[Thread PL: 3,366]Project 278, or Linus, had been on a stroll through the eastern lands of Earth, simply wandering about. After his last encounter with another android, he had been set on becoming a defender of this world, and protecting those that needed it. His Creator had made the mistake of giving him the ability to have feelings and human nature. He hadn't thought that things would go like this if he did it, but the past is the past. Having been roaming Earth for a while, he had seen the corrupt ways of humans. Many humans were simple. They wanted fame, power, fortune, all they thought about was their gain. However, there are humans who are different, complex and intellectuals you may call them. The android only saw few people who put others in front of themself. Those people care for the world and the for the good of humanity. Linus let out a robotic sigh. He really wished he had someone to speak to about these things. Whether it be a fellow android being or some humanoid specimen.
"Disappointment. That is the feeling I feel when I realize I have nothing generally in common with any of these othee beings. It is also the feeling I feel when I have nothing to do...or is that the word boredom?" Linus pondered for a moment. He had been programmed to know many things, but he wasn't specifically programmed to be able to sort and figure EVERYTHING out. Then again, his lack of grammar and vocal knowledge is due to his creator wanting to make an android that rarely spoke. "Ah, how nice would it be to actually have someone to converse my genius inquiries of the various races that inhabit this planet. Then again... Many of these flesh monkies have the mental capacity of chickens..." Just as the android stated this, a human with blonde hair and a green shirt walked by while using a touch screen device, suddenly yelling something about a monster of some sort appearing nearby. Linus scanned the area, yet saw no such monster. Looking back at the human Linus saw him walk into a tree. The man screamed something about not catching the monster on his device. "Checking database. Human specimen of the male gender. Blue pupils and blonde hair. Small figure, possibly around ages 16-20. Analyzing status. Data not found. Human's general condition: Fucking dumbass. Proceeding with action of slamming palm against my facial area." Linus facepalmed with great force, knocking himself onto the ground. "Please tell me there are some intellectual specimens on this planet."

Tekuma was walking in the park they were in, a park on the outskirts of the city. The trees rustled gently in the wind as the young hybrid walked with a book in her hands. She once again had her trusty sketchbook and her pencil, the mechanical pencil tucked safely behind her ear.
A sudden thud was quickly picked up by her hearing, and the teen went to investigate the source. What fell? Did someone drop a lot of metal or did an android fall over? Better go see.. The curious teen soon came across a man with no ki, which she quickly identified as a android due to lack of ki.
"Hey, are you alright?" Asked the curious halfling, extending a hand to help up the manlike android. Her sketchbook was safely tucked under her opposite arm, and she was concerned for the strange android.

The android stared up at the blue sky, his eyes wandering around, spotting figures formed by clouds. As he laid on the ground he heard a gentle voice direct itself towards him. Linus looked up, a young lady with red hair and spectacles hovering over the android's body. Her face seemed rather concerned, and she extended her hand towards him.
Linus gripped her hand, his face emotionless and bowed his head slightly. "Thank you, miss. I am alright, I was just... Knocked off my feet by the idiocy of a certain human who had appeared moments ago."
Linus analyzed the young woman, his eyes scanning her. He had no real power level reader, but something about her definitely gave off some hidden power. His eyes shifted, fixated on the sketch book she had tucked under her other arm. She must be an artist. Suddenly, his eyes fell back on her head, where he saw... Horns? The android tilted his head.
"Pardon me if this is a bit strange, but are those...horns on your cranium? Are you some sort of an- I mean hybrid species?"

Tekuma's white, long and whiplike tail hung behind her, softly twitching every now and then as she pulled Linus up. The android glanced at her sketchbook before looking her over, speaking of her horns, which everyone seemed to stare at nowadays.
"I am a demon hybrid, these horns are part of my genetic structure and so is my tail. As of you, might you be an android? I can't sense your ki but I heard you fall over." The teen switched back towards Linus, looking at him curiously as she awaited his response.

The young android nodded as the woman spoke of her genetics and how her horns came from her demon side. Linus was interested really of how two different specimens created such a being as the one standing in front of him. As an android, it would be hard to believe that he had a liking for the girl, more so, something about her made Linus feel good. The android snapped back to reality when the young woman asked him if he was an android. She took notice of his lack of ki being given off.
"Well, it looks like there are people who are more knowledgeable than average. I am indeed an android. Project 278, but you may call me Linus. May I have the privilege of knowing your name, miss? "

Tekuma watched Linus as the gaze of the android continued to look her over, blinking her eyes and adjusting her glasses, allowing the being to have silence to mull over what thought processes were going through his head. As he introduced himself, Tekuma nodded gently. "Hello Linus. The name is Tekuma Mayakon."

Linus nodded slightly, taking in the name of the woman. He pushed it somewhere in the back of his database with the rest of the things he kept there. His face still emotionless, Linus pointed out the sketch book Tekuma held under her arm.
"I see you have a sketch pad with you, Tekuma. Are you an artist? A scholar maybe? You definitely look like you should be in school. Then again, there are many people who don't attend school on this planet."

Linus pointed out her sketchbook, and asked if she was an artist or perhaps a scholar. The young hybrid smiled at the android and answered the sudden question. "Well, I'm both. I draw animals in my spare time or if a school project requires me to. I don't have school today, so that's why I'm not in school."
She gestured to him with her spare hand, being rather friendly to the android, as she was to almost everyone she met. "So what about you? What do you do in your spare time or for a living?"

Linus nodded as Tekuma spoke of how she was both an artist and a scholar, when she wasn't simply drawing out of enjoyment she was in school. That seemed like a typical human thing to do, at least to Linus it was. However her next question would be what truly made Linus wonder.
Tekuma asked him what he did for a living. Linus tilted his head once again, trying to think of something to say. "Honestly, I don't do anything really. I was only created some months back, and was programmed mainly to kill Blue Banner Army soldiers. That didn't work out too well, I decided to override my programming and go off on my own. I've actually just been roaming the planet aimlessly since then."

A shiver ran down the young girl's spine, as she reached behind her back, grabbing something, and swiftly put it in her back pocket hoping he didn't notice. That something was a blue banner army logo and she was now faintly nervous. "You don't want to kill blue banner soldiers anymore, right?" Tekuma asked, hear rate having lightly increased.

Linus eyed Tekuma, who suddenly sounded nervous. The hybrid picked at the back of her head strangely before returning her arm to her side. She asked him if he still wanted to kill Blue Banner Soldiers. Linus looked at her with curiosity, wondering if she had any relation to them.
"Well, not really. I don't want to kill their soldiers, no. However, I do want to find out about this Virtual Poi person. The last time I heard anything of the Blue Banner Army, apparently Virtual Poi had gone rogue and went on a killing spree. I was most intrigued, and wanted to know more behind these occurances. Do you, by any chance, know anything of him, or of the Blue Banner Army?"

Tekuma was relieved to hear Linus wasn't after Blue Banner Soldiers anymore, and as he asked her a few questions she took a moment to respond. "I don't mean to be rude, but I might not be in a position to disclose blue banner information." She replied quietly.

Linus made an awkward face as Tekuma replied by saying she didn't think she was in a position to tell him such information. The android nodded, understanding that he was a stranger, so giving that kind of information would be a bad decision.
"Forgive me, of course you wouldn't be able to, not to a stranger of course. Well, what do you study? More so, what subject do you believe you'd like to have a career in? Science? Technology? Mathematics?"

Tekuma scratched her neck as Linus asked her a question, to which she would honestly reply. In her eyes, there was no reason to lie to the android as he was not intending to harm her. "When I grow up, and pick a career, I want to be a Blue Banner scientist. I want to help the world I live on, protect it in a way I know I can."
The hybrid chuckled, looking at herself and continuing. "Heh. I'm not the best fighter, father has taught me a little bit but I see no reason to fight when you can talk with others about the situation. I'm one of the best students at Orange Star, and I can use my gift of intelligence to aid others."
