AinaTekuma was mulling over the events of the past few days, including meeting Celmaru- a rather.. Quick to anger hybrid, Defrosch the Arcosian along with meeting Retsu shortly after. The coldness of the black Arcosian made her quirk a brow, Retsu was different than Defrosch by a long shot. To her, they were polar opposites! Then there was that strange woman in a business suit, someone named Noxa. Something about the woman made the hybrid feel as if something was off. A mix of different race kis combined into one entity reminded her of Azguard as well. That peculiar yet adorable plasma creature, who seemed to think new things were diseases for some reason. The young demon hybrid hung from a branch in the lower parts of the canopy, mulling everything over and hanging by her knees. Her tail gave her an added grip, curling around the trunk firmly and lessening the weight on her knees. The feeling of a somewhat Saiyan ki hit her senses, the hybrid swinging up and sitting on the thick branch, trying to get a good view of her surroundings. Whoever it was, it definitely made the hybrid curious. Thread PL: 1,100

The Bamboo Forest was a good place for Aina to wander and get lost within. And get lost within its multitude of trees is what happened to her. Except unlike most who would get lost within the forests bounds she had purposely gotten herself lost so that she could wander about and find herself a comfortable place to train her knife work as she had felt herself growing a little rusty with her trusty blades. Wandering around she had felt a few ki signatures inside the area but paid most of them no mind as even within her heavily weighted form she could take care of herself with those close to herself.
Entering a small clearing she smiled at the felled tree that seemed to of created the opening inside the canopy and small field with its demise. :: Perfect. A dead tree to practice my throwing on… and plenty of other targets to use my blades on. Excellent… You know that doing this training might draw some eyes to you. Certain you feel up to it Aina? I mean I can even sense your mother and Lilith about an hours flight out from here. You know she will come looking if you make a large enough racket. Quiet Lhinith… Yes I know that my mother would show up but I could care less. I am needing to train to maintain my strength and be a use to the BBA. No matter what occurs I need to be ready… ::
The internal argument had begun as Aina’s body had begun to seemingly dance about this small clearing her sharpened knives glinting within the air. Unknown to her the steps were a lot like those that her mother had seen Emer do so many months earlier. Moving about within the blackened cat suit she planted her foot and threw her dagger at a nearby tree without looking. The blade would impact the tree hard and the tree would sway as if hit by an incredible force.

The dagger hit the tree the young demon hybrid sad upon, causing the girl to let out a sharp cry of surprise, knocked from the tree and landing flat on her face in the dirt. The wind was knocked out of her, and it was all she could do to roll over onto her back. Stars winked above her head as the girl lay dazed, confused as to what happened.
The ki she had sensed before was close by, and the girl moved to push up her glasses, narrowing her bright green eyes to try and get a better view of her surroundings. The ki was right in front of her, a black shadow that looked like a.. CAT? Is that a Zoanthrope? She wondered, mind wandering to the possibility of a Saiyan cat Zoan.

As the sharp cry echoed out Aina was startled as she was not expecting that to happen when she tossed her knife as she had. A loud thud made her begin to move toward the tree as she hoped she had not accidentally caught a creature within her training. For her she did not like to harm those that did not already deserve it, but when she did she made certain that they would feel the pain that she knew they had inflicted on others. Rushing over she would kneel down beside the person as they seemed to come to. “Hey you alright miss?”
Speaking softly Aina shifted within the skin tight sneaking suit that she had on. Knives lightly clinking against one another on her belt and yet on her shoulder was the obvious sign of her allegiance to the Blue Banner Army. Slowly Aina would stand and offer her hand to the other woman. As she offered the hand she looked over at the tree and noticed a few scuffs and scratches on the tree branches. Which meant to her that this woman had to of been within the branches of the tree. So that meant that she had to of fallen from the tree, but from what Aina could see there was nothing broken on her. Yet in order to be sure she would have to look the other woman over if she was gien the opportunity. “Here let me help you to your feet. It is the least I can do after knocking you out of the tree.”
After helping her to at least a seated position Aina would bow her head toward the other woman. Hand was still resting on her side which was hiding a knife hilt within the palm as despite her outward appearance she was a bit paranoid about every single person she was ever meeting in person.

Tekuma accepted the hand of Aina, noticing the blue banner logo on her shoulder. The girl looked no younger than sixteen, a mere teenager. There were white horns protruding from her head, curling back towards the rear side of her cranium. She rubbed her eyes under her glasses, still seeing a few stars and a little bit of a bloody nose.
The bleeding was faint but stood out on her pale white skin, her hair vivid red and eyes jade green. After shaking her head, despite a headache from landing facedown in the dirt, the girl reached in her pocket and pulled out a small package of sanitizing wipes, wiping the dirt off her face. Tekuma then put it in her pocket along with the used wipe and looked at Aina.
"Thanks for helping me up.." Replied the young halfling, meeting Aina's eyes with her own. There was Saiyan ki, and yet something else within the older woman. Never felt the other part of her genes before, what is it? Wondered the schoolgirl, before offering a smile to the other hybrid. "My name is Tekuma, what's yours?"

“It is no problem. As I said I had not known you where within that tree when I tossed my blade. Otherwise I would of aimed at the tree beside that one. Hard to focus and pick out individual ki signatures when one is focused on training.” Responding to her thanks Aina moved and reached up to take the knife that had managed to go about two inches into the trunk of the tree and pulled it out. Spinning the blade in her left hand with effortless ease she slid it back into her pocket as she looked over at Tekuma and finally noticed the horns upon her head. Her blood red eyes would widen for a split second before as if in a practiced routine went back to a more neutral look to them as the other woman introduced herself to Aina. Then came the question she was expecting to have asked of her. So after a moment she smiled and spoke.
“Names Aina, Major Aina to be more exact.” Speaking as she finally placed her blade down into its sheath and the emblem of her rank was easily seen on the markings on her shoulder. Rubbing her shoulder lightly as she kept a wary glance over at the woman she just met.
“So what brings you out to the Bamboo Forest today Tekuma? As you do not seem to be one of the people that live within the forest. So passing through or just deciding to spend some time here?” As she spoke Aina would pull out a smaller/thinner knife and would begin to seemingly trim some of her fingernails with the blade tip. The ease with which she moved the blade would make it very easy to know she was a practiced hand with the blade and as she did her eyes despite looking down were angled as if she was expecting any sort of trouble from Tekuma.

Tekuma watched as Aina almost effortlessly yanked the blade from the tree and spoke, apologizing for throwing the blade into the tree the hybrid was sitting in. She caught the surprise in the half Saiyan's eyes which rather briefly widened. The blade was easily spun, making Tekuma a little nervous albeit curious.
"No, I don't live here. You see, I come out to study the natural environment of the forest sometimes, when I don't have school or my parents need me around the house. Most people make fun of me for being half demon so I don't have very many friends. I like your name, what branch of the Banner are you in?
The teen seemed friendly and talkative, not really much of a troublemaker and had no harmful intentions as the halfling crossed her legs and sat in the dirt, white whiplike tail laying on the ground beside her.

“So you are still a student? That is really good. Staying in school and becoming a more productive member of society is a good thing. Better than slipping into the gutters of the world and having to do things that most would comdemn you for.” Speaking up rather abruptly Aina stopped what she was doing and looked over at the hybrid. To her she looked at someone that was a lot like her. As Aina did not have many friends growing up as many assumed she was some demon spawn because of her white eyes and bright red eyes. It was only within the past year she had learned the truth of her heritage and even shorter still any sort of pride in that lineage. She sighed as she turned her head to look at the young woman.
“I am inside the Special Forces. What unit and where I am supposed to work is mostly classified. Trust me you would not want to know anything more then that… Because I would have to either force you to join or knock you unconscious.” Looking at her her ki would flare only a little bit before calming back down as Aina inhaled and exhaled slowly. She was reminding herself that the woman meant no harm in anything they were saying and the body language was not of one who actually had formal training and was trying to hide it from Aina’s eyes. So she knew that there was little she had to fear. Lifting her hand she pointed over to the felled tree that lay nearby.
[color-coral] “Come lets go sit down as it is better than standing for long periods of time… “[/color] Trailing off Aina would turn and walk over to the tree and jump onto it sitting down without really trying. The only noise she made as she had moved was the very light knock of the knives she had upon her person. Not even a single fallen leaf was disturbed as she had moved and took the seat. “So half demon? That is an interesting thing. Was it your mother or father that was the demon?”

Tekuma listened to Aina, listening to everything the strange woman had to say. Special Forces? Huh. The hybrid thought curiously, offering a faint smile to the other female. "I want to be in the Science Corps myself, honestly. I love science and to better the world with intellect is something I dream of. I'm not the best fighter, but.."
The young demon hybrid sat beside Aina on the felled tree, looking at the other being with her legs crossed. "If I have to fight I will unless there's another option. I refuse to let anyone harm innocent people or animals. Do unto others as you want done unto you. That is my motto, and if I could help the world by becoming a member of the Science Corps, I would be learning and helping so much. All I want to do is keep my family safe, and help those around me."
The halfling kept her gaze level with Aina's, before sighing and drawing her knees to her chest. "Stupid idea right? Nobody would let a freak like me help. My father was the demon.."

Aina smiled at the girl as she had not met someone who had actually wanted to become a scientist for any other real reason other than some personal vendetta against someone or against nature itself. So this was a welcome change of pace for the Kagami. She actually enjoyed the company for once of the more sciency style of person than usual for some reason. That reason was evident as she felt Lhinith perking at the back of her mind. It was as if the goddess within herself was intensely interested in the demoness’ words. “Do not discount your dreams as stupid. Strive to attain them and when you do attain them aim even higher. Never stop wanting to do whatever it was that put you down your current path. I do what I do because this is all I have ever known and my biology seems to rather enjoy fighting. So I joined the military to allow me to vent these more… violent of urges in a constructive way.”
With Aina’s words spoken the fact she had felt the Saiyan within the white haired girl would be easily seen. As she spoke about the fighting her mouth curled ever so slightly and that smirk that was common to most of the saiyan race would shine through on her face. Taking a few moments before she managed to remember that she had done this and she rather quickly returned her face to the more stone faced look she had perfected in her years in the Earth military before the Blue Banner Army had taken over protecting the planet. “Some would of called me a demon when I was little cause of the rather obvious red eyes. So I can empathize a little with you Tekuma. Though unlike you I did not have that par4ental upbringing. I was bounced from home to home no one really wanting me. So as soon I hit the age of twelve I ran away and lived on the streets where the only thing I could count on was the knives I carry on my person. Forged my age when I turned sixteen and joined the military.”
Speaking up the red eyes Aina looked forward out into the green and life filled area of the forest in front of her. “So that is why I have told you to pursue those dreams. Cause if anyone calls them stupid then they are someone that you should not have to deal with. As they themselves lack the clarity to see the future that you can provide for those that you help on your path. Most of the time they are afraid you will trample them under your boot as you go along the path you create for yourself…”

Tekuma listened to Aina, the hybrid's words hanging in her mind as she remained quiet, listening carefully to the story the Saiyan hybrid had to say. The woman seemed wise and yet, the fact she had lied to the military struck something in her heart. "You had to forge your age though.. I can't lie. I'm a terrible, terrible liar. I can't lie to save my life."
The teen seemed to be very discouraged, as if more than a few people tormented and laughed at her. "You know, I never get away from people laughing at me, hitting me, or making me cry.. I get looks no matter where I go, and nobody understands how I feel. The army works in unison, if only the world worked like that. I want to bring the world together, and I hope I meet Virtual Poi someday."

“The lie however kept me from starving on the street. And at the time it was the Earth Military not the Blue Banner Army. So my employ with the Blue Banner Army has been nothing if not legitimate. And everyone can lie. It is just in differing degrees how successful you are. If you act nervous when you lie then they will suspect you completely. If you come off with confidence in what you are saying then there is a chance that the person will believe you no matter what. Just remember that cause someday it might just save your life.” Aina spoke as if she herself had done this exact technique in the past. Then again she did use every advantage she knew of or could think of when it came to her missions.
Looking over at the young hybrid she shook her head and reached over placing a hand onto her shoulder as she seemed to be discouraged. Patting it a few times she seemed to be attempting to reassure her as best as the lifelong military soldier could think of to do. “Hey cheer up. As despite all those looks and abuse you can make them respect you. Create something that they cannot live without, Cure something thought incurable, or become strong enough to defend all their lives and they will beg for forgiveness for what they have done to you… Or at least that is the advice I can give to you on that. It is just what I have done…”
Shrugging she pulled her hand back and rested it in her lap. The mention of Administrator Azure made her smile widely. The android turned leader of the Blue Banner turned Planetary President was an inspiring man to say the least. She had only met him a singular time and that was in passing when he had come along to inspect a base in one of his more mundane and routine administrative things. “The President is a very busy man and yet he has made time to be at every installation and to see to the Blue Banner Army in person. Yet he still runs the planet and has to be one of the strongest people in the universe.”

Tekuma listened to Aina, seeing the logic in the warrior's voice. It brought a weak smile to her lips as she also felt a pat on the back. "Thank you. I do agree, the president is an amazing person. Despite what some would say about him being mechanical, the effort he puts into the Earth and the army that protects it as a whole is remarkable."
The demon gave a light chuckle, tail twitching beside her on the log. "I will do what I can to help the Earth, and not for any other reason than to aid others in need and protect my family.." The halfling looked to the sky, a clear patch of blue where the tree had fallen. "Have you thought of the sky being the Blue Banner Army? It's always there, gives us life and strength. Protects us from our sun as well.. The BBA is kind of like that, and someday I want to be a part of the sky, helping those around me."

Aina chuckled and shook her head from side to side. “We do not see him as an android despite knowing full well that he is one. For myself I see him as as much flesh and blood as we are to one another. He has bled for this planet. He has taken risks for this planet and was front and center when it came time to defend it. So I can safely say that most of if not all the Blue Banner Army would die for him.”
Turning her gaze as the demoness chuckled she watched as her gaze moved up into the sky past the treetops of the Bamboo Forest. Taking a moment as she listened to the words she spoke she nodded in agreement. To her she had spent many a night contemplating what it was the planet was in the grander scheme of things. Especially when she was in her youth she had done that. Nowadays the only time she ever really found to stare up into the sky was when her mission where completed. “The sky is much more than just the army within which Aina serves. The sky is like our blanket. It surrounds us and comforts us when we need it. It protects everyone here from the harshness of space and allows all the lovely feelings that come from sounds, smells, and tastes from being dulled as the emptiness of space does. ..”
A strange yet soft voice would come from Aina’s mouth. Its tone was obviously different and had a ethereal quality to it. If she were to look into her eyes she would see that the red had faded into a violet in color. Keeping her gaze up into the sky she would continue. “Despite the fact that the fact space is so cold there is warmth to be found out there. Inside the arms of another, inside the arms and home of family, and places that you can just be yourself within. That is why this planet is as special as it is. As this is one of the few free planets across the galaxy. Ones that do not fall beneath the sway of the galactic powers…”
