Namorel Powerlevel: 2,700
"Why do places like this exist?" Namorel thought to himself as he continued to trek through the sand. He looked up at his antennae and thought to himself, "Sometimes I wish these things could sense water like a divining rod." He flicked the small appendages that protruded from his head. They did very little for him from what he could tell... he never bothered to try anything unorthodox with them before, or at least that was his mind set on Namek... now he was on Earth perhaps it was time to try something out of the ordinary if it was a life or death situation.
The sand was a very loose, occasionally broken by rocks that managed to rise above the grains of sandy matter around it. Pillars of stone rose above the sand, some cracked from erosion and others almost pristine against the sandy background. However there was water no where in sight, and that was what Namorel was looking for desperately, he had to find it to quench the thirst caused by the sun above, the heat reflecting off of the sand, which didn't absorb the heat, but rather treated it like a mirror does light.
Sweat rolled down his face, dripping off the ends of his antennae and unto his shoes. Small ridges began to form in the more exposed parts of his body, a small sign of early dehydration and showed he was already beginning to lose himself. Then he smelled it, water. The smell was faint, but it was on the surface. He turned and headed off towards the direction he smelled it in, to get the water that lay in the distance. He had never been in a position like this in his entire life, growing up around water and having the luxury of living on a planet that seemed to have a higher water content than land mass.
He had no idea there may be anyone else around due to his inability to sense ki and focus on his survival as a whole. Perhaps it was a bad idea for him to land here without a steady supply of water, then again how would he know that this place was a land decrepit of water and purely made of searing hot sand. He was still unsure of all the things this planet held that did not exist on Namek or in any of the legends the elders had told him.

Mu-Kal wanted a change of pace. He had spent too long on his usual route around the city, he needed to work up a sweat, and what a better place than the wastelands. He'd spent alot of time there meditating. Becoming patient, and hungry a lot of the time. Mu-Kal chuckled to himself slightly.
He was stood upon a large mesa of what looked like hardened sand, before unexpectedly leaping off, moving the red pole strapped to his back to his hands, flicking a button. Two cross beams shot out at the hands and feet, he gripped on tight and tucked his feet onto them. The wings appearing from the main body of the pole. A large fore wing and aft wing made him look like a giant crimson red bird. The KAOS logo on each side of the wing, clearly labelled him as a BBA member.
After several hours of landing, having some water from several bottles he brought with him. He would then take off back into the sky with a large ki explosion pro-pulsing him into the air and re-expanding his glider. He eventually found something that wasn't sand coloured, a small green and purple shape in the distance. Mu-Kal decided to investigate

Mu-Kal noticed the shape slowly approaching, still not sure what the creature was or what it wanted, he continued his flight path. The shape beginning to become larger. He got within roughly a mile of it and realized it was humanoid in shape. 'What was someone doing out here on a day like this' he thought to himself before he realized that he,she whatever it was might be doing the same thing that he is. Training.
Mu-Kal shocked by his own realization, increased his dive towards the humanoid, hoping to find a partner to train with. Mu-Kal always found multi-person training much more exciting and helpful that solo sessions. But it'd been a while since he had done either, he was trying to get back into the swing of things but it was slow going.
Once Mu-Kal was around a few hundred meters he, flicked the button on his glider and it all collapsed back into a pole. As he fell through the roughly 30 meters of air to the ground, he let out a few ki blasts to slow his descent before approaching the creature on foot. Feeling the hot sand's temperature seep into his boot he felt sorry for the creature

Namorel Powerlevel: 2,700
"I could have sworn..." Namorel said to himself in spite of himself. He could have sworn he smelled it, but there was nothing in the vicinity of where he stood... and the smell had dissipated and Namorel was fairly distraught. He looked in all directions, almost completely unsure as to where he was at at this point. He sighed, just sitting in the sand while trying to come up with a solution to the situation he had found himself trapped in. He now knew that he would indeed need a water skin of some sort if he ever wanted to trek back out here however.
His skin was very, very wrinkled at this point, signs of severe dehydration were imminent, his antennae lay almost flat against his seemingly hollowed face. He had a harrowing expression in his eyes, emanate a slight regret from his foolish decision to come into this sort of biome without preparing for it before hand. The earth indeed had interesting quirks to it that Namorel respected or enjoyed the beauty of, but this was far from one of them.. he had come to absolutely hate this sort of landscape, with the sand making the already unbearable condition of the heat a million times worse on the weakened namekian.
Namorel looked up to the individual that had come in his direction. "Have you come to insect this rapidly shriveling piece of carrion?" Namorel said sarcastically, trying to improve his mood without letting out signs of his hopelessness to this person he had yet to have the 'pleasure' of meeting. He was unsure as to the person's intent, but hoped for the best from the situation at hand.

Mu-Kal continued his approach to the now clearly visible green man in a turquoise robe. He looked at the hollow looking creature, up and down, not entirely sure what he was but he looked like he needed a drink, luckily he brought a spare bottle of water with him. He reached into his robes retrieving the spare bottle, he threw it to the creature.
"I'm not here to inspect anything, uhh sir. I'm just here to train. I wasn't expecting to meet anyone out here." He said with a smile. He then extended his glider to use as a umbrella. Walking to the side of the what appears to be green man he shaded him with the makeshift umbrella "What're you doing out here, without water by the looks of it?" Mu-Kal asked slightly mockingly, but mostly just curiously. He then stuck the glider into the ground and sat under the shade.

The humanoid threw a bottle of what appeared to be water to him, Namorel took this, removing the cap to it as quickly as he could and drank it rapidly. It took a moment, but the green color to his skin took it's former lighter and fuller color, expanding back out and not being nearly as wrinkled as it was before. He sighed, coming close to dehydrating like a flower under an unquenched sun. However he had been saved by this unknown individual who just so happened to also be in the desert at the same time.
"No need for the formailty... I'm not that old. Thank you for the water. I'm, some what aimlessly, travelling the planet in search of someone to formally train under." Namorel replied, looking at his hands and popping his kneck as he said this, then rising to his feet. "And as far as water goes, I had no idea a landscape like this existed, I've only been on this planet for a few days now." Namorel continued, making an obvious disdainful notion towards teh desert, he found it to be almost as bad as that trap water that surrounds most of this planet.

Mu-Kal was shocked to see the creature expand and become more vibrant as he drank. It was a strange sight, but he'd seen stranger. The man(?) began to talk. and slowly stretch before standing, towering over Mu-Kal. He leaned back slightly to make eye contact with the green man. Upon mentioning the formality thing "Uhhh sorry i guess it's just i'm used to being polite. Looks like you took the wrong turn to get here." Mu-Kal chuckled "A new arrival eh? Listen you just need to go that way to reach a city, or fresh water. I found that out the hard way." Mu-Kal pointed east towards the capitol.
"If you get there you should be fine, or would you prefer an escort?" Mu-Kal asked, re- attaching the glider to his back. "Well i'm going to be going that way anyway, need to resupply on water." He said finishing off his bottle of water.

As Namorel stood up, rising to his feet with greater ease now that he had been rehydrated, the humanoid seemingly appologized for the formality, which Namorel didn't really ask for, but he thoguht back on his tone and saw that as a possible way to imagine it. The humanoid then pointed him to the East, back the way Namorel had come. "Yeah, I'm not too fond of the city myself, it's too noisy." NAmorel flatly said on the matter of visiting the city, he had decided the day before that he would return there as little as he had to... for now t the least.
"I wouldn't mind accompanying you on your way back however... this place is hellish enough as it is." Namorelsaid, propelling himself into the air about fifteen ffet before miantaining a stationary glide with his ki. He ad yet to learn the exact mechanism behind ki manipulation whith in itself, but he had been taught to fly as one of his first lessons by his mentors on Namek. He would wait for the stranger to lead the way, somewhat confused as to how far into the sandy wasteland he was.

"Well if the city's not what you're into there's a small oasis to the south.... Sometimes." Mu-Kal said, slightly disheartened that the man didn't enjoy the city. However there was indeed an oasis that sporadically appeared. Maybe it would be there today, he hoped. Mu-Kal Wrapped his tail around his waist, and re-adjusted his glider so he could fly with it. "Off we go!" Mu-Kal said enthusiastically, launching himself into the sky with a blast, kicking up a large amount of dust, he once again positioned his arms and legs in the spurs and aimed southwards.
Mu-Kal was around 30 feet into the air. Gliding gently southwards, enjoying the shade that his glider gave him. "So what were you doing out in the desert? Oh that reminds me the name's Mu-Kal, and you are?" Mu-Kal asked, shaking his head slightly at his own incompetence.

"What exactly is an oasis?" Namorel asked, obviously unaware of many of the geological structures and such that existed on planet Earth. He was used to around three types of geology... and not a single one of them wanted to kill you on the spot. However, he still followed the stranger, hoping that this oasis would have water in it... at least enough to hydrate him teh remainder of the way, as the water bottle he had been given was enough to keep him alive, but he would dry out rather wuickly again if he didn't get a fill, or at least a partial one.
The stranger introduced himself as Mu-Kal, almost acting like he was punishing himself for no doing so prior. "I'm Namorel. and as for me being in the desert, i'm looking for a mentor, i need to train more and make myself strong enough to help others, i left namek before i could finish my training there and well... now i'm here.' he replied, answering both questions rather quickly and without holding back any haste.

"An Oasis is a place in a desert, like this one, where there is water." Mu-Kal answered, respecting the alien's lack of geography. "You really haven't been here long have you?" Mu-Kal asked almost expecting a yes. He hoped the oasis wasn't dried up, then again this time of year, it should be there, he believed. Mu-Kal adjusted his grip to one hand and then used the other to reach into his clothes, grabbing his water bottle and quickly finishing it off.
"Namorel eh? Nice to meet ya, Namek, don't think i've heard of that really, but if you're looking for a mentor there are plenty around." Mu-Kal kept on gliding, in the distant he can see what looks like trees. Assuming it's the Oasis he carries on "I think we're getting close."

From the way Mu-Kal described the oasis Namorel decided it would be a much better alternative to the decrepit landscape they currently stood in. "Not really... about a week your time if I had to guess." The namekian spoke, the day/night cycle still wonderous to him.
"Namek is a wonderful place, never this hot... kind of a mild temperature all the time." Namorel said about Namek, still following Mu-Kal as they flew closer to the oasis Namorel wished to drink from, the sun was already getting to him once more, but not quite to te extent it was before.

"Wow only one week, i can see why you didn't know what a desert was." Mu-Kal chuckled and repaired his grip, returning to this two hands on each fore spar. "I remember my first few weeks here." Mu-Kal remembering the first time he turned into an oozaru much to his adoptive mother's dismay. "I may have to visit some day." Mu-Kal storing the information, probably to not be remembered.
"We're getting close!" Mu-Kal aimed his dive towards the first tree he could see, the water started shimmering, slightly blinding him. The red glider shot through the sky speeding past Namorel getting close to the pool of water. Upon reaching it he collapsed his glider and dived into the pool

Mu-Kal seemed to understand Namorel's lack of knowledge on the planet, mentioning almost indirectly that e too was foreign to the planet. That made Namorel curious as to where he came from, regardless of his race it could be anywhere honestly. However he didn't let this filter his thoughts and kept his eyes ahead of him, awaiting the promises of water at this oasis ahead of them. He tried to smell out for it, but his glands had dried up due to the lack of water, making him rely solely on the stranger.
In no time however Mu-Kal exclaimed they were there before dropping into water below. Namorel would soon follow, landing ashore and taking a few drinks from the water in order to fully rejuvenate his energy and to re hydrate himself.
