I had a simple idea for solos. It would allow people making solos to get help from other people in writing NPCs and situations. There would be 2 scenarios: One could rp as a situation maker, DM-style, making the first post and making all of the situations as well as npcs. Or, you could have the other person making only NPC dialouge or reactions. They could rp as generic npcs, or important characters. Playing DM style would halve the gains, and only doing dialouge and reactions would only give you a quarter of the gains.

I believe there is already a thread on this topic, but I'll give a little bit of input I suppose. Back on another incredibly large RP site, they had three kinds of moderators (effectively): Moderators, Gamemasters, and Artificers. Moderators/Admins obviously had all real administrative power, and their decisions were generally considered the final say. Gamemasters were what you suggest, players who had proven themselves to be good enough roleplayers to be allowed to create missions and NPCs and generally do what DMs do. Artificers were players who had proven their knowledge of the game system enough that they were allowed the power of approving creations. Since most creations required 2-3 approvals, though, the artificer was not necessarily the one making all decisions. Now, this system worked incredibly well on that site, but there are a few issues that I won't delve into now that wouldn't necessarily allow that same system to exist on this site. One issue, though, is to remember that players still have their own character(s) to deal with. If they decided to DM for multiple players, take on too large a work load and get bogged down, their posts will eventually slow down and possibly stop altogether. Roleplaying isn't very fun if it feels like you are being forced into it. I have all kinds of experience and such in these sorts of systems, so if anyone wants any examples or any other arguments for/against, I'm willing to listen and provide.
