The treat caught her off guard. This strange old man must have mistaken Negi and herself or younger than they were. Even so, the Majin took no offense and like her companion she snatched the treat from the air. The sweat snack was not something she normally ate nor did she know if she could trust this man. Plato had invited him to this event so it was likely there was no foul play, but she would place it save. With a small inclination of her heard she stowed the treat for later.
More shocking than the random treat was that Negi pulled out her chair for her. A small smile was directed at him as she sat down. With his assistance she slid up against the table and prepared for the delicious meal to come. As the meal commenced Plato shared his tale, a brief version of how he found himself the King of an entire people. Shemha listened intently to his words and what he planned to do with his new found power. When he was done, she found herself unsurprised as to his choice. From the day she had met him, Plato came off as a controlled individual. He wanted the strength to save his people and now that the task was complete, he seemed to care little for the power the throne could provide.
Shemha sipped water provided to her and sampled the various dishes. All the while she sat and listened, there was little she had to say.
