A chilling wind blew through the air atop the large, imposing mountain. Xylo stood just below the peak, where a large plateau sat. In the center of this plateau was a stone throne, created by magic. Xylo had been to this mountain once before. It was where he first regained his body months ago with the help of that strange wizard. That wizard's identity was still quite the mystery to the Mazoku, and his lack of knowledge on his ally had been bugging him since he'd began his training in Hell. It wouldn't have mattered to him much normally, but the Wizard had way too much knowledge of Xylo's history to be of no consequence. There was a chance he had ties to Xylo's family, or perhaps he was simply an old demon who liked spying on people.
The Namekian's eyes scanned the landscape below him. All was calm in this little part of hell, for now at least. It was strange to think of Hell as a calm place at any point in time. Xylo envisioned it as a much bleaker place, but in all honesty, it was quite nice here. If he didn't have scores to settle in the living realm, he might consider simply staying here.
Xylo turned, his eyes focusing on the throne that sat nearby. He thought that it might have had some significance to the Wizard, which was why he returned here in the first place, but it seemed that it was just for show. If it really mattered to the wizard, he'd probably be here right now, sitting upon it and watching the land below with an eagle's eye. He clenched his fist as he approached it. The sight of such a useless object infuriated him. With a mighty shout, Xylo thrust his fist forwards, impacting the uncomfortable stone throne, and smashing it into hundreds of pieces.
He turned back to the edge of the plateau, contemplating his next move as the wind howled.
"What a waste of time..."
