Ninjin nodded toward Nai-ran. Sure she did not have an exact location but this would be good enough for her. That and she knew Nai’s ki now that she had been in combat beside her. That should help her to find her rather easily should she be in range to sense her once again. “Well it is better than nothing Nai-ran. You have at least given me a general area which that alongside your description of a cave. Aslo for me to look and try to sense your ki should nto be all that difficult. We have fought as allies. Always easier to remember the ki feeling of a close ally then a great enemy..”
Explaining how it is that she would be able to find the Ryashi again in the future made Ninjin smile slightly. As she listened to her confess that she did not know how to cook all that well it made Ninjin chuckle lightly. Shaking her head she just gave a large smile at Nai-Ran as she spoke out loud. “Well I doubt I am much better of a cook than you… Normall I just blast a fish with some ki for a quick fix. Though normally I just place the food on top of the fire and wait for it to smell great then I eat it.”
Pointing at the beast Ninjin began to make motions with her finger pointed out at it as if she was dissecting the beast with her mind. “Ok Nai-Ran. I think that the best meat would be on the tail. So I will use my blade to cut off the largest part of the tail. Then if you want you can slice it I would say about… three maybe four inches in thickness. So then we can look at the cuts and see how much meat the Paozosarus has upon it.”
Pulling the blade off her back she walked slowly around toward the large tail of the beast. Once around to the back shewalked to about a foot down from the main body of the beast. Lining her blade up she took several breaths as she lined up her strike. With a fluid motion of her sword it cut straight through the beasts tail and Ninjin bent over smiling as she looked at the tail. “Looks like he has a decent amount of meat on him. This will be a good meal.”

”I’m sure it will be. If I hadn’t already consumed my fill for the day, I would most certainly be joining you,” Nai-Ran commented while looking over the severed Paozusaurus tail. She had been neglecting what had learned in survival training about how to properly skin an animal thus far. Admitedly, it wasn’t entirely her fault on that one. Until now she had lacked any sort of sharp instrument. It would be good to brush up on it a bit now before it became a regular thing to do around meal time.
Ninjin handed a knife to the young woman. The Ryashi took the knife and perched herself next to the fallen tail. She quickly began to busy herself with the task at hand. The cuts she made were a little sloppy, showing her lack of experience, but they got the job done at least. ”Forgive me if this sounds a bit awkward, but I must ask,” Nai-Ran spoke up while continuing to make her slices, trying to keep the conversation going. ”What’s it like having legs?”
Hopefully the sudden inquiry would weird Ninjin out too badly. She understood very well that it was a difficult one to answer, but that didn’t serve to stifle her curiosity in the slightest. ”Out of all of the different races of people that I’ve met so far on Earth, as well as the ones that vacationed to my home world, every single one of them has had legs. Sure not all of them had been bipedal, but most of them were. Now, I know you can’t exactly choose how you’re born, but is there an appeal to having legs?”

“Well you could at least sit with me and relax though for the feast then set on the road. I mean ten to fifteen minutes shouldn’t matter.” Ninjin smiled as she set aside her larger blade and pulled second blade from her pack. She had begun to work on the tail meat alongside Nai-ran when Nai asked her about legs. Sure it was an odd question to Nin but she shrugged as she stuck her knife into the ground beside the tail.
“Well Nai its hard to explain… it would almost be like me asking you what it is like to not have them, but let me try and describe it to you. As for appeal I would not know as some people here on Earth do get them replaced with cybernetic legs or even small hovering apparatuses. So there are some that do not take the gift that legs are all that seriously. Though back to your question legs are like having two strong tails to stand upon. I assume you can stand on your tail for periods of time if needed right? So best I can describe it would be take that feeling except make it into two specially designed appendages that allow for mobility and for defense.” Ninjin had tried her best to explain what legs where compared to what Nai-Ran had. Despite her appearance Ninjin rather enjoyed Nai’s company as the young Ryashi reminded herself that not everyone out there is bad and in fact there was a lot of good people out there. Though she took a few moments of thought as she went and cut into the PAozaosarus once again getting another steal ready for the small feast.
“Well I want to ask you then since I answered as best as I can. What is it like to have a tail like yours? I have heard that Saiyans also have them but I have never had a tail that I can remember. So I am curious what it is like?”

”Now that I think about it, that should be just fine. I don’t need to pick up too many things while visiting Satan City.” Maybe she had just been eager to see how a large number of humans lived since they weren’t built to survive in the same habitat that she was. Sticking around to socialize for a bit longer wouldn’t be an issue at all after actually stopping to ponder it. Besides, the farmers that lived here seemed to be too happy that she helped take care of their dinosaur problem to worry about the fact that she had such an odd appearance. It was kind of nice.
Nai-Ran listened intently as Ninjin gave her a bit of information when it came to legs. She knew it wasn’t an easy question to answer, so she was grateful for the insight. Though, one of the points she brought up was a little confusing. Legs were built for defense? The Ryashi saw no hard scales or other natural armor covering them. Were they not covered in the same soft skin that they had everywhere else on them? That part was a little over her head...
”That seems fair to me,” Nai-Ran spoke while working at removing the skin from another chunk of meat. ”When I look at people walking around on legs, I always find it a bit fascinating that they’re able to keep their balance. With our tails, we Ryashi don’t have to worry about tripping over anything or losing our balance since they’re so flexible and just glide over everything. Our scales also make them more durable than the rest of our skin.”
Nai-Ran finished cutting away the skin from yet another slice of the Paozusaurus’s tail and looked over the quickly growing pile. ”Hmm, do you think it’s about time to start cooking them yet?” she asked before looking back at the farmers’ homes. ”I beg your pardon! Could somebody please fetch me some firewood?” she called out to them before grabbing another slice and continuing her work.

“Than consider yourself lucky. As these legs while good make us fall over all the time and they while not naturally armored as you are Nai can be easier to place armor over in singular strong sheets than have to have them be broken apart or clustered. Thereby making it weaker.” Letting out a light chuckle at the mention at how clumsy they where she stood and after setting the knife aside showed Nai what she meant. Stumbling about like a fool for a cheap laugh from herself as she tumbled over onto the ground. It was obvious that Ninjin was very relaxed at the moment and very happy go lucky as well. IT was as if the prospect of the food had made her so.
--Time Skip—
The meal had been prepared to perfection and the half saiyan stood beside Nai-Ran as the farmers had begun to clean everything up. Shaking her head Ninjin smiled. “Now that is what I call a meal. The meat was really good and I think it will do these farmers good for a few weeks. So Nai-Ran your heading to Satan City now?”
Ninjin asked as she frowned lightly knowing that the day was reaching its apex and that it would not be long before the sun would begin to set and that her Ryashi friend would have to retreat to the cave where she came from. Despite that Ninjin was happy to of made a new friend on this day despite it starting with a fight against a large dino.

The Ryashi greatly enjoyed chatting with Ninjin all throughout the dinner preparation and even ended up stealing a bite or two of the meat she had helped out with during meal time. While it was true that she had already eaten once that day, it was hard to resist the delightful smell that was coming from the food. Overall it had been quite an enjoyable experience.
”I’m afraid so. I need to give myself enough time to gather up everything I need before all the shops close for the day. The only thing I really have back at the cave is a bit of preserved food, so it’s a little bare for my tastes,” Nai-Ran replied. It was a little saddening to have to leave Ninjin’s company so soon, but at least it sounded like she wouldn’t be waiting very long for a visit from her new friend. ”I look forward to your visit. By then my cave should be far more hospitable. I’ll even have some proper tools in which to cook with. Farewell,” she spoke with a smile and a wave before finally getting back to what she had set out for in the first place.
Hopefully she would still have time to take care of everything. Still, it was a fun distraction to say the least. Nai-Ran helped save a bunch of farmers, made a new friend, and even tried a new type of meat that ended up being rather tasty. Even if the time she had spent in the Spinach Wastes ended up putting a dent in her plans after all, the time was far from wasted.
