As he walked through the rocky barren depths of Yunzabit Heights, Polar could feel the chilling wind graze his skin. Yet unlike most beings, he embraced it. The air, the coldness of it all, it nourished him. It was like a light breeze on a hot summer day to him. And it reminded him so much of home.
Yes, as much as he hated to admitted it, he missed it. He missed the coldness and desolate fields of Arcose. He missed his home. It a strange though, considering what bad memories he had associated with that place. Maybe it was because he'd been away for so long? Maybe it was because this Earth felt so unnatural to him? For as soft as the grass was on his toes, it wasn't right to enjoy it. It was so alien to him.
These conflicting thoughts and feelings all frustrated Polar, causing the confused man to send his fist forward. From the fist blasted an icy blue Quasar Cannon which cracked and pulverized a nearby boulder. Polar could only look at his sizzling fist. He was still befuddled by the power that was growing in side of him, even after all this time. Then again, it didn't feel like that fateful battle was so long ago.
But it was, and since those events he exiled himself. Yet despite all he knew, all the techniques he developed and sharpened, all he looked for around this world, he couldn't find the one thing he wanted: purpose. All he had fought for was gone. But did he ever really fight for anything at all? Come to think of it, it seemed less that he fought for anything and more that he was running from something. Chilleon, the Saiyans. But he did fight for a cause, once. He fought under Taiga's army. That was something, wasn't it?
But Taiga was gone. Though, maybe the Arcosians weren't. Not totally. Perhaps he could be the bearer of his legacy. The man was a patriot. He clearly cared for his empire. Maybe Polar should start too, if only to honor the man.
That wouldn't change things, though. He had no ship. He would still be stuck here. At least if he didn't act, that is.

Thread PL: 1,100 HW: 825 Caraway's PL: 5,000
Among the snowy areas of Yunzabit was a teenager and her father, energies clashing as the two fought in a training spar. The girl was none other than Tekuma, and the male demon was Caraway. The ki of the halfling was much lower than that of her father; yet the two seemed to clash evenly. Caraway released a rapid flurry of punches, his daughter swiftly moving to attempt to block the attacks.
A few of them struck true, causing the female to gasp in pain. "Faster, Tekuma. I got you those weighted clothes for a reason. You must stand up for yourself, there is no way you should be failing to strike properly while blocking if you are truly my daughter." The voice of the pure blood demon was harsh; much so as it echoed against the walls of the valley they sparred in.
Tekuma panted softly, eyes narrowed as she looked at her father and pushed her glasses up over her bright green eyes. She remained focused on her father, unaware of approaching individuals as her ki sparked around her with a new, rough vigor. She was determined to make her father proud of her.

As his thoughts swarmed through his mind, Polar closed his eyes and emptied it. He let the wind fill his ears--his mind. In that, he found solace. It was almost meditative. Calm. He wish he could do it all the time, yet he knew it would eventually drive any sane man mad. No, this was something meant to be enjoyed in small, healthy doses.
As his scouter bleeped, Polar opened his right eye annoyed. No, this was far too soon for interruptions. Was this thing going off the fritz again? This thing hadn't been used in months. It was likely falling into disrepair from a lack of use.
He pulled the device up to his eye level, and the emerald visor tinted the dull landscape green. Numbers and figures started appearing on the screen, and then the yellow outline of two people in the far distance.
Who could possibly be out here? Polar thought.
It didn't seem to make much sense. This place was supposedly too desolate for humans. That's part of why he came--to get away from them. But these weren't normal humans, it seemed. One of them displayed a power level at 825. That alone wasn't impressive, even if it was considerable for a human. However, the other being boasted a power level of 5,000. That's comparable to a Saiyan elite!
Still, it didn't deter Polar, who was already leagues above their level. He was curious, though, and a little annoyed that they intruded upon him. Deciding to investigate, he crossed his arms and floated in the air, zooming toward the location of the the dueling duo. He was careful, though, not to let them see him. He wanted to know what they were up to.
To this end, he landed just a distance away behind a rock wall, which separated him from them. He climbed the wall, using his Arcosian claws, and clued himself there as he peeked over the ledge toward the two of them.

[Thread PL: 32,568] [HEAVY WEIGHTS ACTIVATED] [Current PL: 8,142] "Okay... One time more!"A lone saibaman was saying to himself as he found himself in the middle of nowhere. He had been in the middle of his hero training, and he was getting sick of the gravity chamber that he had back at his house. Hell, by the time he woke up after his first training session at his house, he had been able to concentrate hard enough to fly. He knew how to flow the entire time, but each and every time he had tried... Well, it always ended with him slamming into the nearest and hardest surfaces. Now that the magenta and cyan saibaman had trained enough to focus his own energy, Egg was now able to fly and travel places with much more ease. He decided to go to the middle of nowhere, as he had an idea for an attack. For the past couple of hours, he had been attacking boulders, trying to pierce through them with his new idea. Over the course of those, hours, he had learned how to hover in the air and control how he maneuvers while stalled in midair. The fact that he learned this was the deciding point on whether or not he should continue through on trying out this idea. This idea he got from watching a human kid's show about a very fast animal, in which the main character had a certain signature attack which seemed like a good attack to emulate. Hovering in the air, Egg would face the final boulder he had been attacking for the past twenty minutes, only seeing cracks in it as his power was being limited due to his weighted cape, and only slightly cracked due to how his technique is still barely materializing due to it being in its alpha stages. This time for sure, Egg was going to crack through it... He just needs to pump more power into his attack... A LOT more power. Still in the air, Egg would curl himself into a ball, and start spinning his body slowly on the horizontal axis. Like a wheel gaining speed, Egg's body would start to blur in with itself as the spinning grew faster and faster. This was the time, however, that his technique finally started materializing in the way he wanted. His golden ki started to envelop his body, creating a golden sphere around him that starts rippling, the ripples jutting out like spikes. This was the attack that EGG had imagined after watching a single episode of that god awful show. This was the Egg Roll!!! Unbeknownst to Egg, however, he was putting way too much power into this attack, as this was actually the final form of what he imagined... The Egg Roll Supreme 1! Spinning more and more, generating more ki into his attack, Egg was waiting for the right time to launch himself at the boulder. It was almost time, as Egg could feel the ki around his body start burning a tiny bit, enough to feel like electricity was dancing and tickling him across his skin. "EGGA ROLLA!"Egg's roaring voice said as it was distorted through the spinning. The instant the final syllables exited his mouth, he blasted himself towards the gargantuan boulder. Egg had that innate fear that he would merely splatter himself across the boulder, but fears and limitations were things to overcome. Soon enough, the golden sphere that encapsulated Egg's body finally made contact with the boulder... And moments later, his attack cleanly bored through the boulder, his cannonball-like attack soared through the sky, going for no determinable location. He felt a mixture of shock and glee as Egg's body was soaring through the sky, still resonating his attack fully. Egg could not control where he was going, as his attack was much stronger than he had expected. Soon, however, he would sense multiple ki signatures that he was getting closer to in a rapid descent. Shocked, Egg tried to dispel his own attack, but it was too strong for him to control at this point. As Egg neared the group, he would shout as loud as he could in a blurred voice, "LoooOOOOOkkkk OOOOOOuuuuuuuUUUUUTTTtttt!!!"The instant the words left his mouth, he slammed into the ground near the two people who were training in the vicinity. Upon collision with the ground, EGG's ki got disrupted from the crash landing so much that his attack dissipated. Egg's body would bounce along the ground a couple times, until Egg was sprawled out on his back on the ground, a good ten meters away from the father-daughter training duo. Disoriented, Egg would mutter out loud, "Success... Sorry, but Succ... Success!" KP = 0/3

Tekuma was focused on her father as the two once again went at it. Her father delivered a blow to her gut of which sent the hybrid rolling in the snow. The girl got up, shaking herself off before readjusting her glasses and complaining. "Father, why do we have to be out here? It's so cold and my weighted clothing is so ITCHY!" Complained the female; getting damp from the snow and flaring her ki to dry off, letting her aura dissipate.
Before her father could speak, a yell from some sort of creature and the words look out were enough for Caraway to spring into action, scooping up his daughter and darting out of the way, much to the complaint of the now embarrassed teenager. The creature before them confused each in turn; what and who was this?

While planted up against the cliffside and gazing at the two like a hidden predator, Polar watched what was apparently father and daughter training. He wouldn't have imagined that. They didn't seem to look that much alike. The girl, pale with scarlet red hair, looked like an average human, and yet the man was so alien, even to Polar. He couldn't tell exactly what he was, but it certainly wasn't human.
Judging by her insufferable complaints, the female wasn't all that experience, but the father was different. He had learned well enough during the battle for Earth that the creatures on this planet were capable of all sorts of unusual feats, from concealing their ki level to ascending to new, godly forms. Taking that into account, it was easy to see why Polar wasn't so keen on rushing, just yet.
Polar let out a scoff. It was funny. They way they trained, it reminded Polar so much of his childhood. But those were before all the dark times--before the falling out.
Suddenly Polar's scouter started beeping.
What the devil?
The scouter indicated something--a lifeform--was coming from his far right. The power level clocked at about eight thousand, and it was coming in hot. Before he knew it, he saw a teal and pink blur zoom in, crashing right into where the father and daughter were. It bounced a few times before rolling to a halt, though flashes of yellow electricity still sizzling on his body.
"Success!" the creature exclaimed as he spat out dirt, "Sorry, but Succ... Success!"
Well this was...interesting, to say the least. Polar pulled himself up onto the cliffside to get a better look, and trying to clock it on his scouter a few times. As it failed to lock on, he grabbed it and tossed it aside, quietly muttering, "Stupid piece of junk."
As the dust settled, Polar had a good vantage to see what was going on. In his immediate vision, he saw the creature slowly pulling himself up. Father and daughter, however, seemed to have scurried off, though Polar could still see them in his peripheral vision. They were keeping his distance from the creature, clearly showing the same caution Polar was just displaying. How powerful could they be if they were so fearful?
"Well, this is just an episode, isn't it?" Polar exclaimed, making his presence known as his placed his hands on his hips.

Pulling himself up off the ground a little, still in a bit of a daze, Egg would start using his ki sense to acknowledge the strengths of those around him. At the same time, his eyes would circle around the group, figuring out who each person was and whether they were going to be a problem or not. The very first one that his eyes laid on was a very young girl who had horns, and comparing to EGG's normal strength, is not even barely on his level. Sure she felt more powerful than the average human, this girl was just simply too normal and outclassed by everyone here. If anything, she was going to be the first one that EGG would need to protect if something sinister went down.
The second one his eyes and sense observed was a man who was close to EGG's current power level, and looked like a Third Tier villain from his sentai shows. He does not look too intimidating, but he was inhuman to the point where it looked like he would eat babies or something like that. Although this beings strength was the closest to Egg's current power level, that gap would expand by a great degree once the blue weighted cape-and-shoulder pads were taken off. Plus, the way he was in a combat stance was something that put EGG at an uneasy state, as it felt like that he was ready to take combat at any moment.
The final person in the roster that needed observation was the obvious alien, who was the most inhuman looking out of the group. And this guy felt like he was around EGG's actual level, while having a menacing posture to boot. This was barely first tier villain, over-achieving second tier villain. What would make or break that ranking would be how he interacted with the group. This man would put his hands on his hips and say something on the lines of this being an episode, which made EGG's mouth go agape. He looked left and right, before saying, "Am I on TV show!? ME EGG, ME NEXT HERO! HELLO WORLD!"
He would wave around to the invisible people that surrounded all of these people, thinking that he was actually on some sort of TV show. Possibly one of those new age sentai shows which had one of the monster do a heel turn and join the heroes, fighting more villains. If Egg was a betting man, the blue and white man was possibly the heel turn villain, ready to work as a hero. He did not want to embarrass himself by saying anything necessary, so he waited for the cues of the rest of the others to actually do things of his own accord. He was so pumped to be on the newest tv episode!

Caraway stood between his daughter and the two strange beings, ready to fight if need be to protect his daughter despite how outclassed he was. If this didn't show he was her father, the striking red hair, pale white skin, and bright green eyes would be a dead giveaway combined with the same shape horns, curving back along his skull. The father was very wary, unsure of what was going to happen.
As Egg waved to invisible people, talking about a TV show, a comedic dark shadow would cross over their upper faces, combined with a bead of sweat trickling down one of the temples of each demon. Their expressions said it all- including what they thought. What. The. Fuck.

Polar could only raise a brow as the strange creature waved around to a nonexistent crowd, proclaiming himself a hero. He wasn't sure was fantasy land he was living in, but decided it better not to question it. Turning his sights onto Tekuma and Caraway, Polar saw that they too were weirded out by the Saibaman's strange behavior. It seemed the creature was just as much a stranger to them as he was to Polar himself.
Still, it seemed harmless enough. Even if it did intend to do damage, it seemed far to meager in power to do Polar any harm, which gave the Arcosian some ease. Right now, he seemed a little more curious about the father-daughter duo.
"I take it that...thing isn't yours?" Polar asked to Caraway and Tekuma.
Leaping down from his post, Polar landed and walked over to them. The father stood in front of the daughter, clearly very protective. Polar expected that. He'd come to expect it throughout his time on Earth. It was why he avoided the main cities. Polar was simply too different to be accepted by the populace.
Stopping a fair ten feet from them, Polar crossed his arms and looked at them. As usual, he held a grimace on his face as he looked them from top to bottom. They were fairly similar, come to think of it, even though the father had a much more vampire-esque look. That was especially true considering that the girl had ram-like horns, which Polar had initially mistaken for a headpiece.
"You two don't look like normal earthlings," Polar pointed out, "So what are you?"

After waving for an indeterminable amount of time, Egg's facial features softened as it started to realize that this was not an episode of any kind. This was not a TV show, or else there would have been a laugh track or some sort of sound effect that would follow the expressions of each of the onlookers, befuddled and dumbfounded with the saibaman's actions. As he thought about it, it really would not make sense whatsoever to shoot scenes for a TV show like this in the middle of nowhere, especially somewhere as dead and hostile as the Yunzabit heights. That, and EGG had to admit to himself that no sentai shows were progressive enough to star anyone that did not look human or at least humanoid, as there was that cyborg sentai show.
EGG would notice that the only ones capable of speech right now was the stronger guy, as for the past while the horned people were completely silent. It was a shame, as they would obviously have said something by now and were probably colorful characters with their own histories and personality. Oh well.
Egg turned to face this strong guy who asked if the saibaman belonged to him, which caused the pink and blue being to step back with a look of surprise on his face. This guy asking about the implications of belonging to them was rather insulting and shocking, as the very thing was villainous indeed. Slavery was something that was outlawed on this planet, slavery is something that should never be accepted in this day and age, and slavery is downright evil.
Pointing a finger at this blue and white being, it would say, "No no no! Slavery outlawed on Earth. Why you think people own me? I am own person, and try work as hero. I sa-... try to save people," as he reached this portion of his talking, he winced as the mentioning of saving people forced him to remember his own failure not so long ago.
The white and blue being would hop down and walk closer to the group, allowing EGG to get a better look at this being. It was obvious that he didn't belong on this planet, but the saibaman did not care. Everyone always treated EGG differently, like and outcast or a monster... Or even a villain! But EGG having the audacity to continue on as if he was just as normal as everyone else gave him a leg up on people that didn't belong. He was making a big effort to blend in.
The thing about this is that alien life was already mingling with humanity, which should mean that there was some level of acceptance involved. Should being the key word, as there still existed bigots in this world.
Wanting to be the one to make a difference and leave a good impression, Egg brazenly walked up to the white and blue guy and extended a hand upward, wanting to perform the human handshake, as he would say with a friendly grin, "Me name is EGG. Nice to meet you!"

Tekuma merely watched as everything took place; from a giant bipedal lizard with frostbite to a strangely colored creature that looked like a science experiment gone wrong, the girl had no idea whatsoever as to exactly what was going on. The hybrid stared at the situation in front of her, the training between her father and herself had just gotten a lot more.. awkward. The teen was left with very view words as she felt the cold glare of Polar upon her and her father, making her a little bit nervous all the same. The frostbitten lizard proceeded to speak; the halfling having had taken a minute to remember this was a type of Arcosian. The power level of the chilly being was much higher than any of the others in this mess, and she was half tempted to try and run despite curiosity rising in her.
Caraway could sense his daughter's curiosity rising, and Polar asked an odd question as if he didn't know what demons were. Needless to say, the father of the hybrid teen spoke with a clear, deep voice that resonated in his throat. "My name is Caraway, and I am a full blooded demon. My daughter is half human, her mother is a purebred human. If you try to harm her though, I will not hesitate to defend her. Now, what exactly are YOU I must ask." The last question was with a bit harsh of a tone, as her father was being as blunt as possible considering how protective he was of his daughter, who was less than a fifth of his strength without the weighted clothing; specifically two blue wristbands that matched her jean shorts.
The hybrid spoke quietly to her father, whispering the answer to Caraway's question with a nervous, soft voice. She shook her head as she had been asked perviously if the deranged science experiment belonged to them. "No, he doesn't belong to us. I don't even know what he is.. But he seems rather colorful on a literal and metaphorical plane." If the last bit of her sentence wasn't proof she was a nerd, the baby blue glasses covering her bright green eyes along with her thin frame indicated she didn't train much; as the girl would MUCH rather prefer sitting in her room with a book to freezing her rear off in the frozen north. She hated the cold with a passion.

Surprisingly, Caraway made himself appear undeterred and even assertive against his hopelessly powerful adversary. It was pretty surprising to Polar, though not shocking. He understood the protectiveness behind it. The harsh attitude at the end, though, made Polar raised a brow.
"Well I am not the butcher you believe me to be," Polar replied in a snarky tone, "My name is Polar, Hou..." He paused for a moment, closing his eyes. He'd almost addressed his full title, but by now he knew it meant nothing. Everything he'd known no longer existed. "Just Polar."
"My name is EGG. Nice to meet you!"
Polar turned to sound of a scratchy, high-pitched voice, and looked down to see the bright-colored palette of a creature extending his hand toward the Arcosian. Definitely a strange creature indeed. From what he could tell, the little guy seemed to be attempting to perform the strange Earthly ritual known as the "handshake". He didn't know what it meant, but it seemed like some sort of friendly gesture.
"Er...hello, little creature," Polar said, softening his stiff expression for a moment. A bit hesitant, he extended his hand and took the Saibaman's--his fingers wrapping around almost half of the creature's forearm--and shook.
He then briefly glanced at his hand, as if expecting something to happen That's it, huh? Polar mused, Earthlings are strange.

Tekuma merely looked on at the Arcosian and the saibaman, unable to say anything that would really affect the mood or the topic. She stayed behind her father; under the supposed protection of the parent. The girl was a shy one, not used to training due to her rather thin frame and her average weight. She struggled to move on some days with the weights on, some frustration arising from the limitation. When it came to carrying her textbooks it was quite a pain, and the heavy binder of work was no laughing matter either. The cold wind snapped her out of it; the girl shivering quietly.
Caraway noticed his daughter's discomfort, and upon decision to take her home gave Polar a slight nod, speaking as he scooped up his daughter and took of. Heading southeast towards Satan City and their home, hopefully she didn't get sick from their training excursion. As they came in the front door, Tekuma went up to her room and her father was immediately yelled at in every way under the sun by her mother. What an odd day today had been.

Polar turned his head as he heard them blast off and watched them just in time to see their blurred figures fade into the distance. He did nothing to stop them, though part of him was a bit disappointed they left him, even though he would never admit it. It only compounded on his feeling of unbelonging. He was just a monster to these earthlings.
Sighing, he looked back down at the Saibaman. For a moment, he stood there in silence and awkwardly crossed his arm while fidgeting his toes. He wasn't much of a one-on-one conversationalist, especially for small talk.
"You should leave, little creature," Polar said, lowering his arms and turning. He began walking in the opposite direction of where the two demons left. "I don't know you earthlings well, but I don't feel you take to kind to these climates."
He began to levitate into the air as he reached a cliffside, and slowly, he drifted off before dashing off in a blast of cyan ki energy. As he flew, the Arcosian quietly contemplated on his future. He knew he didn't fit in here. No kindness of an earthling could change that. This encounter solidified his mission; he needed to find a way off the planet and return home, if there was one left.
The odds didn't look good and it wouldn't be easy, but it was something Polar knew he had to do.
