Aizig walked along a side walk amongst the citizens of the city called 'West Capitol'. The arcosian didn't exactly blend in nor was he trying to. Though to someone with the ability to sense ki, he'd be pretty hard to make out among the crowds of people. He was just exploring the city, looking through the stores, trying to get a feel of what Earthlings liked. Fashion, foods, trinkets, whatever might sell well once he decided to set up shop. Stopping in front of a store window, he stroked his chin. Clothing. He had plenty of clothing that Earthlings would be interested in...
Moving on her looked into another store. "Yes...I believe I'll do pretty well out here..." he murmured, thinking out loud. He walked away from the store and continued on his way. Maybe he could just wander around a bit. He had told his people to do the same...

It was a rare occasion to find Sorrel shopping. His clothes were an alien material that suited his needs and his research was supported heavily by Earthling libraries. The only thing he usually ever hit the town for was food and the occasional night of barhopping. But he had suddenly gotten the idea of buying a new home. Although his vagabond lifestyle was affordable and sustainable, he found not having a permanently available place of study to be quite the inconvenience. So why was he in the shopping district? The home he sought was not land property, but a space ship! It meant he could travel immediately after wrapping up his business on a planet and not have to worry about maintaining a house. The only issue was finding a ship dealer, and the distractions presented by the rest of the surrounding shops.
"Wait, you're telling me Earthlings consider ancient Saiyan attire to be contemporary fashion?" His question came upon finding a certain Kenji Westo collection display, consisting of torn and dull fabrics that were over-sized and rough. "How preposterous. In fa-- Aa--!!"
He found himself so wrapped up in his observations that he bumped into a stranger.
"Terribly sorry there, mate. I'm just trying to comprehend these Earthling fashion trends!"
He then noticed the fellow was an Arcosian. Sorrel fought one of those before, and it was not a pleasant experience. He really hoped this one didn't have a short temper.

Aizig's attention was currently focused on something across the street so he did not notice the young man walk towards him. He staggered a bit when the young man bumped into him, causing Aizig to turn around to see it was. Fortunately for Sorrel, Aizig was not short tempered, nor was he really one to start fights at all really. And besides, he apologized. Good manners were always a plus in Aizig's book. "That's alright, I was distracted as well."
Looking at the the clothing in the window he chuckled. "I've seen weirder things...." he said. He himself wasn't really one for fashion. He'd sell clothes but...Really Arcosians in general didn't bother with clothing. Most of what was on his own body was organic matter, minus his pants and part of his footwear. Sure some may wear clothing but...A lot of Arcosians didn't wear anything.

Sorrel arched a brow. This Arcosian was particularly approachable, but even more curious was his article of clothing. All of the Arcosians he met usually wore their skin, seeing as it was an armored shell that left no unmentionables exposed. That suddenly made this specimen a strange case.
"Now that I think about, I think you're the first Arosian I've met that wears clothes." He tilted his head, a normal expression of his childlike curiosity. But he eventually just shrugged it off, as it wasn't too farfetched for an alien to try and blend in with a simplistic method. Or for one to find pants comfortable.
"It's not really any of my business, but mind if I ask what you're doing on Earth?" Most aliens he met came to Earth to discover new martial arts. He himself was interested in the information it held. But Sorrel soon realized his manners were still lacking.
"Oh, yeah! Name's Sorrel."

Aizig looked down at his pants. "Yes, my people tend to forgo clothing. There are those were wear them however." he said, looking back to the young man. He stepped to the side, closer to the building, as to not be in the way of anyone coming down the sidewalk. At the question of why he was on Earth, he chuckled. "Ah well. Had an encounter with some pirates....They managed to deal a crippling blow to my ship which caused it to crash after we entered orbit. The wreckage is somewhere out in the North. I'm now attempting to acquire funds to purchase a new one...and some other things while I'm here."
When an introduction was made, he bowed slightly. "Aizig. Merchant. Nice to meet you."

Sorrel tilted his head at the response. He hadn't expected the reason to be so exciting. It was strange to hear pirates did the Arcosian's ship in, seeing as Saiyans and Arcosians were technically pirates. Pirates united under the banner of an empire, but still pirates when one examined their foreign policies.
"That's rough, buddy." He was not quite sure if there was much else he could offer as condolence, but Aizig seemed to be pushing onwards and that piqued Sorrel curiosity.
"Wait, as in you're gonna set up shop here?" The look of amazement that followed wasn't really a display of no faith in the Arcosian, so much as disbelief that he would found his market with nothing on his person. But Sorrel was quite capable when he shut up and thought for a second.
"Ahhh, I see." He said, smirking slightly at Aizig, "So you're scouting out the market to see what your competition looks like? That's some warrior thinkin' there."

Aizig nodded. "I've actually done business here before, bought a capsule fabricator to help store my goods...but that was some years ago." he said. "I travel planet to planet. It's a good thing my merchandise survived the crash. The thing it's all contained within is very durable." As it should be. He paid a hefty price to get the thing after all. Looking around, he clasped his hands behind his back. "I'm mainly trying to see how things may have changed between my last visit and now. See what kinds of things people of this planet buy. Tastes change from decade to decade after all..." he said, chuckling.
Turning, he looked into the window again. "The fact that most of my goods are likely exotic to Earth will probably help." he added, reaching up to rub his chin in thought.

"Ah." So he was a merchant by trade. Sorrel was under the impression that Aizig was in the planet claiming business like the majority of his kin, though he supposed he was a bit presumptuous for assuming such. After all, the Solar Saiyan Empire was just as prone to annexing other worlds/. But Sorrel hadn't set foot on a planet with the purpose of conquering it for quite some time now. He was but a child the last time he was deployed for such a task, and he was currently enjoying quite an extensive sick leave ever since. He nodded, now that he understood a bit more about the Arcosian's disposition.
"Yeah, it's safe to say that Earthlings tend towards articles that are quirky and unique." He paused, as a subject of curiosity came to mind. Intergalactic trade was one thing, because everyone was a stranger in space. But setting up camp on Earth seemed far less painless. Then again, he may have been projecting his experiences of being shunned for his Saiyan blood.
"Do you find it easy to interact with the Earthlings? Many of them are... timid, I guess, when it comes to meeting beings that are different."

Aizig shrugged in response. "They's probably say the same about other races int he galaxy." he said, pacing around a bit. When asked if he found it easy to interact with Earthlings. "Well the fact Arcosians haven't invaded recently and have been hit by the same empire probably helps....No offense." he said, "I don't hate Saiyans, and it was bound to happened eventually if the AE didn't get their crap together.....To answer the question, I find it as easy as dealing with any other being different from myself just about." he said.
Raising a finger to scratch his head, he added: "Probably helps that I'm not an ass like some of my people as well..." He chuckled at this. "I've wandered around long enough that I've dealt with many different cultures. I know basically how to deal with most species of civilized life....They're not actually all that different minus a few quirks. Well truthfully I don't get to deal with many Saiyans....Since I try staying out of SSE territory..."

"Oh, I've long disassociated myself with the Solar Saiyan Empire," he scoffed. Though topics involving his heritage held a tendency toward putting him in a bad mood, Sorrel couldn't help but chuckle at the statements, They were well said, and certainly not wrong. Although he had long cut himself off from any Saiyan contacts, news of events like what transpired on Arcosia spread across the universe like wildfires.
"They should be avoided. As they are currently, they're a plight to themselves and all that exists around them...," he responded, his eyes glossed in a cold stare at the bitter history he shared with his kind. His hostility seemed to dissolve just as quickly as it came, a relaxed smirk replaced his tense grimace. It was as if he held an answer to the perceived problem.
"But I've met plenty of good-natured Saiyans on Earth. Arcosians, too. For a planet that attracts the worst, it sure can bring out the best in them. Yet these Earthlings are generally considered at the bottom of the food chain."
He chuckled.

Aizig watched a few pedestrians walk by as he spoke. "Well there is that.....and the fact the AE and SSE are known for a long history of not being real friendly towards each other anyway." he said. True things may have been somewhat calm in the years before Zucceta rose to power and assaulted the Arcosian homeworld, but the two empires had never really been allies. Probably never would be.
He nodded at the mention of Sorrel having met good natured people of both races. "Yes, thinking that every Saiyan is like the majority of those raised in the SSE's way is ignorant. Or that every Arcosian is a cold, dominating fiend." At the talk of the Earthling's position on the 'food chain' he chuckled, looking out at the crowds of people. "That's because they haven't really had to worry about Galactic threats until somewhat recently. Earth has been kind of a 'back water' planet. The only reason it hasn't been taken by now is probably because there were hundreds of planets between the two larger empires and it...But now since both have grown so much.....Well they'll need to start getting their military using energy instead of relying purely on technology. Even the weakest soldier in the AE or SSE could wipe out a chunk of one of their cities with just his or her natural capabilities....And I saw what happened to their northern capitol....They've been rebuilding but you can tell they were hit severely." he said, sighing a bit. "I'm sure I am not the only one who's noticed this. I do not believe Earth can continue to allow most of the soldiers protecting it to go on without some intense training to get their capabilities to match the two Empires' warriors."

"Zucceta," he muttered instinctively. Sorrel had been detached from the Solar Saiyan Empire for ten years at that point, minus one brief visit to settle some family business. As a result, he was not very in the loop with current events on Vegeta. Still, Zucceta was the first individual to come to mind when talk of Vegetan foreign affairs started. Between the attack on Earth and destruction of Arcosia in spite of the intergalactic treaties, she seemed like the epitome of Sorrel's fears as far as the future of Vegeta went. But he could not just blame her for the Saiyan-Arcosian beef. Legends from millenia prior installed a sort of rivalry in the two species that held a tendency to be catastrophic when indulged.
"Ah?" He parted from his despairing thoughts to embrace a new perspective. Sorrel had always visualized revolution as something brought on by one taking it upon themselves to crush an oppressive force. He never really considered reinforcing the oppressed so that they could stand up for themselves. The other seemed quick and simple, the latter seemed tedious and prolonged. Sorrel wouldn't completely dismiss the idea, as he had a tendency to not recognize the deeper value of certain things when his mind invested so much value in an alternative.
"I'll preface this by letting you know that your answer won't affect my view of you in any way. But I'm curious, is that thought out of empathy or pragmatism? That is, do you care because they may get hurt or are you afraid that them getting hurt will also hurt your business?"

Mochi arrived in the large city starching his chin walking around the city aimlessly, he had no idea were he should be going nor were he was going. He had never been down north before, this was his first time this far south, the heat was something he was not use too, but he would get over it. He spotted a large alien looking creature talking to a human he assumed. "What am i seeing." He said confused rubbing his eyes. He must be in a dream. As he opened his eyes he could still see the two men talking to one another. "Now this is confusing." He muttered as he crossed the street heading over to meet them. He wanted to meet people and that alien made him excited, what was it were did it come from, had it been in space? So many question that filled his head, he always wanted to be in space, and this man had to come from space (Or area 51) Regardless he had to meet this man.
He got acrossed the street heading towards the two men wearing his rag and no shirt. Tattoo's running down his body. He approached the men waving "Hello i hope this is not rude but you two are not of this world?" He asked with exictment. He attempted to calm himself down but it was easy to see he was bursting with curiosity. "I love space always wanted to go into space but might as well learn about it before i enter it." He said fidgeting with his fingers. He really did not know what else to say to the men though as he just jumped in as he rubbed the back of his head "Sorry it was probley rude just jumping in my name is mochi i am from the Northern part of Earth long walk from here but i'm also looking to learn more about ki and martial arts not too good at it yet but i'm learning." He said with a little laugh.

Tilted his head at the man's question, about whether his thoughts were for people's well being or purely for business. "There are many other planets I could visit....Earth being devastated would not really effect me much. I was just making an observation. No offense meant, but I wouldn't go out of my way to help anyone other than family or those I've managed to form a relationship other than acquaintance with. I suppose that's my Arcosian nature talking. A lot of us don't really care for anyone other than those close to us....and even then some Arcosians are colder. Of course I'm not into the conquering our people, like the Saiyans, are known for...So I could say while I'd never go out of my way to help people...I wouldn't go out of my way to harm them either." he said, shrugging.
"So mostly I was just pointing out a fact. Earth's survived as long as it has through luck from what I've seen...Lucky it was as far as it was from either empire....lucky they have fighters, on a planet full of warriors comparatively much weaker than the SSE's weakest, strong enough to push back what should have been an unstoppable army due to Earth's military power being so poor that one SSE soldier could wipe out scores of their's. I'm surprised this planet isn't a new Saiyan capital." Looking around, he chuckled a bit. "Lucky for me that it's not. I couldn't imagine what would happen if I had crash landed on an SSE world instead of a neutral one."
With that finished, he caught the newcomer's approach out the corner of his eye. He listened as the man practically gushed forth words, talking about how he loved space and how he was trying to learn about being a martial artist. The arcosian blinked, before responding. "I am Aizig. I am indeed not from Earth. And I'm sure you could find any number of books on the subject of space. Though I've traveled through it for years, I'm not much of an expert. I'm a merchant, not a professor." he said, chuckling.

The Arcosian's response was certainly more interesting than some emotion-driven drivel. He found himself oddly pleased with the fact that he was wrong on both fronts, as it allowed him to experience a new perspective. Neither romantic nor pragmatic, but just conscientious. Sorrel nodded intently as Aizig presented his analysis of Earth's situation. He found himself appreciating his conversation with the Arcosian even more.
"Offense? I told you that I would not hold your opinion against you." He chuckled at the diplomatic response, though he would be lying if he said he never expected a merchant by trade to be diplomatic. As much as he wanted to analyze the subject, he became aware of a new participant. While his body remained firmly directed towards Aizig, his head turned and tilted to allow him view of Mochi. He arched a brow, deciphering the Earthling's origin even before he mentioned it. If there was anything that Sorrel prided himself in, it was his thorough study of Earthling culture in his time spent on the blue sphere.
"Ah?" Sorrel blinked, a bit surprised by how sincere the newcomer was. He shook his head, shrugging in response to the human's enthusiasm.
"I am also not from Earth. I've been to many a planet as well, but Earth is the first one that I've studied thoroughly enough to give any information on." He paused for a second, remembering the reason why he came to the shopping district in the first place.
"Oh, yeah. I need a new ship. But I guess you wouldn't know where I can get one, Mochi? Ah, and the name is Sorrel."
