding spot. His goal was to try and catch the speeding creature with a kick. To either trip it up, or to send him backwards. Standing there for a moment wonder what had happened he turned his attention back towards whatever he had went after, it seemed hard to see right now with the sun in his eyes. The desert air was dry, and the heat had been making him thirsty. What he saw at first seemed to be just a strange looking creature. But when the sun drifted over slightly to allow him to see. It appeared to be a human that had been heading towards the group. " Sorry, I can't let you proceed this way, There's a sticky situation up there, and I think it would be better if you didn't get involved with it. The problem will be resolved shortly..." As Kor stood there in the sun, Pieter would be able to get a good look at him. The saiyan stood about average of their species height, nearing five foot ten inches. And seemed to have no hair on top of his head. A small beard seemed to go down to his chest, that had been greyed due to age. His armor was that of an elites, as it jutted out at the shoulders, most that had seen the saiyaqns knew that armor without the shoulders had been low class warriors. A small emblem on his battle armor gave it away as well, it seemed that he had been a royal child, that joined the army. It would make things interesting anyway, to see a royal elite here on earth. Why exactly had he come to this planet, and what was his intentions? But he also spoke about the group ahead, was it perhaps friends of his that had been fighting with the two sources that Pieter had felt earlier? These where possible questions that someone could come up with, due to him protecting the group ahead. "So... What exactly are you, you look kind of strange for a human..." He said looking down at Pieter. -Saiyan: Kor End-

((I'm in the game! Here's Greensy!)) _________________________ NEW ENTRY: Ukare! _________________________
The time for exploration was donning onto the new face on earth. After parting ways temporarily with a familiar of his, the Namekian began his quest of searching the Earth for someone. Through the fruits of his skill to fly, the green man found himself nearing the Southern Continent sooner than expected. It was pure curiosity that drew his appearance. Strong forces and distant chatter provoked the sensitive body parts on his head. A curse, really, Namekian ears picked up almost everything and anything. This time, rather than simply interesting conversations, it was a strong spike in powers. Four, to be exact. All foreign.
The bare brow of the Namek was scrunched, wrinkled in the middle. Suspicion came over the airborne figure. Another power joined the party, something stronger and fierce. His antenna pricked and wavered, his ears doing the same. Picking up the chatter as a makeshift detection unit. Four people, three together but one wandering off and appearing to speak to himself. Deep in thought of whether or not to investigate, Ukare took a sitting position and sealing himself above the heavens, sitting criss-cross and arms identical. The dark shaded veil coming over his face had someone come across him. A hard minute that felt like years come over the green alien. It'd be suicidal to take on all four at once, but the idea of one of the forces being a possible ally arose within the thought.
It was settled at last.
Ukare's antenna pricked once, giving him direction of where to go. A purple flame embued the Namekian as he rocket toward the large forces of beyond. Into the sandy desert and onward to possible battle, had it come to the event. Lucky he had his mask equipped. If not, the grains of flying sand could have incapacitated him long ago. The figure of power rushed through the Southern Continent with haste, brow furrowed and eyes solemn, his entire expression matching. Long did it take before Ukare could find the four Saiyans at last, thinking it smart to land a little bit away.
His arms were put behind him as he began a long sprint to the scene. Feet kicking sand up behind him between each step forward. The antenna aadorned upon his forehead pricked once more, giving him the knowledge that he was closing in. The tension seemed to be rising as the exposed muscle decorating Ukare's limbs pulsed and trembled with pure excitement over what was to become of him. The best thing to do was continue, rather than bail there and then. The sharp fangs lined in the Namek's mouth were shown and glinted in the hot sun as Ukare finally stumbled upon the scary sight.
He'd simply have to suck up any fear that attempted to overwhelm him.
Swallowing hard, the green male had to size up whatever he could. Three of the Saiyans were dressed similarly, differences being in size, power and gender. Two females and two males. On the other hand, the other Saiyan seemed more Earthly than the rest. His height astounding and body seemed to have different markings everywhere. He'd hope the Earthly one would save him for last; granted he was a possible enemy. It was the first sighting, of course. If one was to judge a book by the cover, the following insights could be drawn: [br -The first female must have been leader. -Then the short and fat one. -And finally the last male, who towered.
It wasn't crazy that he may have been wrong entirely. He'd simply need to find out by himself, now wouldn't he. To which he intended to. Taking a neutral position, Ukare showed his bravery and tested his metal, standing proud in front of all the Saiyans there. Perhaps the Ryashi he felt would show or perhaps not. It was all centered around the foreign men and women before him. He was prepared to battle all if required.
The navy blue mask covering the fearful but serious expression over his face.
"Am..Am I late to the gathering?" Ukare grunted, in a rather mocking voice. Shaking his head, the Namek figured now was no tome for old and overused jokes. No, it was time to figure out friend to foe.

Post by Nai-Ran on Oct 6, 2014 10:20:53 GMT
((Adding in Nai-Ran’s PL gains from the same thread as Emer, she’s currently sitting at 26,724.))
A fourth being had joined the three that were snooping around Nai-Ran’s cave by the time she had reached them. However, unlike the others, this man looked absolutely nothing like the Saiyans that stood before the young woman. He was a green fellow with pointed ears, a pair of antennae, and a dark blue mask that obscured the lower half of his face. It wasn’t just his looks that set him apart from the rest of the group though. There was sort of an air of uncertainty around him. He seemed to be nothing more than a random traveler that had been attracted by the gathering ki signatures. Either way, she would address him separately in a moment.
Normally the serpentine lass would have been fine with sharing food. However, the trio of Saiyans appeared to have come with ill intentions. She didn’t know who they thought they would find inhabiting a cave in such a remote place, but the way that they carried themselves suggested they were either flat out going to steal the stew that had attracted them here or bully whoever they found into handing it over. Nai-Ran wouldn’t tolerate such brash behavior from this lot. “Ah, you’ll have to excuse me. I didn’t realize that I was actually in the presence of not only a pair of gentlemen, but a pair of ladies as well. I do believe my confusion is understandable though. With the state of your appearance, I’m guessing your society was trying to cover up that fact. You have my sympathies,” she remarked with a sly smile.
The female with graying hair spoke up about holding off the Ryashi while her companions helped themselves to the food that didn’t belong to them in the slightest. She even hinted at adding Nai-Ran to the menu when she was finished. They were nothing more than typical barbarians... The young woman had been hoping to show Emer that not all Saiyans were bad, but this lot would be a horrible example of such an idea. “Oh? I don’t recall inviting you to the morning meal I had prepared.”
Suddenly, everyone in the immediate vicinity seemed to turn their heads at the sound of a heavy thud in the sand right in front of the cave. Emer had donned his cowl and had decided to make his presence known to their uninvited guests, despite Nai-Ran’s request for him to stay out of it. In any other situation, the serpentine lass would have repeated her request firmly and practically ordered him to stand to the side, but there was something different about him. He was going on about how Nai-Ran had taken away his rage, and how he needed it back. Something wasn’t right in his voice. It was like he was caught in some kind of trance. It was actually kind of scary. The Saiyans looked unnerved at the behavior as well; one appeared to be whispering something under his breath to the other two. ”Emer? What are you saying? Try to get ahold of yourself,” she spoke with a touch of nervousness in her tone. There was a feeling in the pit of her stomach that whatever was causing him to act like this was about to make the situation get even worse.
As much as would have preferred him to stay out of this fight and let his body recover, the Saiyan woman with graying hair had ordered the two under her command to take him on. Great... Not only was he risking reopening his still somewhat fresh wounds, but the fact that he sounded like he was about ready to snap wasn’t helping matters at all. There wasn’t much Nai-Ran could do about that just yet. The Ryashi couldn’t tell much about the leader with the nifty little ability to sense ki signatures that she had only recently acquired, but she could definitely feel immense power radiating from her. It easily dwarfed her own as far as she could tell. It was definitely intimidating, but Nai-Ran wouldn’t back down. There was no doubt in her mind that she would definitely have to resort to her Serpentine Fury transformation sooner or later during this fight if she was to have any hope of survival. ”Very well. Is there a name in which I can put to that face of yours?” she asked while lowering herself to her normal height to allow for easier maneuvering. Nai-Ran poised herself into a defensive stance before giving the woman who would be her opponent a serious look. ”I... am Nai-Ran. I warn you that I don’t take kindly to bullies.”
However, before the fight could commence, there was still one important detail that needed to be addressed. This place seemed to be quite popular for a random cave in the middle of the Diablo Desert. Not only were there four visitors, but Nai-Ran could feel two more ki signatures not far from their location. What she tossed her glance to for the moment was the green gentleman who seemed to be a separate party all together. Was he here as a friend or a foe? From the looks of him, he didn’t seem quite sure of the answer himself. “It would seem so. Though, I must ask you why you are attending this ‘gathering’. Are you also here in an attempt to invade my home?” the young woman asked him, though her gaze had already returned to the Saiyan woman with the graying hair. If she was the type to try to bully someone out of a meal, she could also be the type to strike while her opponent was distracted. Nai-Ran couldn’t allow her such an opening.

(Alright...! This'll be entertaining! Also, Ukare, you'll need to re-adjust your post. Seeing a few things off there.)
Something was off about these other powers he was sensing. At first, it seemed like these other spirits were no stronger than that mercenary group he fought, but as he approached closer, his eyes widened and his heart beat heavily! The one closest to the saiyan hunter was just as strong as Pieter and another, who seemed grouped with the others 4, vastly trumped his own power. His saiyan blood pumped adrenaline through him, exciting him for the possible challenge coming his way. The hunter glimpsed in the direction of the closest spirit to himself. It was coming in fast, from a high place, towards the hunter himself!
Pieter began to skid across the desert, trying to stop himself and meet this spirited being. A kick to the face greeted him, though Pieter was prepared. He caught the kick in hand, causing him to come to a full stop. The dust behind him shot by him, covering the area in a makeshift sand storm for about ten seconds. The attacker then told him something about there being a sticky situation going on ahead of him. Pieter was a bit inclined to ask, at first, but as the dust settled, he caught a glimpse of what this man looked like! As tall as he was, this man was at least his father's age and was just as strong as him. He was bald, but bearded with a greying beard.
He jumped backwards, putting some distance from himself and this man. Pieter observed the armor this man was wearing and the brown monkey tail wrapped around his waist. Pieter stood tall, smiling as he uttered, "A saiyan as well, hmm? Would that be the same with the others as well?"
His own tail would begin to unfurl from his own waist and wag about slowly. The man then asked what he was, as he was strange for something 'human.' Pieter responded, "In fairness, I'm just a fourth human. I was born and grew up here, on this world. My tribe's very odd, even amongst other tribes, for we are no strangers to saiyans and are no strangers to the human folk of this world, as well... Now, I do believe you just tried to kick me, old man, without as much as an introduction... What's your name and what does that symbol mean? I could've swore I have seen that before..."
Pieter felt the presence of another being near his location, but at the moment, Pieter was focused on this one individual before him. Something about his armor and the insignia on it troubled him a bit. From what Pieter could remember that his father taught him when he was younger, was that saiyans had a cast system, based upon the level of power the individual was born with. However, it was an old pretense that didn't truly hold true position in the saiyan society. Might was the governing tool and those who used it truly did use it...
"Gah... What was it? What did father teach us about the saiyans?"

Emer sat there for a moment starring at Nai, it seemed that she was getting nervous around him, and right now that would be acceptable. A small sihg escaped his lips as he began to try and gather his thoughts, he didn't know what was going on at the moment, he was becoming a little unsure of himself. Why couldn't he bring up the full hatred for saiyans he had in his mind. Suddenly The younger saiyan launched out at him while he had his eyes closed. Opening his eyes at the last moment, Emer simply stepped out of the way of Aspa's punch. She seemed to be slightly confused as the tallest one among them besides Nai, had stepped out of the way. The young female saiyan spun around quickly only to have a kick placed into her chest. To send her flying up towards the mountain and cliffs. "Sorry Nai, I let my thoughts get the better of me, do try to relax..." He stated as he looked at the new comer.
"It seems that you got here just in time, if you wouldn't mind, help the woman out over there. She has two others beside her, it wouldn't be a good idea for me to be near them. Right now I am unstable and I have no idea what I may try to do in this state. All I can say, is I get this eerie feeling within my chest that won't go away." He said moving his hand down towards his chest and began to walk away. Suddenly Emer flew into the air with a boom echoing around him as he flew to where Aspa had landed. "Now... Why did you attack me when I had my eyes close, I haven't done anything yet..." Emer's ribs where still hurting, along with the rest of his body. It hadn't been long enough for him to heal completely. And Nai probably knew that, so she was probably worrying about him right now. Suddenly Aspa shot up to her feet taking a battle stance in front of Emer.
"This is gonna be annoying if you continue trying to fight me girl... You don't have what it takes to make me even remove these weights from my shoulders." She seemed to freeze slightly as he spoke, could it be true that she wouldn't even be able to force this male to remove whatever he called these weights? Suddenly it made her laugh as she knew weights held no specific reason when it came to a fight then why was he acting so cocky? Then again he had just booted her up to the top of this mountain without a problem.... Alright so maybe it wasn't a total bluff like she was thinking...Emer looked down at the girl before walking towards her. "You seem to be in a hurry to die attacking me, I think I shall show you to the gates you seek." Aspa's eyes seemed to grow wide as he spoke, she had heard the stories from Brok, about how the cursed soldier would be the only one to leave a battle alive. Some believe he had been blessed by the devil himself.
Trying to crawl away slightly, she didn't get far before a hand reached down and grabbed her foot, turning and throwing her into a rock with loud cracks and bangs being heard from above the ridge. Reaching a hand to his side, Emer let a small grunt out as he felt the pain in his chest coming back. It hadn't been long enough indeed, and he had probably just broke his ribs again with that movement. As he was clutching in pain he didn't notice the woman appear right in front of his face, the only thing he could see was a foot coming and placing itself right in his mouth. Being sent back slightly and crashing to the ground. The tall Kagami laid there for a moment. A small sigh seemed to escape his lips as he pushed himself off the ground. "Seem's you do have some fight in ya after all girl..." Aspa at this time seemed to be getting cocky. Her mouth in a small smile as she quickly snapped at the Kagami. "Well then, the cursed soldier is all bark and no bite it seems."
Looking down at his hands, that name has escaped him for a time. "You're right, I forgot I'm the cursed soldier..." Suddenly everyone could feel his aura from up top, it seemed to be infused with emotions, flowing down the mountain and towards them. To most that could feel the Ki, it seemed to be sad, and eerie... As if you had been slowly dying yourself. Aspa cringed at the feeling holding her posture, she didn't know what to think about this Kagami in front of her. Just what the hell was he, and how the hell was he doing this? As she was paying attention to his Aura, she hadn't seen the beam appearing in his hand. Quickly Emer raised his palm towards the younger female saiyan, as suddenly a giant white beam, seemed to fly across the desert for a while. The bright color hurting her eyes slightly, Aspa dodged to the side, to see the carnage it had caused. Everything in it's path had been cleaned out, and completely destroyed. Suddenly the reality of the situation began to sink into the female saiyan.

-Cada Begins-
Cada seemed to smirk at the womans comment about how the saiyans where trying to hide the fact that females had been fighters. "I guess you could say that, considering most of them see me as a brute compared to the males." Squatting down into a stance the woman raised her two hands to just level out with her hips. "I suppose I can indulge you in my name..." She seemed to have a slight smile on her face till another pest seemed to turn up in the middle of all these fights. A small sigh escaped her lips as she looked over at a rather gangly green looking creature. One of which she had never seen. He almost looked like a vegetable. "Hey Brok, I want you to take care of that one, It seems he doesn't have any manners not to drop into a fight out of no where." Without much resistance Brok nodded at the woman, she turned her sight back to Nai.
"Well then Nai-Ran, I am Cada, The commander of talon force and the lowest ranking officer of the saiyan army. Though it may be the lowest, it's not based on our birth anymore, the stronger we are, the higher we get placed in the current system the king has in placed." She stated as she stood up crossing her arms. "I guess you could say that, there's several other saiyans that far exceed my own power.... Seems like an irony no?" Cada seemed to be calm at the moment as she looked at the snake lady. "Well, I think I'm done talking here." Suddenly the saiyan woman disappeared and reappeared right beside Nai-Ran to the left of her. The speed that the woman had just shown was extreme, one moment she had been standing there, the next her entire body seemed to fade away into the air. If Nai-Ran was able to keep up with her appearing beside the woman, she'd get a closer look. She indeed wore armor without shoulder pads, meaning that she had been a low class saiyan.
A sharp kick came flying around towards Nai's head during this time. The woman seemed to favor her legs, as they had more scars on them than that of her own hands. Should the kick connect, she wasn't going to get close to the woman, but instead she had already been charging two ki balls within her hands as she was kicking, turning in nearly a complete circle she began to throw the orange balls towards Nai. Each one held a small percentage of her power, one could say that she put about ten percent into each of the small balls. Should Cada miss her kick, the two energy balls would be fired off point blank, regardless of if they hit or not, she would be jumping backwards to see what the damage was she had done. It was a bit different than what one would expect of a saiyan, she had been calculating this fight. It seemed to Cada that the serpentine lass, had the extra reach on her, so she'd need to play the long range game. She had the advantage when it came to that..
"Oh I guess I forgot one other thing, we'll keep you alive for a small time, mostly cause I'm interested in what you are... Your friends however won't live to see another day, I have no need for them unless it's that Kagami, he would prove to be a nice little addition to our team... I mean I've been told they do anything you want them too, when you hold their contract." She had a small smile on her face as she stood up cracking her neck left and right. "I mean it'll be nice to have someone do something for me once and a while. Travels get lonely you know." A small laugh seemed to come from the greying woman, it seemed that the roar of laughter was cut short when she felt the small aura come from the kagami up on the ridge above them. A small shiver went down her spine as she spoke. "Now that's what I expect from the cursed soldier. Nothing but sadness... And boy that's a strong one.... Kinda eerie..." She was starting to worry about Aspa, as the girl was new to their group.
-Cada End-
-Kor Begin-
Standing there for a moment, Kor had been surprised that the man had caught his foot. The dirt seemed to shoot around the two of them as they stood there looking at each other for a moment. a small smile appeared between his greying beard as he lowered his foot, it seemed that the man backed away. Maybe he had found a good opponent for himself after all. He'd been mostly be the spotted when he joined this group, he hadn't really gotten to fight anyone around his own strength in a long time. The smile seemed to stay on his face as he thought about the possibility of finally being able to fight again for fun. Suddenly the male in front of him asked about the rest of the people at the ridge. A small shrug came from his shoulders as he looked back at the half saiyan. "I know that three of them happen to be saiyans, but the other power levels coming from there, seem to belong to others that I don't know... Except for the Kagami he's a bit nicely known in the saiyan army as the cursed soldier."
Seeing the tail flicker back and forth behind the half-breed even if it was a quarter he still wasn't a full saiyan. A small smile appeared on his face as she responded to the younger mans questions. "I suppose it won't hurt me to tell ya. I'm Kor, and this symbol you see on my chest, belongs to that of the royal family. Let's put it simply I am an elite soldier under that of the King, I'm a Elite saiyan." He stated walking closer to the half saiyan. "And I had heard we might meet some more saiyans on earth, those of which where half breeds or more. But you state that you're only a quarter human, meaning that you had a full fledged parent and a halfbreed." He seemed to have some quarrel with halfies, but for now it seemed that he was interested in Pieter. "Though, I hope you don't mind me saying this, I wouldn't mind taking you in under my wing, I mean you did prepare for the kick nicely. It'd give me some joy knowing that I got a kid myself." He said laughing. Sure Kor didn't like half breeds, but this boy in front of him could pass for a full fledge saiyan only having a quarter in him.
Suddenly his attention turned to the cliff as a sad aura began to fill the air. "Well then, someone seems to have a lot of hurt and sadness going through them...." He stated as it was, most people that could sense another aura, or ki in this case. Could tell the emotions that they had, and this one was sad, and felt like a cold death wrapping around ya. Turning his attention back to pieter he stood there with his armed crossed in front of him. He didn't feel like throwing any more punches at the moment, especially since he was trying to recruit this saiyan to his side. "Our mission here is very simple, if you join us I can tell you what it is and you can help us accomplish this goal." He said having a small hearty laugh escape his lips as he began to approach pieter with each step. The feeling around the older saiyan would feel a bit dangerous, as he was giving out a mix of emotions himself, some of which where hate, some of which had been surprise. And a few others thrown into there, that would make anyone's hair stand on edge.
Stopping in front of Pieter, he was close enough that the younger saiyan could see the symbol clearly. And it proved that he had indeed been a royal guard. But what was a royal guard doing here on earth in the first place? The only thing that could come to anyones mind, is if the king was deciding to take the planet for his own. That would call for some serious fire power down on earth. "Well boy, I think I offered you everything I can think of, now it's your turn. Who are you? And what do you plan on doing here? Are you going to join us? And last but the most important, Do you think you can get my old blood pumping again, it's been a long time since I fought someone strong." The last question was serious as his smile disappeared and his tone seemed to die down slightly. Now things where heating up between Kor and Pieter, all these answers, filled back up by questions. To Kor, this would be a fun fight, as he felt the boys power, it was certainly higher than the other two, standing at the cave.
And it seemed another signature had landed in the fight. "Boy... It's getting a bit crowded over there... I might be missing out in the fun..." He stated sensing that the cave had become a bit crowded for all those involved.
-Kor End-
-Brok Begin-
As he had been commanded Brok turned his attention to the green being standing in front of him. the short fat saiyan let a small laugh escape his lips. "I'm not on for vegetables, but I suppose eating you should be quiet fun, I mean I do need my daily nutrients." He said tapping his overweight stomach before approaching the Namekian. It was strange to see a new being that no one has seen... At least the saiyans hadn't, and nor did Emer. But he wore some strange clothing, it seemed that he had a mask on, that covered most of his face, and the small antenna's that hung out of the top of his head caused a small confusion. But none the less he dismissed the idea in fact he didn't even look like a vegetable anymore. A small puzzled look appeared on the fat saiyan before he spoke. "Now that I look at you closer, you don't seem like a vegetable. You're more like a bug..." He stated looking over the Namekians arms and heads.
Without any further delays the fat saiyan flew towards the Namekian charging with his head. He was known to ram things with his weight, and most of the time it worked, It was a dangerous action at some points, considering that he was revealing so many openings, but the fat saiyans robust body had allowed him to take attacks without much effect. Because of the fat and extra cushions that seemed to be within his body. Should his attack connect the Fat saiyan would follow it up by wrapping his arms around the Namekians body, picking him up and slamming him into the ground. Should he miss, the fat saiyan would keep running till he hit something. Most likely it would be the cliffs side. Should he hit the cliffs sides, the rocks would fall around him and knock his head slightly. Letting a small laugh escape as he charged at the Namekian he spoke out towards him. "Let's speed things up shall we?" And with that the flat blob of a saiyan seemed to move at a speed no one would expect.
Looking back at Cada with a small turn of his head, Brok could tell that she was going to be busy with the snake girl for a while, and he needed to get started on this Namekian in order to complete her order. Oh well, he'd of much rather fight the snake woman, instead of the green bean thing standing in front of him. Suddenly he stopped in his charge, only to end right in front of Namekian as he felt the sad aura feeling the air. Standing up straight he looked towards the cliff, he was still a few feet away from Ukare. "Huh... That's a creepy feeling even for me..." He said shaking his head. He had never felt anything like that, he turned his attention back to the Namekian. "I'm sorry, I was hesitating there..." He stated a little concerned about Aspa, though she had proven to be stronger than him, but... It was a habit to worry about comrades. He worried about Cada coming back to them, he wondered where Kor had been. He hadn't shown up yet, was it possible he had been taking out? But his signature was still there, was he just having fun watching them? The situation around them had gotten hot and quick.
In all of the missions that they have done, they've never run into a resitance like this. They had been told that on earth, there was no one that had reached the level of an elite. And yet, standing before them, appeared to be three people that had easily reached the level of the elites. And then there was one that was able to stop Kor, the royal guard of the squad. This was definetly not in the missions description. Though he had to admit he was a little disappointed with being placed against the green being. "Tell ya what, you let me go to the girl up on the Cliff, and we'll both come back and fight ya?" He said hoping that Ukare would agree to his proposal. It seemed that the being in front of him, wanted to fight someone strong, otherwise why would he land in the middle of everything.

The furrowed brow of the green man scrunched up further. His dark pupils following his every single movement made. He'd have to get ready for any sudden attacks made by the opposing party. The idea of being eaten by...that was awful. And possible, considering how disgustingly big and gross the Saiyans gut was. A single droplet of sweat dripped from the Namekian's brow upon being called a vegetable and all. A slight stagger came from pure surprise at the astounding speed being inputted in the tackle.
Recovering swiftly, Ukare put his hands up hastily. Having no idea of the possibility that he could suffer a mean grapple upon collision. He couldn't feel the sadness surrounding Cada or whoever was out of synch. Instead, keeping his solemn attitude, Ukare refused to pay mind to side shows or things of no interest. His muscles expanded, prepping for any type of impact or slams to proceed. It was odd how fast Brok could feint his tackle and change topic. It nearly infuriated Ukare, the Namek having to contain any form of outburst. It would be totally out of character for him.
Rather, he simply opened his mouth in shock. To think, this apparently strong alien could take a foreign looking man so...not seriously! It was an offence to him! None the less, Ukare raised a brow and clenched his teeth tight, the fangs digging into the marrow of his normal teeth, although not being able to be seen through normal means, thus being something he didn't worry about judgement over. The expression could have been visible just from how narrowed the Namekians eyes were. Only a few feet away from him, eh? Long enough for a steady charge, short enough for a surprise hyper-extension. It seemed dirty, but sometimes certain tricks worked best. This may, or may not, have been one. Ukare had a plan. One that would wipe the smug and cocky attitude off of Brok's slate.
Resuming a standing position, Ukare remained silent from there on. From underneath his mask was a coy smile, one telling of how confident the Warrior was. His arms folded, showing his tricks were not to be made anytime soon. Or so it may have seemed. "...!" The male grunted, nodding in approval of the proposal. He could only hope his plan for humiliation would work. He hoped that Brok would decide to float rather make a mad dash for the womanly Saiyan away in the distance. In a choice move, Ukare awaited the stumpy Saiyan to turn away.
A hard kick of his leg did he slam it into the air, the limb extending at an incredible rate. The speed increading with length until it was long enough to hopefully nail the fat Saiyan on the back of his head. Unfortunately, along with length, did weight become a large issue. Controlling his wavering limb poorly did he begin to slice at the tubby Saiyan before retracting quickly. Had his little provoking attack go successfully, Ukare would begin to laugh heartily at the man. Had it failed, however, he'd assume a battle position in case of a retaliation and possible mocking.
Between assuming positions, Ukare would put his hand onto his waist and point at the opposing party with a pointy nailed finger. "Don't waste my time, okay! Hurry up and do something!"

Post by Nai-Ran on Oct 9, 2014 2:36:53 GMT
Emer told Nai-Ran to try to relax after countering the younger Saiyan female’s attack. That was something that was easier said than done. The Kagami had seemed to regain a little control over his thoughts and emotions, which was a bit of a relief. However, he himself mentioned that he was unstable. Then there was still the fact that he hadn’t fully recovered from his injuries. That guy could be so stubborn... Unfortunately, Nai-Ran had no time to worry about that right that second.
Emer had asked the green fellow to assist the young woman in her fight, but the older Saiyan woman in front of her had other plans. She instead paired him up with the somewhat portly male that had been with them, Brok. At least she had had the decency to introduce herself as Cada. ”Cada... Normally this would be where I would say that it’s a pleasure to meet you, but given the situation...” the serpentine lass trailed off while keeping a stern expression. She was waiting for Cada to make the first move. While she knew this battle couldn’t possibly be won without transforming, Nai-Ran wasn’t quite ready for that. She needed to test the water and make sure she activated her Serpentine Fury at the right moment. It always left her feeling incredibly drained afterwards, and she would rather not start feeling like that mid-fight.
As soon as she was done speaking, Cada disappeared from sight. Nai-Ran’s eyes went wide. Where did she go?! The Ryashi barely caught a glimpse of her opponent from corner of her eye before a powerful kick connected with the side of her head, sending her flying face first into the sand. She was so fast! Her eyes hadn’t been able to keep up with her movements at all! The serpentine lass regained her bearings just in time to cross her arms in front of her and project a bright red barrier around her form. Any later than that and the two balls of ki that had been fired at her would have been a direct hit rather than colliding with the temporary shield. This wasn’t a good start for her...
”So you choose this over simply asking? Why is it that the Saiyans I come across have such bad manners?” she spouted off while channeling her ki throughout her body, dropping the barrier that had encompassed her from. The young woman forced her gathered energy into the palms of her hands and returned Cada’s earlier fire. ”Is resorting to slavery truly the only way you can find companionship? Then again, I suppose your ‘winning’ personality doesn’t help, does it?”
Nai-Ran began to charge her energy once again, not wanting to let up in her assault. However, before she could unleash her next attack, she felt Emer’s aura spike. The young woman couldn’t get a good look at how his fight was going right now though. Something big may have been happening with him, but she needed to worry about dispatching the trio’s leader first and foremost. She was easily the scariest of the three when it came to raw power, even if she appeared to be distracted as well by what was happening with the tall Kagami.
Nai-Ran closed her eyes for a brief moment. She was feeling rather irritated with her opponent’s mentality. It would seriously make the young woman’s day to be able to take Cada down a peg. ”Your fight is with me! Don’t get distracted!” Nai-Ran shouted, snapping her eyes open and shooting forth a pair of crimson ki beams from her eyes in the direction of the Saiyan woman. The Ryashi would have to be on her guard here just in case Cada decided to try getting behind her again. She wasn’t sure if there would actually be anything she could do about it if it happened, but she refused to be caught off guard by it again.
