Sagi Shi sat there on the red soil of Hell. Here he was, back in this miserable place again. ”T-Tch...I was defeated so...s-so easily… The fallen Oni clenched his fists tightly. He punched the ground, his purple aura flaring. ’DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!” Sagi looked around. He furrowed his eyebrows before he took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and relaxed. He needed to think. ”...It was rather inconvenient that I was swept aside like a mere nuisance. However...I’ll just plan ahead this time...one thing I do need though is allies…”
Sagi Shi looked around at the wastelands of hell. There was not a soul to be seen for miles. ’Out of all places...why did I get transported here….” He sighed.”Well what can you do...I guess the best thing for me to do right now is to find some other souls...then I’ll get to training once I have suitable potential recruits in mind…” A purple aura engulfed Sagi Shi before he bursted away like a bullet.
He flew a bit in the wastelands of Hell. After some flying, he began to see more and more souls. ”Finally...an area where it’s not empty…” Sagi Shi didn’t need socializing of course. He didn’t care if he was on his own. What he needed was weapons. Warriors to help him take over the After Life. But what disappointed him was the fact that all the souls around him were...clouds. Sagi sighed loudly. It wasn’t until he saw some weird, hunched back dragon thing with huge muscles. His bottom lip was in sort of a pout as two fangs stuck out of his mouth. His green scaly form shimmered from the light beaming down on them.
Sagi Shi approached him slowly and calmly. He looked up at the large creature. ”Oi. You. Tell me, do you want to join me in my quest for total domination…?” The creature looked down and snorted. ”Join a scrawny punk like you…? Funny. I have better things to do like training to win in that upcoming tournament rather than helping some excuse of a warrior like you, heh…” Sagi Shi narrowed his eyes but kept himself level headed. ”What tournament…” The creature’s bright red eyes widened slightly. It opened its mouth slightly, letting out a strange raspy sound of amusement. ”Heeeh….perfect...maybe if I’m lucky, I’ll get to use you as a nice warm up…”
The dragon like creature pointed behind him. ”Keep heading that way...and you’ll find the sign ups….if you don’t chicken out, or maybe wear yourself out from training, I’ll see you there…”” Sagi Shi turned around. An ominous shadow covering his eyes as his mouth curled into a grin. ”I don’t think you’ll be participating…” The creature’s smirk faded. Before he had time to question, his gut was met with a blue elbow ramming into it. The creature held its gut stumbling back. ”W...Why you little…!” He roared out in anger while Sagi Shi simply grinned. The dragons power pulsed, wind crashing against Sagi Shi as the Ogre stood there.
”So you have a bit of skill in you?! SO WHAT?! I’LL RIP YOU TO SHREDS!!!” He roared out as he charged towards Sagi Shi. His speed was unexpected, which gave the dragon the upper hand. His giant fist rammed into Sagi’s face sending him flying back. He crashed into a rock and before he had time to recuperate, the dragon man appeared right in front of him, his foot stomping into his stomach. Sagi coughed up some blood before glaring at the dragon man. He raised his foot again ready to stomp, only to have his foot meet the red soil of hell. Sagi Shi managed to avoid that attack, and simply stared at the dragon from a distance.
His angry snarl...transitioned into an excited grin. ”That was...quite unexpected I’ll have to admit…” His grin faded into a neutral expression. ”however...so is this…” And with that, Sagi’s form flickered before completely vanishing. The creature’s eyes widened in shock. ”W-Where’d he----GUHH!” He looked down to see a blue hand through his chest. With a bit of effort, he slowly managed to turn his head to look behind him. There, he saw the corrupted Ogre grinning madly. ”b...but how…” Sagi let out a ‘hmph’ before replying. ”I told you...I was going to rule this realm. It is mines for the taking...I gave you an offer...and you refused. Of course, why would anyone take an offer from a scrawny punk…” The dragon creature’s jaw quivered as he tried to form words, which only led to strange stuttering noises. Sagi Shi’s mouth curved downwards into a snarl before he pulled his hand back slightly and let out an intense amount of ki, disintegrating the beast at once.
Smoke floated around the area where the dragon creature once was. Sagi Shi’s red cape fluttered to his right from the wind. ”That tournament might have some pretty powerful fighters...maybe I can find some lackies that’ll join me…” He grinned excitedly. His quest for domination of the afterlife will happen. And he was going to make sure of that. Slowly hovering off the ground, he aimed in for the direction of the tournament sign ups. A purple, menacing aura, engulfed him, before he took off leaving a stream of purple behind him. After moments of flying, he saw a small village with the most noticeable feature. A large construct that stood a bit higher and a little wider than most homes in the village. It wasn’t very impressive considering it was somewhere around 3 to four stories high. Regardless, that wasn’t important. The sign ups for the tournament were likely in there.
Sagi floated down into the town. The Ogre’s piercing eyes looked around the village. There were a few Oni’s just like him around and actual souls who managed to obtain their bodies. The Ogre walked towards the large building slowly. The soil crunched against his feet as he approached the entrance. The entrance didn’t have any doors. Instead, it had two red curtains. Inside was a line, which caused the Ogre to sigh loudly. Not having any other choice, he began to wait for the line to diminish.
Time passed, and finally, he was at the front. Looking down at the red Oni with glasses, Sagi spoke. ”Sign me up for the tournament.” The Ogre at the desk blinked as he gawked at him. ”You’re incompetence is beginning to annoy me…” The corrupted ogre would hiss. The Ogre at the desk sort of flinched and comically flailed around in his chair in fear. ”A-Apologies...I…I just never expected an ‘Ogre’ to participate…” Reaching across the table, he’d grab his pen. Hovering it over the paper, he’d begin to ask, ”And what is your name sir?” ”Sagi Shi…” The Oni began to write down his name on the list before grabbing another paper.
”Sign here please.” Sagi snapped his finger causing tiny purple clouds to form. The danced around in the air before hitting the paper, instantly signing his name. By then, Sagi Shi was already out the door.
