Hi there! So we all know the iconic scene in early Dragon Ball Z where Vegeta reveals his trump card, the ability to produce a false moon to utilise his Oozaru transformation despite the Z-warriors having previously blown the moon up (to no detriment to the Earth of course hurhurhur).
Well, I propose a way to implement the technique in a tier system here!
Tier 1 would be working the weakness out of your tail so the user is unaffected if it is grabbed, as outlined in another suggestion thread (I believe the one with the changes to existing races/transformations).
Tier 2 could produce an artificial moon, but the cost being that the amount of energy needed to produce said effect means the Oozaru is weakened (a 5-7x Oozaru as opposed to the whole 10x)
Tier 3 could be that you've mastered the moon technique, so you get the full Oozaru schbang.
It could also be that the Tier 3 variant is locked away until a pre-requisite PL is reached (30-50k).

I'm not against this system. In fact, it sounds pretty good. BUT, I would still maintain that the final version, with all the benefits, can only be taught by a master on Planet Vegeta.

I would like to state that I previously asked about a fake moon tech and was told after everyone's consensus that we would have to learn it from a master of that race so most likely someone on vegeta. I wanted one myself after learning to control my ape form and trust me, I was a sad monkey when I learned I couldn't make it.
Otherwise, I LOVE this idea and even if the final tier was locked away until taught, the other 2 would be an asset and would work nicely.

I don't see a problem with this considering that Saiyans are meant to be pretty strong fighters, even if they don't have this technique. But I would like to know how big these false moons would be in the sky.

They're fairly localised. Vegeta's one expanded in the sky, but it was still only in the canyon-y area they were fighting.
